The MTH mod team is proud to bring back Marvel Trumps Hate for a seventh run! Inspired by Stony Trumps Hate and Fandom Trumps Hate, our purpose is to encourage fandom unity while raising money for nonprofit organizations that work to protect civil rights, marginalized and oppressed communities, and the environment.

Our fandom-wide fundraiser auction raised $36,852.10 USD for charity with the help of 156 generous creators and hundreds of bidders last year (and we not only hit a massive milestone to celebrate half a decade of MTH ($200k!), but we also surpassed it with a grand total of $215,652.53 raised over the past five years). This year, we’re looking forward to raising just as much awareness and money for some Marvel-ous causes!

Creator sign-ups will open in one month’s time, on Sunday, September 15, 12 AM ET (Eastern Time). Creators may offer different types of works such as fics, art, edits, videos, beta services, crafts, and more for any character, ship, or universe in the Marvel multiverse.

Sign-ups will run until Saturday, September 28, 11:59 PM ET, which should give everyone plenty of time to think about what they’d like to offer, spread the word, and sign up as a creator!

There will be a preview week from October 13 to October 19, during which potential bidders can peruse all the auctions and start building their list of fanworks to bid on. We will also use this time to make corrections to auction pages before bidding begins.

The 2024 MTH Auction Week will then run from October 20 to October 26. All auction times are in ET. If you’re in a different time zone, you can convert times here.

So I've gotten moved down with my parents as I said I'd be. Thankfully, my partner and I can lend hands where hands are needed. Right now, my hands are going toward drawing whatever I can for those that are interested. Due to the nature of what's been found, I thought it would be meaningful if I were to offer flower portraits of your characters should you be interested and donate to help my parents achieve what they require to get their respective surgeries.

My dad has a mass on his kidney, and the ultrasounds show this tumor as looking kind of like a flower. So in that vein, that's why I'm choosing to do flower busts as the primary thing I'm offering. That said, I am also still willing to do Discord emotes and stickers, and as a more left field thing, do clean, neutral lighting GPose reference sheets for those that may want them. More information can be found below the read more / show all.

There is a lot of information regarding everything affecting my dad and my stepmother available on my family's GoFundMe page found here. My family supported me and fought for me when I was fighting Leukemia, the least I can do is fight as much for their sake, too.

I also understand any apprehension of donating through GoFundMe because they take a percentage of the funds raised. If you feel so inclined, you can donate directly to my dad through his PayPal, or directly to me through my Ko-Fi page.

Before commissioning me, please understand: I have no slots this time around for my work because I'd like to raise as much as I can for my parents; I don't know how bogged down with commissions I'll be. That said, please refer to this post where I will be updating it periodically to keep track of my progress.

I tend to do FCFS, but if I'm waiting on you for information or input, I will move on to the next person while you figure out what you'd like to do, or are busy because other obligations.

I will not be doing large scale commissions like last time (i.e. full bodies + background work). I want something quicker and more manageable for myself, so I'm focusing bust shots, emotes, and stickers. Please do not ask for anything other than what is listed here.

If you are interested in having a character reference sheet, please know that I will need either a .chara or a .mcdf file. A .chara is just a vanilla file with no mods and should be able to be saved through Anamnesis, and a .mcdf is if you mod your characters and can export your Mare Synchronos file. When you have any of these files, please put them in a Google Drive folder and send them to me!

I will not be meeting with people in-game as an option, unfortunately, because I do have my own reference studios set up in the houses that I use for them when necessary. My schedule is also all over the place to comfortably set anything up.

24h into the interest check!

Heya guys! Admin Excel here. I've been closely watching every single interest check response what came in the past day and I wanted to thank you all for providing us with such valuable information! I decided to make this little post as a quick overview of that we learned from you so far.

If you haven't filled in the interest check, feel free to do so now! It'll help us tremendously with the creation of this project!

In the past 24h or so, we've received almost 60 responses from all of you - which is honestly a number far beyond our expectations for such a fresh project. Here are some things we've learned to far:

Almost 70% of the interested people have a prior TTRPG experience. This shouldn't be surprising, in all honesty - fans of such a roleplay heavy series will of course enjoy some roleplaying themselves.

Well over 90% of the interested people actually want to contribute to the project, or at least is thinking about it.

There is about an equal number of people who want to contribute to the project as artists and as writers. There is a slightly bigger number of potential artists than writers, but that was expected.

Among people who wanna join as artist, character artist is clearly the most popular role.

