some vegan points i agree with but the leather stand is straight up retarded noooo don't buy vintage leather/fur that's out of use currently and will last you a lifetime and the next generation too, buy cheap plastic instead every year because it breaks down and stops being functional constantly and didn't even work to begin with and contribute to landfills and ultimately mass species extinction and climate change, that will somehow save the animals
#i genuinely think the sustainability/eco movement and the vegan movement clash in a lot of ways atp#well i also don't agree with not eating meat which is the essential part of veganism lawl but you can do it in some ways that are less#harmful for sure both for the environment and the animals#if you make me go plant based i'll feel like a miserable dog forced to eat vegan instead of enjoying a nice bone#>no but we need to sacrifice our health now that we know better and are to blame for farma#farms*#<- genuine vegan argument i have seen#vegan non edible products i prefer though testing on animals is stupid as hell literal torture and it's not even effective in any way

y'all ever have that piece of media that you genuinely really love and it's got a huge active fanbase for it and everything but you can't really engage with the fandom at all because your experience with it was so so different than what other people are posting about
#literally no hate just can't relate at all#but like the core aspects of the storylines i roleplayed are just... not how most other people interpreted the game#this is botw and disco elysium. to me#i do not care about zelink#my link (& me irl) fully expected to come across a 117-year old zelda as an old woman#all decked out in weapons fighting ganon in the castle#& had roleplayed my link so he would keep k*lling himself just to see his dead fiance again#and was actually rather clumsy as a swordsman and felt he could never live up to his past self#who was essentially a dead alter to him#my link didnt even know what a bird was. or a lizard#roleplayed him as vegan bc he didnt know who/what counted as a “citizen of hyrule”#first playthrough was 250+ hours before i fought ganondorf for the first time#i took that man on an odyssey. made him visit each of the divine beasts in prayer before the final battle#also disco elysium#i missed major portions of the game that im fine with missing#i have no fucking clue what the pale is.#i dont give a shit about jean viqumare or whoever he is#i am not a kimharry shipper#core story was my harry was so so desperate to not resemble the thing he was before he lost his memory. or even find out who he was#and was shattered whenever bits of his personality came through#i did one playthrough of that game and emerged very satisfied with how it went down#not much desire to do another playthrough#loz#de

Introduction: In recent years, veganism has become more than just a dietary choice; it has become a movement for positive change. People all over the world are embracing a vegan lifestyle not only for their health but also for the environment and animal welfare. Let's explore the impact of positive change veganism and why it has become a powerful force for good.

What is Positive Change Veganism? Positive change veganism is not just about what you eat; it's a holistic approach to living that aims to make a positive impact on the world. It goes beyond avoiding animal products and focuses on promoting sustainability, compassion, and social justice. By choosing to live a vegan lifestyle, individuals can reduce their carbon footprint, support ethical treatment of animals, and improve their own health.
How Does Positive Change Veganism Make a Difference? Positive change veganism has the power to create a ripple effect of positive change in the world. By reducing the demand for animal products, vegans can help lessen the environmental impact of factory farming, which is a leading cause of deforestation, water pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, choosing plant-based foods can help alleviate world hunger by using resources more efficiently and ethically.
Benefits of Positive Change Veganism:
Improved health: A plant-based diet has been shown to lower the risk of many chronic diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
Environmental preservation: By reducing our reliance on animal agriculture, we can help protect the planet for future generations.
Animal welfare: Choosing not to support industries that exploit animals can help reduce suffering and promote compassion.
Social justice: Many communities around the world are disproportionately affected by the negative impacts of animal agriculture, such as pollution and food insecurity. Positive change veganism can help address these injustices.
How Can Individuals Embrace Positive Change Veganism? Making the switch to a vegan lifestyle doesn't have to be daunting. There are many resources available to help individuals transition to a plant-based diet, including cookbooks, meal plans, and online support groups. By starting with small changes and gradually incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet, you can make a positive impact on your health and the world around you.
Conclusion: Positive change veganism is not just a trend; it's a movement that is gaining momentum around the world. By choosing to live a vegan lifestyle, individuals can make a positive impact on their health, the environment, and animal welfare. Whether you're motivated by health, ethics, or environmental concerns, embracing positive change veganism is a powerful way to contribute to a better world for all. Start today and join the growing community of compassionate and conscious consumers who are making a difference one meal at a time.

