Yup, finally time to talk about Trazyn...
I put it off because hey, everyone else deserves some love and attention...but Trazyn deserves more, sorry he is just built different.
It will probably shock no one that Trazyn is my favorite 40k character. He's what got me into Warhammer in the first place. I imagine I'm not the only one who went through the "oh, funny meme steal guy lol" to "guess I'll read Infinite and the Divine" to "can't be invited to parties because I refuse to think about anything that's not Necrons or my new plastic crack addiction" pipeline.
But why is this weird sexy space kleptomaniac so compelling? The answer might surprise you!
(it won't for a while but bear with me there's a twist coming)
Why do we all like Trazyn? First of all, he's easy to grasp. Indiana Jones meets the Collector in 40k. One sentence and you know what he's about. That's invaluable for pitching a character. And then you watch him and he's clever, he's hyper-competent, he's funny. In the grimdark future, this guy makes you laugh! He screws with everyone. And yeah, he's easy to meme, but that's just part of his charm.
He fits into nearly any 40k story too. Space Marines? Aeldar? Chaos? Tau? Trazyn wants an artifact and he's messing with *insert main characters here* to get it. Or maybe *insert main characters here* need something and he's the only one who has it. Doesn't really matter what or why, the second Trazyn shows up he can play off anyone. As an uneasy ally, an opponent in a negotiation, or in a fight. He has an incredible dry wit that makes him super entertaining (especially in a setting where characters can be a bit...serious).
And Trazyn ultimately has pretty sympathetic motives. He wants to preserve, to collect, and tell stories through his museum. Museums are cool! Culture is neat! Sure he's a bit...unethical, but he's far from the worst dude in 40k so he's very easy to root for, even if he's a side character or antagonist.
So yeah, witty, devious, immortal museum curator. Perfect character, right?
Well...here's that twist.
Trazyn is actually (in my opinion) really, really hard to write for as a protagonist of his own story.
See most commercial fiction is structured around a character who wants something, but something else gets in their way. Frodo wants to take the ring to Mordor but all of middle earth plus some evil wizards, orcs, giant spiders, etc. are in the way. The issue with Trazyn (on paper) is that he doesn't truly want anything. Sure there are specific artifacts and people he wants for his collection, but that's surface level. Hunting down random cool space stuff is not a change from his day to day, so focusing a whole story around that might be fun for a while, but it wouldn't stick with you. Because any deep, emotional desires he has are fulfilled. He has power, he has purpose, he has his own planet that shapes itself to his will.
Trazyn is used to being in control. Of Solemnace, of his expeditions, of his negotiations. If plan A goes south he has twelve other options, and a few back up plans, and probably an ork warband attached to his belt if he needs it. Oh, and he's immortal. And can't be hurt. Which again, is hella fun, but how do you have suspense or stakes with all of that? How do you write an interesting story for the guy that has everything?
Enter Orikan.
Orikan is one of the only things that introduces chaos into Trazyn's existence. Orikan can break into Trazyn's house, break his stuff, and get away with it. When Orikan is around, the things Trazyn loves are in danger. Orikan shattered relics from their people's history and Trazyn failed to save them. He tried to catch one piece and it shattered because his hand was metal. The thing that usually makes him untouchable contributed to his loss. That is heartbreaking to read. Sure he can fight elves and dinosaurs and steal the most incredible things, but Trazyn can be made vulnerable in the right circumstances.
The thing he wants throughout Infinite and the Divine is not the McGuffin Mysterios. It's revenge. But because Orikan is his equal and opposite, he can't get it easily. There's an obstacle. Which means we have a story on our hands.
There's another scene that I find really striking from that book: Trazyn and his human assistant on Serenade. This old man who Trazyn kinda...mind controlled into service, but also provided him and his family with the best education, medical care, career opportunities etc. Trazyn didn't have to do that, but he is the type of greedy where if something is "his" he takes care of it. That includes (for better or worse) that human man and his family. Blips on the radar to an immortal being, but those are Trazyn's blips so they get the best a blip can ask for (aside from free will but shhhhhh.)
But that doesn't mean Trazyn can prevent the inevitable. His assistant gets old without him even noticing. The man has reached the end of his life, and that is something Trazyn can't control. And he's emotional about it. Not like devastated (it's just a human after all, basically his hamster just died) but it throws him for a loop.
Oh hey, speaking of how Trazyn takes care of things that he considers his...
Trazyn never really gets close to killing Orikan. He says he wants to. He acts like it. That's the story we set up. Trazyn shoots him in the face. But does he try to permanently kill Orikan? Does he ever act with any true cruelty?
He does once. When Orikan was weak and vulnerable, Trazyn crushed Orikan's skull with his foot, and that's so out of character it's our clearest indication as a reader that something is wrong. That's when we realize the song has Trazyn ensnared because normally he would not do that. He wouldn't treat his greatest enemy and rival that way which is... certainly interesting.
And then of course there's that scene at the end. When Orikan is burned and afraid and unable to defend himself, Trazyn doesn't even try to hurt him. He is gentle, careful, he makes sure Orikan isn't permanently damaged. After everything they've done to each other over 10,000 years (and that's just the events of the book, their rivalry is older), it doesn't even occur to Trazyn to harm Orikan in that moment.
That to me is the real secret that makes Trazyn more than a meme character. That greed that makes him care for things, cultures, places, and people. Those moments where he isn't in control. The combination of the two that means something is at stake. He has a deep love for the universe despite this being such a nihilistic setting. That love drives him to do ridiculous things, but that's the core (I think) of why we love watching him cavort around the galaxy so much.

MAAAARIIIIII
I need your help.
Ok so, How to write?
I told you that I write, right? Well actually I didn't write them properly. I wrote them in screenplay format.. Now I want to write them properly but I don't know how 😭😭 my mind is blank.. Even when I manage to think up on how to write, it's so shit.. I have so many ideas but I have no clue on how the heck am I supposes to put them out.. Do you have any advice? How do you usually write? Please help.
*casually implodes* alright. Okay. Excellent.
This just might be the best ask I’ve ever received. I’ve always wanted to teach others how to write, I’m really passionate about writing stuff, and I’m majoring in education in university rn, so I sure hope I can answer this well lmao
But, nevertheless, I finally have the opportunity:
✨ Mari’s Writing Crash Course that I may or may not have composed while tipsy: a short guide to novel formatting ✨
There’s only, truly, three factors that are the most noticeably important: Formatting, Dialogue and Writing Voice.
You said you’ve been writing in screenplay format? Immaculate. You’re already halfway there. If you know how to write ANYTHING (short stories, novels, screenplays) you already- hopefully- understand the basis of composing stories. Character arcs, plot lines, worldbuilding, etc. I’m not getting into ANY of that, bc your ask referred to formatting and formatting only. I gotcha luv.
The Step One: The Key to Novel Formatting
You’ve already written in screenplay format before. That’s great. You’re already, like, more than halfway there. I’ve tried screenplaying before, but I never got that far in. Not my best medium.
I’m assuming what you’ve worked on before looks like this (format wise, not content wise lmao)
Tumblr media
Caps lock indication, space down, and dialogue.
Well here’s the neat thing: novel writing, while very different from screenplays, is much closer to screenplays with more detail:
Tumblr media
Caps lock indication, italicized setup, space down, and dialogue.
OTHER THAN describing the camera angles, this has very similar content to a novel: describing portions (sometimes equal portions, usually not) of both dialogue and descriptions.
So! Remove the caps lock indication on who’s speaking, make that italicized setup into the flow of a paragraph, remove all the stuff on camera angles, and put that dialogue under quotation marks.
Now it looks like this:
Tumblr media
OH WOW! IT LOOKS LIKE A NOVEL NOW!!
Don’t overthink it: you just take your same thoughts from your screenplay format, and then… transfer it. Piece of cake 🍰
The sub-category of Part One; Part One Extended I guess: Present or Past Tense
What tense do you want your novel to be written in? Present tense? Past tense?
I used to say, “ ALL books are written in past tense. Because as the reader, we’re looking into a story that has already been written. If a book is in present tense, that means the story is unfolding, that means the author is writing it while we’re reading it, and that’s impossible since we’re holding the copy of the book in our hands. NO books should be written in present tense 😡👎”
And then I opened up The Hunger Games and saw it was in present tense.
So it looks like I’m just wildly wrong about that.
I will say tho, most books are written in past tense. And that might, or might not, be more comfortable for the reader and writer. However, it is up you. Contrary to my former opinion, there is no right or wrong tense for your book to be in.
Here is a visual guide:
Tumblr media
Once you pick one, though, stick with it. Jumping between past and present these, UNLESS it’s for any stylistic choice (character’s flashbacks, time travelling, etc.) will most likely be awkward to read.
The Step Two: The Importance of properly formatting dialogue
Quotation marks go THROUGHOUT a sentence.
“Why don’t you guys go look at my taco salad post” and “she said” is all ONE BIG SENTENCE.
“Why don’t you guys go look at my taco salad post.” She said. ❌
“Why don’t you guys go look at my taco salad post,” she said. ✅
Each dialogue before the end of the sentence completes with a comma instead of a period. Exclamation marks and question marks can be used in whatever dialogue format, since they’re tone indicators. There aren’t strict rules for tone indicators.
Commas and periods aren’t really tone indicators, so there’s a quick key on how to write that stuff:
Remember, if dialogue ends with a “she said” “she exclaimed” “she spoke” etc. etc. etc. it’ll be part of the same sentence. But, if dialogue ends with an action “she walked to the door” “she took a forkful of that taco salad” etc. etc. etc. it’ll be an entirely new sentence.
THIS is what it looks like:
Tumblr media
Also, not every set of dialogue needs to have an end quote to it. This is what that looks like:
Tumblr media
I mean, you could but brackets in dialogue. But I just want to warn you: I read a book like that, can’t recall the author’s name, and it distracted me greatly from the characters, plot, atmosphere, etc. I’d stay away from that.
The Step Three: The Writing Voice
So what is narrative voice, anyways?
Tumblr media
This is essentially how you form your entire story. The tone, emotion, and descriptions of your story.
I know, I know, the idea that every single word you use reveals your writing style might sound daunting, but trust me, writing voice comes naturally. As long as you let it come naturally.
Essentially: people who know you really well, your closest friends and family, who recognize your quirks, your colloquialisms, and your speech patterns, will most likely recognize your writing style. Because it will sound like you.
And that’s all writing voice is. Your own style. Even this answer I typed out for your ask, it’s in my writing style. It’s in my voice. It’s a blend of eloquent words, long sentences, and a dash of humour here and there. My novel, albeit sounding obviously much different than me making a post on tumblr, also sounds like this. To an extent.
You write like how you speak, even if you’re writing from a specific character’s perspective.
An example is Rick Riordan’s writing sounds wildly different from Becky Chamber’s writing. Even though they’re both talented and hard working, excellent writers. Every book looks different Every book sounds different. Every book feels different.
So, how do you find your own writing style?
Of course, a published novel of yours will sound different than your personal diary. But, those differences aside, they both have your voice. So let yourself speak, let yourself write.
Your story is going directly from your brain, to your laptop screen, or pen and paper, or whatever. Let yourself get into it. Sometimes I read what I’m writing out loud. Sometimes I don’t. Do not overthink your writing voice, or try to force your novel to sound more formal, or more casual, or more poetic, or more or less descriptive, or more wordy. Just let it be.
The more you write, and the more drafts you create, you’ll find your writing voice without even needing to search around for it.
There is a website called, I Write Like This. You can copy and paste passages of your writing, a few hundred words at a time if you want, and it’ll analyze your flow of descriptions, dialogue, punctuation, and match it up with whatever famous author your voice sounds similar to.
I copy and pasted my entire second chapter, a few thousand words, and this is my badge:
Tumblr media
My writing voice is similar to our beloved @neil-gaiman . Of course, our writing voice is not identical, as no two authors ever are, but the flow of the writing, the mood, the tone, the energy… it’s a little bit on the same page.
The bonus step four: write shit 💩
You said you write shit?
Good.
Write shit.
This is odd advice to give, I know. But when I say write shit, I mean as a start.
If you had sent an ask saying, “I’ve NEVER touched a pen, paper, or laptop in my life, I don’t know how to write!!” I’d be… daunted. Not an impossible task, but a daunting one. Just slightly harder to get into, slightly harder to give advice for.
I’d much rather you write like shit than not write at all. The hierarchy goes like this:
Good writing >>> shit writing >>> not writing at all.
I can’t remember where I heard this from, but to quote, “you can edit a poorly written page, but you can’t edit a blank page”.
So go, my lovely Sana. Be free. Write all the shit in the world. Fill up your pages. Get writers cramp. Get writers block. Recover from writers block. Make typos. Make messes. Write glorious, delicious, silly, stupid, and beautiful things. Your first draft is not supposed to be perfect. The time will come for pristine, polished, ready-to-be-published writing, and you do not need to rush into there. At all.
Write shit 💩 New-writing is the most necessary shit in this world.

