Seeing both Crowley and Nina on screen at the same time is more than my poor bisexual heart can take.

I was relistening to the Good Omens audiobook (the David Tennant and Michael Sheen version, of course), and I can't believe I'm just now realizing that Shadwell's Thundergun belonged to a Witchfinder-Colonel Dalrymple. AAAA I will be discovering Easter Eggs in season 2 for years to come. Brilliant.

This is the Crowley and Aziraphale hug I want to see in season 3. Hear me out.
I know many of us are desperate for a hug scene, and I think this Jim and Pam hug is a perfect mirror for them.
This scene never fails to break my heart because Jim (Aziraphale) can't quite put into words what Pam (Crowley) means to him, so he pours all of his sadness, love, and devotion into this gut-wrenching hug. However, Pam (Crowley) has been hurt before so they are taken aback by the hug and unsure whether they can reciprocate. But the intensity of the hug breaks down their walls one at a time, until they finally open their blocked up hearts once more and accept the love they are receiving.
I need this ASAP.
(yes, I did make my own gif of this scene just for this post because I couldn't find a proper one online, I'm completely normal about them.)

Things I think about on a regular basis: if Crowley still had his apartment in season 2, would we have see him make small changes to it to accommodate Aziraphale? A comfortable armchair in the corner, perhaps a small bookcase, the angel’s favorite tea hidden all over the house?

“It starts, as it will end, with a garden.”
So we all agree season 3 will end with THEIR garden. Right? RIGHT??
I need this for my peace of mind.

Good Omens season 2 but it's every time I exhale through my nose:
Wrong bench
Do they know?/The ducks?
Every scene involving Gabriel/Jim (Jon Hamm is a national treasure)
James. Long for Jim, short for Gabriel.
How's your naked man friend?
I...am...dusting!
You were right, you were right, I was wrong, you were right.
You do understand I'm threatening you?
Get humans wet and staring into each others eyes, vavoom, sorted.
Jane? Austen??
She had balls!!/Well...
Like killing innocent children to win a bet with Satan?
I think the point was, if you want answers, come back when you can make a whale.
Shoemaking and obstetrics. Those have always been the twin passions of Bildad the Shuhite.
I am a professional midwife/cobbler
Wow, it's like you've looked deep into my secret soul
What car?/Our car./We don't have a car./Of course we do. Isn't she a beauty?
Crowley slapping Aziraphale's hand away from the Bentley
I'm a human police officer
Cupperty
Inspector Constable
Every scene with Muriel (she is too precious for this world)
Don't you want to hear my plan? Or, you know, go by train.
I know for some members of the police force it's a bit of a hobby.
David Tennant's accents in episode 3
The lower you start, the more opportunities you have.
Was that a travel sweet??
Crowley throwing stacks of books around
Of course. Doctor.
You'll be one of those investigative reporters, no doubt.
The awning of a new age
Listen, when there's no hot water and two yellow lights on the boiler, what is that? (Miranda Richardson killed it as Shax)
You don't seem his type at all/Sassy eyebrow raise
Go on, mister British man, wow me with your miracles
They're the bee's knees
Azirapalala
Aziraphale speaking French
Is the book seller your bit on the side?
The seamstress scene
TOSTE
Staying behind to die bravely? Good on you.
I'm not actually, either. But thank you.
Crowley's heaven outfit
You're not helping, angel

I keep thinking about how Crowley's confession would have sounded like if he got to speak first. Ultimately, Crowley just wants to be with Aziraphale.
His rejection of both Heaven and Hell as being toxic only came after Aziraphale revealed the job offer implying they can both return to Heaven. That's when Crowley proposed their side over any other side.
But what if Aziraphale had let Crowley speak first? How would it have been different from "we need to get away from them, just be an us"?
Would he have had the courage to say more assuming they’re going for an alcoholic breakfast at the Ritz after that? Perhaps those three magic words?
AAAAAA the possibilities are killing me.

“Maggie and Nina are depending on me, they just don't know it yet.”
This man really went from “We need to make them fall in love to justify our miracle.” to “We need to make them fall in love because love makes me feel gooey inside and also I need to stage a ball so I can have an excuse to dance with you and also I love you.”

