Hiiiii! can i request for a shy vampire and a willing victim?
you have such wonderful writing and can't wait for every of your updates, thank you!
Bite me
Warnings: not my usual content - vampire x victim dynamic, slightly suggestive, mentions of blood drinking (duh). Vic is short for victim.
So maybe walking through an abandoned park at night was not their smartest idea. So what? It's not like Vic was ever one to have genius ideas. It was late; they were lazy and entirely done with everything happening in their life. Sometimes, Vic just wished they could spend a lifetime sipping wine and staring at the moon with a woeful expression.
They'd look gorgeous too. Like one of those gothic paintings that their landlord insisted on keeping up. Vic did not mind, mostly because they were too numb to care. Yeah, apathy was what they felt - or rather, they didn't feel anything. It could be the reason for the desperate recklessness with which they treated life.
Hence, their lack of reaction would lead to an unexpected turn of events tonight.
When someone's arms grab Vic from behind, pressing them face-first against a wall, they don't struggle much. Vic expects to be robbed or perhaps killed, but when their attacker tilts their head to the side, exposing their neck, they let out a sigh that borders on relief.
Vampire.
They feel sharp fangs graze their skin tentatively, causing goosebumps to arise. The feeling makes Vic freeze. Fuck, why does this feel so hot?
They don't flinch, which seems to surprise the vampire holding them. It steps closer, pressing up against Vic from behind, sending a s hiver of arousal down their spine. What the fuck is wrong with me?!
They're grateful their attacker doesn't notice it, preoccupied with their own struggles. After another moment of hesitation, the vices around them loosen. The vampire steps back, their arms almost limp as they drop to their sides.
"I-" The vampire pauses, gulping thickly. "I can't do this. I can't." They shake their head in half-disappointment, half-conviction.
When Vic turns around to face them, they look so downcast that it chips away at Vic's heart. Poor thing. "Hey, it's alright." They try to sound as comforting as a victim possibly can.
"Excuse me?" The vampire looks up at them, their expression incredulous.
"I don't mind," Vic shrugs, catching their attacker off guard. They are equally surprised at their undeniable willingness to fall victim tonight. They already have the woeful gothic vibe down - might as well go for it. Just drink blood instead of wine while staring at the moon. Not that big of a difference.
"What do you mean you don't mind?" The vampire asks, their voice going off-pitch. "Are you bonkers?"
"Nope," Vic denies, though it's likely the case. "I'm a fan."
"EXCUSE ME?!" What the vampire truly wanted to ask was: 'What the everloving fuck are you on about?' but they had to maintain the intellectual image.
"You heard me," Vic responds their expression nothing short of nonchalance. They give the vampire a quick glance-over. "I didn't think you'd be this cute though."
"What?" The vampire exclaims, coughing to hide their flustered expression. Their eyes are blown so wide, they might as well pop out of their skull, not to mention the furious blush spreading over their face and neck. They didn't even know vampires could blush.
Before they can finish that, Vic interrupts them with a sneaky smirk. "Now, would you be a doll and bite me already?"
"I-" The vampire stutters, breaking character because they cannot process what's happening. "What the hell? You were supposed to scream and run away!"
"Oh, you like to play with your food, huh?" Vic's smirk widens into a wicked grin as they whisper. "Kinky, I like that."
"WHAT?!" Okay, the vampire is nearing a mental breakdown at this point - their brain has waved a white flag, surrendering to the utter unpredictability of the idiot in front of them.
The vampire watches in horror awe as Vic purses their lips, leaning against the wall behind them before speaking. "Surprised, baby?"
"B-baby..?" The vampire is convinced something in their brain is malfunctioning because they cannot have heard this correctly. "How drunk are you?"
"I'm slightly tipsy and overwhelmingly sad," they explain, raking their eyes over the vampire's form. They really are cute.
"Then why are you this... willing to-" they pause to find the right words, "to, uh, be turned or eaten?"
"I'd rather be turned, if I'm honest," Vic notes, as if that was not painfully obvious.
"Oh, thank god, I had doubts," the vampire retorts, sarcasm dripping from their tone and expression as they roll their eyes.
The victim giggles, crossing their arms in amusement. Maybe life wasn't turning out as shitty as they presumed.
"Stop giggling, for heaven's sake!" The vampire's exasperation brings another wave of soft giggles to their supposed victim.
Vic snorts, crossing their arms over their chest and quirking an eyebrow at the use of the phrase. "You're one to talk about heaven?"
"Fair," the vampire admits with a small smile, and Vic freezes, admiring the gentle curve of their lips.
Holy fuck, they need to get their mind out of the gutter.
"Seems to me I could go now?" Vic notes, turning around in a mock attempt at escaping.
"Not so fast, sweetheart," the vampire seizes them again, their hold firm yet gentle when their arm wraps around Vic's waist, pulling their back flush against their chest.
"Are you going to bite me, or should I look for someone braver to pierce me?" Vic chuckles, their teasing tone obvious to their attacker.
"Oh, you're fucking done for," the vampire lets out a low growl as their tongue darts out to swipe over the sensitive skin of Vic's neck, earning a muffled moan from their victim. "In more ways than one."

