When I was 10, my mother sat me down and read me this poem. I didn't understand it much back then. Sitting and serving in ceremony over the weekend, 17 years later, I was lead back to this poem. It sums up all of what I've learned in my life so far 😌❤✨ Thank you, Mother 🙏 So beautiful, and true... and now I pass it on to you. . ✨Comes The Dawn✨ . After a while you learn the subtle difference Between holding a hand and chaining a soul. And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning And company doesn’t mean security. . LA loves, I don't normally go out of my way to do foodie posts but @littlepinerestaurant has the most amazing food. Some of the best food my body has experienced, you can feel the love and tenderness in the preparation of the food. Their brunch is especially amazing and masterful, and quite decently priced for the quality. Even the way they present the food is with reverence. You must experience it for yourself. Caprese salad, melt in your mouth risotto balls, lemony-buttery scallopini, trumpet mushroom scallops (like wow), a heavenly banana cream pie, rich and creamy biscuits and sausage gravy, and a generous flaky, buttery, chocolatey croissant (haven't had those in a while). Their lattes are amazing too.
