Vance in turn appeared Friday on CNN, dismissed the video of Upton as little more than “a 20-year-old meme” and urged Upton to “laugh it off”.

“Politics has got way too lame,” Vance said to anchor John Berman. “You can have some fun while making an argument to the American people about improving their lives.

“I’m not going to apologize for posting a joke – but I wish the best for Caitlin and hope she’s doing well.”

She was doing well until Vance dredged up a best-forgotten meme for a petty attack on a political opponent.

Classic narcissist behavior--blame the person you ridicule for getting upset about your "joke".

Really, "dumb blonde jokes" in 2024? The guy really does hate women.

Oh, and there's no missing the part that Caitlin Upton was, at the time Vance posted the meme, a Trump supporter. I wonder how she, along with her family and friends, will vote now.