Hey so can i have some interesting bird facts? I'm writing a story with a character who loves birds and i would like to hear bird facts that i can make the character tell others
YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE PERSON THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING.
here are some of my favorites off the top of my head!!
- crows can remember faces and hold grudges! not only that, but they can also spread gossip amongst other crows which can be passed down generationally. if you wrong a crow, there’s a chance even its descendants will despise you
- hoatzins are born with small hooked claws on their wings to grab onto branches when they’re chicks! chicks will hold onto branches and, when faced with danger, they can and will drop themselves into water and SWIM to safety!! cool, right? however, as hoatzins mature they shed their claws and lose their ability to swim- as they have no need for those things anymore
- woodpeckers have long tongues that are supported by the ‘hyoid bone’, two thin strips that run through their tongue and wrap all the way around their skull. basically, woodpeckers have long ass tongues that touch their own skull. they also have been prone to using their tongues as self defense; their tongues are long and sticky so they stick it out at other birds to freak them out lmao
- bearded vultures have the strongest stomach acid of any animal in the world. around 90% of their diet consists of pure bone that they swallow and digest whole. on top of that, despite being born snow-white in color, bearded vultures in the wild are often seen with shades of red and orange painted onto their feathers. for purposes ornithologists have yet to understand, these vultures cover themselves in red dirt and other substances to make their feathers a more desirable color. the theory is that they use this to prevent feather degradation, but I like to think they just enjoy being fancy..
- frigatebirds are a huge subject of interest for scientists because nobody knows exactly how they manage to sleep while flying so much. these birds fly for extended periods of time over large bodies of water, and despite never coming in for a landing- they usually end up being fine. the hypothesis is that they actually take 10 second or so long power-naps while mid-flight, only resting part of their brain so that they can still operate their eyes and wings. neat, right?
- oilbirds, who get their name from the fact that historically people have been known to cook them as chicks for their oil, can echolocate like bats!! this fruit-eating little guy is also the only bird in its family, steatornis, which.. literally just translates to ‘fat bird.’ this is because, as chicks, oilbirds are born and raised to be significantly fatter than their parents. oh also, sometimes they scream so loudly and tragically that they’ve earned the nickname ‘guácharo’, roughly meaning “one who laments.”
- the closest living relative to the dodo is the nicobar pigeon! In fact, dodos are even considered a subset (raphinae) within the pigeon/dove family- columbidae. so… in short, dodos were basically big flightless pigeons. the more you know!
- kiwi eggs take up around 15% of their entire body weight, and are actually considered to be the largest eggs in relation to body weight of any other bird…. despite the fact that kiwis are super small. kiwis are also very reproductive, so females tend to lay a lot of eggs in their lifetime.. like.. close to 100. long story short: ouch.
- birds have knees and ankles and they bend pretty much just like ours!
roping back to corvids.. sorry they’re my favorite hehe
- jackdaws and rooks have been known to not only mate for life, but also choose their partners before they even reach sexual maturity. when eventually reaching maturity, as well, they stay by their partner’s side even if faced with continuous reproductive failure. they’ve also been observed keeping familial bonds and forming friendships!! very social and sweet members of the corvidae family
- the common raven has around 79 different vocalizations and scientists don’t even really understand half of them.
- crows have ACCENTS!!! ok so.. not in the way you’re probably thinking, but it’s the closest a bird can Get to an accent!! and it’s pretty damn cool!! depending on where they live, crows will have vocalizations catered specifically to their area’s murder. the vocalizations remain the same, but have a sliiiightly different tone to them. accents!!!!
- crows understand the concept of zero. this may not seem super revolutionary, but considering the fact it took our overall society to figure it out.. that’s pretty damn cool. (obviously societies preceding us like the mayans had an understanding of zero far before the rest of us did, but it’s still pretty neat!!)
SO YEAH!! THERE ARE YOUR BIRD FACTS!!!!! I never get to talk about this so sorry there’s so much— I got excited haha
I have a lot more but I condensed them to this little list of the ones I find the most interesting! hope this helps!!!!

brother crab's summer 2024 first impressions: boku no tsuma wa kanjou ga nai
this is going to be an interesting start to the season, because instead of deciding on what i'll be watching in advance like i usually do, i'll be watching a bunch of first episodes and seeing what sticks
first up is bokutsuma, which... did not originally make it onto my planning. the premise didn't sound like it would appeal to me at all, but for tosshi i'm down to give it a try
i'm... kind of? glad i did? i think? it has some fascinating elements for sure, but i don't think i can really take it as the romcom that it's apparently meant to be
Tumblr media
lonely, overworked salaryman gets a 'house appliance' to help with housework. only the 'appliance' is girl-shaped so naturally he falls in love with her. she purportedly has no emotions, but signs indicate she may be capable of developing them
there are some details here that i really like, for example when mina (the robot) speaks, she doesn't move her mouth. and of course she wouldn't! why would she, if her 'voice' comes out of a speaker of sorts? that adds such a fantastically unsettling layer of eeriness to the whole thing, and i can't remember seeing a humanoid robot depicted like this before
the very fact that she's referred to as a 'household appliance' is deeply unsettling, in a good way, to me too. takuma (the guy) isn't unaware that she's, in theory, 'just' an appliance. but he's so lonely that it doesn't stop him from developing feelings for her, whether she can reciprocate or not
which is what makes the whole thing just... incredibly sad, rather than funny, to me. the way i see it, there's only really one of two ways the series can go
either mina can't feel emotions or she can
if she can't, and doesn't have the functionality to learn, then we have a tragicomedy of sorts, of this incredibly lonely salaryman who is so alone in the world that he falls for an unfeeling appliance and sees signs of 'feeling' where there aren't any <- i feel like this is the more unlikely option
the other option is she does feel, or will learn to feel. but that's a pretty sad outcome too, given that we already know she's a secondhand robot. was she feeling when her previous owner sold her? and as her emotions grow, will she ever question or resent her existence as an appliance?
it feels like rather than get too philosophical about this, the story plans to get cutesy with it. like she'll learn to love because of takuma's love, and everything will be fine because takuma treats her well. what a good man! he even offers to do half the chores despite buying a housekeeping robot specifically because he doesn't have time to do chores! but like...
there is still something existentially horrific about the whole thing
judging by the op it seems like we'll meet more characters, human and robot alike, and it'll be more of a 'fun' slice-of-life than some sort of psychological horror. so i'm really undecided on how i'll feel about this one in the end, if i continue with it, but must be said that there are some really neat elements (still can't get over how mina doesn't move her mouth when she talks! that is so! like such a brilliant way of setting the tone... but it is a creepy tone! which doesn't seem to be what the series is going for so ??? much concern over this disconnect but we'll see)
i'll give this a few more episodes. for tosshi

