Little notes:

They all have their color somewhere close to their head like their masks. This has no practical  purpose.

Lav(oc) was mutated later on with scrounged up ooze, her transformation took longer than her siblings and thus was tossed out. She promptly transformed just after she was thrown out and lived in an orphanage until the start of the rise series. She likes pink

Mikey has a jellyfish hair cut! He puts a lot of hair pins in his hair.

Jennika is former Foot. She was mutated by a oozequito and Casey thought it best she be with the turtles. This happens after Casey begins her cookie empire. She still visits on neutral ground

Leo is the youngest of the triplets (L,V,D). He chews on the ends of his ribbons most the time when he’s not yapping endlessly

Venus has a mullet, she’s a former champion of Big Mama. She prefers the turtles over big mama

Donnie is shorter than Venus and Leo but wears straight up massive shoes. He’s not height insecure, he just wants to be as far away from the dirty NYC street as possible

Raph is still massive but he’s Raph :) he has a bunch of cute pins on his bag and he keeps snacks inside.

April goes back and forth between 1 poof and 2 poof. But she always ties the ribbon to hang off her left side.

Does Kirby ever interact with Big Mama?

not. directly, no.

Big Mama didn't know about Kirby until Leo enrolled them into a Hidden City school (woman has connections), but she didn't make a move until they both moved in with Kōya, who works for her

she and Leo had a talk (a very tense one), and she expressed her sadness in that she has not properly met her "wee little grandbaby" yet, and Leo basically tells her that he's not introducing KIrby to her no matter what. he doesn't want her anywhere near them and doesn't want her to try and approach them for whatever reason

Big Mama decided to agree to her favorite turtlely-boo's rules (for once). but she did find a little loophole:

I always liked the thought of the Rise iteration of Venus being a young sweet kid who is still trying to learn from the world around her.

I’ve decided she would be a Chinese Three-Striped Box Turtle. This species is currently endangered and was brought to New York by a man who moved from China. A little bit after the guy moved in his turltle suddenly mutated and BOOM he got Venus, the girl he treats like his daughter.

She doesn't speak english well and is still currently learning, but she is more fluent in Chinese.

Anyways idk I might do more with her but tell me what you think!

Hello Rise fandom - I present my version of Venus!! For the past few weeks I've been absolutely obsessed with the lost sisters, so I finally decided to make my own versions of them. Decided to start with Big Mama's Assistant and I'll get around to the other lost sister in a few weeks 🐢 👀

I based Venus largely off her NM and IDW looks with a bit of Jennika thrown in for fun. Tried to stick as close to her canon look as Big Mama's Assistant as possible while giving my own spin to her. This is how imagine her to look once reunited with her family! So here's a lil more info on Venus...

Venus is ofc the sister raised by Big Mama who became her Assistant. The night of the mutation, Venus got caught up in an explosion in Draxum's lab which led to her getting injured. When Big Mama finds her, she gets the little turtle help but Venus nonetheless becomes a double amputee. And Big Mama is still a little sentimental about Lou - she thinks about how much he loved art because of his mother, and sees the turtle as her own little treasure and so names her after the Venus de Milo. There's much more to her backstory than that but - spoilers! You'll have to check out my fic for more (and I've already spoiled more here than I've revealed on AO3 oops lol). But here's a few more facts about her!

I've decided that the Disaster Twins are actually a trio - surprise! Leo, Donnie, and Venus are the Disaster Triplets because I just find it adorable and she just gives me such middle child energy tbh.

Venus' ninpo is very much tied to her amputation and weapons. She can manifest constructs of her arms, similar to Raph being able to copy himself. But she can also teleport those constructs around and use copies of her kaiken as well, kinda like Leo and his swords. As you can see on her character sheet, her ninpo manifests as flower petals! This is because I really wanted her to take after her grandmother aka Splinter's mom, Atsuko - thus the petals, and also where I got the shape of her eyes.

Also her favorite parent is absolutely Draxum and yes it drives Splinter up a wall, in particular because of how much Venus reminds him of his mother.
