Infidelity Reprisal Pt. 1

Warnings: Language, Cheating, Blood, Fighting, Gore, Explicitly. F-Hero, M-Villain.

Hero was happy.

She was content with her sweet life.

How could she not?

She had an amazing job in which she saved people as a hero, obviously, and stopped crime altogether. And she basked in the glory of the people knowing her, the whole city knew who she was and what she did.

She had an awesome boss and good friends who supported her.

And she had an amazing family.

Her life was great, well, as great as life could be.

What she didn't expect was to fall for a criminal. Which should have been entirely impossible.

But she did.

And what's more, marry one.

Villain was one of the most vicious villains in the city, known to be the best of the best. Many other minor criminals were afraid of him and that said all about who he was.

But falling for and marrying him? That was entirely absurd, especially for the fact that she hated him at first.

Back when she was young and a new hero, saving people and stopping crime.

Hero crosses her arms, her eyes narrowed on the figure who was stood in the doorway of her apartment. "What are you doing here?" She questioned sharply, eyeing him dubiously as he would attack her at any moment.

Villain merely gave her a charming smile, bringing his hand forward from behind his back. There was a bouquet of sunflowers in his grasp, bright and sweet.

Hero falters, staring at the flowers. She didn't expect him to know what her favorite flowers were, but he did, surprisingly.

"What do you think, little hero?" Villain snorts, gently shoving the bouquet in her hands and walking past her and into her apartment as if he owned the place.

She blinks in surprise as he brushes past her, and she frowns, glancing at him. She fumbles with the door, scrambling after him. "Wha-? Hey-!" She turns to follow him, surprised at his audacity.

Villain takes a seat on her favorite brown coach, getting comfortable and looking around her apartment with a critical eye.

Hero squirms, shifting nervously as she watched him. She had enough people judging her taste and what she liked, she didn't need him to mock her or possibly insult her.

Villain paused, his gaze snapping towards her. "So?" He spoke up, eyeing her. "Do you like the flowers?"

Hero furrows her eyebrows, glancing down at the sunflowers in her hands. She narrows her gaze. "How could you possibly know that sunflowers are my favorite?"

Villain shrugs, leaning back against her coach. "I've been watching you." Is all he says.

"Like that's not creepy." Hero mumbles, making a face.

Villain grins, watching her. "I like to keep an eye on things that I...admire..." He murmurs, his gaze cat-like.

Hero swallows hard, shifting uneasily.

After that day, he kept visiting her. He kept coming back, with more sunflowers, mint chocolate which he also knew was her favorite, roses and sweet cards with words that he had written himself.

This went on for two long years, and Hero had kept it discreet unless her bosses found out and fired her for her incompetence and for the fact that the most notorious villain in the city, liked her.

And by the third year, Hero started falling for him too. It was the little things he noticed; when she got her hair noticed, why she wasn't going to watch the new release of her favorite movie series, why she hadn't gone to the book store, when she got a pair of new boots or leather jacket. He noticed.

At first, she had been skeptical and in denial of her so-called feelings for him. When she had told her parents about Villain, they had immediately scolded her for rejecting him. They were keen on his 'protection' and for the fact that he was Villain.

"Honestly," Mother had said with a shake of her head, disapproval in her gaze. "If a powerful person had tried to Court me, I would gave said yes. Just by your words I can tell that he's enamored with you!"

Hero didn't bother to listen to her. She would always come second to their priorities, the first would always be her young sister, Sister.

Time went by and eventually, Hero acknowledged the so-called feelings she had for Villain. When she and her team were fighting him, she had noticed that his lackeys would go easy on her. She was annoyed by that but said nothing.

When Villain had come to see her next time, she had spoken up.

"I'm not some weakling who needs your help!" She had snapped, glaring at him. "Your stupid minions barely hit me."

"Oh?" Villain raised his eyebrows, smirking. "You wanna be hit? That's a weird kink."

"I'm serious!" Hero slaps his shoulder, clenching her jaw with her ears a pretty pink. "I don't need you to...I don't need them to go easy on me, just because their boss-" She takes a deep breath. "Just because you..."

"What?" Villain leans closer to her, staring onto her beautiful gaze. "Just because I like you, sweetheart?"

Hero gulps nervously, trembling as she noticed the distance between them.

That night, she had her first kiss with him.

Dates happened, discreet and small. They grew into something much bigger, but Hero knew she got lost in something so entirely. A part of her said it was a had idea while the other said it was incredible.

She soon enough answered his sweet and what looked like an expensive proposal, with a yes. The wedding, it had been all her. He had allowed her to decide on everything, the flowers, decorations, cake, music, food, everything. He just wanted to marry sweet her.