Okay give us the TC movie ranking, and know Punct and I will be taking notes
Also have you seen Collateral yet bc yooooooooooooooooo
I have not I need to see it!!!! I might make another ranking once I’ve seen more of his films cause the list isn’t That long rn. There are so many of his movies on my to-watch list
So far of his movies I have seen: all the MI films, Edge of Tomorrow, The Firm, Risky Business, Oblivion, Jerry Maguire, Top Gun, and Top Gun Maverick. For those films, my ranking is below (top to bottom):
1. Mission: Impossible (specifically 1,5,6,7 but I’m partial to 2 and he does great acting in 3 and 4 so I’m just gonna put the whole franchise at the top for simplicity’s sake. This is my least objective ranking cause I love this fucking franchise) I just think MI is neat. I think TC has had a chance to do something really unusual with Ethan Hunt and I really fucking love it. The movies are excellent action films but they also just consistently feel personal and well crafted and thoughtful. Love this franchise so fucking much
2. Risky Business—honestly I can’t say enough good things about this movie. It’s emotionally complex and emotionally unusual and hurts to watch in a cathartic way that sticks with you. This might be some of TC’s best acting although there’s also just a very particular awkwardness and vulnerability to the role that he doesn’t usually get to portray in his later films. I don’t want to be the guy that says his best acting was when he was young, and I don’t think that’s true, but his acting was definitely fucking spectacular when he was young
3. Top Gun: Maverick. TC is beyond excellent in this movie. He holds up most of the main emotional threads (gonna say something blasphemous to TGM fans here but when I watched it I felt like the only actor who truly kept pace with him was Val Kilmer in their one scene together.) it’s a testament to him that the movie is as strong as it is. And it is really strong!!
4. Edge of Tomorrow—this is a personal thing for me I could see the Firm being ranked over EOT but I like EOT better. Bottom line for me if I had to choose one of them to watch I would choose EOT every time. TC is so great and expressive and funny in it and Emily Blunt is just epic as Rita and even though I have some issues with it they’re pretty nitpicky. I like that it’s a very genre-standard movie that has its own ideas, and there are some really interesting moments where the movie Does Something that’s surprising and emotional and doesn’t just follow the formula. But it’s also just entertaining. I feel like it’s more than the sum of its parts and I loved it more than I expected to. It’s the kind of movie that I can’t help engaging with when I watch, which wasn’t the case with the Firm, I felt like I had to “buy in”
5. Top Gun—yes I know I just said firm could be ranked above EOT. I also feel like it could be ranked above Top Gun cause I do think Firm is a more well done film. I expected to like Top Gun more than I did…but the things I did like about it hit me hard and left an impression. What I really liked about it was literally just Mav and Goose. Goose is the fucking center of the movie and Mav works as a character because of his relationship with Goose. The scenes with them got to me hard, shout-out to “you’re the only family I’ve got,” gotta be one of my favorite crying wailing moments. This might be controversial but I didn’t like Charlie and that weakened the film for me
6. The Firm—pros of this movie, Jeanne Tripplehorn. She’s stunning in it. I love TC and he does good work here but he never gets to her level. Cons, the suspense didn’t totally hit (although I know people who thought it totally did so that might be me) and the emotional beats didn’t really impact me they just landed and I thought oh that’s interesting. I never went rabid which for me is a necessity to recommend a movie highly, although it’s a personal thing and isn’t based on movie quality
7. Oblivion—I am actively angry at this movie because it has so much potential and it does not work. I would 10/10 watch it again to yell at the screen and go apeshit over the scenes that hit and be filled with disappointment and rage and shut my laptop feeling deeply unsatisfied and highly emotionally affected. It’s a solid watch, the aesthetic sense is amazing (I would give it all up for TC in white leather) and it’s very entertaining. What I loved about it was that it had these striking and unexpected emotional beats. And then just when I felt invested it would shapeshift into a standard schlocky sci fi action film. To the point of undermining and sacrificing all the emotion it already set up. And in the end you come out of it having seen something that feels emotional and tense and thoughtful and meaningful—like 50% of the time—but completely falls apart thematically when faced with a stiff breeze. There are parts of this movie that literally haunt me. And there are parts of this movie that are just bog-standard, amateurish. And I’m so mad about it. This is the kind of movie that makes you plot out The Secret Good Version in your head at 2 am (guess what I was doing at 2 am last night)
8. Jerry Maguire—I HATE putting this movie here!! Because I know (/know of) two people whose lives were directly impacted by seeing this movie, one of whom became the concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic after seeing this movie, and I watched it years ago and it was my first experience with TC and I wanted to like it so badly. And I just didn’t. It did not work for me. I would really like to see it again to see if it works better now that I’m. Was I even a legal adult back then? God knows. Passage of time is a mindfuck. Anyway I don’t actually believe this is the worst of these movies I just didn’t connect with it for some reason and I might see it again in case that changes on rewatch

*I hiss and scamper up a tree and throw rocks with my questions painted on them through your window*
Songs you associate with any of your characters? You know like the thing where you listen to a song and make up an animatic in your head?
What's everyone's favourite colour?
What do the museum archives people do in their free time?
Are any of your characters scared of storms? For no reason in particular.
Opinions on tea? (From the characters) (I mean you can say yours too if you want)
Are there any other metaphors?
What would happen if the main character(s) from all your stories met each other?
Is there anyone in specific the mind burglars are working for or is it just, like, highest bidder?
Similarly, what happens to the stolen memories? Do the victims still have them? How difficult is it do steal a memory? What makes one memory different from the one that happens after it? How many can you steal at once? (This one is like 5 questions badly concealed in a way too small trenchcoat)
Cats?
Alas!
AHHHHHH anyways
Some have more soundtrack feel but:
Jules: Mayonaka no Door/ stay with me, Charlie: Murder on the dancefloor by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Malik: Good-old-fashioned lover boy by Queen
Ed: Got my mind set on you by George Harrison, Anthony: Rocket Man by Elton John, Norna: You’re my best friend by Queen, Cecil: Long Away also by Queen, Maura: Killer Queen ALSO BY Queen, Roscoe: Don’t bring me down by ELO
Mathildis: Rowing, Cavendish Lab, Collapsing Inwards and A Spacetime Singularity by Jóhann Jóhannsson. All have a very nice science feel and kinda follow in the tone how Mathildis changes I think.
Treeve: Restless by Abel Korzeniowski and The Moon Will Sing by the Crane Wives
They both also have a song together ig? which is Your Blood by Aurora
The Kilmoores have I‘m Dying Mother, Cian has a more soundtracky song named QKThr by Aphex Twin which I think kinda fits (although it sounds a little more peaceful) because it sounds kinda disjointed and heavy. I had a really weird thought recently where I thought that sound design from Cian’s pov like in cinematic format would sound super neat.
2. I don’t know everyone‘s. I think Norna likes orange, Cecil blue, Ed purple, Jules like a burgundy red and Mathildis green.
3. They live in a city so. city stuff I guess. But they also hang out with each other and go pet animals at a shelter. Stuff I‘d like to do ig. They also listen to music a lot?
4. Malik maybe because he can’t hear that well when it’s stormy. It’s a little scary to him.
5. Tea‘s good with milk and honey (mine). The museum archive guys are indifferent. Roscoe is trying to push tea because it’s a little less strong than coffee that has his team all jittery (looking at Norna and Cecil). The science guys drink it if they want to be fancy. The Kilmoores drink tea like, all the time even if in crisis it’s only little ugly dried leaves. Maybe with a shot in it or smth.
6. Huh, idk honestly. The mind burglars have kinda this thing about how abuse (even if only emotionally) fucks you up. The museum archives look a lot at death and grief. Baldur‘s death is how people were manipulated and trained by politics during the war and what that leads to. Kilmoore is about how the war fucks people up directly. Yanno.
7. They‘d probably be confused as hell and try to stick together. Especially Cecil, Mathildis and Cian would be puzzled as hell at each other because weren’t they in different situations, they’d probably think the same. Roscoe wouldn’t like Treeve probably. Ed would try to explain communism to the Baldur’s death and the Kilmoore guys which is a bad idea because they’re alternate universe wartime people.
8. The highest bidder. They be doing it for the cash. Usually it’s corporate shitheads.
9. „Steal“ is more like „we remember the information and submit it.” There’s also overwriting, where you alter a memory to influence a person, but if done wrong, it can cause the person’s sense of self to deravel. Victims do still have them. Complete removal is impossible.
It’s difficult as heck, not only do you have to get past the person’s brain and manipulate them without noticing, you also sometimes come across some pretty fucked up shit in their minds and have to get through to get deeper, and you have to go deep a lot of times. A lot of times you need to keep the person unaware and make them feel as if they’re still conscious, which is why you need a team to tweak stuff. It’s not like you’re rifling through records; it’s like you’re in a place. Steal at once is difficult- the distinction between individual memories is not black and white, and as you go through you see and “steal” a lot of stuff. Fun fact: Cecil has trouble with his memories deraveling later in the story. Say Yipeee to traumatizing slow memory loss!
10. Cats are great. Most of them probably lovee cats.