On my umpteenth rewatch of the first scene, something started nagging at me.
When Crowley says he would welcome questions if he were in charge, not only does Aziraphale's face drop as he tells him he would hate to see him get into any trouble, but he also looks around as if to check no one heard him.
Sure, part of that is Aziraphale being flustered that anyone would even consider saying such a thing, but there's no way that version of Aziraphale had one bad thought about Heaven. What exactly did he think was going to happen to Crowley? Why did he assume something bad will happen to him if he asks questions? Was he aware of Heaven's proclivity to punish those that question the ineffable plan even then?
When we later meet him, it doesn't seem like he thinks Heaven would be capable of anything nefarious.
My point is, why did he look so freaked out then? It just feels like he knew something more than what he was sharing.
It's, of course, entirely possible that I'm just reading too much into things but that's the whole fun of it.

Okay but why is this conversation so erotically charged:
— What do you know about what I want?
— I know you.
— You do not know me.
— I know the angel you were.
— The angel you knew is not me.
— Then... then you tell me that you want to do this. You look me in the eye and tell me.
*takes glasses off and comes closer*
— I want to.

I know we're all upset with Aziraphale but just LOOK AT HIM all throughout the Gabriel and Beelzebub reveal. I am CONVINCED that stirred something in him and he was ready to finally take the next step in their relationship if Metatron wouldn't have interrupted.
The way he stares at Crowley while he's talking to Shax about his apartment (and a good while after) feels like the same realization finally dawned on him: Hey, if Gabriel and Beelzebub can do it, so can we.
An honorable mention goes to Michael Sheen's hand acting, not just during the infamous kiss but also because Gabriel and Beelzebub holding hands makes him reach for Crowley and when Crowley moves away, his hands are twitching trying to reach for him. *chef's kiss*

I would just like to tip my hat to Good Omens season 2 for the setting. I absolutely LOVED the fact that most of the action takes place in the neighborhood. Because if season one was about the world, season two was truly about them.
I loved getting to know all the other businesses, seeing Aziraphale and Crowley interact with their owners, and above all, seeing them get so domestic with each other in their own safe space. The entire season is just so personal and homely.
I think the Ball episode best illustrates this for me. The entire neighborhood is packed in the bookshop, threats looming outside, and Crowley going back and forth trying to save everyone.
And of course, he says "I'm coming back. I won't leave you on your own." and Aziraphale is relieved to see him walk though the door ("You came back.")
In the end, the season was, as Neil said, quiet, gentle, and romantic, and I think the setting played a big part in that. The ending doesn’t change any of that, as much as it hurt.

Regarding Aziraphale not expressly asking Crowley to move in. I don't think it was necessary for Aziraphale to officially ask him just as I don't think Crowley was ready for him to do so. Crowley doesn't seem to mind the situation they're in at that time (pre Nina helping him realize things). And let's face it, he's basically living there anyway. It's their bookshop just as much as it's their car. Crowley spends most of the season in the bookshop and he is so comfortable there. I was delighted to see all the little ways in which he's clearly embraced it as his home: sitting on the edge of the armchair next to Aziraphale opposite Muriel ("us" vs "guests"), "organizing" the books in Aziraphale's absence, lounging comfortably on the chair when Aziraphale talks to Metatron, barely wearing his glasses inside (we don't talk about that final scene), cleaning up while waiting for Aziraphale, going in and out of the bookshop as he pleases.
It's no longer the season one dynamic of Aziraphale inviting him in after Crowley gives him a ride home (Get thee behind me, foul fiend! After you.) He doesn't need to be invited in anymore. And he clearly spends time there even when Aziraphale is not around (I have a meeting, why don't you wait inside? You like waiting inside.)
I don't think either of them were ready for that step because it would mean confronting what they truly are and we know how they've danced around that notion for millennia.
I understand people are upset because Crowley offered it to him at the end of season 1 and because it's easy to be upset with Aziraphale considering the finale but I think it was a tacit mutual agreement that they're fine and comfortable the way they are.
Just like Aziraphale said: yes, it's technically Aziraphale's bookshop but practically, it's theirs. Crowley doesn't need to spend the night there for it to be his home.
