Crowley and Aziraphale don't need a quiet retirement in the countryside.
What they really need is for their South Downs cottage to be part of an HOA and spend the rest of their existences facing a common enemy of powertripping geriatric citizens and nosy neighbours.
I want 10 seasons of Crowley's plans for a carnivorous garden being turned down and him going scorched earth on the head of the HOA comittees' award winning Dhalia patch. I want 10 seasons of Aziraphale sniffing out HOA policy loopholes like a truffle pig or maliciously complying when he can't get out of something.
#fuck a plot this is all I want#like you think the HOAs gonna let them paint the cottage Vavoom Yellow? ERCH WRONG#good omens#aziracrow#crowley#aziraphale#south downs cottage

Thoughts on my second watch of Good Omens 2
i heard the fly buzzing in my first watch but didn’t know why and now i know
Maggie my sweet darling angel baby i love you
Aziraphale turning their car yellow
crowleys “no more dying” in extreme scottish.
Disposable Demon i’ll save you from these awful people i promise 😭
Aziraphale’s little smile when he says “smitten” to Crowley
i wonder if crowley was especially hurt because aziraphale seemed to be able to forgive gabriel who tried to kill him but can’t seem to forgive him being a demon.(still seeing all of this as a metaphor for internalized homophobia, like aziraphale knows he’s not the perfect angel he wants to be and he’s projecting his feelings about that onto crowley)
I can’t believe we got an actual ball. like pride and prejudice, bridgerton ball.
the beautiful score that started playing when aziraphale brought the chandelier down
i didn’t even realize that when they walked in the outfits changed. mrs sandwich made me realize(also i love her)
Nina being the only one to question the weird magical shit Aziraphale and Crowley do sends me so bad.
Season 2 took everything i liked about the first season (aziracrow, queer subtext, gay people, archangels, and beelzebub) and expanded on it
The adorable smile on Aziraphales face when he asked Crowley to dance 😭 he’s so pure(i should have known something was up, everything was going too well)
Crowley saying i won’t leave you on your own and Aziraphale saying i know 🤒
why isn’t aziraphale able to miracle nina and maggie??
crowley and mrs sandwich flirting. too cute
crowley saying he’s neither nice nor a lad.
crowleys little run in heaven when he’s following muriel
maggie giving the middle finger to the demons and laughing in their face when they tried to belittle her. queen
defensive aziraphale is so badass. just because he’s soft doesn’t mean he can’t stand up for himself or the people he loves
the random guitar solo in the final episode theme is so bizarre to me. why is it there?
ahh the raining hearts symbolizing crowleys vavoom plan!
crowley’s heavenly outfit not being white but “light grey”
the relief in aziraphale’s voice when crowley came back 😀
also him mumbling about the halo like he did with the sword 😭 but he sure loves to boast about the things he’s done right to crowley
aziraphale and crowley doing magic together has the power to set off alarm bells in heaven and they barely tried, they’re just in sync
saraqael was such a good addition to the cast.
crowley smiling at aziraphale going off on the angels and demons
“where beelzebub is, is my Heaven.” 🥹
the little knowing look after crowley mentions alpha centauri
the way they just interrupted michael’s speech by leaving 😭
i think that aziraphale was about to ask crowley to move in but that’s my opinion
the look the metatron gave crowley is so strange. i don’t like that
“JUST US. NOT YOU.”
“You’re not helping, angel.”
the softness in aziraphale’s voice when he talked about making crowley an angel again? how can you hate him! he thought he was doing the right thing!
also the miscommunication these two have is completely out of hand because crowley asked aziraphale if he said no and aziraphale hadn’t given an answer AT ALL to the metatron. the metatron told him to take his time. he went back to tell crowley the news first.
crowleys confession makes my stomach hurt. the way his voice broke when he said “we’ve spent our existence pretending that we aren’t.”. the way he had to force himself past his anxiety to tell aziraphale he wanted to spend eternity with him? fuck.
the way aziraphale tells crowley to come with him. like and through all of this they are losing each other, oh my god.
