The Baby-Sitter’s Club: Mallory Pike [ENFP 2w1]
MBTI Type: ENFP Mallory is highly outgoing, but also doesn’t really know how to connect to anyone, pay attention to her environment, or babysit kids when she first starts off. Instead, she lights up about her passions, like talking about the many stories she has written about horses (sea horses, western horses, etc) and goes on and on at length about them. She is very random, jumping between…

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 25 (Unexpected Death Cull but then a Baby, Finally!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The town of Henford was rocked by a seniors’ river cruise disaster which killed Spencer’s grandparents Dennis and Vivian Lewis-Kim, as well as Ian and Derek Moody-McMillan, who were old friends of the Nesbitts and grandfathers to Nicola, Hazel’s bestie-turned-girlfriend.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The disaster brought Everett and Spencer home to visit her family. The Nesbitts sent condolences, grateful to have been spared greater grief as the town’s fledgling riverboat tourism industry took a nosedive. Spencer met her new niece and infant Greyson got to know his aunts on the Pancakes and Kim-Lewis sides of his family.
The visit made them miss home, and they began to talk about coming home to Henford for good. For now, however, life called them back to Oasis Springs after the funerals.
Daisy was still a PlantSim, which was concerning as the effects of the forbidden fruit had worn off much slower than she expected, and River’s wedding was just around the corner. Despite this, Daisy stayed close to Heather until delivery.
Tumblr media
One evening, Heather tried to show her mother how to use accounting software for her floral business, but it wasn't going well and Heather was starting to get bored. She nonchalantly checked her phone. "You wrote a whole cookbook, Mom. You taught me how to do online research, but you can't figure out a few numbers?"
Daisy frowned. "I always let the telescope do my number-crunching for me. I really just loved gardening." She clicked something, and the program disappeared. "Oh, what now?"
"Let me." Heather leaned over her mother's shoulder. "You deleted it? How did you do that?"
Daisy shrugged in frustration. "I really don't know."
Heather opened her Recycle Bin to retrieve the deleted file when she noticed a strange folder. "VetConnect? Is this a clone? What?"
"What does that mean?"
"I...I think someone might have cloned my app files and given them to Petcare Inc."
"Who would do such a thing?"
"Other than you, no one's used my computer since...since Malcolm! I used to let him log in to send work emails. Oh my god! I could kill him!"
Daisy frowned. "Don't say that. Can you sue?"
"Against the Landgraabs? I don't even know if I could prove it was him," she said. "But I think I can fight fire with fire. My vet tech had the idea, and it took years to make the first one, but I'm going to have to work on a new app."
Tumblr media
After a family dinner in Henford, Heather finally went into labour. Daisy went with her to the hospital, where her doctor was the on-call intern, Jamar Scott, her childhood neighbour.
(And the eldest son of Henford townies Simon and Sara Scott.)
"How's life in Brindleton Bay?"
"It's really great! I love being by the sea and I really feel like the clinic was my calling."
"I know what you mean. What you do for animals is what I love to do for sims."
"And how's Malia's freelance career?"
"She loves the flexibility, and I can't say I blame her. We're talking about starting a family of our own once my residency's done and I can work better hours."
Tumblr media
Just before four in the morning, an exhausted Heather gave birth to a healthy baby boy she named Ash Neal Nesbitt. She debated the last name for months, but Malcolm hadn’t checked on her except when he needed a paternity test. And he stole her mobile app's code!
Tumblr media
Since then he’d been no better than a ghost. If he wanted to miss out on his son's life, Heather was fine with it. ->
<- Previous Chapter | Gen 2 Start | Gen 1 Summary | Gen 1 Start
NOTE: To prevent them from randomly marrying other sims I made Dennis Kim and Vivian Lewis fall in love and marry years after their kids, Eric and Alice, married and started a family (they had three girls - Olivia, Spencer, and Lydia Kim-Lewis).
NOTE 2: I made OG grocer Kim Goldbloom the adopted daughter of Ian Moody and Derek McMillan because I wanted to make all the Henford NPCs playable at the start of the game. (I also paired up Michael Bell and Cecilia Kang despite their canon bad first date, married off Agnes and Agatha and moved them in with the Pancakes after making Agatha the mother of Bob, and put Lavina and Rahul in a home in the Bramblewood. She married Paolo Rocca and had two more kids, Rahul married Rashidah Watson after graduation and they moved to Brindleton Bay to start a family.

