My heart hurts so bad for Aziraphale because I can honestly just relate to him so, so, so much.
(not putting this one under a cut so warning season 2 ahead, I'll tag it at the bottom too)
Aziraphale says, "Nothing lasts forever," but I don't believe for a second he doesn't wish that it did.
He WANTS things to go back to how they used to be. He WANTS the seraphic Crowley squealing with joy as he cranks up the universal machine and sets the stars aflame. He WANTS there to be no sides, he WANTS to believe in the idea of the host united, he WANTS to go back before Crowley got himself in trouble by asking questions. He wants, I think, to be in that moment of creation and adoration forever.
Change seems to frighten him. There's an aspect of uncertainty. There's an element of chaos, the loss of control. I understand this deeply. And what the Metatron offered him was just that: certainty, control, the ability to dictate his own narrative.
I used to be in a toxic job. On top of it, I had intense anxiety and other undiagnosed neurodivergencies that made it even harder to fit in and understand the untold rules I was supposed to follow to get along. When I first got there, it wasn't so bad -- perhaps I was, like Aziraphale, also a bit idealistic. Then there were some changes that brought instability, significant more anxiety, and a lot of nights spent agonizing over my lack of control over it all.
My friends and significant other tried to convince me to leave, but I didn't want to. I didn't know what else was out there. I didn't know if it would be worse. I didn't know what kind of stability it would have.
Then my manager left, so that spot opened up. I had worked there for a long time, and honestly, I never saw myself going into management. I didn't think I could. I wasn't sure I even wanted to. All of that extra stress, on me? Not to mention, getting FURTHER into the job that was taking a massive toll on me? But then...
Then I would have control. Then I could run things the way *I* had always thought they should run. I wouldn't need to worry about who would replace my manager and whether my life would be a living hell -- I would make it what I wanted it to be. Upper management was really pushing for it, so I applied.
To make a long story short: I don't think it went very well. I didn't have the support I needed. I didn't have the emotional skills I needed. I think I did my best, but I'm not fond of those times. At the time, I was SURE that I wanted to move up even more, I was SURE this would make it all better. I thought this was what I REALLY wanted.
But that's not what I needed. What I needed was to get out, and eventually I did. Even as ready as I was to leave, it was absolutely agonizing. I could barely stand to handle the unknown. I was going to work together with my spouse, actually, and I was so excited for that, but I still... I still was upset and worried sick over the dramatic change that would befall my life, after I had made the decision to leave.
That's where I can relate to Aziraphale. I wonder what would've happened if, before I had actually left for good, the head honchos had come up to me and said, "We want to keep you -- how about we offer you (an even higher position)?" -- would I have said no, or would I have wanted to make a difference?
Funny, I said exactly that, too. That's almost why I didn't change jobs in the first place. I said, "But I feel like I'm really making a difference with what I'm doing now." But what pushed me over the edge was realizing that none of that mattered to them, it was all about THEIR control of ME, not the other way around.
I'm so intensely curious to see what happens with Aziraphale next, but I'm sure he will learn what Crowley understands: nothing lasts forever, and sometimes it's good that it doesn't -- even if sometimes we wish it did.

Beginners Guide To Making A Point: Arcane
**Spoilers For Arcane**
Good morning my friends. Have you or someone you know been victimized by one of the mean folks like myself ripping apart your takes on the show Arcane? Well today there is hope. I’m here to share the sinister secrets of our trade that allow us to commit such dastardly deeds. So the next time one of us comes knocking, you will be ready!
All too often, I see kind and gentle folks like you innocently trying to make statements like the ones below:
1. Caitlyn Kiramman murdered kids!
2. Caitlyn never showed any remorse!
3. Caitlyn lost her mom and acted like that was a justification for her crimes!
4. Caitlyn looked down and didn’t love Vi!
Now you aren’t doing anything wrong. Just sharing your take on this story and what happens. But then someone like me will come along and reblog with some snarky title and something like this:
1. There is no evidence of that whatsoever in any single moment of the show
2. I’d run down the various moments where she does show remorse
3. I’d list the long series of traumatic incidents that severely impact her mental state leading to her eventual fall into Ambessa’s clutches
4. Id explain that there are three moments and three moments only when she ever says a negative thing about Zaunites.
A- she calls the people who attacked the memorial animals immediately afterward. And lets be clear, they were.
B- She says Vi and Jinx share blood during her lowest and darkest moment.
C- She says something regarding the depravity of Zaun or something when talking to Singed after the Stillwater massacre. Of course I’d use the whole quote.
Then I would point out that she saved Vi’s life twice, spared Jinx after all she’d done to Cait in season 1 because Vi asked her to, started a war by trying to save Vander, and gave Vi the choice to free Jinx knowing full well Vi may leave and never return.
And you’d have a bunch of mean comments that hurt your feelings and people making fun of you and so on. But! I’m gonna show you how I do it and help you make your next case in a way people like me can’t attack. First we need to discuss one very simple rule
If you can’t back it up with content, it didn’t happen:
Now this one sounds simple. But it can be tricky to master. Let me give you an example-
Example: “Caitlyn murdered innocent Zaunites with The Grey!”
Okay. Now I know in your mind you see this and think, “well yea? I mean we saw the sketches of people who grew up surrounded by it their whole lives having problems. And Jayce suggests Viktor’s condition may have been caused by it. She exposed people to it that means she killed them”.
There is not in a single second of any frame, evidence that anyone died from exposure during the strike team’s operations. In fact we see several characters who were exposed, Caitlyn included, who are fine later. And I know, what you are thinking:
“But OP we don’t know if there were long term latent complications!”
Correct. And unless Riot and Fortiche tell us we never will. Vi could have CTE, Jinx could have untold issues from being infused with Shimmer, Sevika could have lung cancer. It’s all speculative. So if it didn’t happen, it isn’t good for analysis.
Going a tad bit deeper
Now this one does go even further. Let’s use this example:
Example- “Caitlyn never apologized!”
Now I see this one a lot. And I get it. She never says sorry out loud. So if you misunderstand the rule that means she doesn’t. But you notice it says “if you can’t back it up with the content”.
So while Caitlyn never speaks the words, we know she :
1. starts a war to save Vander
2. takes no action when Jinx has her back to her and instead rushes to save a wounded Vi
3. keeps Jinx in the Kiramman bunker rather than Stillwater and forgoes judgement until Vi wakes
4. has several bits of dialogue expressing her regret and self-hate
5. lets Vi make the choice to free Jinx, shows Vi love and acceptance when she feels she lost everyone
6. is quite clearly remorseful touching the place where she hit Vi.
These are quite clear signs of her remorse. So what does that mean? It means that even if it isn’t explicitly shown I can back it up with clear examples that are content driven. None of that is speculative. It is all clear and on screen.
And some of these are harder, like this one:
“Ekko clearly didn’t dispute the use of The Grey”:
We didn’t see Ekko. We didn’t hear from him during the strike team’s mission about what they were doing. So how can I say that?
1. We know he was in Zaun
2. He’s the firelight commander and has been battling Silco/shimmer for years for his people
3. He fights for the people of Zaun
These are all indisputable. And I can source each of these details directly from content. So sometimes you have to dig alittle deeper. But you can still support your ideas with plain on screen evidence.
*An Important Note*
We must also be careful not only to be sure we only use detail we can back up, but that we don’t exclude detail that does not support us. A great example for this is this one:
EXAMPLE: Caitlyn lost her mom and acts like that single loss justifies a full on dictatorship.
Now someone like me would come along and list the multiple times Jinx almost killed Caitlyn, the total eradication of Caitlyn’s faith in the pre-existing system after Marcus tried to murder her, the deaths of many of her peers in front of her, her abduction and possible torture at Jinx’s hands, listening to Jinx try and convince Vi to murder her, sparing Jinx at Vi’s pleading then watching Jinx murder her mother.
Now I’ve come and used all those details you left out and made you look silly. No one wants that! So be sure to include everything relevant. If its a good take it will survive it.
Conclusion:
So, using this guide hopefully you can craft your next analysis with the detail and content and avoid interactions with unpleasant folks like me. Just remember! Let’s leave the imagination in fanfics and keep the analysis to the content itself. Don’t worry though, if you lose track I’m here to help you out.