I never saw the Wolf Pack from Satam as being native American esque. If anything they always came off as vaguely Greco-Roman to me
Do me a solid and tell that to Tumblr. And Twitter. And the Sonic fan wiki. Because that's precisely why the Wolf Pack are dogshit at being Native American rep.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Knowing that Pat Allee and Ben Hurst also cartoonified Cherokee history in their version of a play meant to generate revenue for the Uyá·taʔ nation dealt an extra round of psychic damage. The Wolf Pack are laughable stereotypes at best, but now I know these guys really were that racist in their work like holy shit
Like, we don't "place curses on people" because you're fucking with witchcraft, and fucking with witchcraft is one of the four things traditional Haudenosaunee avoid doing at all costs. You don't mess with kačíkačiks even in jest because it’s a sin. Or more specifically, something that saddens the Creator.
Apropos of a lack of research, if you knew Native folks in general, you'd pick up on how we tend to be... I guess, not superstitious per se, but sensitive to the supernatural, particularly with scary or unpredictable encounters. Rez stories usually include some form of "I was walking down the road at night and saw the most fucked-up thing ever and ran back home lmao fuck that." There are some things you just don’t do or say because there are understood to be specific consequences. Because of that, Indians tend to be wary of occult stuff like Ouija boards, whereas white people tend to be more cavalier about it.
This wouldn't be particularly obscure knowledge to come by, either; just look at Native memes on YouTube and you'll see some variation of that sentiment. That's how I know the writing tells on itself.
Now granted, I don't know how other tribes feel about the matter, but given how Pat Allee was once described as being "an expert on Native American tribes," you'd think that she would be above writing lazy stereotypes.
Sonic bloggers think the Wolf Pack's fake curse is a neat subversion of expectations because ~lmao the Natives are sticking it to the colonizers~ when the real subversion would simply not have them place (fake) curses at all.
Tumblr media
This isn't the only thing wrong with the Wolf Pack, I'm just pointing it out to illustrate the gulf between writing and reality.
~incredibly indigenous-coded~, they claim, and then say "living in huts," "in harmony with nature," and speak of indigenous culture as a monolith with zero awareness of the stereotypes involved. ever heard of a Longhouse? or a wiigiwaam? do you know what land stewardship is by any chance?
I legit cannot with people any time someone compares colonization to the suffering of fictional cartoon characters. yes, what these fictional wolves went through at the hands of a fictional egg-shaped man is definitely the same thing as my great-grandma getting the language beaten out of her at residential school. /s
also, if the Wolf Pack lived in pueblos, then they cannot be Eastern Native American. that's like saying Russians eat baguettes and smoke while reading highbrow literature under the Eiffel Tower. like what.
"living in huts" brb going to go gnaw on the nonexistent drywall of the hut that I live in

3, 11, 13 and 14 for the Fire Emblem ask game?
3. What titles have you played? So far I've only been able to play the newest titles, Awakening, Fates, Echoes, Three Houses (and it's Warriors spinoff), and Engage, although I've technically played the DS Shadow Dragon remake via an emulator bc my DS copy got sold but I just uh, got bored and have never finished it. Also playing FE on a computer emulator's a...really weird experience and I prefer using a console, so I've had a hard time getting into the older games (although I did read the entire script for Path of Radiance and part of Radiant Dawn, and one of these days I'll watch playthroughs of both games if IntSys doesn't remake them or port them to a system I actually have).
11. A character that deserved better? Oh where to start. I feel like a lot of the Fates cast suffered in the characterization department bc there were so many characters and the writing team got stretched way thin, and so there's a lot of playable characters that get ignored by both IntSys and the fandom who I think are a delight if people would just look past their joke trait for five seconds, but for unplayable characters I think Lilith could have benefited from more attention bc she's very cool but there's so much going on in Fates that she's kinda...sidelined too. (Also I have a Lot of thoughts about Ikona as a character despite her being very dead, never getting a design, and barely having any story significance, but that's probably more a me thing).
For Echoes definitely Faye (rip) bc damn if the writers and fans didn't do her dirty. Like Fates, we'd be here all day if I listed every grievance I had about every 3H character, but my guy Cyril deserves the world and not the treatment he got from the writers (mostly for the spinoff) and especially not from fans. For Engage, which I am fairly happy with overall, well...Marni, you would have loved Alear's giant friend-family-group if only the writers loved you as much as I (and a few other fans) do.
13. What do you like most about Fire Emblem? Oooh, there's a lot, I mean I keep coming back to the series for a reason, right? I really enjoy the overall gameplay but especially some of the weird mechanics that make it so I can do wild things every playthrough despite usually sticking to similar strategies overall. Narratively I love, love, love the characters and especially the supports, there's always such a wide variety. It's also really neat to see the art style change every few games bc it means there's never really one "look" to FE (even if I'm way biased bc Hidari has been my favorite lead illustrator so far; I really do enjoy seeing all the different art styles, it's so fun). Also the music is always excellent, and I've actually quite enjoyed the full voice acting the past few games
14. Something you really don't like about this series? The fandom. I mean, okay, yes there's lots of things I could complain about for the games themselves (I'm not fond of the loli dragons as a visual design trope, I think a lot of the fantasy racism is handled in poor taste, I'm not a huge fan of the split-routes as a gameplay or story mechanic, the gender-locked classes are so stupid to me, etc. etc.), but like? Honestly more so over the past few years than when I first got into FE, the fandom's been a really exhausting experience bc any problematic tropes that get used in the narrative are nothing compared to the actual issues I've come across in the fandom (i.e. some fans are racist--and specifically antisemetic--towards other fans over these fictional characters, and honestly I think real live people getting harassed over some fiction media is way scarier than the issues of race being handled poorly by the writers).
Like, yes I still haunt the FE tag bc I have half the fandom here blocked, but it's exhausting to have to keep updating my blocklist after so many years. Anytime I talk to someone in-person about FE I always add the "but listen the online fandom sucks, so maybe avoid it". Like, sure the fandom's not as toxic as what I've heard about some other games, but damn.
Not to say the fandom's all bad--I never would have found your blog if not for FE, and there are so many fans who are chill and fun, and I love seeing all the fanart and headcanons and theories and other fun things, and I do enjoy reading a good critical analysis when I can find one too as well as just general analyses like when people look at the Buddhist themes in the games or the recurring narrative themes (brings me back to reading research papers in college if they're written a certain way), and I still love making my own art stuff for FE and coming up with my own silly headcanons and theories and analyses. Because despite everything my experiences with the negative side of the fandom have somehow, miraculously, not withered my deep love of the characters and series overall. So like, there is a lot of good here too, and I try not to focus so much on the negative aspects of things I enjoy bc it doesn't do anything for me. But sometimes I am Very Tired, y'know?

Ramble#12 - Delinquency
This month's episode is on delinquent manga, a pretty dope but unfortunately pretty dead genre. That may just be my underexposure speaking but it seems to me that the delinquent pipeline seems to get dryer and dryer every year.
I was hoping to find a bunch of new rad delinquent manga this month but honestly it was a pretty weak month for reads but nonetheless let's get into it
top 5 delinquent manga read this month:
#5) Wolf Guy: Ookami no Monshou by Tabata Yoshiaki (complete with 117 chapters, I only got 56)
Tumblr media
Just gotta say right off the bat, even though I haven't finished either wolf guy or akumetsu by the same author I very much prefer akumetsu [spoken on before in ramble#4, Mystery, Madness & Mayhem]
Regardless the premise here in wolf guy, is basically that there's this guy that turns into something wolf like (yes a werewolf) and how his nature seems to attract bad news
My main problem with the series is how much they ask you to suspend your belief as the students are in middle school and are closer to terrorism than delinquency, it gets very very wild, a little too wild for me, fairly solid art but I would warn folks to approach with major caution if they decide to pick this up
#4) OUT by tatsuya iguchi (ongoing with 206 English chapters)
Basically the story here is a dude just got out of juvie and has to avoid trouble so he moves out of town to the sticks, and if that had played out well for him there'd be no story here. So ofc one of the first things that happens is him getting into a fight with the VP of the top gang in the area.
Luckily delinquents tend to respect guts and nobody else was around so that played out well enough for him except now he's wrapped up in the arguments of the local gangs who are on the brink of war.
My main problem with OUT is that the camaraderie usually present in delinquent manga is almost non-existent here, no vibes, just violence. I will say it's got pretty decent art, and a number of pretty neat spreads.
#3) Bakuon Rettou by Tsutomu Takahashi (complete with 105 chapters, I read 46)
Tumblr media
Basically this one dude just didn't like boredom or the normal life or something so he got involved in a biker gang as if extracurricular activities didn't exist or something.
We follow this guy through his outward and internal changes as he gets deeper and deeper into the gang.
I was really excited to get to this because of the author but I was pretty disappointed in the end, maybe because I only got halfway but at least they had the same old beautiful art I had expected.
#2) Tokyo Revengers by Ken Wakui (complete with 279 chapters + an anime)
Tumblr media
Fairly popular so you may have heard of it, the story goes that the main character goes back in time to save his crush by joining the gang that kills her in the future, with the goal of becoming their leader so he can prevent his crush's death.
not gonna lie I really dug it in the beginning, the premise was a two punch combo of things I loved, I mean time travel + delinquency? In any case idk my love for it just petered out, then the ending was a bit wack, crazy style on almost every character tho.
#1) Durarara!! story by Ryougo Narita and art by Akiyo Satorigi
Tumblr media
Best thing I read this month, a bit surprised since I'd already watched the anime way back when but it was still super great.
The story is that a young lad named mikado ryuugamine moves to the big city of ikebukuro for high school in an attempt to shake off his normal day to day life. He meets up with his childhood best friend masaomi kida who shows him around town and gives him all the details of strange tales, urban myths and living legends.
The story is broken up into durarara, durarara saika arc, durarara yellow scarves arc & durarara re; dollars each about 20 - 30 chapters long
top 5 delinquent manga read ever: (I go off cuff for these so no transcript, but dude trust me)
#5) Kyou kara ore wa!! by Hiroyuki Nishimori (366 chapters)
Tumblr media
#4) Beelzebub by Ryuuhei Tamura (252 chapters)
Tumblr media
#3) Holyland by Kouji Mori (182 chapters)
Tumblr media
#2) Rookies by Morita masanori (233 chapters)
Tumblr media
#1) Clover by Tetsuhiro Hirakawa (401 chapters)
Tumblr media
honourable mention: great teacher onizuka gto
thanks for listening, if you'd like to see specific scores my anilist is in the link above and additionally there's a small off cuff part 2 in the episode where I talk a little bit more about what I like about the delinquent genre