Among people who want to join as writers, the most want to be character writers. An even larger group wants to be lore writers, but that group will most likely not be a separate group - more so an add-on to other roles (we will expand on that in the future).

Half of the interested people want to serve as beta players for the game! The beta players will most likely have a separate application process, outside of the contributor one - and later down the manual's creation process. You will be able to be both a contributor and a beta player, but you can also be a beta player without being a contributor - all you'll have to do is organize a session within a given time limit and later fill out a feedback form.

Most people will be able to start working on the project from March! Depending on the mods' schedules, that means the contributor applications will most likely open as scheduled, mid-late February - with the actual work starting early-mid March.

A vast majority of you is interested in seeing lore elements in the story! I think this point also needs a clarification - the included lore will not be based purely on Martyn's Eyes and Ears AU, nor any specific existing interpretation. It will most likely include bits of popular headcanons and AUs, together with any ideas that out lore writers come up with. It will also most likely be inobtrusive, to the point where the campaign will not have to focus on them too heavily.

Almost 75% of the interested people actually see themselves playing this campaign with their friends or family! It's great to see we'll have a target audience and this project will not be created just for the sake of creation.

We will focus on open ended questions in future posts, where we answer some questions, suggestions and doubts. All I'm gonna say is that after looking though the favorite alliance question... You guys really like Dogwarts xd

Q: What are the expectations for contributers (writers/artists)?

A: Creators will be making a brand-new piece(s) for the zine, based on what they think they will realistically be able to complete for the project deadlines (TBD, keep in mind the publishing date is est. early 2025 but can absolutely change). There are no prompts and there is no theme other than Zack Fair. A discord will be created (and staff are always here via asks) to help each other come up with ideas and encourage one another's projects!

In addition, one person may submit up to 4 contributions for the zine, in the form of mix-and-match or the same grouping. I.e. 4 pieces of art, 4 fics, or 2 pieces of art and 2 short-form pieces of writing, etc. These details can be ironed out on an individual basis, and not all pieces may appear in a physical zine.

Finally, pieces for this zine are expected to be kept hidden from public view until the zine is finalized (a.k.a. not posted on any social media or Ao3 except for teasers/ads for the zine, details TBD [do not post any ads on Ao3 they do not allow that]).

Q: Are there going to be length limitations?

A: For the digital zine, no, outside of fics being limited to one-shots. If a physical zine gets designed, then those one-shots will be limited to a certain page number TBD.

Q: Will proceeds go to charity if this becomes a purchase-only zine?

A: Yes! First, it has to be determined if this is will be a purchased item or not. If it does, then we will pick a charity.

Q: Do I get any perks as a contributor?

A: A free digital zine, even if the final edition ends up being purchase-only. Any merch is TBD (we will have to see if funds are available to buy all contributors a copy of a physical zine, if it gets produced).

Q: Will the discord have mods?

A: Yes! Once it is set up, there will be a mod application process for 2 additional mods. Details about the discord will be sent out later on to those who are accepted onto the project at the end of September.

A: Absolutely! There is a section in the discord server for this and those collabs will have to be communicated between the involved writer, artist, and project lead.

ZINE UPDATE: SALES OPEN DEC 22

New Project! DIY/Collaged Tarot Deck

Over the past few weeks, I have been pulling together a group of local witches in my area to form a very casual coven! We all ended up revealing that we are very crafty, so naturally, one of the first projects we wanted to take on as a group was to make our own tarot decks! Right now we are scheduled to make around 8 cards a month, which means we should be finishing the project by the end of the year!

Materials used:

Double-sided tape

Playing card (for the base)

Matte mod podge (for the top coat)

Magazine clippings

To start off with, obviously, we have The Fool. In researching for this card, the main keywords that stood out to me was "new beginnings" and the start of a "journey". When paging through my magazines, one of the first photographs I came across was this beautiful, snowy mountain range with skiers dotting along the bottom of a slope. This image seemed perfect to me and really conveys the image of a new journey and optimism. 

Next, I reviewed the Rider-Waite deck for more inspiration - I saw lots of yellows, and of course, the iconic sun. I decided to add a sun shining in the corner of this card as an ode to the original Rider-Waite deck; also representing bright optimism as the Fool begins his journey.

While we hammer out details and taglists, this blog is a work in progress; pages will be updated as we get things sorted, and we’ll have it up and running by the end of the year!

What’s this all about?