The Agency's Older Brother: or, Ranpo's Character Development
I want to talk about Ranpo and the development he goes through in the series, because for as much as Ranpo is an important member of the Agency, his story is focused on in small chunks that may not always, at first read, seem to be overly significant. In fact, Ranpo’s arc is very consistent and I’m fascinated to know where it’s building to, because he’s done a lot of growing in the series. A lot of the themes of his story are to do with responsibility and faith in others.
The Ranpo we meet at the beginning of the story is not the Ranpo we see now. The biggest change is that he’s a lot more personally involved with the struggles of the Agency members, taking it on himself to be proactive and protective, while previously he had to be pushed and bribed into helping much of the time. When did this change?
Well...
[ID: Two screenshots from a scene in Poe's introductory episode of the Bungou Stray Dogs anime. In the first screenshot, Yosano lies on the carpeted ground, an axe embedded in her chest, blood pooling around her. Ranpo is crouched beside her, supporting her shoulders with one hand and clasping her hand with the other. The second screenshot is a close up of Ranpo's distressed face. End ID.]
The thing is, it's almost easy to overlook the effect this scene had on Ranpo, because Poe’s introductory chapter/episode is such a brief one. Moreover, afterwards, Poe becomes an ally and is a bit of a silly character, so it’s easy to forget sometimes that he was a legitimate threat here - and Yosano nearly died for it. This scene was incredibly significant to Ranpo for a few notable reasons.
It’s the first time someone in the Agency was in serious trouble/died without a backup plan.
It is, unfortunately, kind of on him. (Let me be real clear here: I am not blaming Ranpo. But he probably was blaming himself and that's something to keep in mind.)
To recap: Poe pulls Ranpo into his novel out of revenge, also trapping Yosano, who went with him. Ranpo realizes that they are in a world with no abilities, and importantly, he doesn't have the glasses Fukuzawa gave him.
We know those glasses mean a lot to him. When Ranpo was at his lowest, when he was convinced the world hated him, Fukuzawa gave him those glasses and told him he had a special ability. That he had a gift that no one else did that allowed him to see the truth that no one else could. Untold Origins makes it very clear that if Fukuzawa hadn't reached out to Ranpo when he did, Ranpo may have forever been outcasted. He was a kid kept in a bubble then suddenly and rudely shoved into a world he was unprepared to cope with, where he continued to get rejected and thrown out over and over - and all this on top of the grief he felt from his parents' passing. Ranpo was bitter and terrified of people, and thought everyone was pretending to be oblivious just to hurt him. Fukuzawa saved him the only way he could, in the only way Ranpo would hear him. It's not an exaggeration to say Fukuzawa saved Ranpo's life. And, while cute, it's also telling how quickly those glasses became an intrinsic part of his identity. Only maybe twenty minutes after he first received them, he was already making little doodles of himself wearing them.
Suddenly, the glasses are gone, and Ranpo goes into a funk because he "can't activate his ability without them". Obviously, we know that isn't true, and so does Yosano. Ranpo probably, deep down, knows this too, but to admit that would be to admit the president lied to him, and to uproot the very thing that gave him the means to perceive the world in a brighter light. The reason Fukuzawa had to lie in the first place was because the truth would be to tell Ranpo that his parents lied to him, something he angrily denies could ever be the case. And now, Fukuzawa is very plainly stated to be Ranpo's adoptive father. Ranpo's parents do not lie to him. He does not want to see it - and so he doesn't. This is a recurring thing with Ranpo. For as much as he sees the truth clearly, he also chooses not to see it at times when it would be uncomfortable/go against the intuition of someone he deeply trusts and respects.
And I think it's very easy to just leave it there, and say, "Oh, Ranpo realized at the end of this chapter/episode that he didn't need the glasses, that he doesn't have an ability, and that's a key turning point" but I don't feel that's the full picture or even the focus here, especially since Ranpo still hasn't reached the point where he can properly admit it aloud, even to Yosano.
The thing is, those glasses aren't just of use to Ranpo - they have sentimental value. A heck of a lot of it, for a character who is not very sentimental. The real turning point here is that Ranpo put on Yosano's glasses in order to save her.
[ID: A screenshot of a panel from the Bungou Stray Dogs manga. Ranpo puts on a pair of glasses. His hair is blown out of his face and he wears an intense expression. End ID.]
Shortly before this, we are informed by Yosano that not only was the Agency specifically formed for Ranpo to make use of his talents, but also that it was Ranpo who invited her to join - which we later learn was a pivotal moment for her to start over after she was completely broken by her experiences in the war. And now, he is watching her bleed out because she had to take over. Because he couldn't solve it. And that, to Ranpo, is unacceptable.
But again, there's more to it. Ranpo is fundamentally a self-centered character - this is not a judgement; I actually love that about him. He's the center of the Agency, the (ostensibly) good guys of the series; a narcissistic guy with little in the way of sensitivity who wants to use his skills to help others. Not for some higher ideal, or because it's "right" necessarily, but because he's good at it, and because he's supposed to protect all the "babies" who can't solve things for themselves. I love it because it highlights a major theme of BSD, which is good as something you do rather than something you are, and also because it explains something about Ranpo himself.
See, if everyone in the world is a "baby" who needs Ranpo's assistance, then the people in the Agency are a little different. They're people hand-picked by Fukuzawa to support him, both through praise and through backup. Remember that Ranpo trusts Fukuzawa's judgement more than anything - this means that he expects the Agency members can handle themselves. So, in chapter 10, when Ranpo doesn't really care that Atsushi has been taken, citing that it's a "personal problem" and he should handle it, I really think this was some odd form of "Atsushi will be fine" and "why should I worry or do anything when I know he'll be fine". And in the past, this has been true - the Agency members always pull through. None of them, up until that point, have been in a situation that they couldn't eventually fix. Ranpo has a bubble of safety in the Agency, that basically amounts to a "villain of the week" type beat from his perspective, where troubles gets fixed up pretty quickly. All in a day's work.
But then Yosano dies in Poe's book, someone he actually had some level of responsibility for when he invited her to join his safe little circle in a world that had no place for people like them. And it's a direct result of Ranpo's refusal/inability to act.
In order to fix this, Ranpo uses Yosano's glasses. The lens he's seeing through has changed. The people in the Agency were initially "his" in that they were meant to support Ranpo, the special one "chosen" by Fukuzawa's glasses, the reason for the Agency's existence in the first place. But now the people in the Agency are "his" in that they are his to protect. He's their big brother they all look up to in a way, and as the big brother, he's got to take responsibility for their safety.
Why did this not stand out in the moment? Well, we learn something about Ranpo from Untold Origins: he's very good at pretending he's doing okay and things aren't bothering him as much as they are. He's able to hold it together up until it all comes spilling out of him during the play. Also, I do think Ranpo cares about people a good deal more than he'd have you believe. A common fanon thing about Ranpo (from what I've seen) is that he tends to forget people, which, I can see how one would come to that conclusion, but I actually think it's completely wrong. I don't think Ranpo's forgotten a single person he's accused. I don't think he's forgotten a single person he's helped.
He lied about not remembering Poe, in fact, he remembered him pretty fondly as a real challenge. He remembers the information on a person from the Special Division he was asked to look into and gave the info to Mushitarou to allow him an in. He recognizes an officer he'd helped, and it's implied he recognizes every single officer who had been present while he was working on cases in the past. Does this mean he cares about all of them? ...eh. Probably not. But it does mean that Ranpo keeps a lot of his cards close to his chest. He's disarming with his intentional childishness. And so it can be difficult for the characters and readers both to notice that events like Yosano's almost-death... actually bothered him a lot more than he let on.
Because it was his fault. Because she was his responsibility. Because he's supposed to be invincible.
And unfortunately, the story from here on out does not get any kinder to Ranpo as his safe bubble that is the Agency is repeatedly targeted in ways that are increasingly hard to repair.
Fukuzawa falls ill and nearly dies in Cannibalism arc.
A girl gets blown up and Kunikida ends up in jail because Fyodor managed to manipulate Ranpo's intel.
Mushitarou is believed to have been shot and killed trying to warn Ranpo about the Decay of Angels plan.
Taneda bleeds out from a stab wound and falls into a coma. Ranpo can do nothing but listen and cannot get him help.
The amount of times Ranpo has seen people nearly die in front of him... bro it's almost as bad as Kunikida.
Much like Kunikida having extreme faith in his lofty ideals which make him fall just that much harder when he fails to uphold them, Ranpo has practically zero self-doubt and complete and utter confidence in his abilities... so when problems arise, Ranpo is very harsh on himself. He takes the blame because he's supposed to be better than that. Because he is the one with the powerful "ability" that should never fail.
In this sense, Ranpo's position in the Agency reminds me a lot of a certain person in the Port Mafia, someone who also has a powerful skill he puts towards protecting his own, someone who also received life changing words from the boss which earned him his loyalty, and someone who would do anything to defend the only place in the world he feels secure.
I think there's definitely a reason Cannibalism arc had Ranpo and Chuuya face off, I'm just saying. Both of them ostracized and thrown out as young teens by people who should've been looking out for them. Both the instigators of that arc, proactive and desperate to protect the person they are most loyal to who changed their perspectives. They've even got the same power stance, look. :P
[ID: Two panels from the Bungou Stray Dogs manga. The first is a panel of Ranpo with the silhouette of Fyodor behind him. He is standing with his hands in his pockets, facing front with his head tilted back and to the left a little, a fierce expression on his face and his cloak billowing outwards. The second is a panel of Chuuya standing in a similar manner, arms crossed, facing front with a fierce expression as his coat billows out around him. End ID.]
Of course, there's more interesting comparisons and contrasts to be drawn between them, but I'm focusing on Ranpo in this analysis, so I think I've made my point. Chuuya is the Port Mafia's best martial artist. Ranpo is the Agency's strongest man. And that places a burden of responsibility on them that they both believe they must uphold. They're both ready and willing to do whatever it takes.
The thing is though, is that Ranpo doesn't actually have an ability. When up against someone like Chuuya, he is at a distinct disadvantage, and he knows it. "Regular people can't defeat ability users". But he's still going to come up with a way to do it anyways, and why?
[ID: A screencap from the Bungou Stray Dogs anime. The members of the Agency all stand around Ranpo, who is seated at his desk with a smile, one hand holding his cap, the other held up in a casual gesture. The image is filtered in a soft light. End ID.]
Because his friends think he's invincible.
If Ranpo wants to maintain his safe place in a world of fear, then he has to step up to defend it, and he has to get creative about it. And that's exactly what he does. Ranpo becomes steadily more active throughout the story, which is a huge change from the start, where he had to be practically bribed to help at all. I see a lot of people point out his channeling of Fyodor's tactics to secure Kunikida's release, which is definitely a dark turn for his character, but it's not the only change.
Ranpo is now choosing to place his faith in others, the first obvious instance of this being his use of Poe's novels - which was how he defeated Chuuya. Ranpo knows that he is not going to succeed against people who drastically overpower him all alone, even if he does still take things on as personal burdens. He's also far more obvious about his protectiveness, going on the rescue himself to save the Agency members, driving a car (whereas before he needed someone to take transit with him - another indication of his increased proactivity since he's now literally driving instead of being driven), and bodily shoving Atsushi out of harm's way.
It all culminates in one of my favourite Ranpo scenes where he speaks at the conference to the police, who've worked with him before, where he asks if they will think for themselves - and tells everyone gathered there that anyone can be a detective if they think for themselves and look with their own eyes (!!!). He manages to get half the police force on his side, just through his words and his logic alone! Minoura assumes he somehow knew it would all work out, because, well, it's Ranpo. Ranpo knows everything.
But...
[ID: An image from the Bungou Stray Dogs manga. Ranpo sits in the passenger seat of a car with an honest, helpless smile. End ID.]
He reveals he didn't know if his ploy would work at all. He had to trust that it would with no solid proof. He had to trust these people would use their heads and look beyond the obvious. He respects these people enough that he thinks at least some of them will make the right call.
Fourteen year old Ranpo, bitter and estranged from other people, would never. For him to have come such a long way is testament to the security that the Agency provided him with. In a way, Fukuzawa forming the Agency allowed Ranpo to "complete" his childhood in relative safety, so that when the world became hostile once again and his family destabilized, Ranpo had matured enough to meet it and defend himself and those he has a responsibility towards head on. The Agency is his family, and Ranpo cares for them enough that he puts his faith, not just in them, but in the people they put their faith in too.
[ID: A panel from the Bungou Stray Dogs manga. Ranpo is kneeling in front of Fukuchi, who is sitting backwards on his chair to face him. End ID.]
...aaaaand then Fukuchi went and ruined it. Thanks, Fukuchi.
Ranpo again chooses to put his trust in someone without proof because Fukuzawa trusts him, only for that to have gotten thrown back into his face in the worst way possible. And it's in this regard, the trust aspect, that I think we'll see Ranpo develop as the story goes on.
Will he continue to show this tentative faith in people? Or will he begin to hyper-analyze, unwilling to trust again without proof?
If this arc gets resolved decently well, I think Ranpo will have no issue brushing this off as a one-time thing. However, if what I fear might happen does and Fukuzawa doesn't make it out of this arc... Ranpo will be destabilized.
I don't know that Ranpo would go "bad" per se. He likes the other Agency members. He cares about them - that's genuine. But if Fukuzawa dies, then Ranpo may begin to take darker actions in order to keep them safe, almost overprotective and harshly logical, with little room for blind trust or risks in the name of justice or honour. It may put him at odds with Kunikida, in that Ranpo may start to develop a strong "do what's necessary" mentality, even if that may be immoral. He may regress a little into his old trust issues.
However, I really don't think Ranpo will go too far down the path of darkness, even if the worst should happen. He's a lot tougher than he seems, and he has a good support system in the Agency. I guess it remains to be seen where Ranpo's story takes him next.
Until then...
[ID: A screencap from the Bungo Stray Dogs anime. Ranpo sits in his chair in a cuter art style, having taken a bite from the pastry he has in his left hand. End ID.]