“i need you!” god aziraphale punch me in the face next time why don’t you?
i feel like in all this anger towards aziraphale a lot of people are ignoring that he put himself out there too. he was telling crowley he needed him just like crowley was
“no nightingales.” FUCK YOU GAIMAN
the way aziraphale touched his lips after. dear GOD. someone get michael sheen an emmy
seeing aziraphale struggle against his wanting to kiss crowley back and his fear and wanting him to come back to heaven further supports my internalized homophobia analogy
also even knowing the kiss was going to happen because of the spoiler it still didn’t quell my shock. nor did it ruin the scene, i think it actually surprised me more because it did not happen how i thought it would.
side note i saw some people saying they thought the kiss was going to be a cop out in some way. like a body swap or as a joke and i don’t really know why?
it just occurred to me that both aziraphale and crowley thought the other one was just doing that thing they do where they say they won’t help, or they’re on their own but they eventually come back not knowing that the other was completely set on these plans they had. this wasn’t like armageddon or saving gabriel.
the second coming…of jesus…
crowley cutting off “a nightingale sang in berkeley square”...i’m gonna jump
this being the ending for the next 3-4 years. oh.

When Crowley is tending the bookshop while Aziraphale is in Edinburgh HE IS WEARING A CARDIGAN! It’s lightweight fabric and a tight fit but IT’S A CARDIGAN - beloved by fussy pedantic booksellers everywhere. 😁
It’s most clear in the scene at the window with Jim where he’s talking about getting Maggie and Nina together and says Vavoom! (Apologies for the crappy photo above.)
He also has some strange bands on over the sleeves at his biceps. My guess is that they’re something Aziraphale wore a century or more ago to keep his sleeves out of the ink when he was writing at his desk without rolling them up and creating a lump. I know they had faux sleeves with elastic at both ends to put on over your sleeves for that purpose. If this is the case
HE’S BASICALLY COSPLAYING AS AZIRAPHALE!
Or as much as one can Cosplay Aziraphale while wearing all black and skin tight clothing. He does have standards!
And while he’s doing this Aziraphale is in Edinburgh cosplaying as a reporter. 😁
I’m not sure what the yellow Bentley is cosplaying as.
ETA much better pic of the cardigan under his suit jacket:

Two Crowleys
A while ago, the wonderful mind of @noneorother posted this meta about the puppets in the magic shop.
The observation that there appear to be two Crowleys in the shot of the puppet arrangement had me absolutely scratching my head and thinking they must be mistaken somehow.
(pic from @noneorother)
But then I got my hands on some of the Amazon X-ray extras, and discovered these little gems from the album covers in Maggie's record shop:
Now, going back to our color-coding for a moment, we may not know what all the colors in Good Omens mean, and we may not have all the colors down. But we do know a few, and we know that color-coding in Good Omens does exist, and that it matters.
Auburn and vavoom yellow are Crowley's colors. They are the colors of his hair and eyes. Black and scarlet red are the colors he wears. So those four colors are Crowley-coded colors. Okay.
Thus, these two record albums from Maggie's shop are Crowley-colored. Now, notice something important? Well, two things. The first -- Raga Koboj has TWO little sharp-clawed critters peering out at us from behind blinds. I daresay they are meant to be little cartoon demons, yes? And CT Bazz: Dank Balaclava features a face in a red ski mask. People usually wear ski masks if A. it's cold as tits outside, or B. if they're trying to hide their identity. So both albums feature Crowley colors AND images of hiding -- plus one features an image of twinsies.
The other important thing takes us back to color-coding. What other color do we see here besides our well-known Crowley colors? On Raga Koboj, the auburn and vavoom yellow blend into each other -- creating orange between them. And Dank Balaclava features a cigarette being lit -- with a little flair of orange fire.
(Edit to add: The name of that first album is Raga Koboj, which is a style of Indian music. A very famous tale in India is of the Warrior Goddess Kahli fighting demons who kept replicating themselves. Every time a drop of blood would hit the ground, a new demon would spring up. She went on a rampage trying to destroy them all, and her husband had to throw himself in her path to stop her. Hmm . . .)
This leads me to believe two things: Yes, TWO Crowleys. One Crowley in hiding, the other a twin. And that orange is Crowley's secret color.
Where else do we see orange?
Yep, the pillars in Aziraphale's shop. Which we also know is painted Crowley Auburn on the outside and Vavoom Yellow on the inside. With accents of this nice saffron orange on the pillars.