And their marriage? Well, it had been such a sweet experience for her. Their marriage was of course a secret from the Hero Industry, they would no doubt call her a traitor and lock both of them up.

He was attentive, caring, kind and very needy with her. She wasn't a good cook, he taught her. She wasn't good at laundry, he had said that all minions took care of everything.

They went out every single night, or well, almost every single night. They both still had jobs they needed to do, and they made it work.

Hero would not hunt him or his people, while Villain would not hurt her or her team.

Life was good.

But Hero had gotten some horrible news, about Sister and her own husband.

Sister sobbed loudly, tears streaming down her face, sat on the coach in her parent's large house. "I-I-I-" She hiccups, "Ca-can't believe it-"

Villain was leaning against the pillar and few feet away. The only person who knew of his identity and marriage to Hero, were her parents and Hero herself. And their parents knew that telling anyone would result in getting hurt, or something possibly worst.

"He cheated on me!" Sister sobs, big fat tears streaming down her face. "On me!" She screams, trembling with heartbreak and rage.

Villain winches.

Hero watches her sister with something akin to pity but also sympathy. "Darling-"

"Don't darling me!" Sister snaps, pushing her Mother and Hero away with a wail. "That asshole is gonna get what's coming to him! Revenge will come for him."

Hero frowns deeply. "Revenge is not the answer. It's a horrible, horrible thing."

Sister scoffs, her eyes teary as she turns to her. "Oh, what would you know!" She snaps, sniffling. "Your husband is still with you, you wouldn't understand! But I will take revenge on that bastard, I don't care!" She snaps, storming away.

Hero had watched her go with sad eyes.

"She's a bit dramatic." Villain had said when they got home. "But not entirely wrong on the revenge part."

"Come on, I don't wanna have this conversation again." Hero says with a frown. "You know I don't agree with that."

"On revenge?" Villain asked, staring at her frown. "If someone cheats oj you, makes you feel like dirt, betrays you, you wouldn't want revenge? I would." He snorts.

Hero furrows her eyebrows. "I just don't agree with the notion. They'll get what's coming for them, but why would you wanna get revenge on them?"

"Because you felt like it?" Villain scoffs. "Because you felt betrayed and you want them to feel what you feel." He rolls his eyes. "You're so soft."

"Then why did you marry me?" Hero asks, crossing her arms, her gaze set on him.

Villain smirks. "Because of your many qualities, my love."

Hero rolled her eyes, a small smile ok her face.

And when she wasn't at home, she was at the Hero Industry, trying to catch villains and criminals.

"What do you mean?" Hero asks, sat in her cubicle in the main office. Her gaze was on Sidekick, who looked anxious as he shifted uneasily on his feet.

"I meant what I said." Sidekick says quietly, leaning closer to her, he hesitates. "Something is going on with the higher up's."

"Like what?" Hero asks curiously.

Sidekick paused. "...it has something to do with...Supervillain." He whispered.

Hero furrows her eyebrows in confusion. "You mean, that big crime lord from 120 years ago?"

Sidekick nodded, his eyes narrowing with contempt. "Yeah. I don't know what's going on, but they said he's back or something."

"But...wouldn't be old and about, 100 or something?" Hero asks in confusion.

Sidekick had only shrugged.

When Hero had asked Villain, he had tensed but answered nonetheless. "Their just baseless rumors, Hero. Don't listen to them. Most of the villains also think he's back but I think it's ridiculous." He scoffs. "Don't worry you're pretty, little head."

"But who is Supervillain, anyway? I mean, I've heard of him from others and kinda read about him in the Old Archives."

Villain pursues his lips in contempt. "He was a big shot criminal in the 1900s. Practically the King of Crime, he was ruthless, vicious and downright cruel to anyone who wasn't in his inner circle."

"Inner circle?"

"Yeah. He had people in his inner circle from high places, mayor's, lords, big business people, and shit like that." Villain rolls his eyes. "He had spies everywhere and anywhere. He got away with a lot of crimes."

"He sounds horrible." Hero frowns, leaning back against the sofa.

"He was." Villain scoffs. "He ruled the criminals of that time, bought them all, he practically built a whole empire. It wasn't until a few decades ago that he disappeared, something must have happened for him to just...vanish. And he hasn't been heard ever since."

Hero continues to frown, contemplating on his words.

"But people and villains alike say he's still out there." Villain says. "Which is ridiculous. But they say he's still out there, planning. That he still rules from the shadows, killing any villain that isn't worthy. They think he's searching for something."

Hero moves closer to Villain, cuddling into his arms. She sighs. "Searching for what?" She asks quietly.

Villain glances down at her. "No one know what..."

Hero felt the forbade feeling that somehow, they would all soon find out.

