Howdy folks! We're planning to get started on our train of community events with some spooky anime for October!

We are planning to start out with Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales and its spinoff Mononoke (2007) for this month! (Tentatively/hopefully ending with Mononoke: Karakasa but we don't know right now when it'll be available.)

The times can be adjusted if needed, so hop in the discord and let us know if you wanna come but this doesn't work for you, but for now: we're going with Mondays at 8:00PM EST, starting with Monday, October 7! We'll probably watch for 2-3 hours, but we'll see what works for everyone!

Oh dear… You have guts 5/10 I say it's a 50/50 thing. In his profile he does like the strong.. idk if being bold like that is considered strong but.. you do you. Um would ask a fight about it. Idk if geisha allowed to make new ideas in the way to "seduce" customer but would add cake fight for the fun of it. Like tochiro+10 points if you do it to shizuki.

Natsume Yuujinchou AU where Natsume was so mistreated and neglected as a child he became a youkai at some point, but nobody noticed because his spiritual power was strong enough to manifest human form, and he never had much presence anyway, and nobody really knew him in the first place. But he's just a little bit weird. Even moreso than in canon. Sometimes he seems to just disappear into thin air. Sometimes his eyes seem to gleam or his expression darkens in a way that's just a little too inhuman.

The Fujiwaras take him in and love him anyway. His friends love him anyway. Maybe Natsume isn't fully aware of it himself, so used to being what he is. Maybe Madara tells him he smells like ayakashi and humans, so much so that even he struggles to figure out what he is.

Maybe he even fools the exorcists for a while, until somebody gets suspicious and tries to seal him, to make him their shiki...

ayakashi is a gatcha otome game about cute anime boys that you can date. obviously, i ate that shit up 😌

ayakashi is about a girl, yokais in human form, bad spirits set in meiji or taisho period

the game doesn't update anymore, but it has all the stories fully released, and you can play it for the story, not for the gatcha :>

anyways, kuya is a silly one, i didn't think i would like him at first. he is lazy, not very talkative, prefers not to be involved, and sleeps a lot. honestly, me irl

but his story unexpectedly caught my heart!

and his counterpart is.. kuya haha, that one was easy

like all other yokai, he was born in nc world, having bits and pieces of his memories from past life. kuya is tengu yokai, which is more mythical than normal animal (in nc all yokais were animals at their birth). it complicates things just a little, but there is some mythical creatures in nc, so i say it doesn't matter that much.

kuya lives in wood territory, too, but closer to the border with light territory. he enjoys human-made cuisines, and likes reading books. so he often visits villages and cities nearby.