Can I request for D-16 with a tomboy femme s/o where she has a crush on him.
Okay i may or may have not done one-sided love until i saw the s/o… 😀 my bad I HOPE THIS WORKS
[ D16 ] x [ FEMME!READER ]
[ d16 x cybertronian!femme!tomboy!reader ]
READER INTRO
You were one of the casual miners who never really got involved. You had a small friend group that consisted of both mechs, femmes (this includes D16). You put consistent effort into your work and only rebelled every once in a while. You were sometimes mistaken as a mech instead of a femme considering you had many traits that conflicted with the typical femme cybertronian. You had a deeper audio box, you never cared for your looks and you were more brave and rebellious than even some mechs. Because of this, you were quite popular and seen as charismatic between other miners.
HEADCANONS
- When you invited D16 to the group, he was honestly surprised. You liked his enthusiasm when it came to his idols and Sentinel and he was just a cute guy. D16 saw you as a cool miner and you reminded him of Orion so he was glad he could make a new friend. You both agreed and you didn’t know that this simple miner would make you go insane.
- Coincidentally you guys had the same shifts so you guys had a lot of one-on-one time. Because of this, you two got to know each other faster than your average friendship.
- D16’s fanboying was so dumb but cute due to how often he’d do it. Sure, he’s independent, but he’s also pretty reliant on cybertronians who remain famous for their actions. You aren’t the type to fangirl so you’d silently listen as he went on and on about every tiny detail about some bot you never even knew existed.
- Your liking for him grew big pretty fast. He was way too cute and maybe even hot for a simple bot like him. He had so much more personality than anybody else in your group and the way he gets flustered is so fun.
- Ever since you gained a crush on him, you started to tease him more. You would call him names and playfully give him light punches as greetings. This does irritate D16 quite a bit and he tells you to stop often.
- Giving him kisses was something you could never do. You may be bold for a femme, but you still had a thing called anxiety. Your charm of being a masculine femme doesn’t help nor does it stop you, and that charm was the only thing that actually could’ve helped you try to confess.
- D16 introduced you to his close friend Orion quite a while ago, so you both got along quite well. Orion always saw you coming onto D16 and shipped both of you, calling you guys a couple and perfect sparkmates. Oh, how you would get so flustered, chuckling it off while D16 argued with Orion. This only wavered your hope that D16 would like you back.
- You always were giving hints. These hints weren’t straightforward but they were there. You thought they were noticeable but they always skimmed over D16. You would hold his hands or talk about stuff that you think he would like. You would polish yourself before seeing him but he just assumes that you wanted to get a change.
- This crush thing stayed untold till the war. Seeing the guy you loved turn into the villain of the story was devastating, especially because he was unaware of your love for him. You knew you couldn’t tell him now or ever. You felt your optics dim and your spark drop when the somebody you saw as your world was banished from Iacon. You told yourself something that would linger with you for the rest of your life.
“Why did I have to be so scared?”

“Who should you love?”
It was a title of a post that y/n saw one day. It was a boring night after all, so she didn’t scroll down, instead, she keeps reading it.
You should love a poet, a musician, a painter.
An artist.
Because when they love you, they will create masterpieces of you.
Y/n thinks this is something that only happened in stories, so she just let out a silent chuckle.
But oh now how wrong that is.
Unknowingly to her, she’s now the muse of one.
That man, that artist was Aefanyl.
And you too, are an artist of love.
___
Logos will not admit it to anyone, but you've become his muse. The way you talk, the way you laugh, the way you smile.
Everything about you is a masterpiece to him, one that he wants to commit to memory, to write poems, to immortalize it with words...
But most importantly, to hold you close to his chest, to feel the steady rhythm of your heartbeat against his, the feel of your breathing, the sound of his name...
His name, on your lips.
He feels... inspired... to write. For the first time in a while, Logos feels the inspiration hit him. He knows what he wants to write. That spark of inspiration he hadn't felt in quite awhile.
His pen moved with new found vigor, his words flowing...
It's you.
Logos use a bone pen to elegantly cast incantation, a bone flute to let the banshee's music echo.
Being a Sarkaz means using even those things to fight, to accept the blood flowing in his veins, to fight for eternity without rest.
The talented young Banshee has known it since he has awareness of his surroundings.
But now,
He finds himself writing poems with that pen, instead of casting spells or incantation.
Or playing a tune for you to hear, this time the song doesn’t burn his blood anymore.
_____
You haven’t touch the brush for a very long time, it has become dusty under a pile of old documents. But now, you saw yourself painting him, the brushstrokes are a bit different.
He has the most beautiful appearance that you have ever seen. Even prettier than a lot of woman.
Delicate features as if crafted by the gods themselves, long eye lashes, soft lips, smooth skin.
His red iris-a red iris is truly mesmerizing, almost otherworldly in its intensity. Its vivid hue is captivating, exuding a sense of mystery and rare beauty.
The deep, rich color draws you in like a gemstone glowing with an inner fire, making it impossible to look away. It’s a bold and stunning feature that leaves a lasting impression, hinting at stories untold behind those eyes.
After finishing the painting, you feel a pride in your chest. But what do you do with it now? Whatever, let’s just hang it in your room.
You know you're bright as the morning, as soft as the rain
Pretty as a vine, as sweet as a grape
________
Logos once wish that his mother would sing him the elegy if he dies in the battlefield, that way he would be in the arms of his kind until the end.
But now, with you here, he wishes to live a bit longer, praying to himself.
“Please, let me stay with her until the very end.”
He wants you to also sing the elegy. Logos's mind is filled with the thought of you. That was his new wish, with the thought that if he's to die one day, he'll die at least knowing you'll be singing for him...
Love still bloom in this doomed world, like how he still finds his way back to you after every battle he faced. In your arms, he’s not the lord of the Banshee, nor Logos, just Aefanyl.
He loves all of it. The way you laugh, the way you smile, the way you hold him. He loves it all. He loves *you.*
The way you kiss him, the sounds you make, the way you hold him close, the way you wrap your legs around him. The way he gets to hold you close, to feel your breathing and your heart next to his.
He can't seem to get enough of it.
_____
He finishes writing, quietly setting his pen and paper aside before gently holding you close against his chest, his lips pressing gently against your forehead.
(It’s 3:30 now bye 💀)

