Neo Constitution Class

I have to admit, I didn’t like it at first. I think it was the jolt of hearing “Welcome to the Titan” in the trailer and seeing this behemoth! The Titan I know is the one from the post-Nemesis novels.

But I have to tip my hat to the Neo Constitution Class Titan.

There’s a lot to nitpick and complain about with Picard. But mostly... I can’t think of a good new Starfleet design they’ve done.

Titan-A and the Neo-Constitution class is such a silly pandering, fanwank concept and worse you managed to make the Connie look awful and chunky and horrid.

I should have a soft spot for like six impulse engines, but no. Get a better ship, Seven, please!

I love Seven of Nine and I'm mostly pretty happy with how she was treated in Picard (its honestly better than how she was treated for much of Voyager), but I don't like the way they made her captain. I honestly think Liam Shaw was one of the best parts of the season and was a great contrast to a lot of the previous captain characters we've seen, and the fact that they killed him off so Seven could become captain felt really obvious and boring- even the way they did it felt super cheap and cliche (like I called the "he calls her Seven while dying and making her captain" beat EXACTLY several episodes before it happened). I would have loved to have seen him live AND her get promoted to Captain of a ship. I feel like both things could have happened, and instead they wasted a super interesting new character for the sake of a really trite plot beat. Also thought renaming the Titan the Enterprise at the end was kind of lame. We don't need that. Let it be its own ship.

I just realised, Rutherford is now the only one of the original main 4 that hasn't had a stint off the Cerritos since the show starts. I guess even T'Lyn has since she starts the show off the ship. I do think that kind of lines up with him having a lot less going on compared to the other 3.

I really really love the Titan-A bridge, Especially when I can see it!

I don’t mind the bridge going dark when it comes to battle stations, to mimic a submarine environment. It’s what Voyager does.

But if it’s not red alert I would love for Enterprise G to be as lit as this.

Also, I wonder what additions they’ll install for Enterprise G since they’re doing a refit.

Plus I’m sure Seven is gonna install some of her own flavor. She might not have formal training in it but Seven is an engineer and a scientist.

Green light the show, Paramount. Stop being an ass and come to an agreement with the Writers!!!