Want more proof? Okay.
Several people have noted that Aziraphale and Crowley keep to each other's right and left, respectively. Aziraphale on the right, Crowley on the left. In season 1, whenever they are on the opposite sides of each other, something's up. Not wrong, necessarily, but not in proper order. As in the image-swap/body-swap. Several people have also noted that Crowley is on Aziraphale's right far more frequently in season 2. And look here:
Aziraphale looks instinctively to his left when Crowley approaches -- only this Crowley, the twin, is not approaching on Aziraphale's left. This happens in more than one scene.
And when Aziraphale introduces Crowley to Nina in the coffee shop in episode one, he says, "This is, um, Crowley." As if he's quickly deciding how to name this individual who looks like his demon but approached on his right. Aziraphale "ums" and hesitates a lot this season, but he's also lying a lot. Hesitation and "um" is one of his tells.
I believe Aziraphale knows this isn't Crowley 1.0. But he acts and talks to this Crowley as if it's Crowley 1.0, so I don't think it's an imposter or someone pretending to be Crowley who isn't. I think Crowley's split himself in two. Am I sure about that? No. But it's where I'm leaning at this moment.
But Crowley 1.0 isn't missing entirely. Look here:
Aziraphale is looking over his left shoulder for his demon, and Crowley's right there, where he should be.
So yeah, TWO Crowleys.
Now where the heck is Crowley while his twin is out walking around on Aziraphale's right side? I really don't know what he might be up to, but I think he's in contact. Reachable, at least.
Let's look at this one again. Who's this?
No, not the guy in the foreground. The guy in the back. No, not the dude wearing tartan, the other guy. The guy in front of the ORANGE pillar, the guy on Crowley-twin's LEFT shoulder.
Is that Crowley 1.0? Or at least, a way for Crowley to be in touch while he's off doing whatever the heck he's doing? I think it is.
Would you like some more proof?
Okay. How about another record album from Maggie's shop?
Back to color-coding again. That baby-blue/red combo seems to indicate Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship together. The baby-blue is the color of Aziraphale's shirt, while the red is one that Crowley wears, mostly around his neck, although it also appears elsewhere in his costuming.
Au Revoir, Fingers! Crowley's just a head now. But a head has ears and eyes, so Aziraphale can communicate with it. As I suspect he tries to here, before Jim interrupts:
But wait. Back to Au Revoir Fingers for a moment. Red Eye Smile?
And red eyes? Fuck me.
A very few people have pointed out that there are lots of dual red taillights in multiple shots, frequently framed rather carefully. I had dismissed it, as I usually do when something turns out to be freaking important.
Someone's watching. I think it might be Crowley 1.0.
Then there's that bit where he's driving back to Whickber street, after coming back from Hell, and he first zooms around a bus with red taillights and says, "There's only room for one of us in this lane and it's not you," then he changes a pair of red stop lights to green and says "Don't you even think about it. There, that's better." Is he arguing with himself?? Telling the Other Crowley that it's his turn right now, not his? Of course I can't find a GIF or picture of that right now, but you know what I mean, right? Neil had to cut a bunch of material out of the finished show to fit Amazon's time limit requirements. That scene would seem to be an easy cut to make -- unless the scene matters to the overall plot too much to cut.
I also suspect that Crowley might be talking to himself in the book shop at the end of season 2. You know, when he turns Aziraphale's chair around to face the right way, but when Maggie and Nina come in it's facing the center of the room again? I suspect Crowley 1.0 and 2.0 had a chat. I do not know about what. Just sharing information?
I also wonder if Crowley 2.0 might have his own POV scenes -- thus confusing the already complicated POV situation even more. The white head statue sure gets several shots where it's in center frame, as if it is the POV character in that scene.
That's what I got, my fellow brain rotters. There's my evidence.
In conclusion: Two Crowleys. Yeah, I think so. Now, for the big question:
WHY???
What is Crowley doing that there needs to be two of him? And is it just twinsies, or is that someone else pretending to be Crowley and I'm wrong? Aziraphale definitely seems to know that's NOT his original Crowley, but tells the demon important information without hesitation, so I'm still suspecting Crowley twinned himself. But what if I'm wrong? Who is it then? And why are they pretending to be Crowley? And why does Aziraphale seem to know it's not Crowley, but still talk to him like it is?