F1 Break: In the Mean Time
Alrighty, so as we are all well aware the 2024 season has officially come to a close. This means we will not see cars on track until late February and no racing until mid-March.
If you are looking at the almost 3 month long break we have ahead of us and panicking over what to do with yourself (like I often do), I find Winter break is a great way to get a little deeper knowledge on F1 and it's history.
Shows or Movies:
Drive to Survive (Netflix): Controversial, but fun, this "docuseries" makes the behind the scenes of F1 into a real spectacle. As long as you take a lot of their insinuations about people with a grain of salt, it's good fun and helps get view into the politics of F1.
Rush (Prime or AppleTV): A rather dramatized version of the Lauda v Hunt rivalry, but good fun.
Hunt v Lauda (Prime): If you want a less Hollywood look at this rivalry, this documentary is great.
The Formula 1 Story (YouTube): Covers the creation and evolution of F1 and it's history.
Schumacher (Netflix): Documentary on the 7x WDC's life, career, and legacy.
A Life of Speed: The Juan Manuel Fangio Story (Netflix): Covers the story of Fangio and his championships wins.
Senna: No Fear, No Limits, No Equal (Netflix): Documentary about Ayrton Senna, has a habit of saintifying Senna but is quite informative.
Fernando (Prime): A documentary about Fernando Alonso during his time racing with IndyCar. Interesting view into another series with a familiar face.
Grand Prix Driver (Prime): A short series following McLaren during their 2017 pre-season. Great look into what teams do over the break and how they prepare.
Villeneuve Pironi: Racing's Untold Tragedy (Max): A look into the Villeneuve-Pironi rivalry and it's tragic end, seen from the perspective of both of their families.
One: Life on the Limit (AppleTV): Looks into safety throughout F1's history and the early risks involved in F1.
Science of F1 Design (YouTube): Mini-series that dives into the technical side of F1, on the official F1 channel.
Podcasts:
F1: Beyond the Grid: Official from F1, this showcases interviews with drivers, TPs, and other important figures in F1 history.
Bring Back V10s: a deep-dive into the V10 era from the 90s to the early 200s.
Missed Apex: Dives into more detailed and technical things. Can be a bit biased, but c'est la vie.
Parc Ferme: Goes into race strategies and regulations.
The Race F1: Race analysis, technical breakdowns, etc.
EngineBraking: The hosts worked as engineers in F1 and have great insight.
Shift+F1: Very beginner friendly look into F1, light and humerous.
Books:
How to Build a Car by Adrian Newey: If you are interested in the more technical aspects of F1, these insights from possibly the greatest F1 car engineer of all time would be a fascinating read.
The Mechanic by Marc Priestley: Stories from a McLaren mechanic about life inside the paddock.
The Winning Formula by Ross Brawn: Dives into strategies behind winning teams.
Life to the Limit by Jenson Button: A humorous look into Button's career, is pretty lighthearted and fun to read.
Survive.Drive.Win by Nick Fry: The story of Brawn GPs 2009 championship.
F1 Mavericks by Pete Biro: Dives into innovators in F1 throughout its history, from drivers to TPs to engineers.
The Death of Ayrton Senna by Richard Williams: A heavily researched look into Senna's career.
The Physics of Racing by Brian Beckman: A very scientific approach to understanding how F1 cars run.
F1: All The Races by Roger Smith: A detailed account of every single F1 race ever. Pretty hefty, but interesting.
Formula 1: The Champions by Maurice Hamilton: Profiles of every single F1 champion and a look into how they got there.
My Life in Formula 1 by Niki Lauda: A great insight into of of the F1 legends himself, goes through his career and his own personal viewing on his rivalry with James Hunt.
Popular YouTube Channels:
Chain Bear: Goes into F1 technical aspects in simple ways, such as what ground effect is and how the tires operate.
Driver61: Explains car performance, driving techniques, and race strategy from an ex-racing car driver.
CYMotorsport: Goes into F1 controversies, innovations, and strategies.
The Race: Dives into different controversies and different f1 happenings as well as race overviews.
F1 Reverse: Dives into different times in F1 history, as well as some gossip here and there.
Nico Rosberg: Info from the mouth of an F1 champion, does some race analysis and analysis of particular race tracks (I like his How to Master series the most)
All Time Great Races:
You can also rewatch some old races, especially if you have the F1TV subscription. I will list some super great races to watch.
1994 Australian GP
1996 Spanish GP
1998 Belgian GP
1998 European GP
2005 Japanse GP
2008 Brazilian GP
2011 Canadian GP
2014 Bahrain GP
2019 German GP
Other Motorsports:
Finally, diving into other motorsports during this time is super doable in my opinion. F1 is not alone in this massive world, and their are dozens of other very interesting series. MotoGP is one of my all time favorites, and is racing on two wheels instead of four. If you think F1 drivers are crazy for doing what they do, just wait until you see someone fall off a bike and skid across the pavement at 150 mph, then you will understand real crazy. IndyCar is also a blast, and although people tend to equate it to F1 it is very different. I will list some great documentaries/series that dive into other motorsports below.
MotoGP Unlimited (Prime): A look into the 2021 MotoGP season, follows riders and teams. Great first look into how that world works.
Fastest (Prime): A look into the MotoGP rivalry between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo during the 2011 season.
Marc Marquez: All In (Prime): Story about MotoGP champion Marc Marquez and his return to racing after an intense injury.
100 Days to Indy (Netflix): Story about the drivers in IndyCar and their path to the Indy 500.
Nascar: Full Speed (Netflix): A documentary that follows a few teams and drivers as they take part in the championship.
NASCAR: The Rise of American Speed (Prime): Explores the history of this sport, super duper interesting especially with the similarities and differences to F1.
Alrighty, I hope this post is helpful! I will be doing some more series and posts throughout break, but if anyone has anything they wish to know about as always my asks are open!
Cheers,
-B

Keath's storytelling through their art is amazing.
Like, look at these characters, these concepts, these pictures. Every bit of media used to convey a story. It's honestly brilliant!
I've got so much to say about it so let me ramble about the Harkers today!
Each of these represent something, which is very neat. But the way each character is dressed, is designed, looks even, it tells you something! It's brilliant. The personalities out of clothing and designs.
The Storyteller, their entire design is a story. Every accessory, every detail, every layer. It tells you so much about them! The hat that covers eyes, which I think is a fun way to show how the past doesn't look forward. Uncovered mouth, because historically stories/legends/history was passed by word of mouth because most people couldn't read. Also most of the time it was through songs too! That's so cool. There's so much going on in the Storyteller's design and clothing, the feather accessories, the plants, the straws, the clothes and dress like attachments. The shoes! There's a million details, and each says something without actually saying anything at all. For a mysterious figure, I believe the storyteller has the most that's actually being told purely from a visual perspective. There is a mystery, but the past illuminates (get it? Storyteller has a lamp hehe). Visually, the Storyteller lives up to its name so well! This is a being you'd find at the side of the road, along the crowd, on a stage, to sing of a past, to tell a story. A forgettable but unforgettable being. Too many details that will overwhelm you with implications, too many stories, but not extravagant, still rooted in the past, the basics if you will. Straws are important here, fields, the outside, nature. Straws in the past have been used for so much, bedding, isolation, food for cattle, to soften places, and clothing like hats. Multi-purpose and helpful.
Okay, next the Storyteller's significant other, the Bell-Ringer or also known as Yarrow. Who represents the future! A goat like being who wears Bell's and expensive clothing. If the future is commonly associated with good fortune, this is exactly how it should be conveyed! Not too simple and not too extravagant, there's a lot of details, but they're still rich in its simplicity. Ruffles, straight lines, horns and branches. Bell-Ringer is tall (but not the tallest), imposing, regal, a crown of golden really. Stitched patches on their cheeks, which convey a doll-like being, even as a goat. Their eyes are unique, like all goats, horizontal. To me their eyes are a way to have a unique play on future insight. And the patches on the cheeks can convey that these are untold. Yarrow is colorful, bright, imposing and even knowing. A representation of the future in such a beautiful way. Bell's also!!! Bell's are so important, Bell's have been commonly used to announce big news, important events and presently more for the time. Ringing Bells on a street corner for news, ringing Bells to herd cattle, ringing Bells to celebrate. A bell for attention, now more to great people too. It's important here, and it can have a lot of implications. Does the bell ringing mean that something important happens where the Yarrow is? The future is the sound of bells.
The last two Harkers are a bit harder for me as I'm not super sure I have seen all their details. So I'm hoping I'm getting it right and not misinterpreting what I'm seeing.
Okay! Third, let's go with the Enkindled. The Enkindled is the shortest. Its name can mean several things, like set on fire or to inspire (emotions). With a tree like being that is messy, that is wooden but small, pretty simple and not too extravagant. I believe the Enkindled has the least amount of detailing, oh there's a lot of it don't get me wrong, but clothing and accessory wise, there isn't much. But it represents a tree like being, so that makes sense. The wood that branches is detailed enough. Trees are mesmerizing enough. A truly rooted figure that doesn't need much, but still can inspire. The smallest of things can give the most ideas. A single tree can tell a story, a forest tells more. Again, I still don't know much, but what I know is that there is heart in this being, contrary to what you glean from a first glance maybe. But trees have represented so much, like family trees. But also strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything. It's the heart of it, the beginning maybe. They represent order(?) and that's reflected in their design! Trees might look chaotic, but they're ordered in a way that makes sense. Branches serve a purpose, the way they form is the most ideal path for a tree. The order in which a tree grows, withers, lives or dies.
Lastly the Croon, the tallest and most imposing looking. It has feathers and matches the design of a bird, the skull is bird-like. It's body looks like a bird's. But that's not the only animal trait, moose antlers, a crown of spikes and claw-like hands. The Croon looks the most intimidating. And its name can be interpreted as a tone of voice, crooning, sentimental humming/singing/speaking. The croon represents entropy, entropy can mean the end or decay of things. With a skull representing their head I feel that that's really well conveyed. There's a chaos to their design, but it all makes sense still especially with the concept of entropy. Where things fall into disarray or decline. The Croon looks dosserayed.
I love the way that the Harkers are themed after story aspects. The Storyteller as a name tells a story, respecting the past as most stories are retellings. The Bell-Ringer, the future, every story has one, what comes after. The Enkindled, the heart, the idea of a story, that what motivates, but also the order of it, there is a way to tell a story that makes sense of the chaos within these events that are linked. The Croon represents entropy, the chaos in a story or the ending of it, the challenge or the struggle that simply is.
If I got anything wrong please don't get angry! I'm very much still learning about the lore and details, unfortunately my brain is far more focused towards details in art than all the smart stuff everyone else seems to get 😭 and please do correct me if I'm wrong on anything!
End of the day, I just really love the amount of attention and visual storytelling that was put into Yaelokre, the art was addmitably what got me so into this all. It was the first thing that really caught my attention. The songs and the story I love them too!
Thanks for reading :D (if you're still here) and I hope if anyone else wants to share their thoughts on designs and stuff they will! I can't wait to ramble about the lark too, but my brains too tired to talk any more so I'll leave this here for now :D
Have a doodle page as compensation for sitting through this!