Explore the delicate dance of love and vulnerability in our latest reel, where the symbolism of a table and chairs poignantly illustrates the highs and lows of relationships. The table stands as a metaphor for one’s concept of love - stable and secure, until it’s shaken by the retreat of a loved one. Witness how the departure of woman number 1 causes the man’s entire world, his very understanding of love, to collapse. As he struggles to rebuild, a new woman enters his life. The table is upright again, but the chairs have changed positions, and the stability once felt is now a memory tinged with insecurity and fear. Watch as the man grapples with his past trauma, fighting to stay grounded in this new relationship. The woman, understanding and patient, reaches out to him, offering support and reassurance. Yet, the scars of past hurts run deep. Despite her efforts, his fears prevail, leading to a fall that mirrors his first heartbreak. This reel is a visual metaphor for the fragility of love and the impact of our emotional baggage on our relationships. ‘Love is not just about finding the right person, but also battling your own demons to stay with them.’ This piece is a reminder that love can heal, but also that healing is often a journey we must embark on within ourselves first. Share your thoughts on how past experiences shape your approach to love and relationships. Have you found strength in vulnerability, or do you find yourself guarded, fearing a repeat of past pain?

The Boy from the Piano Shop - A Drarry fanfiction by Soliblomst on Ao3 ❤️💔
‼️NO NO STOP. EVEN IF YOU DON’T SHIP DRARRY, EVEN IF YOU’RE TOTALLY DISGUSTED BY THE SHIP, HANG ON FOR A SECOND!‼️⚠️ This book is about so much more than Harry and Draco! Imagine them as other people or something. (If you’re not interested in reading it yourself, at least reblog because I KNOW that so many people would feel so much better after reading it and I’m not even exaggerating!!! 💋)
Tumblr media
I started reading this fic yesterday and finished this morning less than an hour after midnight. Yes, I sacrificed hours of sleep for this fanfic. I read it in the dark under my quilt. It was so, so worth it. I am not joking when I tell you that this is the best fanfic I have ever read. I have only read fanfiction for about a year, and many heartbreaking and absolutely wonderful ones, but this one is 100% the best one yet. It’s even one of the best books I have ever read, to be honest, and books I have read for many many years now.
Everyone should read this. Even if you don’t like Drarry or even know much about Drarry, you should read it, even if you don’t know Harry Potter so well. That is because this fic has so much to teach us. The book is full of life wisdoms about loss, about grief, about moving on, about battling depression, suicidal thoughts and PTSD, about regret, about life in general and how to live in the moment and how to love… it’s some of the best pieces of advice and poetry I have ever read. It taught me many things that I WILL carry with me for as long as I remember it.
It is sad, it is angsty, but only because that’s how life can be and will always be at some point. Sad. Heartbreaking. Soul-crushing, even. But the relationship that is portrayed in the book is so healthy, and yeah, of course it raised my standards so much more. Fanfics, am I right?
It’s a wholesome relationship, it’s all about taking your time and feeling safe, it’s so cute and fluffy but also realistic and, as I said, angsty. Hurt, and comfort. A good ending, not in an unrealistic way like how happy endings are often portrayed in fiction. This book is different, I tell you. It gives you a wonderful glimpse of how real life can be. And that it will all be okay. We will all be okay.
It was such an entertaining read, too! The smut was written perfectly in my liking. And the amount of angst was perfect for the story. Not too little, not too much. It was… ugrhhhzhsh I’m still speechless since yesterday when I finished reading and fell asleep in shock and feeling the best I have felt in a while.
Read it. You won’t regret it. I promise you.
If I have to rate it, it is ♾️/10! And I can assure you, the highest I have ever given a fic before is 12/10. Everyone needs to read this. I was so close to crying happy tears while reading, and I have never cried during a fic yet, even though I’m a really emotional person. This one almost got me. And I was wrecked, and I was so happy about it. I swear, this book ACTUALLY changed me and my views on life. I will never look at Drarry the same way ever again. This book is officially Drarry canon for me. I can’t describe this fic in enough words… omg… all I want is for more people to read it! I don’t know what more I can do to convince you to read it, but please please do it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
‼️Remember to check the TW,s before reading!‼️ Muah 💋
P.S If you’re not interested in reading it, please reblog for the sake of making someone’s day and life a little bit brighter!

