As Chiaki continued to lead Tenko through the vast mansion, they would continue to walk past many other young women, their appearances matching the descriptions of the various women who had disappeared from the village. Eventually, the two of them would reach the entrance to the study, and Chiaki would open the door for the hunter, giving her a friendly smile. "This is where we part ways, for now. The master wishes for me to prepare the guest bedroom for you to sleep in tonight. I'll see you at dinner, though."

On the other side of the door, a beautiful young woman sat in a rather elegant, but very comfy looking chair. She was dressed in a fancy black dress, adorned with gothic lace. She had pale skin, blood red eyes, and long black hair styled into gothlic ringlets. In one hand, she held a book, and a glass of what appeared to be wine in another. As she sensed Tenko's presence, she looked up from her book with a warm smile, one that clearly showed a pair of sharp fangs between her lips.

"Tenko Chabashira. Somehow, I always knew one day you'd pay me a visit." She stood from her chair and calmly approached, showing no fear of the weapons she knew the hunter carried. "I am the master of this house, Lady Celestia Ludenberg. May I ask what brings a distinguished hunter like yourself to my home?"

"I can understand that. You and Reiki mean the world to be as well." There were so many potential issues that their little family could face. But they couldn't just play it safe forever. Which is why Tenko wanted to push for what could make it easier for them to face the challenges. "Even if Reiki is teased for not having a traditional family, I want her to be able to hold her head high and be proud of the family she has! I suppose what we need more than anything... is to train Reiki's heart!" The little girl in question naturally had no idea what was going on with this conversation. But Tenko felt relieved to finally have a firm goal of what they could do. "We need to give Reiki the kind of upbringing where she can weather any storm, even when we can't be there! It won't be easy, but I feel like its our duty as her parents!"

It had been a little over half a year since Tenko and Peko retreated to the Japanese countryside and began their new lives. They had been wished to retreat from the world at large. Currently, Tenko was sitting in a rocking chair, holding her little Reiki in her arms. The little girl had been rather fussy today, and Tenko was doing her besto to get her to calm down.

Rise was on her break from her shift at her grandma's tofu shop, taking a stroll around the shopping district for some fresh air, still in her work attire. Just as she was wondering what to buy for herself at lady Shiroku's store, someone came up to her.

Tenko helped Sayaka put up the karaoke machine, then patiently waited for the idol to finish showering. At last, the activities that they had done seemed to catch up with her, and the aikido master felt bone-tired. When Sayaka exited the shower, Tenko took a towel of her own and entered the shower, before stripping out of her clothes and stepping inside to get clean. It was a relief to get all the sweat and grime from the day's activities washed away. When Tenko dried herself off and got into the clothes borrowed from Sayaka, she felt refreshed, if still tired. Exiting the bathroom, Tenko said to Sayaka, "So are there any last things that you want to talk about? If not, we can get ready to figure out the sleeping arrangements! Tenko had a feeling that once she lay down for sleep, she would conk right out and not wake up until the morning.

"Maybe it should be. I hate saying it, but after everything, I'm starting to get a little tired." She wasn't a slouch by any means, but she didn't have Tenko's seemingly infinite energy, and her own was starting to wane heavily. "Thanks for letting me go first, let's put up the machine first, though."

Once they get that done, she goes to get a change of clothes for after she gets out. "I'll try to keep it quick for you. Be back in a moment," she says before going to the shower.

It would take almost ten minutes, but she would be done and dressed in the pjs that she picked out consisting of a t-shirt and shorts. She was drying her hair as she stepped out of the bathroom. "It's all yours now."

The woman looked to be slightly older than Tenko, with blue hair, a gray trench coat and her bangs covering one of her violet eyes.

Tenko opened her mouth to answer, but initially no words came out. The aikido master had met many women in her life, but this blue-haired woman was drop-dead gorgeous. When Tenko finally found her words, she said, "Do you mean my Neo Aikido? Because I would certainly be glad to teach you anything that you might want to know about it!"

"It aches, but the pain will subside soon." Kaede leaned into the headpats, immensely grateful for the other girl's company. Before Tenko discovered her secret, she'd always had to spend these nights alone.

"I'm glad you're here. I'm used to the pain, but I never got used to the loneliness. It's nice to not have to worry about that anymore." The wolf gave a small smile, or at least as much of a smile as she could manage in this form. "You're sure you don't mind spending the night here?"

Yukari was walking down the school hallway since it was lunchtime and noticed a dark-haired braids girl looking at the bulletin board with confusion. She had never seen her before, and someone in her class mentioned a new transfer student, so it must have been her. Walking over to her, she smiled at her friendly.

"Hey there. Are you looking for your classroom? I'm Takeba Yukari from class 2-F. Are you headed there, by any chance?"

it had been some months since Tenko and Yui last spoke. In that time Yui had traveled to America, got a tan and came back refreshed. She was ported onto a case in which she cleared easily. Right now, she was in a bar with the other detectives celebrating their legal victory. Yui had called Tenko since she wanted to catch up with her but hadn't gotten a response. Yui's drink fizzles as the bartender slides it to her not realizing anything out of the ordinary yet after she took a few sips she was a bit woozy. Her vision doubled as she got up stumbling before a red-haired man helped her to her feet. Unfortunately for Yui she passed out right as he performed such a "kind" gesture. He volunteered to take her home so she could sleep off the drinks. The man slowly drags the detective out the door and into the cold night air.

Out of nowhere, Tenko got a message from Yui Samidare. It had been a while since she met with the detective, didn't mind meeting up with her. It had slipped Tenko's mind to respond as she made her way to the area where Yui had said she would be. Yet all the friendly greetings that Tenko had planned completely vanished from her mind when she saw the man dragging Yui behind her. Tenko didn't even say anything or think about her actions. The aikido master immediately rushed behind the man to smack his head with her fist.

"Not at all. Besides, the weather's nice today, right?" Chiaki smiled, paused and saved her game, and slipped the console back into her bag before standing up and kissing her girlfriend.

The gamer had grown a lot bolder since she and Tenko first started dating. The other girl had rubbed off on Chiaki a fair bit, giving her a much needed confidence boost.