Head's up: this post is me looking way too deeply into this random card game they introduced in Boruto (it's been forever since I've caught up with it and I'm starting from the beginning, RIP my sanity) and in general there's a bit of serious and a lot of silly going on in the analysis here... I find this concept so strange lmao so this is a little forewarning that's all.
Sorry, just been busy thinking about how dystopian it is that by the Boruto timeline there is a popular ninja trading card game all the kids are obsessed with that treats shinobi (many of whom were abused, traumatized child soldiers who have experienced incomprehensible trauma) as fun little collectibles.
For our world that's one thing (referring to the merchandizing we see of the manga/show itself); Naruto is obviously a story, it's a highly marketable IP, etc... but the implications of this being acceptable and even celebrated in their world is just so wild to me.
Also, it raises so many questions.
Do ninja get paid for the use of their likeness? How are they compensated?
Like did Hinata pose for this 'unique' card that obviously falls outside of the norm for collectability purposes? Or are the likenesses/names of the shinobi in the 'Extreme Ninja Scrolls' (ENS) TCG being used without permission? Who profits from this? The Daimyo? Jiraiya and Minato are also shown having cards... so who approved those since they're both deceased? Is there a Namikaze estate (for example) that had to legally allow Minato's image to be profited off of?
They even have cards of the OGs as 12-year-old genin. So is the Konoha government approving these since everyone pictured here was as an employee of the state and these appear to be regulation photos?
And you know what? We KNOW they didn't have this shit in the OG era because, back in the day, the whole team was impressed as hell at Kabuto's legendary ninja info cards! Who could forget these bad boys?
youtube
Now I guess we have to ask, though, is this not a massive security risk?
To have your nation's shinobi and their backgrounds, techniques, etc. shared so freely on cards you can pick up at any ninja 7/Eleven?
Anyone can purchase one of these card packs. We know it's not exclusive to Konoha too - while most of the cards have the Leaf Village symbol stamped in the corner, Orochimaru's represents the Sound Village.
Actually, hol' up. Orochimaru's inclusion is WILD.
"The legendary three ninja" (ie. a nod to him being one of the Legendary Sannin), but this man killed hundreds of thousands (we don't even know the totals) in untold unethical science experiments. He enslaved and tortured children, ruined countless lives and imprisoned them in hideouts that seemingly existed everywhere, and he packed up the Third Hokage (ngl that was a hero move).
And you're going to tell me that guy gets his own 'super rare' trading card? There are survivors of Orochimaru's cruelty still walking around in this timeline and they have to look at his face plastered and advertised everywhere as a rare card pull in a children's game?
So, if we can safely assume that (with Orochimaru's inclusion) internationally wanted criminals are not off the table for this game, does that mean the Akatsuki have their own cards as well? Like little kids are really out there trying to see which terrorist they can add to their collection? By Boruto-era, the truth of the Uchiha Clan Massacre is still swept under the rug by state leaders like Kakashi and Naruto (+the Elders), so Itachi's card could be in circulation under his Akatsuki identity. How does this shift/color the views of generations of children who come across all these cards potentially bearing the 'Uchiha' last name, especially since they're only ever taught a white-washed, sanitized, state-approved history?
This is pure speculation, but I wonder who gets left out of this game too. Is there an Obito card? A Madara one? They were the enemy faces of the 'last' great war, but one was also a founder of the Leaf Village (and it's implied all the Hokage all have cards - so historical figures are fair game), the other was a student of Minato's (which could, theoretically be included on the background summary of the card, we don't really know what's included there).
The kids in Boruto joke about Shino's card being viewed as a 'trash' pull (and tbf to the manga I did laugh when I saw the comic they made of that concept)... but really, how disrespectful is that? Imagine devoting your life to practicing shinobi techniques so you can serve/protect the state (as many of them tell themselves) only for little kids to joke about how undervalued and lame your card is? Imagine seeing the card of a beloved comrade you lost in a desperate battle, now being sold for pennies online as 'useless' since no one cares or remembers their name like you do.
Also, Sasuke apparently has a card and I can't for the life of me see him granting approval for his likeness to be used so callously, which lends further credence to my idea that these are either utilized by the state without the permission of their soldiers to add more prestige to the shinobi lifestyle (and potentially net more revenue for the state from children who will grow up to revere these figures/hope to cultivate new ones that will aid their financial interests/goals) or serve as a complete corporate cash-grab designed by some trashy company not even involved in the real business of shinobi but smelling a profit-to-be-made.
Yeah, idk, I really, really dislike Boruto as a concept and story... but I cannot deny it is giving me so much to think about lol.
How would it feel to suffer both physically and emotionally your entire life as you serve as a weapon of the state, just for kids to now argue over your card's value (or lack thereof)? How would it feel to see a shinobi who slew your partner or child in battle during one of the ninja wars (Minato, Jiraiya, Kakashi - they've all got blood from different villages on their hands) now lauded as these ultimate, pure heroes that kids everywhere can and should idolize?
Imagine Madara being handed a holographic card of Izuna and learning that it is valued low for whatever arbitrary reason? Or Kurenai seeing kids trade Asuma's card away for a better one? Does the game gloss over figures like Fugaku, a victim of state-sanctioned genocide, or Rin, a child soldier who died a child? Like these are real people (in-universe), with real and painful stories.
Side note: That's why I think the Zabuza arc is so critical to Naruto because it disrupts the initial 'fun' of this world (one that from the outside boasts cool magic powers and talking animals) and reminds the reader that these are children who are taught and expected to kill or be killed.
The shinobi included in this game have been indoctrinated to build their prestige off of being 'good' little contract killers, violent war-machines, and empty vessels that can line the pockets of feudal investors... and now they're being commodified again and sold to children as aspirational figures.
Something, something... late-stage capitalism Konoha and the further commodification of child soldiers/truly using and viewing shinobi as monetized tools in not just the previously understood sense of arbiters of state violence, but as literal objects of entertainment for children in a way that promotes the status quo of glorifying war-mongering and violent espionage all to support the business interests of corrupt feudal lords?
I have nothing to add here, this panel was just from the same chapters and the absurdity of it made me laugh so I wanted to include it lol. WTF is this?
#I listened to the ninja info cards remix on repeat the entire time i wrote this so i think it may get more unhinged as the post goes on?#anti konoha#anti shinobi system#anti boruto#naruto#not serious#but lowkey serious at parts lol#i'll come back later to fix the typos my b#if i'm missing a tag please ping#Youtube