Theories on the Philosophy of Food
The philosophy of food is a multidisciplinary field that explores the various philosophical dimensions related to food, eating, and culinary practices. It delves into questions about the ethical, cultural, environmental, and existential aspects of food production, consumption, and distribution. Philosophers examine topics such as the ethics of food choices, the cultural significance of cuisine, the environmental impact of food systems, the aesthetics of food preparation, and the relationship between food and identity. Additionally, the philosophy of food considers broader issues such as hunger, food justice, food sovereignty, and the role of food in shaping human societies and relationships.
The philosophy of food encompasses various theories and perspectives that explore the ethical, cultural, and existential dimensions of food. Some of the prominent theories in this field include:
Gastronomic Essentialism: This theory posits that certain foods or culinary traditions possess inherent qualities or essences that make them valuable or meaningful. It emphasizes the authenticity and uniqueness of different cuisines and ingredients, highlighting the importance of preserving culinary traditions.
Food Ethics: Food ethics examines the moral principles and values that guide our food-related decisions and behaviors. It addresses questions about the ethical treatment of animals, environmental sustainability, food justice, and fair trade practices. Food ethics theories aim to promote ethical consumption practices and address ethical dilemmas in food production and distribution.
Slow Food Movement: The Slow Food movement advocates for a more mindful and sustainable approach to food consumption. It emphasizes the importance of local and traditional food cultures, promotes biodiversity in agriculture, and encourages people to savor and appreciate the pleasures of eating. Slow Food philosophy emphasizes the connection between food, culture, and the environment.
Veganism and Vegetarianism: Veganism and vegetarianism are dietary practices based on ethical, environmental, or health-related principles. Veganism advocates for the complete avoidance of animal products, while vegetarianism typically involves abstaining from meat but may include other animal products such as dairy and eggs. These dietary philosophies often stem from concerns about animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and personal health.
Commensality: Commensality refers to the social and cultural significance of sharing meals together. This theory explores the rituals, symbols, and meanings associated with communal eating experiences. Commensality emphasizes the role of food in fostering social bonds, strengthening community ties, and promoting cultural identity.
Molecular Gastronomy: Molecular gastronomy is a scientific approach to cooking that explores the physical and chemical processes behind food preparation. This theory investigates the interplay between taste, texture, and aroma, using techniques such as sous vide, foams, and spherification to create innovative culinary experiences. Molecular gastronomy challenges traditional notions of cooking and gastronomic aesthetics, pushing the boundaries of culinary artistry.
Food as Art: The concept of food as art explores the aesthetic dimensions of culinary creation and consumption. This theory considers food preparation and presentation as artistic expressions, akin to painting, sculpture, or music. It highlights the creativity, craftsmanship, and sensory pleasure involved in culinary endeavors, viewing food as a medium for artistic expression and cultural communication.
These are just a few examples of the diverse theories within the philosophy of food, each offering unique perspectives on the cultural, ethical, and existential significance of food in human life.

honeybee discourse is on this website truly is something “bees are unionized! honey is local” the types of bees that produce honey in that much excess such that it’s not straight up starving them when people take it are native to very few places on earth and the fact that they’re this widespread to give people Viscous Sugar Fluid has been detrimental to the populations of native pollinator species many of whom don’t even produce honey :) that impact on their resources and populations has downstream effects on agriculture and the environment :))
#apparently the buffalo run used to essentially be a mass pollinating even#until the railroad :) of course#but dw guys it says Local Canadian Honey#made by uhh. The Japanese Honeybee :) they’re Unionized tm#like regardless of how u feel about the vegan arguments against honey . the environment stuff would still suggest perhaps to not use it#my posts