I have no answers.
Thanks for crackpotting and going nuts with me, yet again. I hope this keeps you up at night like it's done me.

My friend read the book, watched the show and didn't know why they are called ineffable husbands too xD
Pt I good omens but i've never watched it
i've never seen good omens but it's all over my tumblr dash so this is what I've gathered can someone please confirm if i've got it right
there's a demon named crowley
there's a biblically inaccurate angel named aziraphale but like it's very sexy when the demon calls him 'angel'
the demon and angel have been married for 6000 years and they still keep looking at each other all sappily
Neil Gaiman is somehow involved, I think he's the writer but also he's on tumblr (uh, @neil-gaiman) and people keep questioning if he's real
is neil gaiman like a fandom inside joke why is everyone asking if he's real
there actors are called michael and david and amazon prime thought they were the same
there is a bookstore and crowley is sad
they kiss and it is very nice and desperate and crowley says we could have been us. i have no context for this. someone is going to heaven i think.
there is a god, i'm not sure if they're good or evil though
the demon wears sunglasses
it's a comedy but for some reason everyone's crying after whatever the last season was, are you guys okay
things are on fire
they are very gay
there was a book and at one point they switch bodies
more fire and crowley screaming
they are called ineffable husbands i dont know what that means
they fight crime or they do crime or they fight crime by doing crime i really cannot remember which
gay

Whose POV is it Anyway?
Bodysnatchers & Cosplaying a bookseller
DO NOT ASK NEIL ABOUT FAN THEORY
I'm back! I took a few days off of doing internet thingsss so I took a break from writing this series of posts but I'm back and continuing with episode 3 in its entirety!
For reference & context, I recommend reading these posts:
Whose POV is it Anyway? - Introduction
Lens Filters
POV "Your 'Something's Wrong' Voice"
POV a Trip to Hell and a 25 Lazarii Miracle
POV a Companion to Owls
POV The Dirty Donkey & I think I Found a *Clue*!
Shall we get cracking?
Episode 3 gifts us the arrival of Muriel! Sweet adorable Muriel! We see them arrive to the bookshop, with the Bronze Glimmer Glass filter in full effect. Aziraphale is the only one there so it makes sense we'll have Aziraphale's POV to start. Cupperteas ensue, and Crowley arrives to be grumpy but fully accepting that Aziraphale is taking their car, I mean, he's already brought the plants inside. His sideburns are long here as well.
When the duo head into the backroom to discuss what's going on, the filter changes, the lighting is much cooler toned, and we're now looking through the Black Diffusion FX filter in Crowley's POV. Crowley's sideburns are also short now, and if my theory that POV is also correlating with his hair length, it's standing here.
As Aziraphale drives off, we see Crowley watch him from the window and sigh, sideburns still short, still his POV.
I'm going to stick to the present day storyline and switch to the bodysnatchers minisode at the end!
The time Aziraphale and Crowley spend apart in this episode is interesting to say the least. If we're trying to look at the lighting and possible lens filters used to determine the narrator or POV for these scenes... I think they're switched!
When we see Aziraphale driving the Bentley, the scene isn't awash with glowy warm lighting which we know isn't reserved just to the bookshop since we've seen it used in the record shop, coffee shop, and in the Job flashback.
It's rather cool toned lighting for a yellow bentley. Aziraphale's whole trip to Edinburgh is cool toned. The time he spends in The Resurrectionist, the graveyard, everything. I would have expected Aziraphale's magical little newspaperman cosplaying extravaganza to be dripping in his golden glow through the gorgeous Edinburgh when I started thinking about the scenes and these lense filters and these metas.
But then you look at the opposite, Crowley alone in the bookshop with Jim. Something he would hate right? Sounds like worst case scenario for him. He loves the bookshop but he's there alone with Gabriel who tried to kill the person he loves more than anything and didn't have an ounce of compassion, while Aziraphale has taken himself and his car very far away.
But what is Crowley's experience like? He and Gabriel are chummy as ever, they talk about rainstorms, vavooming, gravity. Crowley dresses down and is wearing sleeve garters? A bit old fashioned for Crowley but not for Aziraphale no? He's playing bookseller, carrying books around, albeit not quite correctly, chucking them at the end. Every scene is drenched in warm golden haze and Crowley's sideburns are long the entire time.