Till THE DEAD do us part |Chapter 12
A/N: This story will take place in all the seasons, but it’s not exactly a rewriting cause I’d have to re-watch everything to use the exactly lines of the characters, also I think it’s better if I tell a side story without changing the main facts of the story.
This story has a Female Reader, but I don’t describe her appearance, so anyone can identify with her.
Chapter 11 Chapter 13
Series Masterlist
Main Masterlist
Chapter 12: You already have me
Summary: Daryl couldn’t just resist Y/N only in one of his shirts waiting for him to sleep.
Warnings: pwp, smut, p in v, protected sex, oral (female and male), praise kink, use of the word f*ck 3x, soft cute dirty talk, pet names, untold feelings. Minors do not interact.
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x Grimes!Reader (Rick’s Sister)
Word Count: 1,906
Extra notes: I proofread the text, but English is not my first language, so feel free to correct any mistakes, of course with love. This Chapter is purely smut, no plot, really. Next chapter we go back to the series plot.
After another long day of work in the farm, you were back to yours and Daryl’s tent, you still smiled when you thought about, it was kind of nice to share something with a person, specially someone that meant something to you. The last days had been hectic, with a lot of discussion about what to do with Randall, the kid they brought from the city.
You took off your daily clothes and changed for one of Daryl’s shirts, they were big and comfortable, perfect to sleep. When you finished changing he entered the tent and drank you in, he had already lent you his flannels, but having you in just one of his shirts and probably your underwear, was really a sight.
“Are ya trying to seduce me?” He said zipping the door without taking his eyes off you.
“I’m not, but is it working?” You walked in his direction and put your arms around his neck.
“Now, ya tell me.” He got a hold on your waist and brought your body to meet his, you could clearly feel his erection on your belly.
You looked at his face, he hovered over you a little bit curved because of the tent height. “I think it was very useful to seduce you given your conditions…”
He had a smirk on his face when his lips touched yours, devouring them… He needed you so much, he had been wanting you for so long that it was overwhelming, also the stress of the last days had taken the best of him. It was as if he was sick and you were the cure.
“I need ya, I need to have ya.” He said forehead against forehead, his words burning like fire from your chest going straight to your core.
“You already have me, I’m yours.” You breath heavily, gasping for air. Both of you lowered to the ground laying over your sleeping bags, Daryl between your legs.
You kissed again, one arm supporting his weight and the other traveling from your thigh to your hips, to your belly and ending on your breasts. “No bra?” He broke the kiss to comment.
“I thought it was prohibited using one in this tent.” You gave him your sweetest smile.
“Good girl…” his husky voice on your ear made things to your panties. “Ya learn fast…”
You whimpered just by listening his voice and his praise. “Do ya like when I praise ya?” He asked cupping your breast, his thumb passing on your hard nipple. You just nodded, unable to say anything. “I made ya a question pup, use yer words to answer me.” His mouth close to your ear and then he licks a long strand from your jaw to your neck.
“Yes… I like it.” You said, your hands running down his chest to the hem of his shirt trying to pull it up. “Take it off.”
“Yes, ma’am.” He took his shirt off immediately, his mouth going back to your neck and unbuttoning the shirt of his that you were wearing.
When he finished with the shirt he took a time to record the moment in his mind, you laying, wearing one of his shirts, your breasts showing with your hard nipples and your cute panties. In your needy state, you thought he was taking too long to go back to business. “Take a picture, it lasts longer” you said the one thing he used to always tell you when you kept staring for too long. And he would take a picture, if he had a damn camera and now he hated himself for not having one.
He went back to your breasts now substituting his hands with his mouth sucking it and nibbling your nipples, eliciting the sweetest sounds from you. “That’s it baby, moan for me don’t keep your sweet little sounds from me.” His warm breath on your skin sending chills all over your body.
His mouth descending to your belly, going down to the place you needed him the most. His fingers pulled your underwear from your heat, you wriggled your hips and legs to help him taking it off faster. “Why the rush, pup?” He said giving you light little kisses between your thighs, you whined.
“Stop teasing… just do it, Daryl.” You cried tortured by the special treatment you were receiving from him.
“Nah… this is most of the fun.” He said too close to your core, his warm breath hitting your center and making you squirm in expectation.
He gave you one delicious kiss on your clit making you moan immediately and buck your hips. Your thighs closing instinctively trapping him between them. He gave a long lick on your folds feasting on your juices, your hand descended to hold his hair pressing his face against your pussy, his nose pressing your clit while his tongue worked heavens on your cunt making you whimper, squirm and moan. “Dee… please… please…” you pleaded him, you didn’t even know what you were requesting from him… a release? To just fuck you already? More?
“Not until you cum all over my face, baby…” He sucked your clit, nibbled it and then changed his attention again to your core tongue going as deep as he could.
Your hand never leaving his hair, hips trusting on his face, experiencing the delightful sensation of the pleasure building in your lower stomach. He couldn’t stop eating out your delicious pussy. Your moans mixing with the sound of him devouring your juices making it sounds so pornographic that Daryl could swear he was capable of cumin by just eating you. You arched your back, your grip on his hair got tighter and your other hand gripped the sleeping bag under you. Once again you were filled with that marvelous feeling exploding and spreading and making you shiver, shake and whine while Daryl was still with his face buried in you and helping you go through your orgasm.
“Fuck… I was dyin’ to do it since last time I tasted ya.” He said coming back between your legs and kissing your lips, hungry, thirsty, almost feral.
You could taste yourself in his mouth all together with his usual delicious taste and also tobacco that you weren’t really a fan, but tasted surprisingly well in his mouth. Your hands were on his back, but soon you took them to his stomach going to his waistband and unbuckling his belt, and oh you were happy he didn’t stop you this time. You opened his pants and put your hand inside on top of his bulge, palming it. It was rocking hard, he let out a groan before breaking the kiss. Your hands going to the waistband of his boxer pulling it down just enough to let his cock spring free.
You couldn’t contain your surprised face when you saw it, big and thick hitting his stomach once it was set free. You always thought dicks were such an ugly body part, but looking at Daryl’s you could affirm his was rather beautiful, even the hair he got that came from his belly and went down there. You pushed his trousers and box down the maximum that your arms allowed you, you just wanted him naked as soon as possible with his dick inside you. “‘Kay baby, I got it, gonna take them off.” He distanced himself just enough to get rid of his remaining pieces of clothing going back to you.
You sat and looked down at his throbbing dick, you couldn’t just resist. “C-can I touch it?” You asked and he just took your hand in his, and guided to his cock.
“Ya don’t need to ask, just touch it. It’s yers.” He hissed once your hand was around it, caressing, rubbing… going up and touching the head.
“Can I taste it, just a little bit?” You asked doe eyes looking at him, how could he say no to such a pretty thing like you, when you asked so nicely. He loved how you were so submissive in a moment like this, as outside the sheets you didn’t take any shit from him or anyone.
“Just a little bit, pup. I don’t wanna cum in yer mouth, not today.” He caressed your cheek and let you take your time.
You tried giving small licks on its head feeling the salty taste of precum, he got a hold on your hair just to stable himself, because the wave of pleasure that was sent through his body shook him. You gave a long lick along his shaft eliciting groans and grunts from him, and when you got to the head again you put it inside your mouth sucking and humming on it, eyes on his face and he was making the most pretty faces for you. He let out a moan and he couldn’t continue like this anymore, if your mouth continued any little longer on him, he would lose it, fuck your mouth and forget all the things he wanna do to you.
He pulled you from his dick pulling your hair and taking a look at your blushed face, swollen lips and bit of spit going from your mouth to your chin. “It’s enough baby, now I need to feel ya around me.” He said curving to give you a quick kiss. He took a condom and handed it to you. “Wanna make the honors?”
You took the pack and ripped it open taking the rubber to place it on Daryl’s cock. Thanks anyone up there, you had learned how to do it on sex education. Because before, you were never offered the chance of doing it.
When you finished, Daryl’s hand went to your nape tangling his fingers in your hair and bringing your face close to his for a kiss. He made you lay down again and in between your heated kiss he started to rub his length up and down between your folds spreading your juices all over his shaft. You moaned between your lips, hips trusting into him while he tortured you with his teasing and didn’t do what you wanted him to do so much. “Eager, are we?” He asked, breaking the kiss and looking into you half closed half open eyes.
“Oh Daryl… please… just…” You pleaded him, begged unable to say the words of what you really wanted and overwhelmed by his cock fucking your folds.
“Please wha’, baby?” He asked hands caressing your hair.
“Please…” You cried, ‘make love to me’ you wanted to say, but even with all the possessiveness, all the protection and all the unsaid words both of you had in your eyes, you couldn’t dare to ask it of him, because you didn’t know what he really felt, you didn’t even know exactly what you felt and you were so afraid of losing him and everything that you got. “Please, fuck me.”
“Didn’t know ya were such a dirty girl…” He said still moving outside your pussy.
“I am, ‘cause of you.” You barely managed to say. God, if he continued like this you’d come again just by the brush of his dick outside of you. “Dee… if you don’t go inside me any soon… I’m gonna cum again just like…”. You didn’t get to finish your sentence as the amazing electric wave of pleasure rushed all over your body, making you whimper and shiver out of pleasure.
“Ma dirty girl” He said caressing your hair and your face, peppering small kisses here and there. “Say ya’re ma dirty girl.” He rubbed the tip os his cock on your entrance, making you feel dumb because the words couldn’t come out of your mouth. “Hm… just tell me.”
“I’m… your dirty girl, Daryl…” you said breathlessly thinking you’d probably die from anticipation. “Now, please, gimme your cock.”
“Don’t need to ask twice.” He said, ‘very funy’ you thought ‘just as if you didn’t make me beg you some seconds ago’.
He knew there was some time you didn’t have anyone inside of you, you were well lub, but he knew he should start things slow. He started pushing himself inside you and oh god the sensation of him stretching you was too much, you felt like he couldn’t go any further, but you needed him deeper. You felt already so full, but still it seemed like it wasn’t enough. “Fuck, ya’re so tight. I can barely move.” He hissed. “Are ya ok?”
“Yeah… uhg… just go until you’re full inside me” you answered arms around his torso, your fingers brushing lightly his back.
He moved a little bit more inside you and you couldn’t help moaning while he groaned the restraining feeling on his dick almost pulling him on the edge. “We’re almost there, pup.” Once he said it, bottomed out. “Tell me when I can move.”
“Okay”, you said, one hand caressing his hair, the other holding on his shoulder drawing little circles on it. Once adjusted to him, you gave him permission to move. “We can keep going.”
He pulled almost everything out, just to go fully deep again. He was slow but it didn’t mean he was being soft, he was a delicious mixture of rough and soft that you needed to know how to appreciate. “How d’ya like it, baby?” He asked face hidden on your neck, lips almost brushing your ears. “Wanna it slow and sweet or rough and fast?” He moved inside you in a torturing pace and you just wanted him to do his magic and send you to wonderland again.
“Whatever you like Dee… whatever you wanna do is what I want.” God, you just wanted to be fucked it didn’t matter how.
“Pup, if I did everything I wanted with ya, you’d probably not walk by tomorrow.” He pounded into you pulling out slowly and bottoming out in one quick movement, eliciting a whine from you. “If it’s too much, tell me.”
“Okay, I’ll tell you.” You said looking deep into his blue eyes that were like an ocean where you’d not mind to dive deep in.
He kissed you once again passionately while his hips trusted into you pursuing the best pace, the right one, hitting further into you just in that place that would make you see stars. You put your legs around his waist feet resting on his butt, you just wanted him to go deeper which was impossible since you were already almost fused as one person, that was how close you were. “Daryl… more, I need more…” you begged him as he hit that exactly spot inside you that sent you to the moon and back. “Fuck… yes… right there”. He continued lips on your neck sucking it and nibbling it, you were perfect, he had never experienced something so good before, not that he was sober enough to enjoy it properly any of those times. But in that moment, he was aware of everything, you, your surroundings, all the sensations, his untold feelings.
He hit that same spot again, and again, and again. It was becoming too much, you bit your lips trying to restrain not your moans, but the scream that was begging to be released from your lungs, you could be wrong, but you were pretty sure the others would listen if you screamed. You felt pathetic being so worked up, you were not even going kinky, but it had been so long and nobody had ever made you feel good like Daryl did, all the feelings were maximized. “Moan for me baby… I wanna listen to ya.” He said, breathing heavily his voice even more deep and hoarse.
“It’s… too much. I… I wanna… scream…” You tried saying between his trusts and jolts of the overwhelming pleasure being shot throughout your body. He caught your hands intertwining your fingers, putting your arms up your head, looking at your eyes, watching how your face contorted in pleasure. God, he loved it… he loved… he felt like he wanted to fuck you every single day of his life and he wouldn’t get bored, he’d be happy, all his problems would be solved. He was lost in you and scared, and he couldn’t stop himself from coming for more, wanting more.
“Ya can scream, scream ma name, moan it, do whatever ya feel like to…” he was almost there, he could feel it, and didn’t want to go without you, or before you. He took one of his hand between you, while the other continued to hold your hand, and touched your clit, circling it, pressing it… you were close now too, he could feel you clenching around him bringing him closer to his realese. He hit that delicious spot just one more time and sent you to the edge a scream of his name, as he reached his too biting your shoulder as he did so, trusting a few more times till both of you had gone through it.
He pressed his body against yours, not pulling out just yet. He observed your face, your breathing, your hands still holding, your eyes looking all over his face. If you weren’t sure before, now you were… you were definitely screwed. You had it bad for the archer. “ya good?” He asked, his other hand taking some hair from your face.
You nodded unable to say anything, holding his hand tightly, bringing it from above your head and resting it between your chests. “You good?” You asked him back. He took your hands and kissed the back of yours, then your forehead, the tip of your nose and a quick peck on your lips. “Ya’re perfect. ya did it so good. ya took it so well… I’m proud of ya.” His words sending that tingling sensation down to your core.
“Damn, you can’t talk so nice to me like that, or you’re going to have me all worked up again.” You confessed embarrassed trying to hide your face.
“That’s the whole point of it.” He said playfully, something you didn’t always get from him.
Very reluctantly he pulled out from you and got rid of the used condom. You were buttoning up the shirt again when he came back to you and stopped you. “Let me see ya shoulder, I guess I bit ya too harsh.” You stopped and let him take a look, it was red, he could see the mark of his teeth clearly there. It was probably going to become purple too. “ ‘m sorry.”
“I didn’t mind at the moment. I don’t mind now. It felt good.” You said while he gave a chaste kiss right at the spot he had bit.
You finished buttoning the shirt while he wore sweatpants and took a clean rag to clean you from your own juices. After it, you laid on the sleeping bags and you motioned for him to lay on your chest and he did.
Now he was starting to get used to it, being taken care of, being ‘laying on your chest’ intimate with you… and he couldn’t just stop accepting everything you were so willing giving to him.