There’s no big bang event for the Superfam!!!!!! and unfortunately both of us love these Kryptonians (and all the humans they’ve surrounded themselves with) so we had to. If you’re here you definitely get it 🤭

What’s the word count / art minimum?

🌻 at least 20k for Authors. 🌻 at least 1 x full colour art piece for Artists 🌻 at least 1 x full gifset (6 gifs) or 3 x images for Manip creators 🌻 We do NOT accept AI.

When are we doing posting?

Can I use a fic I’ve already posted / write a sequel to a fic I’ve already posted?

We are not accepting fics that have already been posted, unless the part you have posted is 500 words or less. For example, if you wrote a short headcanon post on Kenan and how he adjusts to interacting with Lois, and then want to write further on that concept via an interdimensional space adventure, that would be 100% allowed. However if you had written a 600+ word drabble on Kara being a horse girl, or a “what if Kryptonians had wings” AU, you would not be able to use that for this bang. The base concept of what we’re trying to do by limiting fics that have already been posted is to ensure that the artist & author match ups are random, and not based off someone recognising someone else’s work in an effort to get that partner. We want this to be a fun passion project, and a way to make new Superfam friends! This connects to sequels too: any direct sequel (ie. a fic that would require you to read the first one in order to understand the second) would not be allowed, but we would accept a spin-off or inspired-by fic. Think the Hobbit vs. The Lord of the Rings trilogy, or how all the Narnia books are in the same interconnected world, but are not direct sequels. Please just reach out to the mods if you want to use something that’s already been posted/want to make a sequel or spin-off to a different fic, and we can discuss it from there.

Are there any specific characters that are off-limits?

Think of the Bang like the fics / art are all issues from a Supers comic run: They can have guest stars, but it’s their show. While we won’t say characters are “off-limits”, we are making the limitation that if you are writing a fic that may feature another hero or team - ie. a Superbat or YJ fic - you either: 🌻 feature the superfam member’s POV at least 50% of the time or 🌻 the fic must be directly exploring the superfam member and their story and character

How are you running the posting period?

As the event doesn’t start until next year, we are going to adjust some things depending on the contributors we get and how the event runs, but! The major way posting will run is as such: When fics are complete, we’re going to check in with everyone via discord and see which of 2 preferences they have: If you want to participate in posting chapter by chapter, we will be enforcing a finalisation date - ie. that the fic must be posted in entirety by a certain day. There will be freedom to decide what the schedule is and how you divide chapters, but the “slow release” will still be a short period (ie. 1-2 weeks, depending on fic length). You would also need to discuss with your artist when they would post their art, and work together to decide the best time to link your pieces. The mods will also only be reblogging your fic to @/superfambigbang on the first chapter, and then when it is posted in entirety. While we will not edit the fic, if you elect for option 2, the mods will most likely contact you so we can check your project, as we understand a “slow release” is a non-standard way of running a bang project and want to ensure it goes smoothly.

The other way is, of course, the standard way a bang is posted; all at once / entirely posted on one day. Dates will be assigned while keeping in mind author/artist preference, however we will be trying to ensure space between each contributor so that the fics all get space to stand out ❤️

Can I sign up to beta?

Thank you so much for the interest! We’re going to see who within the event would like to beta first, and then potentially open a beta check in Jan 2026, when fics are complete.

Is NSFW / dark fic allowed?

If you write a NSFW or dark fic that’s completely fine, but be aware that the event is for all ages. If you write a fic that discusses sensitive or NSFW topics, we will request that any discussion regarding your fic be kept in the appropriate area on discord. If you violate this rule accidentally (ie. forget what chat you are in and post an implication of NSFW), you will be given one warning before you will be removed from the event. If you violate this in an extreme manner (ie. any nudity, explicit sexual references, explicit violence etc., in any area that is not the NSFW channels), you will be kicked from the discord and blocked from participating in any feature events.

Can we write for xovers?

As long as it features the Superfam you can write about whatever! Want Jon to end up playing Homestuck? Want Kon or Kenan to end up hanging with the Avengers? Want the Superfam to meet the cast of Invincible? Go for it! As per the other guidelines mentioned above, our one major rule is that it must be featuring the Superfam - this is a Superfam-themed event, after all!

Are we allowed to write more than one fic?

Keeping in mind that the minimum word count is 20k and we want to ensure that as many projects are completed as possible + we want to ensure match-ups work out, at this point in time writing a second will depend on if your first is finished, as well as how many artists sign up.