Also for the WIP game:
How the team studies
I know they're probably studying, but the "how" has me curious 👀
Okay!
So, this was just me coming up with different methods for how each member of the main cast usually studies. Each have their own methods that factor into their personality and weaknesses/strengths/interests. Character quirks basically.
For context: Karim is good at drawing, and his memory relies mostly on visuals rather than text, so he draws quick and rough sketches/diagrams to remember things better, or to mark the important stuff. He has another habit of writing stuff down a ridiculous number of times because using his hands works wayy better for him than verbally.
He also consumes an unholy amount of caffeine (like both coffee and energy drink straight after) because he pretty much has an addiction to that stuff. He might get a small snack if he's feeling up to it. He also uses painkillers because studying gives him migraines. He takes short and frequent breaks.
Nour is a guy who likes to eat. His crazy fast metabolism helps. So you bet anything that the guy is going to eat a ton of snacks while he works. He likes to stick all these random, brightly coloured post-its in his textbooks to make brief notes. He changes positions a lot, and he's really weird about it. See, he's pretty flexible, so you might find him hanging upside down while reading something. He generally has a good memory, so he only needs updates on the details (hence the post-its). His handwriting sucks. He takes a few very long breaks and works for long periods of time.
Asser prefers to watch videos to study because it helps him understand better than reading, since obviously it stimulates more senses. He takes notes on a computer because surprisingly he's faster at typing than writing. See, he's the team's designated hacker, and he's been hacking even before he met them, so his fingers are super used to it. He needs sugar to function, so he usually ends up drinking very sugary tea or eating something equally sweet.
He takes one break because it's really just him falling asleep in the middle.
Laila procrastinates a lot. So when she actually gets to the studying part, she has to do all the work in blocks. She doesn't eat or drink anything aside from a big cup of coffee. Just one. She doesn't have her brother's addiction. She has the best memory out of all of them, so just reading the material aloud well is enough for her to memorise it. In rare cases, she recites things. Whatever she solves, she scribbles down furiously. She writes very fast and it's somehow neat. She's a one-night crammer, but has the best grades. Her 'breaks' are honestly just procrastination.
Thanks for asking! I hope this satisfied your curiousity. ❤️

Hello! It’s park Ranger here and I’m making a blog to house one of my newest obsessions haha! The Stanley parable haha I plan to post a lot of art/my own lore or interpretations/ocs
I’ve really gotten into the game and have fallen over the idea and seeing peoples artwork has made me hype haha!
This first post is just a master post of my tsp designs/ocs lol
I have my own lore/have mixed lore with cannon so things are different slighty.
Idk if I plan to design more characters but for now I’ve got these guys!
Oh also your free to ask questions!
First up in my designs is the narrator/Elliot ! I really like his design I did haha it’s one of my favorites
I’ll include everything about him below his picture!(
Tumblr media
[C]🍀Basic info🍀
[C]Name: Elliot
[C]Nickname: Narrator
[C]Age: Who knows
[C]Hight true form: 1 ft
[C]Hight human form : 5’5
[C]Pronouns: He/Him/They/Them
[C]Gender: Trans male
[C]🌿Human Appearance 🌿
[C]When in human form he’s mostly ever wearing a black turtleneck sweater with a baggy brown jacket and a long yellow scarf. He always has a set of headphones always cat theme and pencils and paper stashed in his jacket or holding onto these items. He wears also black pants and brown boots. For the most part he keeps himself and his hair looking neat and presentable. His stars still stick away around and mostly hover near his headphones. He has a lil tail and mouse ears still too
[C]☘️True form☘️
[C]Very mouse like and tiny his body is mostly yellow with two star like things floating around his ears.
[C]🐝Personality 🐝
[C]
He’s pretty confident and self assured tries to play off being calm and collected. But easily can get exited over things he loves to ramble on about things and he’s usual pretty happy go lucky even way to nice sometimes for his own good. He’s also pretty easy to fluster over praise for things and has a pretty big ego.
But that can change pretty quickly if he feels he’s been slighted when mad he starts to get petty and complain and will go out of his way to annoy and will do mostly anything to get some control back.
[C]🌺Likes and dislikes🌺
[C]Likes
[C]Tea
[C]Storytelling
[C]Making up stories
[C]Praise for his stories
[C]cats
[C]Dislikes
[C]Negative feedback
[C]🥖Extra🥖
-His lil stars change colors to his mood if he feels strong emotions
-he’s actually pretty shy when around others and can get embarrassed quite easily
-his organization is a bit rough sometimes he misplaces papers or imported peices to his scrips and has to find them.
-He can only really use his powers when in his true form other wise he’s out of luck. He dose not really have control over the times he changes forms it’s a bit random and has left him in very dire situations.
-Over the many stories and resets the narrator and Stanley have reached an understanding with each other and at most times are cordial and willing to cooperate with the others whims(most of the time)
- His most embarrassing moment is him writing the 200 page bucket plot that made him and Stanley look like idiots
-has opened up to making new stories and places Stanley can go and his office is mostly a hub for the two. They honestly goof around a lot now or relax while Elliot makes new stories
-more to come
Next up is Stanley/negan he’s a funky lil dude
Tumblr media
[C]🍀Basic info🍀
[C]Name: Negan
[C]Nickname: Stanley or Stan or Ne
[C]Age: 25
[C]Hight : 6’5
[C]Pronouns: He/Him
[C]Gender: male
[C]🌿Appearance 🌿
[C]Black hair and 2 different color eyes(blue and green) with two cat ears. He always is wearing a black jacket with whitish shirt with a orange tie. He’s always either a bit neat or scruffy looking. With black dress pants and a cat tail.
[C]🐝Personality 🐝
[C] He’s very rough a bit easily agitated and quick to anger most times. He’s cocky, arrogant and self assured and stubborn . He’s the type to push back and press buttons. He dose not like to be told what to do but will go along with things if he feels like it.
Not one to scare easily he’ll stand his ground no matter the cost and will take extreme measures to get control back, pain rarely bothers him and sometimes he takes joy in it very rarely tho.
But when he gets to relax or wind down he’s pretty chill and nice to be around he dose have feelings of caring and will feel guilt if he genuinely thinks he’s hurting someone he cares about. He loves to cause a bit of mischief here and there as well.
[C]🌺Likes and dislikes🌺
[C]Likes
[C]sleeping
[C]swimming
[C] exploring
[C]Dislikes
[C] doing lame stories for nar
[C]🥖Extra🥖
-He’s not exactly sure why he ended up in this place with the narrator and the other won’t elaborate either. He has no memory if he had an old life but he really doesn’t care anymore. He dose wish he could get away and do things he wants to. But he’s content for the most part to play story piece as long as his adventures get changed up once in a while.
-has definitely lost his mind at one point and very much went on a patch of self destruction and breaking anything he could in rage. He will admit it was his lowest moment.
-he actually dose like some of the stories nar dose but will pretend most time they suck or are okay sometimes he is honest tho.
-He actually really liked the bucket plot it was so dumb and ridiculous it still makes him laugh and he brings it up as nars best work in jest.
-he dose actually care for narrator a lot and is willing to go along with things to hear him be happy most of the time.
-they’ve both understood that they can’t be at each other’s throats all the time and must cooperate tho it doesn’t stop negan from doing irritating things every once in a while.
-he really likes it when nar takes human form mostly because he can mess with him without immediate retaliation but it’s also fun to hang out and work on things.
- he has really completely feelings for the guy that flip on a dime. Like they could be best buddies then mortal enemies
-he actually really likes listening to him when he’s angry or he decides to go villan mode or just him on a power trip. The narrator can get very entertaining to him when pushed.
-he can transform into a cat but it’s rare he dose.
-more to come
Timekeeper (they don’t appear much lol )
Tumblr media
The timekeeper is an oddball
They’re mostly around whenever the narrators watch is able to gain sentience and then it’s chaos from these lol.
The nar is not able to do any resets on his own when this guy is out and they have to chase him down to revert him to a reg watch again
He dose not like that lol
There’s not really much to em tbh haha he’s just an oddball who really doesn’t get or do much pfft
Time is a pretty nice if not chaotic and pretty hyperactive.
They really love pizza a lot too like a lot
Next up the glitch (they appear very rarely)
Tumblr media
One of the most dangerous entities in the office.
They only really appear when a bad glitch happens. This glitch revolves around the narrator and him messing with something causing his powers to separate from himself and gain sentience.
While his powers are spilt he’s just like Stanley and basically a human
While this entity is made up of his powers it has a mind of its own and it hates and downright despises him for being so “weak” and stupid with his powers.
It goes out of its way to hurt the narrator and always rough him up in someways and has attempted murder on occasion.
It’s main goal whenever it’s out is to try and possess Stanley seeing him as worthy for his powers. He has used the narrator as bait before as they know he cares for him somewhat.
It is possible to defeat him by glitching/resetting a specific way but it’s always a hassle and has a low success at working lucky the glitch is only a rare occurrence
And lastly the curator!(diane)
Tumblr media
The curator is a very reserved figure. For the most part she is always calm and collected with a calculated stare.
When she speaks it’s usually with authority and a stern motherly tone. She’s no nonsense and doesn’t like disputes or fights.
She’s consider the boss/one really in charge and ranks high above the narrator in power and authority but she doesn’t really do much and is always in her little museum doing something the others aren’t quite sure of. She’s not one to really help unless it’s like extremely dire and quite literally will perma kill.
She keeps a lot of different things and not just stuff to the nars story in her museum.
She doesn’t show it or say it much but she enjoys the nars story’s a lot and is a fan of pretty much anything he dose for the most part. She thinks it’s cute he gets invested so much into it. And will sometimes if he’s in a bind with one will assist.

