I cannot recommend enough cloaks for everyday wear. Sure, they don't have sleeves, which is why we wear coats, but nothing beats the coziness of essentially wearing a blanket out in public.

Except in the US Southeast during summer. Or spring. Or fall. Or most of"winter" — then you melt. So make sure it's washable. But the dramatic ways they move! ❤️

If a cloak isn't for you, a full trenchcoat is an excellent choice! Big pockets can hold rescued kittens or keep your hands mysteriously out of sight. Linings might be removable, allowing use during more seasons. Plus! They keep the rain off you!

Other long coats are also fun - and warm. Why shouldn't your legs be toasty during bitter weather? You owe yourself dramatic, gender neutral, and practical clothing ;)

Yes, lore reason!!! That actually probably won't come up in the comic, so I'll answer it here!!

Fidds was actually wearing it for a vampire "meeting"!! Yess, he has been a vampire for a while, and he doesn't particularly like it, but he has to participate in vampire culture 🙏 And y'know, you have to dress up for those things. Stan just caught him at a bad time, he usually doesn't wear stuff like that!!!

So when he said costume party, it wasn't that much of a lie, who would've figured!!