At the current point in time (and because this is the first time we've run a proper big bang together!) writing two fics will not be allowed unless one of them is complete or semi-complete prior to artist match ups, and the other has reached the minimum word count check-in for the artist sign ups.

I just looked at the schedule - what is the November mini wrimo?

To encourage people to write and to make some fun interactive challenges in the event (and with NaNoWriMo’s unfortunate decision to be dumbasses), the mods thought it would be fun to set November as a mini writing challenge! If you sign up for the bang, you do not have to complete in the mini wrimo if you want to, but the option is there. The gist is, much like nanowrimo, a challenge to write a little bit every day - with challenges, sprints, and a badge at the end.

We’ll be aiming for 10k (350 words/day), so if you do sign up, that means by the end of November (and keeping in line with the other check-ins), authors will have 20k for the event, and will have plenty of time to edit and maybe start a new project! ♥

Minecrafters grab your pickaxes, and catch up on the QBLR QUATERLY!

What's up guys, update just dropped! It sure is something to try and decipher, huh. We've got pages of new stuff to go over, so let me learn you a thing about all the events and mishaps that happened on the server this week!

This week, the news is late. Why is that?

Splat's solar system is complete! And what a beauty it is. And if you're wanting to see the real thing, there are plenty of potions that can give you enough levitation to reach Andromeda!

There are, of course, other potions to drink if fizzy lifting isn't your thing. And if you're on the violent side of things, Nightmarish and their friends have fun summoning dozens of skeletons! If you want a chiller time, Bibi has learned how to ride a camel.

Residents attend a normal dinner! And Grunk has a fun day at dirt world. Swamp and Gummy have big news - Swamp is having Gummy's baby! Congrats! Group enigma solving at Pirate Cove sees all twelve ender eyes found.

Hivi breaks free of the Ender King's control after a long, long fight. A new mod allows residents to make plush mobs! And, of course, the End opens! Tonmy is the first through the end portal and Levi gets the final strike on the first dragon. Due to scheduling conflicts, there are more than one first dragon fights! The second sees Mando dealing the killing blow.

And with the End open and the dragon dead, residents begin exploring for loot and new blocks! Splat uses his elytra to take some aerial screenshots of his projects. Inc uses his elytra to go endbusting with Jelli and Levi. And Zephyrous uses her elytra to catch and ride a tardigrade.

Of course, the End is not without its issues, looking at you Penumbral Forest. Berry and Popcorn invent new problems in trying to collect every plush mob in the game. And Neon invents water skiing with elytra.

Using cages, every End mob has been collected and brought to the Overworld. Including the Enderophage, which is being used to inflict pregnancy on players at random.

Did I mention that End Cities got buffed? End cities got buffed. A lot. And a statue of Pewen gets added to the creature statue garden! Residents also meet Jeff, the villager at the end of the game.

And now, a reading from r/malelivingspaces: White sandstone floors. Wine concrete walls. Split level with no visible accessible ramp between levels. Three yellow windows in the entryway. Single bookshelf placed on the upper level. Torches scattered about willy-nilly to stave off darkness. Almos, staring regretfully at the room. Single furnace placed on the back wall. Split level ceiling to match the floor. This has been a reading from r/malelivingspaces.

Grace builds a rainbow bubble under the water. Glitch has a normal reaction to the salt wastes biome.

The Sims 4: New Game Patch (December 3rd, 2024)

A new game update is out for The Sims 4, preparing the game for the new Cozy Celebrations event, that is scheduled to start today.

If you have auto updates enabled in Origin’s “Application Settings”, the game will auto-update once you open Origin. If you have auto-updates disabled, you will need to manually update by clicking the game in your library.Advertisement

What’s New?

This season, the Sims Delivery Express brings you two new items along with culturally inspired Create a Sim assets and recipes. Your Sims can enjoy the charming Cozy Hot Cocoa Tray, offering six delightful hot drinks, and the Comfy Blankets Quilt Stand, which adds a cozy touch to any room. Dress your Sims in Romanian-inspired clothing for the whole family, plus a new hair scarf and a full-body outerwear coat.

Enjoy creating two new dishes with your Sims! Mămăligă is a beloved traditional dish enjoyed in many Eastern European countries, while Mucenici is a festive treat that brings families together to honor the past and welcome spring.