A Study of the Heart and Brain (Book 4) Chapter Fourteen
Father Figure! Sherlock Holmes x Teen! Reader
Chapter Fourteen: Final Message
Summary: Vivian's bullet hits someone. Nothing will be the same.
            Bang!
Mary gasped, and red splattered across her shirt. She collapsed against the bench, and while policemen grabbed Vivian, Sherlock rushed to Mary’s side. Mary grunted and tried to breath, her chest heaving with the effort. Blood spread across her stomach, and (Y/N) felt like they could see their biological mother convulsing all those years ago. They were frozen, stuck staring at Mary with their heart in their throat.
“Mary…” they said, trying to move forward towards her. Finally, they managed to drop down next to Sherlock, staring.
“Everything’s fine. It’s gonna be fine,” said Sherlock, pressing a hand to her abdomen. He looked back. “Call an ambulance.”
John ran into the room at that exact moment, and his heart stopped as it landed on Mary’s bleeding body.
“Mary!” he cried, kneeling beside her.
            “John,” said Mary, coughing.
“Mary, stay with me,” said John, putting pressure on her wound. “Don’t worry.”
“Come on, Doctor.” Mary groaned, trying to be lighthearted. “You can do better than that.”
“Come on, Mary,” said John, holding her tight. “Mary?”
“John.” Mary looked at him. “I think this is it.”
“No, no, no, no,” said John. He shook his head. “It’s not. It’s—”
“You’ve made me so happy,” said Mary. “You gave me everything I could ever, ever…”
            “Ssh, ssh,” said John, swallowing.
“Want,” said Mary. She sobbed. “Look after Rosie. Promise me.”
“I promise,” said John. He nodded, trying not to break down in the moment Mary needed him. “Yes, I promise.”
            “Promise,” said Mary.
“I promise, I promise,” said John.
“Hey, Sherlock,” said Mary, looking up at him.
“Yeah?” said Sherlock, breathless, unsure how to respond.
“I so like you,” said Mary. “Did I ever say?”
“Yes, yes, you did,” said Sherlock, his own face quivering with the fight not to emote.
            “(Y/N),” said Mary.
            “I’m here,” said (Y/N) quietly.
“I’m sorry for shooting you that one time,” said Mary. “I’m really sorry.”
“It’s alright,” said (Y/N), swallowing and nodding.
“Keep your chin up, alright?” Mary tried to smile but coughed. “Someone has to be smarter than those old Holmses and keep their egos in check.”
“I will,” said (Y/N), trying and failing to offer Mary a smile.
“Good. You’re a good kid,” said Mary, groaning.
“Mary,” said John softly as Mary bled, unable to stop her pain.
She looked at him. “You were my whole world.”
John’s eyes squeezed shut as he fought back tears unsuccessfully. He sobbed.
“Being Mary Watson was the only life worth living,” said Mary, looking at him with incredible strength.
“Thank you,” said John, gazing at his wife.
            Mary smiled.
Her expression fell. Her head fell. Her body went limp.
            “Mary?” John looked at her.
            No response. Mary was gone.
John sucked in a breath and held her close. He began to sob. His cries turned to a scream of anger, and he looked up, red-eyed, at Sherlock. “You made a vow,” he seethed. “You swore it!” He sobbed and held Mary close once more.
(Y/N) felt Sherlock’s hands on their shoulders, pulling them close as they stared, numb. They would feel the world blurring around them, and the only grounding they had was Sherlock. All they heard was John’s cries.
            I didn’t move fast enough. Why didn’t I stop her? Why didn’t I save Sherlock myself so Mary didn’t? Why didn’t I—Why didn’t I—Why didn’t I?
l
(Y/N) stood beside Sherlock and watched the funeral procession. John led it, carrying the coffin to the grave. Mary was gently lowered into the ground and laid to rest with love and peacefulness. (Y/N)’s gaze didn’t leave her coffin the entire time, and their heart ached.
