When the team is ahead by a lot, the teammates goad her into doing her topspin jump serve, which is really strong but only goes over the net 30% of the time

Does not play back row. Bad at defense and is offended you would expect them to play any

5’8” but jumps high enough to play front row

Takes a lot of pride in tricking the blockers. She’ll pretend to dump then set pearl or notice the blocker cheat in one direction and set the opposite side.

Jump floater serve, frequently gets aces because she aims for the sideline or end line and passers think it’s going out

Stress

5’2” but the team always jokes that she’s <5’

Libero

Every time she subs in for pearl, pearl stands on her toes and raises her hands as high as she can so stress jumps to high five her

She has short hair so her ponytail is a little nub

Great at motivating the team, cheers the loudest after a point

Meet the Volleyball Team!!!

I really enjoyed drawing this one, and it was an amazing practise for poses in motion. Haikyuu is still strong in my head as I’m rewatching the 3rd season, so I had to play with the concept of Mobians playing this sport too)))

I don’t the name fore their team though, but I have some suggestions. Drop me yours, I wanna see them!

More MCSR Volleyball AU Thoughts

this isn’t more positions people play it’s just random thoughts that have been bouncing around in my skull

Both Fein and Couri wear those fuckass sports goggles while Fulham just wears his normal glasses. Said glasses have been broken on several occasions.

Couri bullies Poundy for his lack of receiving skills and Poundy bullies Couri about how he doesn’t ever serve. One time the coach tried to intervene and they were both adamant that they liked this way of interacting. (wait omg what if i make nerdi the coach)

Fruit once managed to fully trip an opposing player under the net and almost got thrown out for the rest of the game.

Dylqn has jumped too high before and ended up blocking a spike with his face (still got the point though).

Reign and Silverr once scored 8 consecutive points and ended a game with the same synchro approach.

Fein and Fulham always meet before matches to discuss strategy together then debrief the whole team. (thank you tins this idea came from your art :3)

Pete has a tendency to make friends with opposing teams when off the court but still manages to throw off their mental during actual games.

Training camp arc with the hermit team.

One time Fein tried to argue with an official about a call for 5 minutes, delaying the whole match.

Silverr will take his mask off to play but that’s about the only time.

Reign is notorious for falling asleep sprawled across whoever is sat next to him on the bus (usually Silverr)

transferee remus lupin determined to finish his senior year under the radar until volleyball captain james potter came up to him and said “you’re taller than me have you considered being a middle blocker?” to which he replied “the fuck is a middle blocker?”

cue james potter being incredibly invasive and dragging remus to the gym for the men’s volleyball club and there he meets setter sirius black and promptly fell in love later on he joined the club because volleyball is fun and definitely not because sirius black is hot

(they get invited for a practice match with the school nearby where sirius’ brother is their setter and james falls in love lol)