Starting today, not only will you have access to some new festive Sims Delivery Express content but we are starting the Cozy Celebrations Event with three weeks of all new rewards and some global tradition based quests to take part in. One of the quests will even have you make use of the Cozy Hot Cocoa Tray from the Sims Delivery Express to help complete your Event track so be sure to grab one of those from Build Mode. Base Game

Simmers running DirectX 11 should no longer see the sky causing the game to shut down unexpectedly.

Addressed a crash that was identified when certain mods were active.

Switching between Pack filters on the Store screen is more performant for Simmers on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Live Events are no longer referenced as Discovery Quests, although you might still discover new things while unlocking rewards in the Live Events.

Stairs from Snowy Escape, Jungle Adventure, and Journey to Batuu will now have supporting walls beneath them.

Small stud and hoop earrings from Base Game can now be found in more categories.

A number of adult and child tops from Base Game have been added to the Cold Weather category.

What’s a fanzine?

A fanzine is a collaborative project where a group of artists (contributors) make art around a specific theme. These long-term projects are organized by Moderators (Mods) who showcase the artists’ work in a magazine format, hence fanzine. These can be digital (pdf) or physical (printed magazine with physical merchandise).

The theme for this zine is SVSSS fandom as skin creatures, inspired by the exponential outpouring of skin creature art such as Skinzun and Skinhe. A Tumblr post of the original Skinzun tweet here.

How will the zine be funded?

To keep prices as low as possible, the zine will be p4p (pay for production). This means the zine and bundles (zine+merch) are priced just above production costs. Any extra will go towards funding contributor copies.

What is the zine going to be rated?

SFW! All works should go up to a Teen rating at max (by AO3 standards). HOWEVER, all contributors must be 18+ at time of application. Pairings-wise, anything goes.

What’s the zine schedule?

Roughly speaking, Spring will be the Interest Check and gathering contributors. Summer will be the creation period, with fall and winter slated for formatting, manufacturing, and shipping. Hello again, friends! This is an update on how you can reach us or receive updates during the event.

This tumblr account is our main information hub. The rules and FAQ will be posted here tomorrow and linked in the bio, and all schedule reminders will get a post. We also do reveals here at the end of the event.

In addition to the tumblr page we now have a brand new Bluesky account! We'll post updates there as well, so give us a follow and tell your friends.

Lastly, all communication with participants about sign-ups, check-ins, posting, etc will be handled by email. If you need to contact a mod, you can do so by sending an Ask here, but sending us an email at anywherewithyouevent@gmail.com is preferred.

Pingxie Exchange 2024: Schedule and Guidelines Post

Hi and welcome to the Pingxie Exchange: a fic, art, and fanvid exchange about the Wu Xie/Zhang Qiling pairing.

In this exchange, participants will be anonymously matched to create gifts for one another during a five week creation period. The gifts will be revealed on August 17th: the day Wu Xie welcomed Xiaoge back after his 10-year-long absence behind the Bronze Gate.

This exchange is open to all the DMBJ canons (adaptations featuring Wu Xie or Xiaoge and the original novels). It will take place on AO3, so you need an AO3 account to participate--if you don’t have one, you can request it here; if there isn’t enough time, no worries - contact the mods at pingxie-exchange@hotmail.com, on DreamWidth, or on tumblr, and we can send you an invitation! There have been some changes this year, so please read this post carefully before signing up!

Guidelines

This is a ship exchange: as such, all the works created for this event must be focused on Wu Xie/Zhang Qiling. Works with threesomes/moresomes or other pairings involving Wu Xie and/or Zhang Qiling are not appropriate for this exchange, but background ships of other characters are fine.

You will be expected to create a gift matching your recipient’s request. Filling any specific prompt is not obligatory, but try to create something you honestly think your recipient will enjoy!

You must not include anything stated as “do not want” in your recipient’s sign-up.

The minimum requirements for the gifts are 300 words for fic, one sketch on unlined paper for art (traditional or digital; no manips), or 30 seconds of video for fanvids.

After the matching is done, all the requests will be made visible to everyone to allow for treating! There are no minimum requirements for treats (but remember to mind your recipient’s do not wants!). You can also create manips for treats.

Please note: Now that AO3 has changed the way that gifting works on the archive, if you wish to be eligible for treats, you need to select the option "Allow anyone to gift me works" under the "Collections, Challenges and Gifts" section of your AO3 preferences.  You must also indicate that you are open to treats in your exchange sign-up.

This is an anonymous exchange: refrain from discussing your assignment in public. After the works are revealed, there will be a one week anon period when the creators remain anonymous before the creator reveals. DO NOT post your creation anywhere but the AO3 collection (e.g., Tumblr, Twitter/X, Dreamwidth, etc.) before authors are revealed on the 24th. If you do this, you will not be allowed to participate next year.