Warmup #5
An undertone of juniper caressed the victim’s senses. She turned, eyes roving over the shelves lined with ancient tombs. There was nothing there. No one came this deep into the spiraling library. And yet, she felt cold eyes sting her skin.
Or perhaps it was paranoia creeping back in.
She pulled one of the books from the shelves, flipping through the pages, letting the familiar smell of aged paper suppress the memories that bubbled up. She was safe and alone. She’d escaped the torment of her past. The victim placed the book back on the shelf, sighing out the moment of fear that had turned her ribs into a cage.
“Hello darling~”
The victim whirled. “What are you-“ she sucked in a breath “-what are you doing here.”
Golden eyes crinkled with amusement. “It’s a library. I came to read,” the vampire purred. “And to pay my favorite songbird a visit.”
The victim stared at the creature. She was as beautiful and terrifying as she’d been all those years ago. Even now she felt the tug in her chest, drawing her into the trap. The victim turned away, curling her fingers around the dirty cloth she’d been using to clean. “Leave me alone,” was all she could manage.
“Leave you alone?” She could hear the pout in her voice. “I’ve left you alone for, oh, how long has it been? One year? Two?”
Four. It had been four fucking years of always scrutinizing the shadows for any flicker of those molten, hungry eyes. The victim walked down the aisle. Perhaps she was hallucinating. She’d read books on soldiers who’d returned from battle seeing things that weren’t there.
Cold fingers wrapped around the back of her neck. The victim stumbled, pulled back into the cold, slender body of the vampire. “Do you think it wise to turn your back?”
Juniper enveloped her, hiding the tang of iron that never truly left. “You can’t hurt me here,” she whimpered. Her heart beat against her chest like fearful child pounding on the door to be let out of the dark.
“Can’t I?” The vampire’s grip receded. Slow, calculated steps brought her in front of the victim.
The victim shrank beneath her gaze, eyes falling to the black leather boots the creature wore.
“Oh, you haven’t forgotten all your training. Just some,” she leered. “No matter. There’s always time to remind you of your place.”
No. Nononono. She’d gotten away. She’d escaped. She couldn’t go back. She wouldn’t. The victim ran. She managed all of two steps before she tripped on a book flung beneath her foot. She scrambled, clawing at the wooden slats.
“There’s no where for you to go, little bird.”
The victim found her footing. Again, a book made her stumble. She caught herself on the book shelf and jumped, avoid another tomb from sweeping her feet out from beneath her.
“I’d almost forgotten how fun you were.” The vampire stalked closer, grabbing another book from the shelf. “What happens if I start throwing them at your head? Would you wake up back home?" Home. Home?
The victim sprinted. “I’ll never go back with you!”
A laugh, sweet and haunting sang through the air. “Your words wound me, darling. Haven’t you missed me?” The vampire’s voice caressed her ear.
She veered to the right, grabbing a torch from its sconce. The victim spun, wielding it with both hands. “Stay away from me,” she said through ragged breaths. “I’m never going back. Find someone else. Anyone.”
“Anyone?” The vampire turned the corner, walking without making a sound. “How about one of your friends?”
“I don’t have friends.”
“Shocking.” She smiled, letting the flickering firelight gleam off of her canines. “Alas, I came for you. No one sings the way you do when we play.” Tears boiled over the victim’s eyes. “Stop.” The torch trembled in her grasp. “I won’t go back with you.”
“My darling, you don’t have a choice.” A slender hand seized the torch. The victim’s hands closed around open air. “Did you really think I would let you forget me? Let those beautiful scars I gave you fade?” Cold fingers grabbed her color, pulling her in, uncaring of the victim’s feeble attempts to pull away. “Time will never heal you. You don’t get to forget. You don’t deserve to.” The vampire moved the torch toward the victim’s face, laughing at the way the girl stilled with the unspoken threat. “You’re mine, darling. We’re going to make so many memories again.” Tender lips pressed against the victim’s forehead. “But I’m not ready for you yet.”
The victim stumbled back, released.
“I’ve just missed you so much.” Those golden eyes softened. “But duties call me elsewhere.” The vampire sighed, almost looking remorseful. “Soon, my darling, we’ll be back together. Until then,” she threw the torch behind her, the flames licking up the old books, “enjoy cleaning up your mess.”

