anyways my friends activated my conlang brain and I've made smth insane as usual

red is influences, blue is Elezen-family languages, green is like a mix bc I see the Alliance cities as having a trade language (that critically is limited to them).

I see Duskwight as a separate language from Black Shroud Elezen (but sharing a lot - easy enough to learn for those speakers). Coerthan and all its derivatives are a whole different language under the Elezen umbrella and isn't mutually intelligible with BSE. Because they split so early, they probably don't share much more than root words and etymologies; within the same family so not difficult to learn for other speakers of Elezen languages, but very distinctly different.

(also I'm not listing them but the branches extend to include other diaspora Elezen languages)

notable things that happened to me while camping:

when we arrived at the state park, we all started screaming the str spangled banner. one kid didnt sing and we all called him communist. this is the most usamerican i will ever feel in my life

to use the bathroom you had to turn to whichever of your peers had the poop kit and ask them very nicely to give it to you. when you got back it was required that you rate your poop experience

we all got snacks and promptly developed a form of capitalism where these fruit gummies were worth their weight in gold

that being said; if you find yourself in a walmart looking for flavors to put in your water, get the blackberry lemonade. trust me.

the mornings were miserable. they were cold, we had to wake up early, and we had to pack up all our shit really quickly.

we didnt have faucets so we literally licked our blows clean or made what thy called a slurry where you mix water in ur bowl until it turns into an awful awful soup n then u drink it

at one of our campsites there was a rope so u could jump of of the small cliff into the river and swim across the state border it was really cool