If at any point you need to drop out, just click on the “default” button on your AO3 assignment page (https://archiveofourown.org/users/YOURNAME/assignments); we’ll find a pinch hitter to create a gift for your recipient instead. If you need an extension to finish your gift, contact the mods before the deadline.

After the reveals, comment on your gift.

Sign-ups will take place on AO3 here, starting on June 9th. There, you can fill out details about your request and offer. You can edit your sign-up at any time until the sign-ups close.

When signing up, you will be able to choose fandom, "character" (this is actually going to be the fanwork type: fanart, fanfiction, or fanvid), and genre tags, as well as specify any additional details.

You are not limited to requesting or creating a work during the canon timelines for those series/books. It’s just to mark which canons you’re familiar with to allow for easier matching: some participants might have a preference for a particular canon era, some might not be familiar with all the versions. You still have to choose your preferred canon eras even if you want to create or receive an AU.

In this section, you describe the gift you would like to receive.

Note: please make sure that if you are requesting something that you really would be happy to receive a gift for it. Don't try to pad out your signup by requesting something you would not enjoy. The goal is for everyone, creators and recipients, to have fun, after all!

The requests will be made publicly visible after matching is done, so that others will be able to create treats (additional gifts) based on them! So, please don't write anything in your optional details that you wouldn't want everyone to see.

Fandom - you have to choose at least one. If you’re willing to receive a gift in any canon era, you can just click “Any”!

Character (remember this is really fanwork type) - you have to choose at least one tag.

Genre - you have to choose at least three tags.

Optional Details - here’s where you can go into more detail about your perfect pingxie gift! You can include:

General Likes: your creator may, but doesn’t have to, include them. This isn’t a place for detailed prompts, just general themes you enjoy, like getting together or established relationship.

DNW (Do Not Wants): things that your creator must not include - squicks, triggers, things that you simply don’t like. Remember that you don’t owe anyone an explanation about why something is a DNW, and that DNWs are not meant to be taken personally. Just list the things you don’t like, “DNW: X, Y.”

Prompts/specific ideas: if you have any prompts, you can also put them here! You can be as general or as detailed as you’d like but remember that while your creator will try to make the best gift for you, filling a specific prompt is not obligatory. You can include a crossover prompt (with other DMBJ versions or other canons), but make sure it’s not the only prompt you have.

If you chose novels as one of your fandoms, you can use this field to list the ones you’re familiar with. If you're interested in receiving a Buried Tree Devil - Book 3 Donghua gift, you can also mention it here.

Optional Tags: You may use the optional tags to share more about your preferences, if you like.

Your assignment

You will be matched to create a gift for someone who requested at least one of the fandoms that you offered and one of the fanwork types you offered, with as many similar genres/likes as possible. This exchange will be matched using the AO3 algorithm to generate the initial matches and then tweaked by hand, if necessary, based on the information provided in everyone's optional details.

If you have any issues when you receive your assignment (you have a question about it or think there’s an issue with it), contact the mods as soon as possible. Do not contact your recipient on your own.

You will have to create a gift for your recipient, fulfilling the minimum requirements, and avoiding any stated "do not wants". Filling exact prompts is optional but try to create something matching your recipient's likes that they will enjoy!

You will have to post your gift to the exchange AO3 collection before the due date (August 10th), using the "gift this work to" option to give it to your recipient. Your work will remain in the collection only visible to you and the mods until the reveals happen. Remember to tag your work appropriately, especially if any of the major archive warnings apply, or use the "choose not to warn" warning.

Treating

Treats are additional gifts for the participants! To allow for treating, the requests will be made visible when matching is done. You can create treats at any time until the creator reveals! There are no minimum requirements for treats, and in addition to the fanwork types allowed for gifts, manips are also allowed. As with assignments, you have to respect the recipient’s Do Not Want, and while the optional details are optional, try to create something fitting the listed likes. One treat can only be gifted to one person.

Extensions

If you think you can finish your assignment, but you need a day or two more, you can always ask the mods for an extension!

Other important information

Make sure to check the email you use on AO3 frequently during the exchange, as it will be the primary means of communication. We might contact you if there is an issue with your sign-up or if your gift creator has a question for you. If you’d rather we contact you on your twitter or tumblr, please leave your handle in the offer section of your sign-up.