For those who didn't get the reference, rice balls = jelly-filled doughnuts is a notorious dubbing choice made by the 4kids company for the Pokemon English adaptation. At the time of its airing, it was in vogue to Americanized anything foreign, hence why Brock asked if anyone wanted some donuts despite clearly being rice balls.
I dabbled with the idea of Resh'an dressing in fancy clothes (because it's a date), but decided to leave him with his default clothing. Part of that is just so I can punch these pages out faster, and partially because Resh'an isn't really saying it's a date just in case he gets rejected and it'll break his stupid, fragile heart, so why bother dressing up so nicely anyway? This is totally two friends hanging out together.
This is also why Pitou is not here. Other than Resh'an wanting privacy between him and Specter, I just didn't want to draw another character. I almost considered the dog, but this comic has to be between these two only.
Obviously, Resh'an is panicking over Specter's remark that the latter dated hundreds of people because he feels insignificant. Just another number in Specter's relationship count. Which is incredibly hypocritical of him given his sexual body count is equally as high. But he doesn't have Aephorul to tell him he's a special snowflake.
Propeller Knight AKA Aleron Jean-Olivier Placentaur (he took Donovan's last name when they married) nee Belrose (the royal surname he had to discard when he renounced his heritage) lived a very long life. He was cremated and had his ashes spread thousands of feet up in the air from his beloved airship. His second-in-command took over as captain. He is survived by his eternal husband, his illegitimate daughter (from a one time fling with an old love) and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Specter Knight kept a few of his beloved's belongings (his rapier, some of his sketch books, diaries, etc.) in his private castle for an untold number of centuries before they were either lost or disintegrated. He stayed aboard Propeller's airship to guide the crew for a bit, but eventually departed. The only time he would return is when he took up the mantle of Propeller Knight 500 years later, this time as a space pirate. But that's another story...
Specter Knight would eventually take off his wedding ring. He just keeps it as a memento of his love, among other trinkets and personal items he's collected over time.
The quote above is from Pixar's "Up", but the song choice is from their film "Soul." It just sounds more appropriate and I like the track a lot.
...Undead beings cannot cry. ;)

I've seen a lot of people trying to get into the BSD light Novels and quite frankly you can read them in order but I do have a recommendation about the order I think makes more sense chronologically regarding the story.
So:
1. LN 3. The Untold Origins of the Armed Detective Agency.
2. LN 1. Osamu Dazai's Entrance Exam.
These two take place prior to the beginning of the main timeline and are actually a great way of understanding Ranpo and the partnership between Dazai and Kunikida (also recommend LN 1 to anime only watchers because they mixed the first chapters of the manga with Dazai's entrance exam which takes place 2 years prior to the manga and they royally screwed up on Kunikida's characterisation by doing that)
3. LN 7. Dazai, Chuuya, Age Fifteen
(the manga was good but I feel like you might understand Dazai and Chūya's dynamic and the difference of their relationship to both Mori and the Mafia once you read this)
4. LN 8. Stormbringer
(you might actually understand Chūya as a character after you read this one, dives a bit deeper into his relationship with Dazai, explains who Verlaine actually is and talks about stuff that's mentioned afterwards in the manga, like singularities)
5. LN 9. The Day I Picked up Dazai side A
(this happens at some point between LN 7 and LN 2, and helps you understand Dazai and Oda's relationship prior to reading LN 2, how Oda ended up in the Mafia and also a bit more dive into Dazai's character)
6. LN 2. Osamu Dazai and The Dark Era
(better than shown in the anime, allows you to see how Oda sees Dazai since it's written from his pov, a good dive into Dazai's character while in the mafia and why he actually left )
Once you finish The Guild arc
7. LN 4. 55 Minutes
8. LN 5. Dead Apple
(so, the first one is a bit crazy but actually dives a lot into Atsushi's character, explains weird phenomena in BSD regarding singularities and how Dazai isn't affected by certain abilities even without touch, how Yosano can actually use her ability on Dazai and I find it quite interesting, HG Wells is an interesting character as well)
(Dead Apple is entertaining and dives once again into characters and their abilities but also explains weird singularities again, also the bond between Dazai and Chūya, it also gets a bit weird towards the end in regards to things happening that might be hard to understand but the rest is easier to understand than in the movie adaptation)
9. LN 9. The Day I Picked up Dazai side B
(it's set in the alternate universe of LN 6. Beast and a great point to understand Dazai's actions and motivations in said light novel)
10. LN 6. Beast
(it should come with a warning that it's going to ruin your mental health for a while, an alternate universe of BSD, brings in the Book so you might one to read this during/after the cannibalism arc because it kind of explains a bit what the book does or how it kind of works, definitely needs a bit more explaining but it is good info before starting with the vampirism arc and all that stuff, the book is important and there's talk about singularities again. It's also cool to see how the same characters adapt to a different lifestyle, Akutagawa in the ADA, Atsushi in the PM, kyouka in the PM but with Atsushi, Dazai if he stayed in the PM, the ending will fully rip your heart out if the rest of the novel hasn't done it before that and I really recommend the manga adaptation of it because the art style is *chef's kiss* and heart wrenching)
Done with my rant now, you can still read them in their publishing order this is just my recommendation. Also, LN 9 is not out on paper yet and I think we only have fan translations online but it is definitely worth it, @popopretty has a really good translation of it.
And LN 7 is getting a manga adaptation which is also looking really good so you can check it out.
LN 5 has a manga adaptation as well as being a film and this one is not written by Asagiri but is still canon so you have that.

Feeling like putting down my find so here is
JV/Ant Davidson Timeline
(Can’t guarantee 100% accuracy on all info, can’t guarantee no bias no projection, not using there full names because guess what, so less info about them together if you google their names together my blog appears on the 1st page)
JV was raised in Switzerland. Did math and computer science in Switzerland. He found out he needed an engineer background to enter F1 so went back to England to get a master in that. Got to work at BAR(later Honda, Brawn, Merc) eventually. (He had a billion interview on him hustling his way to BAR but that’s not relevant to the story here)
Ant was raised in a middle class family. Went to Karting with brother and he was more interested and started to compete in Karting. He worked his way to Formula Ford and was lucky to get a sponsorship( the sponsor bought a house and let him lived there). His sponsor talked to him about career choice, at that time, test driver made a decent amount of money and that f1 seat seems a bit too distant. So Ant ended up in BAR around the same time as JV
Well JV was not that much of an engineering guy. His job going into Honda was a combination of some data analysis, coordination between departments and some engineer. There was no proper strategist job back in the days so he just bounced around. (The untold interview he said he was suppose to fix an electronic problem on the front wing, Evan Short ended up doing that. Not saying that he knew nothing but inferring from his other interview, he definitely needed help). (Even now strategist have “low” status in the team since only the principal strategist can go to the track and everyone back home’s job is make sure to feed enough info through TR that the principal’s eyes are always on track).
Meanwhile, Ant was doing amazing as a test driver, too amazing that Honda was reluctant to release him to do actual f1 racing. He missed a seat(which team I forgot) but Honda eventually agreed to let him race for Super Aguri in 2007. That team didn’t last.
Then came the Brawn year. Before 2009, JV and Ant were already starting to worry about their jobs and registered a company together. Company never took off because here comes Brawn GP.
After the championship, our champ Jenson was scheduled to do victory laps in the factory for the fans but he already buggered off to McLaren. Ant did the laps and JV was his engineer for that.
Then came the Merc years.
Ant was doing a bunch of different things then: racing in WEC, driving the Merc simulator and later became a sky sport host. Ant missed the chance of winning a championship(he also missed a podium due to bad luck in 2007) but he got one eventually. When Alonso returned to F1, Ant interviewed him asking if Alonso remembered them racing against each other in WEC, Alonso did not remember. Ant also did Jenson’s retirement interview. Ant also did some interview later saying he was too nice to be competing in this shark tank of f1, nice guy can’t win races.
JV was doing a bunch of different things in Merc as well. He was in charge of simulator, junior team, esport team and development data analysis software for premier league(honorable mention: he wrote the drivers code of conduct in 2016 to prevent Lewis and Nico fighting). Ant was a reliable simulator driver, JV was working a lot with Ant at that time(JV didn’t need to be present for the crowd strike thing but he was there…) (Also they Merc’s equipment to tune cars for their friend’s Karting league, naughty boys). I want to believe JV cares about drivers he works with, especially junior team (he went up to hug Esteban Ocon(Merc junior driver) after his 2021 Hungarian gp win(Merc strategy was a disaster that race)
Ant said JV is one of his best friends. He phoned JV a lot during the Honda and Brawn years. Ant also texted JV to ask for technical details when he started to comment for Sky( Ant joked in 2023 pre season test that JV is getting to busy with his TP job to reply to his texts). JV also bugged Ant for a VIP pass during Ant’s LeMans years. JV had spent time with Ant’s family doing barbecue for JV’s birthday. JV is Ant’s kids’ god father.
Projection time: Brawn and Merc years treated JV so well he probably is a bit idealist about things now. The stuff he said at Williams make sense if your work experience is a streak of championships. JV will probably never get a reality check so hard the way Ant exit F1(divorce? Idw). Knowing they are good friends make me happy.

