"How is this any less intimate than sex?" Astarion asked against her skin, sending a chilly shiver at the base of her spine. He licked at the fresh punctures on her neck, the texture of his tongue on the wounds making her wince. She could feel him smiling, his lips, still wet with her blood, unnecessarily close to her skin, now that he was done feeding.

She swallowed, and a drop of blood went down her neck. Astarion was quick to catch it, his lips following the crimson trail, parted, to allow the tip of his tongue to taste her. Then, when he realized she wasn't going to reply to his provocative remark, he used the flat of his tongue to lap at the side of her neck.

She squirmed, trying to subtract her injured skin from his ministrations. And yet, she didn't push him away.

"Don't you know that it's rude to play with your food?" she retorted. Astarion exhaled an amused huff of hair through his nostrils, against her wet skin. Another shiver.

"I was just making sure I'd leave my plate thoroughly clean. I don't want to alarm the others, I've made quite a mess of you." She grunted in response, eliciting another dry cackle from him. "You've been ever so generous to me", he continued, a sarcastic note in his tone that made her furrow her brows. "So be a good girl and stay still, while I finish cleaning you up."

The feeling of his tongue against her exposed neck had her response dying on her lips.
