They are a regular fox and tibetian fox, respectively. With the team’s overall theme of foxes this decision was really easy)

And the silver baby is here! Another big cat in Karasuno, surprisingly. The snow leopard just gives me the same cool but kinda silly vibes, just like Suga. Like, did you see those videos of snow leopards encouraging the little kittens to practise hunting on them by faking getting scared by them, and jumping really high (I hope you understand what I mean). That Suga with the first years, right there!

Also, I like giving cool pretty patters to cool awesome characters, sue me)

Oikawa Tooru and Hajime Iwaizumi

There they are! The legends! The dogs!!!

Like I said already (in my previous post about Kageyama and Hinata), it was mentioned in the anime a few times that the Seijo’s structure of the group and the rivalry relationship between Iwa and Kyoutani resembles that of the wolf pack. It might have been a pull from the dub or sub translators, but I’ll take it as it is. Either way, their team don’t have an animal mascot at all, and making them plants was not in my to do list, so canines it was.

Not like any other team took that animal as their mascot, anyway)

And, additionally, Kyoutani’s nickname Mad Dog is pulling the idea in the same direction as well, so there you have it: if Nekoma are cats, Karasuno are crows and Inarizaki are foxes, than Aoba Johsai definitely can be dogs/wolves!

For the breeds I chose, not much thoughts were put into it, I’ll be honest. Mostly was going after the vibes, once again. For Iwa I wanted something strong, but not explicitly a wolf. So husky was my way to go. For Oikawa, it’s totally my bias! I don’t remember the name of the breed, but you can see how it looks in the references below the cut. I just like the spots, okay!?

I really like my Mobian Oikawa design, and that’s why i drew him more than anyone else, as of now lol (and Iwa just always around, as a treat)))

Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio

I really enjoy drawing all this poses and scenes from Haikyuu in the style of Sonic franchise’s Mobians. In this, as you can see, I decided to make Kageyama a dalmatian. It just feels like his vibe. I was also thinking doberman maybe, but it’s too fancy for his dork ass, as I see it. Also, it would fit in with his former teammates from the middle school that are in Seijo now. It is because, simultaneously with plants and blue castle, I associate their school team with the pack of wolves, as it was also in the show itself a few times. So most of them would be dog/wolf Mobians, I decided. (I already have Oikawa and Iwa drawn so you’ll see their designs almost right away)

For Hinata though, I was making decision mostly off of his speed and hair color. I wanted some warm looking and energetic animal. So the cheetah was a good choice in my opinion. Also, their are known for being quite nervous and anxious animals, and, with Hinata always having stomach problems because of his nerves, it’d fit too) Also, no one would be that much surprised by his speed in quick attacks anymore, judging by his origin, but the hight of his jumps would still count for something hehe

But, imagine if Shoyo gets mistaken as an orange tabby quite regularly(because of his health or something) and so when he speeds past the blockers and spikes the ball faster than you could notice where it went, his speed could still be a shocker to some))) Just a fun image in my head

(It was the first piece I did for them, so the designs are still rough looking here heh. I still like Tobio’s pose in this thou)
