Memilih Hemat

Di usia-usia ini, dan untuk orang-orang yang sudah rumit dengan dirinya sendiri, saya rasa adalah hal yang wajar kalau merasa enggan pada drama-drama yang hanya buang-buang energi, buang waktu, buang mood bagus.

Make it simple. To the point. Banyakin 'yaudah'. Aplikasikan teori dari buku belajar untuk bodo amat, pada banyak hal.

Kalau ada tanggung jawab, ya tanggung jawab. Kalau nggak mau, ya bilang nggak mau, katakan dan sampaikan dengan sopan. Kalau mau sesuatu, ya perjuangin, luangin waktu, kerjakan, selesaikan.

Hemat waktu. Hemat energi. Hemat mood bagus.

Daripada memusingkan hal-hal yang nggak seharusnya dipusingkan, atau sibuk mengurusi hidup orang lain, lebih baik fokus ke pertumbuhan diri sendiri kan? Tonton apa yang mau ditonton. Baca apa yang mau dibaca, suka baca novel ya silakan, suka baca komik ya silakan, suka baca buku tentang flora dan fauna ya silakan, suka baca visualbook ya silakan, suka baca buku sejarah ya silakan. Lakukan hal-hal menyenangkan. Buat kesibukan dengan mencoba hal-hal baru, mencari tahu hal baru.

Ngegosipin hidup orang lain nggak akan ada habisnya. Sama halnya seperti terus membandingkan diri atau kebahagiaan atau pencapaian atau apa pun yang dimiliki orang lain. Nggak akan sudah sudah, nggak akan selesai, nggak akan sampai pada titik akhirnya.

Menyayangi diri sendiri bukan berarti besar ego kok. Tapi cukup paham mana yang sebenarnya diri kamu butuhkan dan mana yang nggak. Input ke diri sendiri hal-hal yang membuat kamu bersyukur pada dirimu sendiri, bukan malah sedih dan merasa nggak berharga, nggak layak, nggak pantas merasa bahagia.

Banyak hal yang bisa kamu 'konsumsi' selain 'drama yang dibuat-buat' di kehidupan nyata.
