what I read in the text with Elain's behavior and the unaccepted mating bond is not someone conniving to hurt another. I read cues that someone doesn't feel safe to reject something she wants to say no to. that insecurity is incriminating, but not quite of Elain...

Elain's journey/story has reinforced the message that her selfhood is secondary in value. no one unlearns that in a season because now they live in a magical world. arguably, even more caution should be advised. how long did Feyre take to come to her own decision that was undeniably better for her? this amount of dissonance is kinda cruel. either nothing is expected of Elain because she has nothing of worth to offer, or her all is expected because she is the only thing of worth to offer. It's confusing at best, and global gaslighting... worse.

if Elain's only self-claimed power at the moment is her resistance, her subtle refusal to move on something before she's ready, her choice to invest elsewhere... to take her time....then she's wiser than everyone else. she's protecting own permission. and unless Luc is diabolical beneath, I can't imagine he really wants her subjugation... he's not Beron; and he's fused to the freedom fight for a woman whose bodily autonomy has been abused #provassa. positions that stand for Feyre, Nesta, Gwyn, Emerie, and Mor's due justice of choice, but drop Elain from that list, isn't valuing women, it's valuing temperament and type.

Elain said 'no thanks' a thousand times. choosing not to hear it because it doesn't 'sound' like the expectation is disturbing.

I am really confused about this game. Is it like "Doki doki literature club" ? the game seems to break the fourth wall after getting bad endings and someone speaks in red text. Is it Ren and is he stuck in the game like Monica?Or is he and Redacted separate people, with him being a game character,but Redacted being some sort of entity who's stuck in the void of the game,or in it's code,and acknowledges that it's a game and someone's playing it and they speak to the player, not the game's protag?

But!! To answer your question: Ren isn't aware that Angel and the player are separate people. As of right now, he considers Angel and you as the same entity, and speaks to you as though you're part of his universe.

Ren is aware that his entire existence only comes into fruition whenever you play the game — but to him, that's considered normal — the same way getting wifi from trees and not discovering 80% of the ocean is considered normal for us. Nothing is out of place for him, and the way he interacts with his environment doesn't seem weird or out of place for him.

The Dead Ends are the only time Ren breaks the fourth wall, but it's still a massive WIP and there's not enough content for it to make much sense yet. But once more Days get released, this will be further explained!!

Okay, it's not a good *wallet* habit, but i highly recommend cultivating a stress response of acquiring a new niche hobby. Work is hard? New hobby! Never enough hours in the day to do important things? NEW HOBBY. It's a flawless solution, don't even worry. So speaking of magic affecting biology. What long-term biological affects do you think the various transformations the LU boys have gone through have on them? I think with Twilight and Legend, the affects are more evident with their markings, but beyond just facial markings, how do the transformations affect them? Does Twilight need to eat more meat or eat his meat rarer than before? Does Legend learn towards a more vegetarian diet and feel sick if he eats meat or need to hydrate more often because of t he fish tail item? Does Time sometimes fluctuate between different baselines depending on the many, many transformations he has? Does Hyrule require sugar the way we require proteins and carbs?

I mean, you can have as much fun with it as possible, I can’t realistically say what effects magic would have lol. Personally, the way I look at it is lingering habits rather than physical effects.

Twi automatically has wolf instincts and mannerisms when he becomes one. If he’s been one too long, some habits bleed over for a little bit when he turns back. Big stretches, zoomies that he just doesn’t bother reeling in, flopping on people. But he has to be a wolf a good while for that to seep over - it happens far more on his adventure than in LU.

If Time switches between masks too much in too short a span of time, he’ll forget his body’s size/capabilities. He gets stuck in a hole one time, his butt and legs wiggling helplessly, because he’d been a deku scrub earlier and something else before that and, well, the hole looked like he’d fit in it. No, he’s never calling for help, he’ll just stay here until he can unstick himself, thank you very much.

I feel like Legend is ashamed for his dark world form and would avoid ever turning into it if possible. But maybe during his adventure he’d freeze up when he hears something, like a bunny does, and it��s a habit that has continued because it allows him to better examine his surroundings.

Hyrule very much strikes me as somebody who will do anything to accomplish a goal and not necessarily think twice about it. He’d jump in and out of fairy form within a minute’s time, so it would never be long enough to really develop any kind of habits. That boy’s always on the move, but I feel like he prefers being himself rather than, say, turn into a fairy and explore the whole world like that. But that’s just the vibe I get 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wasn't expecting to stumble upon your blog, but it's nice to find someone and something native related! But as I was scrolling and reblogging, I couldn't help to feel that I know I'm part native on both sides of the family, my mom is adopted but a DNA test and a few family members contacting her she's partially 30 something percent Kickapoo, however on my dad's side all I was told is that my great grandmother was full Choctaw- I do remember my grandpa being very dark skinned so I guess he was half, grandma was Hispanic, but my dad, uncle, and aunt are all white appearing, then there's me- sorta Hispanic looking but someone in the past pointed out I have a "native" nose and chin. Until I get a DNA test, how much native do I have in me???

DNA tests are useless for determining tribal connections [except in cases of adoption where they can connect people to birth family.], and blood quantum [the measure of how much 'native one has in them'] is a colonial concept used to invalidate natives to avoid giving them land, resources, and reparations, and to slowly drive native people 'extinct' by saying you have to have a certain BQ to be native. It's usually considered rude to ask what someone's BQ is, at least among a lot of cherokees, seeing as CNO does not have a BQ requirement for enrollment.

Just. Please educate yourself even a little bit before making natives online see this kind of shit in our inboxes. If you're interested, do your own genealogy and research into those tribes or just native issues at all please

Hm, I haven't properly watched Gravity Falls in a while (I KNOW IM SORRY), but comparing their personalities from what i know they have a couple similarities and differences.

For first interactions I'm not entirely sure how or where, neither of them are naturally social but if someone were to start a conversation it would be Prefect, and once they realize they're both named Ford P. they'd hit off perfectly.

I think they'd love to go out for a small drink and talk about their outlooks on life, about space, their own traumas and relationships, about their research and studies with their respective books (Pines to the Journals, and Prefect to the Guide), and about their plans for future. This interaction could also be a lot funnier depending on the tone you wanted to take.

Ooooh they could also rant about their annoying family members (Zaphod and Stan)

They would also engage in an epic game of Dungeons & More Dungeons no doubt

I always thought is very tricky to draw that wrinkle that goes from the nose and around the mouth and still male it look good, but gosh you nail it in every art, super expressive and pretty. Looking at all your drawings 🔍🕵‍♀️ to properly appreciate and study it. But wow really in love with your art style is so expressive and pleasing to look at, and the colors are so pretty 👌👌👌👌

i LOVEEE drawing wrinkles!!! it makes faces soso so expressive and i try to add wrinkles to every character i draw whenever i can. and the fact i also love drawing characters smiling (they make me happy, so i want to be able to share my joy to other people by drawing them smiling too!) which of course makes that wrinkle around the nose and mouth more prominent :-)

im not a person that can draw well from memory, i use references excessively even if it doesnt turn out the same way from the reference im copying from in the end 😊

i drew these out real quick but i have no clue how to explain any of these so i just thought about sharing it with you anyways!

call it "cheating" or whatever, but most of the time i even trace over the reference just to have a base i can copy the expression im trying to draw from. i do art for fun and if it makes my process that much easier then. well!