I can totally believe that people forget about a character's flaws like that
To stick with the example, Siete is "good". He's one of the good guys. His crew are good guys. So people forget about the manipulation, or tell themselves that he wouldn't do that now that we're all besties, he's the silly oniisan guy, after all
So they focus on one aspect of his personality and forget the rest
Fanfics definitely do that which is a shame cause the manipulation stuff can be sexy af, I said what I said
Grand Blues mostly focusing on how he's desperate to get the crew together and the CBT doesn't help, though you shouldn't take the freaking joke manga as gospel when it comes to character's personalities, of course they're caricatures
If I tell someone "Belial is a manipulative prick" they tend to agree, because even if the horniness might be more prevalent in their mind, he's an antagonist, so it checks out. Siete isn't antagonistic to us anymore/ for the moment
But it's silly to blame the event for your own misreading of the character
If it were a complete retcon of his personality, that'd be one thing, but it's not. It just showed more exactly how far he's willing to go at times. If you don't like that, it's not the event's fault
Yeah i would agree on that.
I think people love flawed characters but there are flaws that they deem too evil to process as likely to happen into "good" characters.
Manipulative behavior is one of them. Because after all we only call out on manipulators when their behaviors hurt others. We never think about the person who manipulates a conversation so that someone doesn't blow up in anger in their face, we don't think about people who would manipulate a bad person into doing a good thing.
Siete's manipulations can be pretty selfish, again it comes from this belief that he can handle everything by himself. and on a personal level, it doesn't help that his cheerful appearance is mostly to keep people from digging over his post personal side, which means he cannot get close to people by being personal, so he can often feel like it's easier to manipulate situations for him to get closer with people since being honest isn't on the table.
And like i wouldn't go as far as to say manipulation is morally neutral lmao but especially in a work of fiction i think it's important to remember that characters are going to act in conflicting ways, usually as an extreme response to the environment around them, and it goes double for stories that aren't set in our reality to start with.
But yeah i think that "lying" or "manipulation" can be such loaded behavior that some people may block out when "good" characters do it. it's not manipulation, it's just him tricking his friends to join him on vacancy because no one answers his calls :( and so on and so forth.
I think Fanfic would be the type to Flandernize like this, but tbh aside from the ones dropped in my DMs i don't read fanfics. So i didn't encounter this phenomena ahah.
as for Grand Blues, i would love to believe people are AWARE that this is an alternative universe made to be silly where everyone gets humiliated for the joke and it's not actually a representation of the characters, and it's why the April's fools event make it clear they are alternative self-- but i also know how it can become insidious knowledge.
I think on here when we talk about them we know it's just jokes and all, but i hope no one take them as a serious characterization template.
and yeah i think no one would deny Belial is manipulative because they know he's a villain, so of course he'd do villain things like that. Siete might have been antagonistic at some point but he was never framed fully as a villain, and while he could become antagonistic later if the safety of the skies is at stake, i think people would understand his reasons enough to not villainize him, which is neat! but it seems a bit of a hollow victory if it means they're unable to see that Siete has some darker sides to him to start with.
imo SoR totally played on this part of him that had been established in previous events and stories. I think it just also proved people that he isn't just going to touch people he deems to be villains, but that he can manipulate the people around him, the people he likes, and that's what people can't consider a good character to do. regardless of the fact that i think morality in Granblue characters is already pretty grey, but like... This is really not that far fetched.
I do think the event was very good at keeping Siete's prsonality, just focusing just on the extremes he's willing to go once he has a set goal in mind. People just didn't expect that he'd momentarily leave Seox to burn (knowing that he planned on saving him anyway) because even a temporary sacrifice felt like the most intense of betrayal. ... but it's not the writing's fault. Siete is just like that. And it's a character flaw the event calls Siete out on as well.
Idk man. i think we'd get better if instead of being "the writing is bad" when the behavior of a chara we like is uncomfortable we start thinking "but why would the writers develop this trait like that". Like. having some trust in the writers yaknow?

"Fatigue" is French for "Fatigue"
WHUMPTOBER 2023, DAY 26:26: “Sometimes I get so tired; I don’t even know myself.” Seeing Double | Working To Exhaustion | “You look awful.”
…yes, it's another HSAU flashback fic. Funnily enough, like "Crimson Shards", it's actually part of the official timeline, as it was mentioned as early as the very first entry of the series! To be exact, it's based on two different dialogue bits from two different fics, which you'll find quotes for in the end notes for this fic.
You know the gist: French AU, all characters live in honhon northern land, and stuff. This time, we're only a couple months before the start of the main timeline! Which I think is really neat.
Anyway all prompts are very HSAU Hikaru-core, so you know I had to do it to him. All of them. Yolo.

"Fatigue" is French for "Fatigue"
Summary: Hikaru is tired of exam season. Jun is tired of his best friend.
Fandom: Captain Tsubasa (funky French college AU edition)
Word Count: 1K words
AO3 version available here.
--------------------------------------------
There are a lot of good things Jun can say about his best friend: he’s earnest, he’s altruistic and he’s hardworking. In fact, that taste for hard work and pushing limits always further may be his main trait, at this point; because once Hikaru is focused on something, it’s close to impossible to push him out of that mindset.
It’s not such a good thing, sometimes, and this is one of those.
He hasn’t heard from Hikaru in quite some time, because the fool doesn’t check his phone anymore, it’d seem. None of his calls have gone through and none of his text messages, no matter how the app, have gotten any sort of response. This man has gone into laser-focus and left everyone on read, sometimes even less; and with Yoshiko busy with her own exams, it’s up to Jun to see if that guy hasn’t died yet.
To his relief, his numerous rings at his door haven’t gone unheard: soon enough (which is already late, coming from Hikaru and his usually quick reflexes), the door opens and he’s very nonchalantly greeted by none other than his good old pal.
“Oh, it’s you, Jun.”
The first thing that comes to his mind slips from Jun’s brain without any forewarning:
“You look awful.”
It’s an understatement: Hikaru is pale as a painkiller, his face is flushed with an obvious fever, he has rings darker than a squid’s main means of self-defence under his eyes, his hair is sticking out of every possible side, and he can’t settle between hot and cold, because who even wears such a thick plaid on their shoulders in June?
“Love you too,” he replies, snickering, but coughs almost immediately.
“Can I come in?”
“Oh, sure. Just don’t mind the mess around the place, cleanin’ would’ve meant losin’ time.”
They both enter the place. It’s just as much as a mess as a student flat can get, with papers strew all around the place, opened food packaging still lying in the unemptied trash bin and, of course, a bunch of empty energy drinks piling on in the kitchen.
“I thought you hated those,” Jun points out, pointing to the pile.
“I do, I just needed to stay awake longer,” Hikaru replies between two coughing fits.
“Ah, exam season, isn’t it?”
“Oral exam season. ’t was the fuckin’ worst.”
Another coughing fit erupts from him, this time much harsher, and Jun can’t help but seriously worry: Hikaru doesn’t just look awful, he sounds and act like it, from the slugging way he moves to their conversation that should be a lot more informed than that, not to mention the bazillion empty energy drink cans that can’t be good news.
Something must be done; Jun decides on the fly.
“Let me examine you.”
“What the fuck?”
“You look absolutely exhausted, Hikaru, I’m worried you may have something worse than overwork and a little cold going on.”
His friend glares right back at him, beyond unpleased at the turn of events – because of course he’d be – then sighs, shoulders dropping, tears at the corners of his eyes.
“What?”
“You wheeze when you sigh. Your lungs may be flooded.”
“That sounds bad.”
“Then sit down and let me do my thing.”
To his surprise, and surprisingly to a little bit of displeasure, Hikaru does just that: he sits down on his bed with an undisguised urge to lean against the wall. Jun may’ve seen it coming, considering he kept his personal medical tools with him and disinfectant to go along with it. He can only give it to Hikaru: for once, he isn’t resisting a check-up that isn’t some thinly veiled excuse to be in extreme proximity to Yoshiko.
His fears are confirmed as soon as he takes his friend’s temperature: the oral thermometer beeps with a 40 on display. None of the following routines he follows are any better: his heart beats way too fast, his lungs are crackling, and all cycles are overall in overdrive. That all sounds like textbook pneumonia to Jun, but he doesn’t even want to entertain the possibility, let alone how Hikaru somehow let all of that happen to him (or maybe he does, at least to appease his wild, wild imagination).
Speaking of Hikaru, he’s only mildly bothered by it all, since he continues talking as he examinates his eyes.
“I dunno for you, but…. Sometimes I get so tired, it’s like I don’t even know myself.”
“What do you mean?” Jun asks as he moves on to the ears, the only thing left remaining.
“I dunno… It’s like I’m not really here, at times. It’s not like I’m sleepy, I’m just not in my body anymore.”
“That sounds like dissociation, Hikaru. It’s a state beyond exhaustion.”
That barely affects him.
“Huh? Interesting, I guess.”
“How did you even get this drained? I’ve seen you tired before, but this is beyond anything you’ve pulled before.”
This question grounds Hikaru back down to Earth, it’d seem, because his gaze is suddenly slightly clearer.
“My exams,” he says, his voice as limpid as can be with vocal cords sore from excessive coughing. “That exam’s the hardest fuckin’ thing ever, and if I fail it, I dunno what I’m gonna do. I don’t have much money anymore and I don’t wanna be Yoshiko’s burden.”
“It’s the agrégation that got you in that state, huh.”
“Yeah. It’s over now, but… Fuck, it was shit.”
“Weren’t the results today?”
“Yeah, they were.”
“Did you pass?”
A slight smile purses Hikaru’s lips.
“Yeah.”
“Congratulation are in order, then. Now…” Jun has one last question – or couple of – to ask. “Does your head hurt?”
“Yeah.”
“How long ago have you last taken a painkiller?”
“Uh… I think that was three hours ago. When I came back from the store.”
Jun puts away his whole armada of tools.
“I need to bring you to a hospital,” he then announces.
“Why though…?”
“You may have pneumonia and I don’t want to risk it. Beside,” he tests something out on Hikaru’s arm, “you’re severely dehydrated. The only place you should be in is a bed.”
“B-but…”
“No buts. I’m the med student here and I’m not letting you do that to yourself again.”
Hikaru sighs, breathing still wheezing.
“Fine… I don’t have enough energy to fight you back anyway.”
“Good, a compliant patient is a good patient,” he tells him with a smile. “Come on, let’s get you some help, okay? You did all that you had to, now you can – and should – rest.”
“If you say so.”
“I’ll drive you there. Just think of your success for now, got it?”
“Gotcha.”
Despite it all, by the time they reach his car, they’re both smiling like fools.