A piece of their family was gone. The woman who had seemed so separate and dangerous at first because dear and caring. She had understood Sherlock and (Y/N) and not treated them as strange or unusual. She had treated them like family.
She had been smart and clever and exciting and kind and loving.
            Mary Watson was family.
            She always would be. Always.
l
“Nothing will ever be the same, will it?” said Mrs. Hudson, holding a handkerchief to her face. She dabbed at her tears.
“I’m afraid it won’t,” said Sherlock somberly.
            Mrs. Hudson sobbed.
(Y/N) stared at their hands. Without Mary, there was a hole left in their family. And without Mary…they were losing John, too.
“We’ll have to rally around, I expect, to do our bit,” said Mrs. Hudson. “Look after little Rosie.”
Sherlock rose abruptly at the mention of the child now without a mother and went to the pile of letters and cases. “I’m just going to look through these for a case.”
“A case? Oh, you’re not up to a case, are you?” hiccupped Mrs. Hudson.
“Work is the only remedy to sorrow, Mrs. Hudson,” said Sherlock. He desperately needed a distraction.
“Yes, yes, I expect you’re right,” said Mrs. Hudson. “I’ll make some tea, shall I?”
She rose and headed towards the door.
“Mrs. Hudson. (Y/N).” They both looked up as Sherlock spoke. “If you ever think I’m becoming a bit full of myself, cocky or overconfident…”
“…” (Y/N) looked back at their hands.
            “Yes?” said Mrs. Hudson.
“Will you just say the word ‘Norbury’ to me?” said Sherlock. He had gone too far, done too many deductions, hadn’t seen the danger coming. He had failed.
            “Norbury,” said Mrs. Hudson.
“Just that,” said Sherlock. “I’d be very grateful.”
Mrs. Hudson nodded, and (Y/N) jerkily nodded.
“What’s this?” said Sherlock, looking at a package on the desk.
“Oh, I brought that up. It was mixed up with my things,” said Mrs. Hudson. She stood, patted their shoulder, and walked out of the room.
Sherlock opened the package and pulled out a DVD. On the disc were two familiar words.
            MISS ME?
(Y/N) stood, finally able to move. “Is that—”
“Must be,” said Sherlock. He put it into the computer, and (Y/N) hovered behind him. (Y/N) tapped their fingers together as they waited for the video to pop up.
“Thought that would get your attention.” Mary’s face smiled from the screen.
            (Y/N) and Sherlock stared.
“So this is in case…In case the day comes.” Mary forced a tense smile. “If you’re watching this, I’m probably dead. I hope I can have an ordinary life. But who knows? Nothing is certain, nothing is written. My old life…It was full of consequences. The danger was the fun part. But you can’t outrun that forever. You need to remember that, so…
“I’m giving you two a case, (Y/N), Sherlock. Might be the hardest case of your careers. When I’m…gone, if I’m gone, I need you to do something for me. Save John Watson. Save him. Sherlock, (Y/N), save him. Don’t think anyone else is going to save him because there isn’t anyone. It’s up to you. Save him. But I do think you’re going to need a little bit of help with that because neither of you are particularly good with people. So here’s a few things you need to know about the man we all love. And more importantly, what you’re going to need to do to save him.
“John Watson never accepts help, not from anyone. Not ever. But here’s the thing, he never refuses it. So, here is what you’re going to do. You can’t save John.” She shook her head. “He won’t let you. He won’t allow himself to be saved. The only way to save John is to make him save you.”
Sherlock and (Y/N) glanced at one another.
“I know it will be tough for you, (Y/N), but this is the only way. We all need to be strong to save John Watson. You have to go to Hell, Sherlock, go right to Hell and make it look like you mean it,” said Mary, serious and focused. Her voice commanded the room. “Go pick a fight with a bad guy, put yourself in harm’s way. If he thinks you need him, I swear he’ll be there.” The video ended with Mary looking at them with intensity and hope.
Sherlock and (Y/N) stared long and hard before looking at one another. Sherlock’s gaze softened, and he opened his mouth to speak.
            “Do it,” said (Y/N).
Sherlock faltered. “But if I use drugs—”
“If you overdose, I won’t forgive you. But this is for John. I—” (Y/N) squared their shoulders. “I can’t let this hold me back.”
