Gave myself a large to-do list of art! Mostly of drawing Dr.Kel. Here's the first thing I decided to complete from it! Insane long ranting under the cut, as well as day 43+ spoilers im like 99% sure

I made this out of a need to draw him more freaky and insane. Recently/mostly I've been depicting him as very pathetic and sweet! Which, yes that applies to him around day 28 I think. But as time progresses... He also would definitely eat raw flesh, and he SNAPS after day 45-49ish, not sure what day exactly, could be a gradual thing of him deciding to fight back little by little, until he's taking down a tank with nothing but molotovs, a hook, and a crowbar its a TRAGEDY I draw him with freckles that appear more visible later on when he gets more sun exposure (normal sun exposure lol) but the amount of aggressive shading I wanted to do ended up completely covering up his freckles. It's a SHAME really!!!11!1!!! The white rings around the irises are just there to show he's looked at the bad sun before haha, and also because I think it gives him a nicely haunted look. I didn't realize his glasses are so ginormous around and over his eyes, but it actually makes drawing him a lot easier. Circle tool my beloved amirite Day 1 he's paler because hes JUST out of university, bro probably spent all his time indoors studying. He probably tans slightly as time progresses (as much as a pasty pasty boy like him CAN tan lool) and also he probably gains some muscle mass just from having to wrestle with physical labor stuff all day every day for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks. His hair grows out too over time! Maybe faster than is realistic, but I just get carried away with myself whenever I draw hair. I LOVE to draw hair. And dr.Kel's hair is the perfect amount of wavy to do really fun stuff with it and make it spiky all over just like his mental state </3 GUHHH Hes gets kinda greasy... he only gets to take cold showers... Miserably cold showers. Like what do you think that would do to your morale. Honestly just heat up a bucket of hot water over a grill or something and just sponge bath at that point. ANYTHING to get warm. I need to force him to bathe he probably smells bad He probably is going through all kinds of mood swings from manic laughter to sobbing miserably on the floor. Ugh. I want to draw good things happening for him, but I also want to show some of the shit that happens that he goes through LOL Also I tried to draw him generally looking more beat up over time- at first taking care of the cuts and scrapes, but later on just kinda letting them exist and his repairs to his coat being really rough. When I do a fullbody of the day 49+ Dr.Kel I'll make sure to include more grime and dirt and bloodstains. Trust ALSO you can't really see it in day 1 vs day 28 very well but hes supposed to look slightly gaunt in day 28 because he kept forgetting to feed himself.... He gets better and more well fed at day 49+ (the arirals like this little fucked up guy) But uh. He has other problems at that point than worrying about food Can you tell how normal I am about him (not)

cold as hecc in my house rn so I drew him getting warm I didnt see any heaters in the ASO either, I'll bet its kinda cold in there. I gave him warm blanket and cheap ramen like he would definitely eat. His nose is probably pink bc its cold asf there. (Ignore the wonky proportions and tiny hands lol)