0-Sen Hayato - Volume 4 (Final volume!)
Ch. 33
-This chapter was pretty dull and hard to follow. They kept repeating the same phrases over and over again. Old manga is so wordy.
-The only thing I really got out of this chapter was that they used aluminum foil to confuse/blind enemies in WWII. I had to fact check, but I guess this was a real tactic. Neat.
Ch. 34
-Really struggling to keep my eyes open reading this. This chapter was particularly tricky because a lot of it was American POWs speaking in katakana which takes me twice as long to read as normal Japanese.
-I believe what happened in this chapter is that the Americans tricked the Japanese into sending their best squadron away so that they could attack the weakest squadron that was left behind. Although I found the chapter itself boring, it did have a good cliffhanger where one of the guys from the weaker squadron is like "this is my first dogfight!"
Ch. 35
-The Shiuntai continue to fail at life while the Bakufutai go "nyah nyah, we're so much better than you!" They were awfully chill about 16 men dying in this chapter, but what else is new?
-Hayato and Ishiki fight over who gets to comfort an injured love interest-chan (forgot her name lol). Before she passes out she let's them know that the King Satan airplane was responsible for shooting up their base. Feels like things are ramping up for a final battle. Only 7 chapters to go!
Ch. 36
-Ishiki makes a failed attempt at fighting the final boss of this manga "King Satan." I don't really get it, this manga usually sticks to semi-realism (except for that one wacky chapter about sharks) but then they throw someone named "King Satan" at you. I think this is the first time we actually see his face? They made him handsome lol
-There's a character named "King Satan" in another 1960s manga called Tiger Mask, so I'm wondering if there's a connection there. Is this a shoutout? (Hayato came out first, so maybe not)
Ch. 37
-This was like the "tough guys cry about their feelings" chapter. First Ishiki gets all hysterical explaining his defeat to Hayato and then King Satan breaks down when he reveals that he was BFFs with Hayato's dad before the war. The drama! It was kinda funny how Hayato listened to his whole speech and was just like "I'mma still kill you tho..."
-I forget what country King Satan's supposed to be from. I was kind of assuming America, but I have no clue. (Edit: Considering his plane says USAF, safe to say he's from America)
-This chapter was very shounen-y. King Satan tells Hayato that he's not ready to fight him yet and to come back after he's trained more lol. At least King Satan's men reacted realistically (they were like "why didn't he shoot him down??")
Ch. 38
-Some interesting developments in this chapter. Ishiki and Hayato finally decide to stop bickering and team up after Hayato loses to King Satan. Also, Captain Miyamoto yells at Hayato and tells him that war is no place for personal feelings and revenge (he literally says "kill your feelings which felt very Naruto/ninja-esque)
-Ishiki and Hayato practice dogfighting "for real" but find they're evenly matched so Miyamoto agrees to spar with them. Seems kinda insane to me that you would actually shoot at one another's planes just to practice, but IDK enough about warplanes to call the manga's bluff lol.
Ch. 39
-Captain Miyamoto gives Ishiki and Hayato a big speech comparing samurai tactics to dogfights. I just barely followed it, but the boys boiled things down to "we need to find out King Satan's plane's weakpoint." So they decide to take a P.51 captive so that they can examine it closely and determine its weaknesses. Makes sense. Never really occurred to me that airplanes would have weakpoints...
-IDK why the boys were so shocked that they couldn't beat their captain in a dogfight. Pretty arrogant of them lol
Ch. 40
-After a big struggle, the boys manage to take an P.51 captive to start their experiment. One of the big bosses also shows up and declares a new, dangerous mission for the squad.
-I thought it was weird that Hayato and friends kept yelling threats to the American pilot. Number 1: how do they even hear each other? Number 2: I'm assuming their threatening the guy in Japanese because they would have indicated if otherwise. Surely this random American soldier doesn't understand them? Ah well...
Ch. 41
-The squad seek revenge when they find out another unit was wiped out. The chapter ends on a cliffhanger with Hayato and Ishiki's airplanes falling apart as they're surrounded by enemy planes.
-This is the second to last chapter for the whole series...I really thought they'd be fighting King Satan by now, but I guess that comes next!
Ch. 42
-Well, that was an abrupt and anti-climactic ending...I guess they wanted a triumphant ending and they couldn't go much further since Japan lost the war
-So it's revealed that Captain Miyamoto was shot down and killed by King Satan and the gang grieves for about 0.2 seconds. Hayato leads the charge to go after King Satan's base for revenge and in the fight (which happens in the rain) King Satan shoots down and kills Ishiki too! Bold of the mangaka to kill off major characters like that, but war is war. Hayato finally manages to shoot down King Satan who goes down laughing...the end.
Thank goodness I've finally reached the end of this series. It took me FOREVER to read due to the tricky Japanese and a lack of interest on my part. That being said, I'm glad I experienced a part of manga history. Storytelling in general was just super different in the 1960s in the east and the west. Tricky for us with modern sensibilities to sit through. Of course the art was very different too. I think the art was the best part of this series. Lots of care and attention to detail went into the panel layouts and action scenes. I hope someone translates this someday for WWII and old manga enthusiasts (it definitely won't be me lol).

