Scared of Himiko because he freaks out about magic (despite being a fan of theatre, magic shows make him cry as he thinks it’s real and that scares him)

K1-B0 finds him a bit weird because he doesn’t understand why a human is dressing up like an animal (he’ll get it eventually)

Used to like Kokichi and found his lying funny but after Kokichi asked if his tail was a buttplug he immediately just switched up on him

Became besties with Angie because he matches her energy- became besties with Kaede because she willingly skated with him in a totally real freetime event- became besties with Kaito because they’re both ‘dumb’ and afraid of Ghosts

Miu and him have BEEF. And I mean, more beef than Miu has with Kokichi. Simply because .. I don’t like Miu and I want Susumu to not like her either.

Was first intrigued by Gonta after hearing his backstory about being raised by wolves. Wolves being his favourite animal, he immediately started clinging to Gonta and asking questions. To which Gonta had to lie, as he was not in fact raised by wolves. As they grew closer Gonta eventually came clean about the wolf thing being a lie. Susumu didn’t care. He was already so close to Gonta and he didn’t wanna end their friendship because of a lie, he can get over it. He desperately wants to teach Gonta how to ice skate but Gonta is far too worried about the ice breaking so he doesn’t- and instead just watches Susumu skates with admiration (they gotta kiss bro)

RYOTA MITARAI HEADCANONS BECAUSE I’M BOORED.

•On the autism spectrum/Neurodivergent, has extreme anxiety that he’s SUPPOSED to take medication for but doesn’t, anorexic.

•Smells like pudding (uses the same body spray that his mum used to wear as it hits close to -the good parts of- home).

⬆️ Doesn’t wear cologne and prefers body spray as cologne is too strong.

•As a child, he used to cling onto his mums leg CONSTANTLY. It didn’t help that she was a preschool teacher at the preschool Mitarai went to, as he clang onto her there as well. His father on the other hand was an estate agent. They had quite a bit of money. Not rich per se, but comfortable.

•Has glasses. Specifically pink circular ones. He doesn’t like wearing them though.

•Has acne. And voice cracks.

•Feels genuinely disappointed when an incredible anime with kickass lore has fanservice.

•Definitely has a concerning amount of Hatsune Miku merch.

•Would rather kill himself than sexualise any of his ocs in any way.

•Usually spaces out during important Future Foundation meetings. Tengan is aware of this. But because Tegan picks favourites he just sends Mitarai all of the information via email afterwards.

•Called Tengan “grandpa” and Chisa “mom” before.

•Has very frequent hallucinations of Enoshima. He’s gotten so used to it, it’s almost as if her “spirit” is haunting him. Even though he knows his mind is playing tricks in him. He genuinely does NOT gaf anymore, and just deals with it until she goes away.

•Low-key likes creepypastas. Along with urban legends too.

•Trans-male. Not very open about it but will be honest if someone asks.

•Has scars on his shoulder and his thighs. Bad habits.

•After the incident with Tsumiki he hates being touched at ALL. Any sort of physical contact makes him feel deathly uncomfortable or mortified.

•Has troubles showering after almost drowning to death. Almost every time he tries, he starts having a panic attack and has to get out.

•Low-key hates Juzo and Munakata because they’re both mean but would do anything for Chisa. (Not rlly a tw need for this part but eh).

⬆️ Has a gigantic nasty bruise/mark on his stomach/lower rib cage area after being aggressively kneed by Juzo. (Knowing Juzo it has probably happened before too).

Gonta and Ryomas dynamic is so silly. Like imagine breakfast with them- Gonta out here eating a whole ass stack of pancakes (since he canonically likes sweet things) and then you’ve got Ryoma sitting there solemnly with his black coffee that’s cooled down a bit too much so it’s uncomfortable to drink
