Hmmmmmmm I know this is nothing but I googled her name and the Magnus archives and she was the statement giver in MAG130: Meat, she was the woman who got accidentally sucked into the flesh ritual but got out unscathed. Now like I KNOW that this is definitely nothing and she’s just friends with Jonny and Alex and oh nobody will notice she played two roles (except freaks like me)

BUT what’s interesting (I am delusional) is that (this is nothing I swear) her character’s name is Lucia Wright. Do you know who else has the last name Wright? JAMES Wright, previous head of the Magnus institute, before Jonah bodyhopped into one Elias Bouchard.

Gwen Bouchard / Elias Bouchard are confirmed connected (cast joking on stream about how Gwen doing a brutal pipe murder is her birthright)

So like… why not Lucia Wright / James Wright? If Gwen is connected to the OIAR in this universe couldn’t Lucia be connected to the Magnus institute?

Today has big "go for a long walk first before you start writing" energy, so I'm gonna roll with it. I'm really hoping I might wrangle my current chapter into line by the end of the day today, as unhinged a task as that's likely to be. These complex ones are generally taking two to three days to sort out completely, but I'm only six chapters from the end, the climax is in sight...and I have five free days before I'm back to work full time, so I'm eager to get as far as I can with this. Sigh—also pondering if maybe, maybe, I want to change the location of a single chapter in this half of the novel. Because if I shift it, then I get an extra surprise reveal, and it might aid in the ramping up of some things.... hmmmmmmm.

My latest ones are pretty much self-explanatory. I mainly just name it based on whatever I drew. Like, these PNG exports are named properly (shocker, I know).

Aaaand if the file name is taken, I'd key smash or purposely make a typo. For instance, I have this "watermark" file name already taken. So, I named it "Watermaerk".

💗 - What inspired you to start a whump blog?

well, I'm still pretty shy about liking whump, so I was nervous about interacting with the whump community on my main, but I went through a phase of reading everything in the Good Omens whump tag, and got frustrated with my self-imposed rule of not interacting with any of the posts. so I made a separate blog where I could show my appreciation and be unhinged in the comfort of an alter-ego.

🔮 - What's a favorite whump trope of yours?

ah, lets see. this is actually a hard question for me because I don't really think about it in terms of tropes when I'm writing or thinking ab whump. honestly what I really love is terror, so near-death experiences are a favorite of mine. some good ol' russian roulette, mock execution, that sort of thing.

💧 - What's your favorite type of whumpee?

hmmmmmmm. I like to whump characters that are already fucked up little guys. I think its a neat way to dissect a character. (metaphorically. or literally, sometimes) I think its more interesting when a character is layered and dishonest, both to themselves and to people around them. there's more to peel back that way. not that it can't also be fun to whump really honest characters, but thats more like dissecting... an amoeba or something. there's no layers, and the interest lies in the delight of finding that it really is exactly the same all the way down.