Sherlock put his hand on their shoulder. “I promise, as soon as this is done, never again.”
“I know,” said (Y/N). “This isn’t an excuse or an exception. It’s for John.” Their gaze was hard and focused. “And we have to help him.”
Sherlock gazed at them. (Y/N) was growing so strong, and he couldn’t be prouder. “We do,” he agreed.
“So, how are we going to do it?” said (Y/N).
“We have to find the right bad guy,” said Sherlock, pulling up the news on his computer.
“And we have to keep the act going for a few weeks to really seem like you’re spiraling,” said (Y/N).
            “And you?” said Sherlock.
“I’m going to be working through my anxiety the entire case, so it won’t be an act,” said (Y/N). It was a sad truth, but they were matter of fact about it. They needed to stay focused and push the emotions away for as long as possible.
“…” Sherlock hated that he’d be putting them through such distress after the plane incident, but they were intent on following the plan through.
And so was Sherlock. They needed to save John. Without Mary, he was losing himself. He wouldn’t be able to take care of Rosie soon, and he wasn’t speaking to them at all. He was self-isolating and destroying himself and everything he was.
He had saved (Y/N) and Sherlock so many times. He had made sure they ate, slept, and acted like human beings. They were logic, and he was the heart. He was stronger than either of them.
And now it was their time to save him. Because John was good. He was kind. He was brave. He was loved.
            John Watson was family.

New article about SSE
haven't seen anyone talk about it yet, but seems SSE has made yet another licensing deal...?
Whether anything comes from this of course is "ehh, who knows", because there have been several articles about SSE making licensing and branding deals with nothing to show for it. But apparently SSE is now at 26+ million players.

Rights & Brands saddles up to rep Star Stable worldwide
The Scandinavian licensing agency with The Smurfs and Popeye in its portfolio is on the hunt for consumer products and publishing partners for the popular horse-centric brand for tween girls.
By Cole Watson
February 16, 2024
Hoping to shift from trot to gallop in the consumer products market, Star Stable Entertainment has signed Stockholm-based licensing agency Rights & Brands to represent the global merch and publishing rights of its flagship same-name tween franchise.
The Star Stable brand currently features a 2D-animated series (Star Stable: Mistfall), mobile games, books, music and a role-playing game called Star Stable Online (pictured) that has attracted more than 26 million registered users since launching in 2011—more than half a million of which actively play it each month. This rich digital experience is built around riding, racing and caring for different breeds of horses on the enchanted island of Jorvik.
Rights & Brands already represents the licensing interests of Scandinavian kids brands such as The Smurfs, Popeye and Rune Andréasson’s iconic ’60s teddy bear Bamse. And last month, the agency also inked a deal with Finnish children’s book publisher Etana Editions to manage more than 80 picture books, including The Magic Flower (Marika Maijala) and Oh Vivian! (Sari Airola).

The sun was almost ruthless as it was beating down on the pair as they took to the street on their way back to the lab. The young men had known it was going to be a hot afternoon unobscured by the thick quilt of clouds that threaten to wring its contents out onto the earth any moment now but, Viktor knew it wouldn't be long until they were back. If anything, the heat and slight bout of humidity was nothing but an indicator really that they were building up to release their rain just before the evening. But still, at least if it was raining, there was still a small probability that someone would at least remember to organise transportation for them. Quite literally almost anything to replace the long, uncomfortable walk from the Academy to the new lab Ms. Medarda had arranged for them to further their research. At least on the days he had to wear the dreaded cage around his affected leg as per doctor's orders.
Bloody hell, why can't you just be normal and behave for one day?
His femoral anteversion has been acting up again, slowly growing worse as it became increasingly painful to walk around like he once had before. He knew it wouldn't be long until it started getting to his spine too and in addition to the new and ever so irritating leg brace he had to wear now to correct it, surely, a new, suffocating spine brace were to follow. The question was when, as he looked down at his feet to watch his steps as he tried to keep up with Jayce, not just in pace but in chatter. His golden eyes all but scrunched up in a glare as he watched the metal flex as he walked.