They aren't together, but they've always probably got one thing on their mind...
I think we're seeing these scenes through each other's eyes, or the POV is swapped if you will. Maybe that's why Crowley is wearing sleeve garters and cosplaying bookseller and being very kind to Jim? And Aziraphale is being the worlds cutest little investigator to ever exist. I think maybe they're imagining each other, or it just points to the idea that they're apart but still the only thing they're always thinking about.
Okay, cute lovebomb, now let's talk digging up dead bodies!
There isn't a lot to go off of for lighting in this minisode, but there is one detail I wanted to point out that has to do with Crowley's hair length. In all locations BUT the crypt his mutton chops are longer. When they enter the crypt both times, they are shorter.
You can see they are a distinct "J" shape in most scenes but in the crypt scenes (for example when he drinks laudanum and busts through the roof) they have been trimmed back). So if I'm going just on hair length, all scenes except the crypt are Aziraphale's POV.
If you can look past my terrible image quality, you can see on the right image his chops are notched where on the left they're doing the opposite.

"Not Even At Gunpoint!"
Future Echoes of the Past #3
I didn't plan this meta. Well, maybe...just a tiny, weeny bit...I had been keeping a parallel in mind for a while...but not in this context. But it was kind of one of these moments:
Lets start at the beginning.
@beebopboom has been exploring the three magic tricks that appear in the S2 opening sequence recently, and speculating how the third one might appear in S3, and I've been exploring the paintball fight scene at Tadfield Manor in S1E2 and how that relates to the Great War in Heaven that formed Hell, and the events around the Fall. The two topics intersect, as you have echoes of the Bullet Catch magic trick from the 1941 minisode in S2E4 appearing not once but at least twice at Tadfield Manor.
But...then I realised, there's more than one pointed gun. Way more.
I'd always liked this throwback line from Crowley in S2E1, when Nina asks him if he is a bookseller as well:
Who would want to be a bookseller when this could happen to you?
Shadwell, turning up at the book shop in S1E4, disturbs Aziraphale contacting Heaven through the portal (a modified Solomon's magic circle) under the oculus, and breaks in to confront him. The historical implications of Aziraphale's lines here are that before homosexuality was decriminalized in the UK meeting places for such people were often disguised as respectable looking book shops. Which makes Nina's question in S2E1 and Crowley's denial to her all the more...loaded? Ah, well, you can't fool Nina, now, can you?
Anyway, mah point is...Shadwell literally has Aziraphale at gunpoint, er, fingerpoint here. Loaded fingerpoint.
But then, this isn't the first time Aziraphale has had a gun pointed at him. He had one pointed at him in the church in 1941 by the Nazi agent double-crossing Greta. His biggest fear, as always, isn't actually "dying," or standing in front of the guns, its the paperwork that he knows will go with getting a new body from the Ineffable Bureaucracy.
Crowley turns up to rescue him, because he "didn't want to see [him] embarrassed." With a bit of equivocation between the two of them, all the time while at gunpoint from Greta, they team up to save each other.
This was even before we got to the Bullet Catch - his "show stopper!"
Back to Tadfield Manor.
As they enter, Crowley is lined up in the crosshairs.
Er, wait a minute...
Only Crowley is shown this way here, not Aziraphale. He's a target. I'm starting to ask what point in time this is referring to - the present or the past? Both. Yeah, why not both! The work I did in this previous meta in this series showed that Crowley was considered a target for early removal by the other demons-to-be prior to the Fall.
Then they are both shot.
I pointed out Aziraphale gets shot by blue paint, representing Heaven, but its a colour we don't see used again by any one in the fighting to come. But what I didn't talk about was WHERE he got hit - in the back. That's synonymous with treachery. Heaven has stabbed Aziraphale in the back, so to speak. wow. Nice - not.
And Crowley? He gets hit in the heart - just like the Norman/Lucifer parallel on the Yellow Team does a short while later during his "fall" scene - with the red paint, betrayed by the Red Team who represent the management in Heaven.
Seems the Ineffable Bureaucracy wanted both them out of the way during the Great War...it get more and more interesting each time I look closer at it...