Marauders AU in which Voldemort is more intelligent and he creates a massive spell to erase people's memories to his convenience.

Sometime in 1979, Voldemort released a spell that was like a bomb, that created an explosion and chaos. Families were separated. Friends were separated. Lovers were separated.

He invents a "perfect world" only for Purebloods and manipulates their minds to make them think muggleborns and halfbloods are savages that want to kill everyone, because the lack of magic had corrupted their minds and they are practically wild animals.

So he builds a wall around Hogwarts and other parts of the Wizarding Community where purebloods and very selected wizards live inside a bubble. Like a dome. Outside the dome, everyone else stays behind left to survive in the forest and the ruins of the wild.

So obviously a very small selected group of death eaters (like Bellatrix, and Snape) know the truth, and work to maintain the order inside the dome, the rest are brainwashed.

Inside the dome, there are characters like Sirius Black (pureblood), Marlene McKinnon (pureblood), Peter (pureblood and very manipulative to use as a lapdog). Plus Lily Evans (who is not a pureblood but was spared because of Snape. He begged his master to let Lily be included in this new world) All of them with their memories wiped out, and new lives and personalities created for them. They are told that savages out there are dangerous. They live a comfortable life of rich people. Bellatrix is the public figure of this system, like the president. With Voldemort being the mastermind from behind.

Outside the dome, are the ones who know the truth. The rebels and survivors. James Potter, is the leader of the resistance. He was captured to be inside the dome but managed to escape before they brainwashed him. Remus, obviously considered not worth it for being a werewolf, but wanted to be killed. Mary, a muggleborn. And I am thinking other characters like Emmeline Vance and other characters from the original Order. They don't know what is inside the dome, they think at first that death eaters were torturing their friends.

Regulus is obviously selected to be inside the dome but at some point he wakes up and acts like a double agent and a spy from inside to help the rebels and protect his brother. Regulus along with Dorcas and Barty are brainwashed to be guards which their job is protect the dome from savages and hunt them down. They are the only ones allowed outside the dome to hunt more savages. The government told them to look specifically for the ones from the resistance like James or Remus. Regulus keeps sparing their lives a lot because he knows the true of who they are.

James and Lily were a couple before the explosion. And were separated. Lily doesn't remember James or thinks he is a murderer. Snape invented the story that he was the one who killed her parents and he is dangerous. But inside of her, she feels something for him still and she cannot explain why she is curious about what's outside the dome. James, on the other hand, is crazy in love with Lily and wants to get inside the dome to rescue her. He knows the truth.

Also, after the explosion, nobody knows who is alive or not. Who is outside the dome or not. After months of looking for his friends, Remus finds James with his little group of rebels but he is told that Sirius is dead. Wolfstar wasn't a thing before the explosion like Jily. But Remus loved Sirius in secret and never dared to tell him about his feelings. He griefs Sirius and wants revenge for his supposed dead. James doesn't lose hope that Sirius is alive somewhere inside the dome. He has hope that he can get his friends back.

So the story is the confrontation from the ones inside the dome lead by Voldemort, and how some of them start waking up. They don't understand why they feel things for those savages and why they provoke things on them without knowing they are actually their friends or lovers. Especially Lily and Sirius who feel things for James and Remus respectively and are confused because they shouldn't, they are dirty savages, aren't they?

And the other side of rebels resisting, surviving while they can with plans to get inside, discover what is inside and rescue their friends, make them wake up and realize who they really are. Of course led by Albus Dumbledore himself.

meanwhile in the background, cass and jason are having yet another violent ideological debate about the meaning of batman (aka jason tries to off someone or starts monologuing about how batman should kill, and cass hunts him down with extreme prejudice and kicks the everliving shit out of him.)

Reminiscing on how things were, before it eventually led to this...

Hey surprise, I've actually been properly writing a fic for my 8 year old ORAS au akdjhfskjadshfkjds (which from now on, everything involved with it will be tagged as "delta emerald au")!

I don't want to say too much to spoil the fic, but I will say how a major aspect is it involves May being the adopted daughter of Archie and Maxie, and how she doesn't exactly take them breaking up all that well...

Guys I'm having such a bizarre moment. I didn't expect to win like this, or to have my personal headcanons be confirmed so directly, but I also feel simultaneously robbed because Akutami is reaching into my head /jk

We received so little about Sukuna, but those brief brief brieeef moments of existentialism really caught me and I've thought about him for so long because of it. He was a fantastically terrifying villain, but there was always that dissonance there, between some of his words and actions, that portrayed that aimless longing and hurt and what that meant as a characterization point, and I'm honestly so hyped we turn around and get this in 271:

Y'all I started my draft for my Sukuna Reincarnation AU months ago and I never expected canon to validate me. They leave it easier and more open-ended, of course, but I'm coming on the record to say I wasn't crazy for my stretch of a character exploration and also I called it.

