akito naturally has pink lips, and he noticed that ena has a lipstick that is identical to his lip colour that she never wears (for that exact reason) so he likes to "borrow" it when hanging out with vbs to see how long it takes them to notice. toya clocks it immediately but never points it out, once an noticed the stain on his cup she was hyper aware of it and kohane... unfortunately it took kohane seeing the pink kiss in the dead centre of her forehead when checking her mirror at home for her to realise what he'd been doing. akito had been up to his shenanigans for at least 2 weeks at this point, none of them expected it from him. (this was supposed to be platonic but like fuck it vivid bad polycule)

VBS music headcanons

Kohane was 100% a radio listener until she joined vbs. After that she really got into music similar to what the group makes. She’s has a lot less experience than her teammates, and she feels like she has to make up for it in some way. She loves to draw direct inspiration from the music she listens to, letting it give her ideas to share with the group.

An will listen to anything with a solid beat behind it. Whether it’s metal, or country, or foreign language tunes, or just good old j-pop, she’ll add it to her playlist as long as she can nod her head along to the beat. She’ll listen to any genre but she cannot listen to calm music for the life of her. She’ll be dramatically looking out the bus window blaring rock music like there’s no tomorrow.

Akito mmj enjoyer. He’s always been a secret fan of the fun, upbeat nature of idol songs, and he really likes the way mmj’s voices mix together in particular. He never posts his Spotify wrapped because he’s in their top 0.1% of listeners and they’re his #1 artist by a mile.

Toya initially wanted to distance himself from classical music as much as possible, but things changed when he realized he could fuse his past knowledge with the music he currently makes. He loves listening to any kind of street music that doesn’t rely on bass and tech beats, but instead uses strings and keyboard to create the melody. There’s also a very special place in his heart for artists that rap over classical music.

tiny kohane with a hooded hamster blanket... she goes around EVERYWHERE with it. she also has a hamster plush who has a matching blanket (an asked mizuki to make it for her as a birthday present!) the two of them are inseparable- Hamlet has to go wherever she goes. when she's big they sometimes gently tease her for bringing him along- whether big or small, hamsters are her biggest comfort.

although a rare occasion, after crying toya goes all emotionally numb (and gets a headache (projection 100%)). whenever the people around him notice he’s a liiiittle more monotone and deadpan than usual they do what they can to cheer him up

most times vbs will just invite him to sing. they acknowledge that toya’s singing won’t be at its fullest when they start; despite this they give all they have and absolutely light up when they start hearing the emotion enter his voice again

the tenmas will put on an impromptu show for him. these often include heinous amounts of audience (toya) participation

mizuki notices that she does a lot of talking when they’re together so instead she encourages him to talk about the latest book he’s reading. he’ll start slowly while pausing without meaning to, but after a little encouragement from mizuki it turns into a full on ramble (mizuki regrets this only slightly)

i get asked this a lot! funnily enough i can never fully explain how he sounds to me, but the closest i've ever gotten is the man in the vault-tec promotional ads/commercials for fo3 :) for some reason i cant find who this guy is, does anypony know...