Viktor didn't legitimately know what was worse. The mild, throbbing, ever present pain, the bloody cage in itself, or the stares the now visible leg brace brought. He hated it, ever since he had to wear his new brace it was as if almost all eyes were on him now, whether it be pity, curiosity or some semblance of distaste and unease. It was bad enough that almost every Piltovan and their mother, or child it feels like, would stare if they bothered to look at him long enough, it was even worse however that it was with lingering gazes.
Even as they were walking now, he could catch a few looks, even a curious child pointing him out, looking up at their mother to ask questions as she chided and slapped the little hand away from pointing. The scene, even if innocuous enough, was in itself enough for Viktor to go silent almost entirely. It was obvious Jayce had come to pick up on his discomfort. He saw it in not just in how Viktor was slowing down from the dull, ever growing pain of a exhausted limb being forced to twist into place, but also the way Viktor went from bantering to sparse responses to his enthusiastic prattling that slowly went from matching Jayce's enthusiasm to exasperation.
It was then they both fell into a silence as Jayce slowed in pace and wrapped Viktor up carefully in an arm, hand on the small of his back like where he usually put it when he helped Viktor stand up these days.
“Viktor? Are you okay?”
For the first time that entire walk, Viktor looked up into his partner's eyes as he quietly asked the question. Even if a part of him didn't want to, and wanted instead to remain glued with venom onto his feet and the steel tipped contraption that adorned one of them. He didn't know what was even worse than his body’s failings, the stares and lingering gazes of the occasional stranger or the way Jayce's eyebrows would knit in concern as he’d look at him. Even if it came from someone who understood him and his predicament. Jayce knew already about Viktor's condition, from snippets of benevolent curiosity and timid inquiries spoken out loud in caution out of fear of treading lines he didn't want to tread if it meant causing hurt or offence to his friend. He already knew that, sometimes, Viktor would wear a leg brace, even if it was the thin yet sturdy structure he could easily hide under his clothes.
He was there for Viktor the whole way through, even on the first day Viktor fell and the string of appointments that followed. Yet still, he did not want to concern his friend, not even more than he already has.
“Oh. I-I’m fine.”
He uttered out pensively with a slight strained smile as he leaned a little on his cane, trying to give his right leg a bit of reprieve. If Jayce wasn’t concerned enough already, VIktor’s words really did not to seem to help matters with how his partner’s brow furrowed so thoroughly that they made as well have part of one unit.
“Are you sure? You look like you’re in-”
Was all Viktor heard in a voice that had not even a few minutes previously used to be so enthusiastic and full of life as he caught Jayce catching a glance at his brace before he took to looking away. It was small but something that made Viktor want to curl up into himself and hide in that moment. Yet, outside of a quiet sigh, and the sensation of a supportive hand letting go to rather wrap him up almost protectively into an arm as Jayce ushered him to a bench, there was nothing more that followed that. Other than warm words as Jayce gave him a soft slight smile and a gentle pace as he tried to be as careful as possible yet vigilant over maintaining his friend’s boundaries.
“Come on. Let's sit down for a bit.”
Was all Jayce said, suggesting it as if was on the same caliber as offering to take him to lunch in his gentle casualty over it all. In that moment Viktor looked up again to see him smile, his furrowed brows giving way rather to little creases that reached Jayce’s eyes as he regarded him back and made the tension Viktor held within body and soul gradually fall away. He could rest at ease now for the first time that afternoon as they sat down together, not just due to the relief from taking off his weight off his leg but also in how everything else around them fade to just a scene of two friends, prattling about how to utilize their newest discovery on a bench. All the while Viktor relieved his discomfort by placing his leg on the bench and working at the joints with a pocket wrench he had since taken to carrying. It eased the ache of the entire walk off, even if he could still feel it in his leg, there was simply something about it that made things feel- easier. But then again, that was one of the many reasons they were partners to begin with wasn’t it? With Jayce by his side there was a innate strength and understanding between them. He only wished he wasn’t such a burden on him at times even when he knew he wasn’t.
Yet even then he couldn’t be helped but reminded of that train of thought as they were interrupted by a pair of boys running down the street, laughing as they trundled a bronze hoop down the street with a stick. It was a scene that reminded him of the water hole in his childhood. Even if, to a degree as he sat there, gazing up to watch them run by from his work of loosening up a joint screw too tight, he also felt reminded of what in childhood, stopped him from doing the same. He wondered what it was like to be free.