I won't go into the specifics of my "study Sukuna like a cockroach" notes now I just wanted to come grab the mic and announce that I beat Akutami to it >:D /lh

I'm being a good noodle and not stretching myself thin by starting a new multichap now, but I've had With the Storm in the works since January, and in light of the end of JJK and this lovely little tidbit, I'm tossing a sneak-peak from Chapter 7 because why not:

But maybe it could be. Maybe, just maybe, Uraume could accept this proffered hand and continue to hope.

Yet… things were different now. Things changed. Uraume changed, Sukuna changed, and even though they were still themselves, there was a myriad of shifts that piled on their shoulders until something gave way. Maybe a subconscious part of Uraume had braced for that to be a crash, but instead, Sukuna had been nothing but accepting and open. It only made them more nervous about losing him, just as they feared losing Pops. Uraume was not used to wanting, or hoping, but there was a powerful need in their chest that childishly demanded that they should get to keep both their kinder father and this happier Sukuna close, even if that may not be possible.

They nodded, not trusting their words at the moment, and Sukuna relaxed slightly.

“Good. Though that reminds me… You never really answered my first question. What do you want to do? With this life, I mean.”

There was that want again. Uraume felt the pull at their lungs until it was unbearable. They knew what he was asking; the question didn’t hinge on his involvement anymore, just them. Sukuna said he wanted to live peacefully, so what, then, was Uraume’s answer?

As much as they felt like a coward saying this, maybe that was okay. Sukuna felt the same way, after all. “I like this life too…” Uraume answered, and it was very different saying those words aloud. “Pops isn’t a shaman at all, and he’s good company and a good father. If I wasn’t able to find you, or you were not of this world, then… I would stay as his family.”

“That’s good,” Sukuna agreed, lifting yet another anxious weight from their chest. “I get that. Nobody else in my family are shamans either—at least, not really—and they’re all good people. It’s a good life, and even though I would have never expected it… I don’t want to lose it.”

It was amazing how similar they were, then and now. Uraume…really shouldn’t have worried about a lack of understanding. Sukuna didn’t have to say it, but it was clear that their thoughts had wandered down a similar road yet again. Their families, full of normal people living normal lives, were an unexpected treasure; to willingly become a monster, to become a scourge upon the world for whatever reason, would forfeit that. More than that, having people to care about made the desire to spread destruction lessen, rather significantly. Maybe that hurt and rage and bitterness was still there, in between their ribs, but in the ones that were dead and buried—a part of them, but also not quite there anymore, like when a scar ceases to constantly itch and ache and becomes only a mark on functioning skin.

They didn’t have to be monsters anymore. There were calmer, kinder things available to want—available to receive, even.

“This is so weird,” Uraume blurted, staring at their small hands and thinking of the strange miracle their lives turned into.

Sukuna barked a quick laugh before it was muffled into something like a snicker. “I know, right?” He leaned back in a stretch, his face catching the sun and lighting him in something that wasn’t a fire, but equally bright. “It’s not bad though.”

It was weird, to be a child, to be without some far-off goal, to be loved and happy, in the sense that it was absurd and foreign and absolutely unexpected. It was a breath of fresh air after years and years of having frozen lungs. Weird, surprising, but unmistakably good after so long of believing that no such term, deceptively simple, could have ever been applicable.

“Not bad at all,” Uraume agreed, a bright and blooming thing in their chest as their life began to slot into a new place. Still open-ended and perhaps a little terrifying for it, but Pops accepted them, and Sukuna accepted them, so maybe they could truly accept themself now, and whatever that will look like.

Lin Beifong - Villain AU

I got the idea from @hummingintheback, this is what I have in mind.

She started plotting her revenge when she met her dad who told her that she was a mistake and he didn't want anything to do with her or her mom. " I was surprised that your mom didn't go through the, you know... the procedure" his exact words

Unlocked her Lavabending after killing her father (He's a Fire bender)

She continued to be Chief of Police while she plotted her sweet revenge because it's the perfect cover and no one would suspect a thing. It also gave her access to all the prison and the information/records from the previous enemies.

She also enhanced Zaheer's Metallic poison, Hiroshi/ Kuvira's mech, and even Guan's brainwashing machine in secret. She used the Sato mansion as a hideout.

She's cunning and manipulative.

She's overpowered and she knows it.

Her goal is to destroy anyone and everything that made her life miserable.

After killing everyone and bringing chaos to her timeline, she plans to ruin other Alternate universes that exist, especially the ones where her counterpart is happy.

I really love this Villain AU idea~
