Why Not...

I took a little road trip to the Grand Teton area in Wyoming, right in the path of totality for the solar eclipse. While the eclipse itself was obviously staggering, and breathtaking, the camping was the highlight for me. Falling asleep to the sound of a stream that ran right through camp, being awoken from a disturbing dream by the soothing conversation between two great horned owls, and getting some of the best sleep I’ve had in months while lying on the ground, sharing a tent with bugs and twigs. Taking my morning coffee, which always tastes infinitely better in the mountains, climbing onto a boulder that rested in the stream and just sitting in silence, watching the morning light flirt with the rushing water. The simplicity, and the simultaneous depth, that living outside creates, is a tincture for the bruises inflicted by society’s demands and opinions.

Kritika jedan: miči dupe.

Kad ste se zadnji put prošetali, onako iz fore? Kad ste zadnji put išli u šumu, pored mora ili na livadu s ciljem da šećete i upijate viziju prirode? E, u tome i leži riješenje, ali čekaj, nije još završeno. 

Kad ste zadnji put bili s nekime na kavi s kime ne časkate o tuđim životima? Quality time kažeš? Zamislite da izađete s nekime, i samo slušate što ta osoba govori, on je voditelj teme i vrši neki monolog. Govori o svojim iskustvima, svojim hobijima, nekim stajalištima i tako dalje, ugl. Pametne teme. Niste se naslušali govana o nekom drugom, nego upoznajete čovjeka koji vam pravi društvo dok pijuckate kavu. Kakav je osjećaj?

Kad ste zadnji put radili neke hobijske aktivnosti? Što god te pali, bilo to slaganje kocki, pisanje, šivanje ili sviranje instrumenata.. Samo da nije drogiranje, alkoholizam ili seks.. To nije hobi nego strast, a strasti treba granica. 

Poanta je posvećivanje vremena nečemu što za vas ima neko značenje . Nečemu što vas opušta.. Nekoć su to bile bojanke za odrasle i križaljke. Cilj je napraviti nešto što vam pruža psihičko osvježenje, a da ima minimalnog čeprkanja po društvenim mrežama iz dosade. Razvimo neki interes koji nas opušta i minimalno umara naše oči.

Za sad imamo tri primjera; aktivnosti, međuljudski odnosi i hobijske aktivnosti. Ima još dosta za pisat o njima, no kako je ovo Tumblr, ne vjerujem da ima smisla pisat stranicu koja se čita duže od 10 min. Daljnje ideje ostavljam za neki drugi dan.
