La vita "distratta"

La realtà "fuori fuoco"

Tutti a raccontare con le immagini la vita di quando siamo noi a dettare le regole, di quando decidiamo noi, l'angolo della foto che vogliamo creare, o quella, che ci pare più giusta per quel momento. E di qui, l'abitudine agli scatti in ascensore o contro gli armadi o allo specchio della parete dei bagni. Modalità di ripresa, che impazzano di questi tempi.

Ma che ne è di noi, quando invece facciamo altro, quando siamo impegnati in qualcosa, e veniamo immortalati in uno scatto, a nostra insaputa senza essere noi, i controllori di quello scatto?

Perchè questo mi pare: esiste una fotografia "attiva", che decidiamo noi in ogni parametro di luce, angolazione o inquadratura.

E poi esiste una fotografia "passiva", dove "veniamo come veniamo", dove non siamo noi che stabiliamo noi le regole, nè ci mettiamo in posa nè possiamo impostare proprio nulla.

Allora ci pare d'essere fuori centro, fuori fuoco e di apparire su sfondi improbabili, quando lasciamo che siano altri a decidere ciò che di noi verrà conservato.

Ma la domanda è: c'è più verità nelle foto che facciamo sulla base di una nostra volontà ben precisa ed esplicita oppure è più vero uno scatto improvvisato che ci sorprende distratti, impreparati o occupati a fare altro ?

Me lo chiedo. E siamo certi che le persone ricerchino la "verità" in una fotografia?

Non è, che invece molti, mirano più alla "rappresentazione", piuttosto che alla ricerca di una verità intrinseca e spontanea?

E abolendo completamente il controllo da parte nostra, sottraiamo verità allo scattoo o gliene conferiamo una maggiore ?

Perchè non c'e dubbio che abolita la volontà e il nostro controllo, noi stessi, possiamo diventare pura presenza, un dettaglio fra i tanti, come un tavolo, una sedia, un divano. Parte di un "paesaggio naturale". Come fossimo anche noi un oggetto qualsiasi.

Ma allora, prendiamo posto nella realtà, più nel primo o nel secondo modo?

In questa seconda situazione, (quando cioè non c'è alcun controllo da parte nostra) qualche volta accadrà, che finiremo per essere catturati dal "fuoco amico", tramite lo scatto di chi ci stava intorno in quel certo momento.

Credo che questa domanda non sia soltanto una disquisizione sulla Fotografia, ma faccia parte del grande dibattito sul "significato" e " il significante" d'una fotografia e sul grado di manipolazione dell'immaginario comune.

Ho provato allora a cercare questi scatti "distratti", queste scatti "fuori fuoco" o s-centrate o"sbagliate", secondo i canoni della Fotografia classica. Immagini senza un progetto e una costruzione volontaria che finiscono per congelare in uno scatto, i nostri momenti di "distrazione"

Immagini che catturano una verità autonoma e indipendente da noi. Completamente fuori dal nostro controllo e dai parametri impostati dalla nostra volontà.