So was Aziraphale ever in the crosshairs? Yep.
And, as @vavoom-sorted-art points out, this is a time Aziraphale chooses to pick a weapon, and to fight. He didn't want the simple, safe deception trick with the ropes - he wanted a weapon. He really is much more the warrior than Crowley. Aziraphale, I think your nature as a principality is showing!
Firing that gun made Crowley sick to his stomach, and so did this metaphorical loaded gun - the Book of Life.
As soon as he found out from Beelzebub it was a real possibility of being played he went back to protect Aziraphale. Crowley hates fighting - watch how often he will try shut it down as quickly as possible or try to escape it when he can. To him everyone has free will, and the person picking the fight with the other is imposing their will on them. That's 'not on' in his books.
Aziraphale, on the other hand, is still reacting with his ingrained Heavenly instincts - that he should follow his morals because they are 'right,' and more sophisticated weapons add weight to the moral argument. He thinks. Maybe. (Yeah, keep working on that doubt, angel.)
Az: Impressive hardware. I've looked at this gun, its not a proper one at all. It just shoots paintballs. Cr: Don't your lot disapprove of guns? Az: Unless they're in the right hands. Then they give weight to a moral argument. I think. Cr: [laughing] A moral argument? Really? *tosses gun away* C'mon. [Heads into the Manor.] [later, after Crowley changes the paintball guns to real guns...] Az: But there are people out there shooting at each other! Cr: Well - Lends weight to their moral argument. Everyone has free will, including the right to murder. Just think of it as a microcosm of the universe.
I'll think I'll end this here and leave you with a small montage of the aftermath of all this gun play - everything going up in flames and smoke.
Bring on S3!
If you didn't follow the links in the meta, and want to read the first two in this series, they are here:

#2: The Newton/Crowley Mirror-Parallel in S1

I think a couple weeks ago I actually reblogged the meta @marauderingpaige is talking about. Don't remember the author, though. Probably @vidavalor ?
GO LOOK IT'S REALLY GOOD.
I love how Aziraphale is so taken with Crowley in The Flood scene that he is actively trying to avoid looking into his eyes... all while Crowley, equally besotted, keeps trying to meet Aziraphale's.
Especially when you consider S2's whole thing about rainstorm-adjacent eye contact...
We start with the one moment where their eyes do meet, as Crowley slips around Aziraphale, causing Aziraphale to be caught in his gaze for a moment. Aziraphale has to steady himself. He doesn't breathe for a moment. He blushes. He looks away as soon as he can get himself together enough to do so. One day, he's going to paint his house the color of those eyes, but in this moment? His heart is going to beat out of his chest just looking at Crowley.
Then, Aziraphale keeps looking ahead and only glances occasionally slightly to the side, trying not to make it obvious that he is not looking at a flirting Crowley-- who, for his part, can't take his eyes off Aziraphale. Aziraphale avoids fully catching his gaze, looking away quickly, just undone by those eyes enough that he's too shy to meet them.
We get to a point where Crowley is literally *leaning forward* to try to get Aziraphale to meet his eyes, but Aziraphale is dodging by looking anywhere else.
Even when exchanging a brief look of understanding, Aziraphale looks in Crowley's direction but not directly into his eyes.
This keeps happening for the rest of the scene, with Aziraphale not directly meeting Crowley's eyes through telling him about the plan for The Flood, the rainbow, the Oi! Shem! unicorn moment, etc.. It ends with them both looking up as the rain begins. It is a whole scene showing us that Aziraphale's attraction to Crowley makes him shy away from his gaze while Crowley's attraction to Aziraphale makes him seek out his eyes. This scene, though?
It is the only scene where this sort of dance is taking place, is it not? There's no scene after it like it.
By the Job minisode, this eye contact issue not only no longer exists between them, but we have the scene where Aziraphale asks Crowley to take his glasses off and look him in the eyes.
So, back in Mesopotamia... come S3, might we see that this sudden rainstorm of The Flood eventually forced them together beneath a canopy where they looked into each other's eyes and... vavoom?

The Sideburns Scheme Post #50
(For reference: The Sideburns Scheme)
Crowley, Good Omens 2, Episode 3, I Know Where I'm Going, tempest
...