All is Fair in Dice and War
Tumblr media
***Soooo, @bagelsinatoaster I love this request. However, you didn't specify which board game and as I am a huge nerd I decided to take some creative liberties and combine this with another idea I've been meaning to write which is: MC introducing the demon bros to Dungeons and Dragons. I certainly had fun with this and I hope you like it!*** Summary: Leviathan's world is flipped upside down when MC tells him there is a game that basically allows him to be the Lord of Shadows in real life!! He demands that his brothers join him as MC introduces them all to the chaotic shit show that is Dungeons & Dragons. For once, it was a peaceful day in the House of Lamentation. Lucifer was lounging in the living room with a cursed record playing softly in the background. For once, Satan had willingly joined him and was sitting by the fireplace, thumbing through a book on the human world. Belphie had been passed out on the couch when he arrived and was still laying there with an impressive puddle of drool collecting near his mouth. Even Asmodeus and Beel had joined in, with Asmodeus gently humming to himself as he painted his nails and Beelzebub happily munching on a snack as he enjoyed the sight of his family getting along. Yes. It was perfectly quiet and peaceful, and Lucifer didn't even have any traces of his regular migraine. But of course, nothing good lasts forever. Everyone jumped as the door slammed open and a wide-eyed Leviathan dragged you into the room. The two you very closely followed by Mammon loudly complaining. "Oi! You're gonna hurt them! Cut it out, Levi!" Lucifer sighed and closed his eyes, momentarily mourning the peace that he had just barely begun to enjoy, and closed his book. "Leviathan, let MC go. What are you freaking out about this time?" Lucifer regretted asking the moment the words left his mouth. Levi looked at it with the expression he only ever got when his limited edition Ruri-Chan merch arrived; his eyes were wide and glittering with excitement while his face bore a grin so large that Lucifer was surprised it didn't rip his skin. The third-born was practically vibrating as he let go of your wrist and pushed you forward. "Tell them! Tell them about the game!"
You laughed at Levi's excitement and casually rubbed your wrist. "I was just telling Leviathan about a game that we play in the human world called Dungeons and Dragons-" "You get to make a fantasy world that everyone plays in, and everyone makes characters. You can be a wizard and cast spells against a huge monster! Or a war hero fighter that has been betrayed by his brother! Or a noble knight who is looking for his lost kingdom! And the best part is that it's real!" Levi interrupted, nearly jumping in place as stars danced in his eyes. You put your hands out towards him to try and calm him a bit. "Well, not entirely real. It is played in person, but it's a role play tabletop game, meaning it mostly relies on the players' imagination. That is unless you have thousands of dollars to spend on 3D maps and figurines of your characters." Levi's eyes grew even wider, if possible, as he started shaking his hands up and down. "I CAN HAVE A FIGURINE OF A CHARACTER THAT I MADE?! GAAAAAAAAAHH!" A pillow flew across the room and hit Levi square in the face as a now awake Belphegor glared at him. "Will. You. Shut. Up?" the Avatar of Sloth hissed as a dark dangerous aura grew around him. Beel gently patted his twin's head in hopes of calming him. Leviathan pouted as he noticed no one else seemed to be getting excited about it. "C-Come on guys! This isn't even a video game! It's a thing that we can all do together and personalize it to be something that everyone will like. It'll be fun! Right MC?" You nodded as you gently tossed Belphie's pillow back over to him. "Yeah. I love D&D. I played it all the time in the human world. There's action, suspense, and even romance if you really wanted it," a couple of the brothers perked up at that. "I could put together a one-shot for you guys to try it out if you'd like? I'll help you make your characters, and we can all get together for an evening and play it sometime in a couple weeks." The room went quiet as everyone thought it over. Most of them had no interest in the game itself, but if it was organized by you... "I'm in," Beel decided with a nod. "I think it will be fun. All of us trying something new; it could be neat." Satan casually flipped a page in his book, "The creative aspect of it is definitely appealing. We'd be the masters of our own fate, and that most certainly piques my interest." Asmodeus smirked as he put the cap on his nail polish. "And you said it could be whatever we want? My, one might say that this game could help our wildest fantasies come true~" he made sure to wink at you as he giggled. Belphie, who had only just got back his pillow, scrunched up his face in disgust and launched it at Asmo. "Don't make this weird Asmo," he looked over at you and shrugged, "So long as you do all the work in putting together the character thing, sure. Why not?" Mammon looked over at you from the corner of his eye. "Ya mean to tell me, that you can make it so I'm some awesome, rich, and powerful prince?" Asmo scoffed as he pushed the pillow off his lap. "Please Mammon, even the world of make-believe has its limitations." Mammon blushed as he growled at his brother. You just chuckled and teasingly elbowed his side. "Don't listen to him, Mammon. There is a set amount of how much money you start out with depending on your class and background, but I'm sure we can find something that will make you happy." The second-born blushed even more as he grumbled quietly under his breath. Lucifer tilted his head in thought. "I suppose that if everyone else is playing, naturally I must as well," he stood and began to make his way to his office. "I look forward to seeing what you come up with MC." The next two weeks were spent planning and carefully figuring out the details of the one-shot and the characters that everyone was going to play. Levi was, of course, the first one who came to you to build his character. The two of you spent hours going through the Player's Handbook and sourcebooks to find the perfect build to recreate the Lord of Shadows. In the end, you put
together a human fighter that you gave a couple magic items to make Levi's vision really come to life. It seemed basic, but for the Lord of Shadows, it was perfect. The moment the two of you finished, Levi dove to his computer and ordered a custom-made mini that looked exactly like his character. Satan was genuinely interested in the game, especially after he learned about all the lore and rules behind the different classes and races. You had just been chilling in your room one day when the door burst open. Satan stood there with wide eyes holding a copy of Volo's Guide to Monsters. "MC, why didn't you tell me there are cat people?!" You chuckled, knowing exactly where this was going. "They're called tabaxi, but yeah, they're basically cat people. Would you like to play as one?" He scoffed and snapped the book shut. "Is that even a question? Of course, I'm playing as one." After some discussion and bouncing back and forth between classes a couple of times, Satan settled on a tabaxi druid; that way he not only looked like a cat, but he could speak to them as well. After a few days of you spending time with his brothers focusing on getting their characters ready, Mammon came to you wanting the coolest, most epic character ever. At first, it was clear that he wasn't fully invested in the process, but as he saw the customizable options and all the cool stuff that his character could have, you got his attention. You ended up designing a golden teifling rogue (you tried to tell Mammon that teifling usually wasn't yellow, but he gave you such a sad look that you couldn't say no) that was decked out with piercings and gems all over its horns and tail. He tried to act like he wasn't that excited about it, but one day during class you caught him doodling what looked like a stick figure version of the character on his sheet with a big smile on his face. Asmodeus came in shortly after Mammon finished,
insisting on having the most charming and beautiful character there was. You tapped your chin at the request. "I mean, stereotypically bards are extremely charming and...well seductive...almost too seductive. But that's only thei-" Asmo had hearts in his eyes before you could even finish. "That's what I want to be!" You sighed and made a mental note not to include any dragons in the session as you marked Asmo down to be an elven bard and helped him create his character sheet. You hadn't heard anything from Lucifer for nearly that entire first week, until one day as you were lounging in the living room, he walked in holding a stack of resource books. "Ah, MC. I've been looking for you. I wanted to inform you that I will be playing a half-elf multiclassing as a paladin and hex-blade warlock." You blinked at him as he put all the books down in front of you. "O-Oh. Would you like help putting together your character sheet?" He just grinned and began to make his way out of the room once more. "I've already done it. I must admit that this was quite a bit more interesting than I thought it would be," and with that he was gone, leaving you to try and figure out what had just happened. With only a few days left until the one-shot, you had to go find the twins and get them to make their characters. Beel apologized like crazy for you having to track him in down in order to get his character made. The poor guy was in the middle of peak Fangol season and had completely forgotten. Once the two of you sat down in the kitchen with an empty character sheet in one hand and snacks in the other, Beel gave you his full attention. He put a lot of thought in his character and wanted to make it really good since he appreciated that you were doing something that they could all do as a family. He bashfully decided to play a halfling. Not only did the little creatures share his love for food, but he thought it would be neat to try being small for once. His class was also a surprise. After carefully flipping through all of the class options, he had eventually settled on a cleric. "They're the healers, right? This way I can help the others if someone gets hurt." You gave him a huge hug then and there. Belphegore, on the other hand, was not so easy to work with. "Belphie, come on. Just flip through the book and choose something!" He groaned into his pillow and rolled onto his side to glare at you. "I told you I would play if you did all the work for me. Me flipping through a book is work. It's not happening." After an entire hour of trying to get him to cooperate, you gave up. In retaliation you made his character a goblin barbarian, just to drive in the fact of how much of a brat he was acting like.
Finally, the day came for you all to play the one-shot, and much like you expected, it was complete and utter chaos. You had tried to maintain some structure and keep everyone on track, but it was hopeless. Levi and Satan were taking the game seriously and, Diavolo bless them, were the only reason their party was making any progress. Mammon was trying to pick-pocket every non-player character that they met while Asmo distracted them by flirting. This worked great for them until Mammon got caught and would've died from the resulting injuries if it wasn't for Beel. Speaking of Beel, the poor fella was trying his best to do well in the game but kept getting confused by all the rules and different stats and modifiers. Belphegor spent most of his time, trying to explain it to his twin, but in the end, Beel accidentally ate his dice and Belphie passed out on his shoulder. And then there was Lucifer. He had been mostly quiet the entire game. Surprisingly, he let Levi and Satan take the charge in any investigations and puzzle-based interactions, but he did so with a smirk. You had a funny feeling in your stomach that he was up to something, and you were right. It was the final boss. Satan and Levi were on the edge of their seats, having worked so hard to get the party to this point. You smiled, knowing that one of the best parts of D&D was finally taking down the big bad. In this case, you had prepared a beholder for them to fight. It would be no easy task. The fight should have required them to work together in an epic battle of wits, magic and melee attacks. Only, when everyone rolled initiative, Lucifer went first. The eldest smiled as his eyes sparked menacingly. "For my bonus action, I'd like to use my hex blade's curse on it, which allows me to add my plus four proficiency bonus to all damage, and makes any rolls of nineteen or twenty critical hits. I will then use my long sword with divine smite at third level to attack him and attack him again using my extra attack," barely giving you time to process what he said, Lucifer rolled his dice twice. "And that would be a nineteen and a natural twenty, meaning they're both criticals due to the curse. That should hit, yes?" "Wha-" You could only watch as Lucifer, now with twice the amount of damage due to his critical rolls pulled out a disgusting number of dice and rolled them all. And of course, with his luck, they all rolled high. "So that's 90 points of damage plus the extra damage from the curse and the bonus from my duelist ability per attack, brings this 102 points," he smugly perched his chin on top of his hands as the table gaped at him. You gulped and looked down at the beholder's character sheet, "Y-You just took o-over half of his hit points in one round..." His grin widened at the information, "What, like it's hard?" You never got the chance to finish the game, as Satan burst into his demon form and pounced on Lucifer, the eldest laughing like a mad man, while Levi tore up his character sheet in a fit of jealous rage. Levi never asked to play with everyone again after that. ***This was just so self-indulgent and I just- I loved it. It combined two of my favourite things and I have never been happier. This was more crack than fluff, but either way, it was fun and I hope you nerds out there enjoyed it 🥰 Thanks again for the request @bagelsinatoaster!*** Taglist: @mimik248 @roseytoesy @ester-is-here
