These are just my theories but i believe that their gonna be the next antagonist for season 3.

Orlox mentioned how the book doesn't belong in their world nor does old man coyote we see him appear as a shadowy figure with a creepy smile.

At the end of the ep the way his standing behind tera with its hand on her shoulder i feel like his going to try and use her.

And how the camera focuses on maria i feel like old man coyote is going to try and use tera to get to maria and open a way into their world.

Because it seems that they dont have a physical form their like a gust of air appearing here and there since maria is able to summon creatures from the other side.

He might use that as an opportunity like an opening for him to enter their world, remember how maria's magic is black and how all her summoning circles are like a dark abist.

Old man coyote might try and get tera to make maria do that again.

But thats just my theory.

how do you clone a fey? that's trick question; and fey love those!

@the-navistar-carol (<333) brought up a good point while I was talking about my changeling danny au with her -- Dani! How would she exist in this au? Danny's a changeling - a fae. How would Dani, a clone of him, be created? How do you make a fey? Not through any means that Vlad is doing; you can't make a fey through unnatural means, considering the Fair Folk are nature. And Vlad's not a fey himself -- he's a halfa, even if he could make a fey, it's not in his best interest too. He's a powerful ghost, but even the weakest fae can overpower the strongest ghost. He won't want a clone of Daniel to be more powerful than him.

(In a three tier hierarchy it goes Ancients -> Fae/Mythos -> Ghosts. They all live in the Infinite Realms, but on different Planes. The fae live above the Ghost Zone in the Fey Wild, while the Mythos live beside the Wilds or down in the ghost zone depending on where they are. Places like the Frozone, the Athens Acropolis, and other such large islands climb throughout all three Planes.)

(While Ghosts can travel into the Fey Wild, its generally advised against as the ectoplasm tends to manifest differently there due to close contact magic. It can make it rather disorientating for a ghost, and as human spirits, the Fae living there would jump them faster than they could blink. So unless you're willing to play mind games with 'steal thy name eat thy face' fae, most ghosts keep out of the way of the Wilds. Fey can travel down into the Ghost Zone, they just don't bother.)

That's of course, not taking into account if Vlad even knows Danny's a fae himself. Vlad doesn't ring me as someone who really cares much about ghost culture or the going ons of the GZ. He might be aware that fae exist, but the moment he realizes he can't use them for personal gain he just doesn't bother with them. The risk is greater than the reward, and he'd rather not get eaten. But lets assume he's aware by now that Danny is fey, and has to take that into account while cloning him.

So, how does Dani exist? Good question! Honestly; i'm not sure. She might not exist at all, or if she does, she's more halfa than fey. Vlad would need a lot of human dna and ectoplasm to balance out all that fae magic. He manages to steal DNA from Jack and Maddie to do it, and since Jack's fey ancestry is very dormant its much easier to use alongside Danny's DNA.

In turn, it results in a little girl whose more human-ghost hybrid than clone. With that little extra boost in fey magic making her not a fey, but still relatively powerful. Dani is less of a clone and more of a lab-grown little sister. It's a rather tedious, complex process that has Vlad tearing his hair out trying to figure out. But he does eventually figure it out.

While they're still running I think the clear majority has shown itself lmao, gothic vampire/Astarion Pipeline to Gortash is real. Apparently.

Idk what exactly it is, the charm, the snark or the complete refusal to self-reflect, or perhaps the 'I'm gonna ruin the entire world for fucking me over but you're the exception' but smth seems to lead people from one rabit hole down another. Perhaps it's also just the villain fuckery.

Anyway, as much as both of them would hate to admit it, they're awfully similar and people, at least subconsciously, know and love them I guess lol

Perhaps also a bit of hidden goth inside, seeing the reactions to that dracula in particular

https://www.tumblr.com/vladdyissues/770029898074144768?source=share Vlad was expecting the kiss, but Danny fudged him like in the original fairy tale, so, this is how Dani was actually born (i'm really sorry) But actually, in that moment I thought Danny would wake up Vlad for information (even if Nocturn isn't a mayor's fault, Mr Masters still may have helpful knowledge). And we would see a happy farmer family in Wisconsin (almost like "Masters of All Time"). "Deja vu?", Danny would ask himself. But! There were 2 kids: Danny and Dani. So, the only way to wake up Vlad would be real Danny making a promise that in the reality he would love him back if Vlad help him now. (Well, easier is to just kiss Vlad not in a son way, and real-real Danny'd do this, but it's Nickelodeon, so... There could only be the start of the redemption arc. the perfect start....)

No need to apologize for problematic fairy tales, anon, we eat that shit up here 🍽️

But back to Frightmare, I really like the alternate plot you laid out for that episode. Like most ideas posited by fans, it makes a lot more sense than what canon gave us—at least in my humble opinion. Vlad would have made a powerful ally, and probably would have been super-pissed that some sleepytime sandman ghost so easily neutralized him, so why didn't Danny return and wake him up once he figured out how to do that? (I ask rhetorically; we all know Nocturne is the big baddie for this episode, and having Vlad involved—and showing he's capable of being more than a flat, one-dimensional villain—would be too much plot to pack into 23 minutes. And it'd take the spotlight away from Nocturne and Danny. There's only room for one half-ghost hero in this show. Gotta keep it simple.)

But yeah, I would have liked to see what Vlad was dreaming about. Probably a scenario exactly like what you said. Happily married father of 2-20 children, living out a dairy dream in rural Wisconsin. We could have seen a softer, more genuine side of Vlad. Doting Husband Vlad. Dad Vlad. A happy, non-evil Vlad. To quote Disney's Cinderella, "A dream is a wish your heart makes". And what better way to de-vilify the villain than show his dearest hopes and wishes? All this man wants is a family, to love and be loved.

Except I keep forgetting this is a Nickelodeon cartoon and villains aren't allowed to be anything but mustache-twirling clichés 🙃

But at least we got a nice scene in canon that almost looks like Danny defending a sleeping (helpless) Vlad from Nocturne's goons :) Boy can't turn off his protective instinct even when it comes to his arch enemy :)