Sideburns Check
The above image is brightened. The sideburns are still long, as expected for the rest of this episode. Gabriel's still around and visible this time. His presence affects the sideburns this way when Crowley's not around humans.
...
Brighter Red Streak Check
The above image is brightened more than the one above.
Given the lighting and angles, it's not as easy to find the more saturated red streak of hair anymore, but it is there, most obviously when Crowley has his right hand pocketed and starts moving forward toward Gabriel yet.
...
Hairstyle Changes
The top front hair in the center is more collectively defined in that area, centering, going up, and back. The red further back on the top of the head is more clearly shown; much of the preceding window sequence hid this part of the hair.
...
Earthly Objects
(For reference: Earthly Objects)
Gabriel starts off with the question, "Did they vavoom?" He is still seated, and his shoes are visibly crossed over the rug. His hands are touching his thighs, with his right hand on his right thigh showing four extended fingers and his left hand hiding all of his fingers. A shadow is cast over his face.
Crowley replies using the name "Jim." He is touching things, but those touches are not visible on screen yet.
With a cut back to Gabriel, his right hand is no longer showing all four fingers and now matches the left hand in hiding the fingers. His eyes turn purple as he says foreboding stuff.
The scene cuts back to Crowley to reveal his touches. His right hand is pocketed, and his left hand is touching the desk. He removes his touch on the desk first, then moves his right hand out of his pocket. His index finger "makes a point".
There is another cut to Gabriel as he keeps talking with the purple eyes and ominous words. He's shown as still seated, hands touching the inner parts of his thighs, and his elbows against the arm rests.
With a cut back to Crowley, he only says, "Go on," with no evident touches on anything.
Another cut to Gabriel shows him continuing, and now the camera work mainly shows Gabriel's back in front of the chair. I can't really tell just by looking at it, but going over the preceding cuts, I think the back is not really against the chair for a touch.
Then there's a cut to Crowley with a question of, "What are we talking about now?"
There's a cut back to Gabriel. Gabriel blinks. The purple eyes are gone. He looks at Crowley.
There's a cut back to Crowley, who doesn't say anything, but the camera's been getting closer and closer to each of their faces to focus on their eye colors. Crowley's eyes are yellow. Gabriel's eyes were purple. These colors are opposites on a color wheel.
With a cut back to Gabriel, Gabriel asks, "Who am I? What's happened to me?"
Before Crowley can answer, they are interrupted by Shax tapping on a window pane with an index finger, beckoning Crowley to her.
Crowley tells Gabriel to, "Stay here." He picks up his sunglasses, which I'm guessing he's doing whatever needs to be done so that they are an accessory instead of a door, given how the scenes will continue. He also picks up some keys.
When Crowley touches the door to exit, he touches the astragal with his four fingers but not the fingertips. He places his thumb on the push plate. These touches are probably relevant to figuring out the Single of The Pocket Trick later. For now, the main thing to know is that these touches are how to earn earthly object touches on a door instead of threshold-only touches.
The tassel tips of Crowley's tie briefly appear under his arm in all the movement. I wonder why the story's going through the trouble of showing that. It at least shows both strands are actually pointing toward Crowley's left and in front of his left torso, including the lapel of his jacket.
The touch on the keys is more evident from Crowley when trying to follow along with whatever the tie strands are doing as the door is closed.
...
For paying attention to the pockets...
Gabriel's position with his feet crossed allows him to have a pocket between his legs and hands while seated.
When Crowley is shown to have his right hand pocketed, a globe is visually pocketed between Crowley's left side, arm, and desk. I'm guessing it represents the world they are trying to protect through whatever grand schemes are really happening in this story.
Crowley ends up shielding it because he blocks it from view with his movement as he removes his touches.
When Crowley does this movement, the tie strands don't switch or cross, but the clasps align and probably touch each other. The clasps represent thumb joints for the Tied Hands.
This cut includes the Belt Head so it could theoretically have an Overhead Lights or multiple Overhead Lights here through the lamps on the desk. If the sunlight is meant as a guide, it's just the one lamp closest to Crowley and the window he had been using for the previous scene.
While I'm mentioning so many things, there is a pocket made with the right arm and Crowley's torso too.
