Twins with Raph, they were separated on the day of their mutation

Has been trained and raised by Draxum as a soldier

Spent a few years working for Big Mama before reuniting with her family

She's the oldest of the turtles that were mutated by Draxum

Before she joined the Hamato Clan, she believed Splinter manipulated her brothers to turn against Draxum

Jenni Info:

Was found by the Foot Clan at age four and was trained to be part of Karai's team

Looks up to Karai like her big sister

Was a human before being mutated into a turtle

An injury almost caused her to die and Mikey gave her his blood to save her, this mutated her into a turtle

Mikey likes to say that this makes them twins now

First ever piece of digital art! I’m sure I’ll look back on this after I actually figure out what I’m doing and think it’s super cringe, but right now I’m pretty happy with it. I had a lot of fun and learned a bunch of new things.

Anyways, tada! I introduce to you In This Together au Venus! Bishop escaped with her during the fall of TCRI. She grew up living off the land in abandoned farm house they found and was homeschooled by Bishop who she calls dad.

Curious and rather quiet

Spends a lot of time in her own world

Legit zero social skills since she grew up with no one around but an alien psyborge, but she’s kind and thoughtful by nature as well as very observant

No filter though, this kid will ask the weirdest and/or most personal questions with no concept of ‘some people are closer than others and you can’t just ask people you barely know those kinds of things’

Isn’t actually autistic but might come off that way having never had the opportunity to learn social ques or body language

Might be the only mutant in the world who has no problem being a mutant since she grew up away from all the hatred from humans and knows she was intentionally and lovingly designed by Bishop

Honestly, I think it’s hillarious that they all fit right there so neatly. Leon’s being his classic leader of the team self, having an aweful time, and holding himself accountable for that. Raph wants to see the world burn. Casey has so many misdirected emotions it’s a complete catastrophe. Don isn’t quite sure what to think about life right now, but he got himself into this mess and he’s gonna figure it out. Angelo’s a little shit that loves causing chaos. Candy isn’t sure who’s side she’s on so she’s just gonna cause problems for all of them. Karai is out here being a bad bitch who don’t need anybody else. April is raging against the machine. And Venus is having the time of her life pestering everyone with drastically more questions than they have answers to, like the unabashed youngest sibling she is.

(I love my little traumatized children. Please ask questions about them. I could talk about them all day long.)

Explanation below the pic

So this is what I'm imagining. Future raph joins the police at first as an off the books bounty hunter. Enough to live comfortably and put vee through school. He then joins the force full time with casey, alopex, and Dr Rockwell. Rockwell is useful for interrogation. All of them work as a sort of mutant police force. Bacicly think SVU and Chicago PD. That's the kinda stuff they do and how it connects to Chicago PD because after Tiger Claws truce, he leaves for Chicago.

So, vees science teacher who's usually energetic was acting strange, and she's trying to figure out why. She and her friend bugged his desk, which led them to over hearing a murder. Vee then calls her dad then 911. She tells her dad everything she did and heard.

Dunno what I'm doing with this. I guess we'll find out.

On Ashe Jacobson’s Twitter there’s a Rise animatic that uses audio from Park and Rec as a slight joke about how Ben Schwartz worked on both shows

Leo: I’m going to tell you something that I once heard from a very, very smart woman named Kim

Donnie: The lady who waxes you?

And something fun that was in the replies is that there was actually a reference to Venus

I found the reference to Venus kind of funny because if you take the theory that the Rise version of Venus is Big Mama’s Assistant then Leo talking about Venus then same way Jean Ralphio talks about his sister (calling them ‘the worst’) then that paints a picture of Leo holding a grudge against Venus for working with Big Mama similar to how he holds a grudge against Draxum for throwing him off a roof