The tunnels beneath the manor smelled of stale mold. The air clung to the human’s skin. Torchlight flickered over the ancient stone. Handprints, brown and cracked with age, lined the walls. Some of them stopped, others dragged on. The floor was pristine. Not so much as a stain to be seen. It looked like an artist had been commissioned to paint a mural of the tortured souls that had been ripped from the vessel of their bodies in the darkness.
Her pulse pounded against her throat. Every breath felt like a gasp. She couldn’t stop to mourn all the girls that had failed. The journals had told her there was an escape. She’d found them hidden in a hole torn into her mattress. The realization that she had not been the first to stumble into the labyrinth of the manor had struck the air from her chest. The architect was a woman, or so she’d thought at first. Dark and alluring, promising a warm bed and a hot meal. In the throes of winter, with nothing but the clothes she wore, it was too good to resist. There was no village for miles and the snows had already begun. The woman had lured her in, made her comfortable, acted as a noble host. It wasn’t until she’d noticed the intricate locks on every door that she had tried to leave.
The author of the journal had a similar experience. The strokes of the quill had been sharp and thin, hastily written for fear of discovery. She had found a way out, she said. It had taken the human a month to scavenge the keys for each set of locked doors leading to the tunnels—all while trying to keep her balance with her venomous host.
Something scuffed against the ground. “You picked the wrong path, little one.” The human whirled, brandishing her torch like a sword. Was there another path? Had there been a passage she’d missed? The journal only spoke of one way to escape. Were there others? The torchlight glinted off her fangs as she laughed, a syrupy sound the human couldn’t help but drink in. “It took you longer to find your way down here than I thought it would.”
“You won’t do it.” Her treacherous hands trembled around her feeble weapon. “You need someone to taunt, to toy with.”
“What makes you think I need you?” The vampire stepped closer, daring the woman to burn her. “What makes you worth keeping, darling?”
The human squared her shoulders, refusing to step back, to cower. “You’ve let me live longer than the rest.” She waited for a rebuttal. Golden eyes stared, flicking down to her throat. “The others were boring, too scared to play the game or gave up.”
“And what makes you different?” The tilt of the vampire’s head was too slow, too graceful. Was she wrong? Had she said the wrong thing?
“I know when to pull my leash and when to sit.” She scanned the predator’s sharp, owlish features, trying to peel back the mask of mild amusement. “You went to my room, didn’t you?.” The vampire blinked. “How many rooms did you check before you even thought to look down here?”
The vampire began to circle her. She followed her steps, keeping her toothpick of a torch poised. “Too many,” she mused. The torch sputtered, frigid air blowing sweaty strands from her face. The cold, hard press of the vampire’s body against her back made her freeze. Long, thin arms wrapped around her like an iron cage.
The mist of her breath seared against her skin as she spoke, “You have until sunrise to find your way out.” The sharp point of her nose dragged against her pulse, breathing her in. “Escape and I’ll set you free. Return and we can continue our dance.” Lips as cold as winter’s snow pressed against her pulse. The strength wavered in her legs, but the predator didn’t seem to notice. “But if you’re here when I return-” the prick of fangs made her flinch “-I win.”
The embrace of death vanished. The human ran—trying to beat the sun.

Writing Prompt #2468
The candlelight glinted off her fangs, as she looked down at her new quarry. "You picked an unfortunate place to hide, little one."
"You won't do it." The woman challenged. "You need someone to taunt, or you're stuck here alone again."
"Who said anything about me being alone?"

which of these shows have you *not* seen?
these all have at least one main female character who has been described as an icon and has an established place in mainstream culture. They all premiered from the 1990s to the 2000s. for shows like Charmed that have had a remake, or The X Files with a sequel, we’re only counting the original series!
by “seen” it can be whatever you classify that as—watching the whole thing pilot to final episode, catching a rerun occasionally, or even seeing enough gifsets here that you know the general premise!
feel free to reblog for sample size!

I hate this, seriously. Armand is not a good person, but he deserves to be stopped being treated like a whore, like a thing. I'm not sure if he really likes it, I think Marius broke his psyche and now he just doesn't know how to love in another way.
I just want Daniel to forget about their disagreements for a minute, hug this poor vampire and tell him that he loves him, appreciates him and that he doesn't have to do what he doesn't want to do and follow anyone's orders.
For a change, let someone worship Armand, and not him worship someone.