When Crowley puts on his sunglasses, he makes a pocket with his body that includes his arms, hands, and chin. Something that must be at least one, if not both, of the tie strands, pushes forward off his chest as he brings his hands down.
...
Story Commentary
With all the commotion to the end of the scene, Crowley is briefly fully obscured by a pillar. I've often wondered if there's a reason for such things when they happen, but I've never figured out what such a reason might be.
When Gabriel has the purple eyes, his voice is mixed with someone who sounds like a woman. I can't find anything in the credits for who it might be. The mixed voice fades or disappears when Gabriel says, "Every day it's getting closer."
...
That's it for this post. Sometimes I edit my posts, FYI.

Alright I did it!!!! @vavoom-sorted-art inspired me! I drew my own Hazbin Omens!
Vavoom started the trend, please go see their original post. People have been creating amazing crossovers and I really wanted to try my hand at it. Made with Posca and Copics markers.
Some design notes:
-I wanted Crowley's main colors to be blue to show how he doesn't really fit in Hell, which is a lot of reds, while still maintaining his dark color scheme.
- The lightest blue represents his hidden optimism.
-His suit turns directly into his shoes
-long hair Crowley and turtle neck Crowley are my favorite looks so I wanted to represent both
-the blue thing in Crowley's hair is a glowing serpent circlet and he can't remove it.
-then yellow at the bottom of Azi's robes represents how he can't help but thinking about Crowley, it's to mimic Crowley's eyes
-the gray of Azi's robes is to show his underlying depression from being part of the repressive forces in Heaven
-the pink on Azi's wings represents his love for Humanity and Crowley that seeps out despite Heaven's tight grasp
-they eyes on Azis wings aren't the same color as his eyes because they are the eyes of Heaven constantly watching him
-lol not to scale, Crowley would be much taller than Azi. Whoops

An Arrangement in Black (part 6) - angst war contribution
@daneecastle @gleafer @vavoom-sorted-art @lauramoon1987 @gahellhimself-blog @goodomensafterdark
Beginning - Part 5 - Part 7
Word count: 469 words
Trigger warnings: bodies, sickness, grave consequences to a disease, harm to a child
Don't worry, tomorrow there will be a kiss.
Dum.
From under a body crawled a small child, her fingers about as dark as Crowley’s serpentine scales, her coughs heavy and leaving a red stream plock from the corner of her lips to the ground.
He let out a whine and ran by her side, forced the body off her until she could liberate herself. Even so, her body was barely able to hold its own weight, and soon she crumbled back to the ground. The cries she tried to get out of her throat grated against it and became half-whines and trembling sobs.
“No… no, no no no, please-” His heart was beating harder and harder, like it was trying to compensate for her own, and his hurting body acted on its own, passing his arms under her to carry her against his torso. “I, I… I’ll find you a doctor. Stay with me, alright?” he asked with a voice that could not truly hide the desperation he felt.
He knew just the person he should reach out to, and yet he could only dare hoping he would help him save just this one. He cradled her into his arms, heard the heavy strain on her lungs, and he sniffed the air, coughed at first as the awfully pungent smell took over him yet again.
After turning and circling around the village, he froze, finally finding the lead he was looking for. He looked at the small girl, who had fully fallen asleep for the time being, and walked a few steps forward, landing in a small wood and blinded by the bright light of this angel posing as a priest in the middle of pious people on the brink of desolation.
“Aziraphale!” The angel turned away from Mr Smith and his eyes met with the sight of Crowley entering the small town, draped in a dark cape, hunched over the little form he was keeping under it.
“Crowley? What is going on?”
The yellow of his irises had fully engulfed his eyes and was shining under the bright sun above. His walk was strained, like he was lifting the world on his shoulders; surprising, Aziraphale thought. One might have assumed that a demon like himself would be relishing in the current state of affairs. “I, I need a favour.”
He raised an eyebrow and bobbed his head with a sarcastic smile. “Whatever might you want from me? Certainly you’re not thinking of asking me to stop working agai-”
“Save her.” He opened his cape, revealing a small girl ravaged by the corrupting marks of the plague, resting in the crook of his arm. “P-Please.” He raised his eyes to look at his face; didn’t miss the trembling of his lips, or the pure anguish of his traits. “I, I… Anything. I’ll… I’ll do anything. Please.”