Remember how I said Lena would be uncovering skeletons from Fazbear Entertainment's closet in my Five Nights at Freddy's WIP More Than Bargained For?. Well, the corpses of children stuffed in animatronics after being murdered by a serial-killing co-founder isn't the only think she discovers; Lena, with the guidance of one "Mike Schmidt", she also uncovers a history of tragedies surrounding one family feud in a house full of nightmares and a forgotten rental service too. Unbeknownst to the young Elliot woman, she is inadvertently aiding Mike under the company's untold policy of "Paragraph 4", with the intent of bringing all Fazbear-related animatronics back to one ultimate pizzeria. What could possibly go wrong?:

"There is a legend A legend born long ago About a wicked A wicked man no one knows Went and unraveled Six innocent little souls
Those souls found bodies The bodies started to move Some say they still walk Walk the halls, staying from view
I got a secret that I am here to tell you That place is this very place And all the stories are true
This world's a scary place We're not monsters, just changed Bigger hands for grabbing ahold We were lost to foul play But we got an upgrade Lots more teeth for eating you whole
Here comes another chapter Your heart is beating faster Because you're the one we're after Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Thank you for bringing us home
We were just like you Like you, just playing a game That's when the wicked Wicked man lead us astray Without a warning Our lives have been rearranged
As for our story The story's not over yet There's still one secret One secret left to be said
Tonight when you are Safely tucked into your bed Close all the doors that you want We're already in your head
Thank you for bringing us home
Here comes another chapter Your heart is beating faster Because you're the one we're after Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Thank you for bringing us home
Thank you for bringing us home
Thank you for bringing us home
Thank you for bringing us home!"
Now on one hand, I don't initially believe this song actually fits my Wings And Horns WIP. However, on the other hand, in relation to Jezebel Ba'al's story (and maybe a bit of Cadet Azriel's too, being the implied soul of a particular bearded cult leader's dead daughter and all, plus committing to her service as an Angel of Death just so she can finally reach reincarnation), I think this can fit within the context of a story that's centered around the pros and cons of living in a world where a divine system like the Soulmate System exists, especially when you have two young characters like Azriel and Jezebel, the former hearing nothing but good things about having a Soulmate while the latter (and other's like her) have been directly harmed by the system's flawed structure, and how both are influenced by their well-meaning if extreme father/authority figures:
youtube
"Down the rabbit hole, we saw you come in Through the glass of our cages chained up where we live Where we live Please don't be afraid We're a little bent Broken souls looking for a way to start again Start again
How can we ever be free When our prison is skin deep Left to rot* underneath Buried us down below so no one sees Daddy's little monsters
Listen to the voice keeping you alive You need us, we need you, it'll be alright Yeah, it's alright We don't wanna stay under lock and key You can help break the curse, we all wanna live** Wanna live**
How can we ever be free When our prison is skin deep Left to rot* underneath Buried us down below so no one sees Daddy's little monsters!"
[*Given rust is more for metal, rot fits well enough for both physical flesh and the "soul flesh" that Cadet Azriel and Jezebel have both experienced. **I used "live" instead of "leave" because even... well... the latter doesn't really make much sense in this context, while the former can be interpreted as Jezebel saying "we all want to live our lives without being it being predestined for us" especially with out trapping being fated to a soulmate can be (especially for the likes of Jezebel whose experienced a bad fating, and Azriel wants to be reincarnated so she can live again, but not be stuck in a similar fate to Jezebel if she gets the chance of rebirth, so at this point, here is where Azriel's opinion on the Soulmate System begins to shift].
In the unnamed Fallout 2 WIP from my A Radioactive Calamity Of Love, Bombs & Gore series, Ore returns to California (where last time he was there, his father Arcane Urias had mutilated his face after Ore declined joining him on his quest of human destruction) after exploring the Wastelands a bit more and to say goodbye to a good friend. However, instead he not only meets his friend's granddaughter Finidy Mona, but also finds evidence that his father has returned in the area. He decides to partner up with Finidy to help him track down and kill his father to stop him and his nefarious deeds by retracing his steps from Shady Sands to New Reno. This also relates to how, chronologically timeline-wise, this WIP is the last prequel of sorts and closing the chapter on Ore's story in California plus Urias and Talos' origins before the focus goes onto Ress.
youtube
"You set the stage all by yourself You have a job, do it well And play your part to host their final farewell
An event Just like the first time Put to rest Their souls tonight
It's going back, back, back, back They've been through this before It's going back, back, back, back The final page of the lore The sound of cheer, the need for fear The souls of the kids are free Rewind the tears
It's going back, back, back, back Back, back, back, back, back Back, back, back, back, back Back, back, back, back, back It's going-!"
Now for the quiz results for OCs from my The Silver Chronicles and Life, Despair & Monsters series. Most of these will likely be unfamiliar to you guys:
HUNTRESS CAROLINE JÄGER (THE SILVER CHRONICLES [BLOODBORNE])
Pretty accurate given the ending she gets. Unafraid to face what others refused to see, and too stubborn to look away from it. If it's something she could fix, then the Horrors be damned. Is it a shame, though, if it meant she could no longer wake up from such a terrible, horrible dream, if just to get a glimpse of the rising sun?
HUNTER TOBIAS JÄGER (THE SILVER CHRONICLES [BLOODBORNE])
How different these two are; the sister transcends to something new and unfamiliar, but here, the brother holds onto what made sense and what was once precious to him, even if holding on stops him from moving forward. And all he has to show for it is a fragment of what he lost.
DARKBEAST CONSTANCE (THE SILVER CHRONICLES [BLOODBORNE])
No matter how much he boasts about being true to Yahar'gul's ideals, he is still a lesser man than he is a true beast.
LOGAN THE VAGABOND OF NO RENOWN (THE SILVER CHRONICLES [ELDEN RING])
Fucking poetic considering what he does and who comes crawling out of it. While Logan is an unpleasant and selfish person, he himself becomes a vessel for all the good things he'll pass on to his successor; someone that will succeed against the destined odds where he and everyone else failed.
RICO (LIFE, DESPAIR & MONSTERS [CYBERPUNK 2077])
Staying in Night City (whether it be for the guy you were always at the beck and call of, not just out of loyalty and idealism, but genuine love, even if he didn't necessarily share the same love you felt and eventually became a stranger to you, or for the mentored young woman you see so much life coursing through her veins within a city as horrid as NC, and also see so much of yourself and the other in, yet is cruelly destined for far less than she deserves and spends that little time with others that aren't you, knowing this goodbye is the last goodbye you'll ever make as she leaves behind everything for those final months of something better... or maybe you stay because it's all you've ever known and believe you'll be useful in) does not have much benefits.
LORA (LIFE, DESPAIR & MONSTERS [ARCANE: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS])
Ever wonder if, in spite of how much you try, you're just destined to be alone? Lora chases after something things that won't ever leave her fulfilled or satisfied. In the end it's this that dooms her to solitude.

Okay- so I feel like im a bit calm (definitely real) after yesterdays finale to properly make a statement about it
And I really want to put a few of these points out there while the tags are still trending and while I still have time cuz now that AAA I finally over I really need to focus on my studies which is gonna be hard…..but yeah it is what it is
And honestly
Look idc what anyone says anymore
Yes there were some loose ends and a whole lot of questions
And I get that a lot of people were upset…..believe me I was too and still am
But I wanna be a voice of positivity
cuz I feel like whatever plot wholes they left
Like jac said were there for US to interpret
Or as my delusional ass is telling me maybe theyre setting up for another season???
And yes for those of you whore saying that we shouldn’t be the ones to figure theyre story out YOURE RIGHT, I AGREE WE SHOULDNT
But at the end of the day it still was a marvel show
And Whatever it was
It was an amazing experience
Yes we had our highs and lows
And Looking back on Agatha’s story, yes I do feel a mix of admiration and frustration. There was so much potential in exploring her relationship with Rio and the complex layers of her own journey, which felt overshadowed in the end. At times, the focus on Agatha's role as a mother felt like it could have been handled differently and Instead of fully delving into Agatha’s growth, her story was ultimately used to elevate Billy’s arc, leaving her character, her grief, and her love for Rio without the closure they deserved.
That being said
Again while it's fair to wish for a bit more closure for characters like Agatha, Rio, Jen, and Alice,
I truly do think jac schaeffer is a genius
like for a really long time i used to think that we were reading too deep into scenes and that they arent actually that deep and we’re just being delusional
But watching, reading interviews of her
Finding out that as a matter of fact it actually IS that deep
And that everything means something and nothing is unintensional
just hearing her talk about the characters she writes is such a fulfilling feeling you have no idea
its the way she understands those characters and portrays their trauma….She really cares for themm
she does her research and makes sure she understand her characters and the lore
unlike *cough michael waldron cough*
Who couldnt even be bothered enough to watch a show which was an indefinitely important arc for one of the characters he was assigned to write for a movie
Its just-
Look all im tryna say is
Shes a master in her craft and no one does it like her
despite everything she provided us with two of MARVELs best shows up to date and no one can tell me other wise
Cuz While the narrative pivot left parts of Agatha’s story untold, Schaeffer's dedication to character depth shows her commitment to storytelling which you can really see in the way she talks about those characters
again while I wasnt satisfied with the finale its her dedication to understanding these characters, down to the smallest detail means so much to me.
Cuz it’s not just about the story—she collaborates with her actors to bring out the arcs they envision which makes it even more special
And It’s truly disappointing that Marvel didn’t fully capitalize on the opportunity to explore Agatha’s own arc in its entirety, especially with such a capable writer at the helm.
Still, I’m hopeful that future stories will revisit and give the characters like Agatha and Rio the focus they deserve
And i reallyyy hope they sign jac up as a writer for future projects
Cuz ultimately, I think her approach to these characters makes her one of the standout storytellers in Marvel right now, and I’m excited to see what she does next with all the new responses from the fandom
I hope you guys get what im trying to say
Anyways to conclude my thoughts
Whatever it was
I truly did love this show
And ill really miss coming back home on Thursdays to watch the new episodes drop

Just curious, opinions on the different nutcrackers that you know of from all kinds of media and stuff?
Sorry if anyone asked this before I wouldn't know
Love your art and characters by the way keep it up!
Hohohohohohohoho, we be opening the Pandora Box here. Not that I'm complaining~
So, this is going to be a very long post as I've seen a lot of the movies. I also have a couple books which I can give my opinion, and I'm familiar with various apparitions in videogames and such. So yeah this is going to be a loooooooong post.
So buckle up, grab a drink and enjoy the ride into my personal madness o7
[ CAREFUL, VERY LONG POST UNDER THE CUT ]
So, let's start with movies as those are easier to grab and talk about for me. I'm gonna go with their year of release ot keep things organized.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Shchelkunchik (1973)
Small silly dramatic guy, I like him! The animators did a great job animating his design and make him incredibly appealing. As for his human appearance, eeeeeh I don't really care for him. Definitely a shock the first time you see it lol But yes, adorable silly guy
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Nutcracker Fantasy (1979)
Li'l guy. It is Sanrio so it's bound to be on the cute side. The Nutcracker itself doesn't do much in the movie, but as for Fritz himself, I... honestly don't care about him. He looks pretty, but personality wise he needs to work on it pff Idk he just comes out as plain and a little arrogant... Still a fine fellow, though.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Nutcracker: The Motion Picture (1986)
One of the two ballet-based movies I've seen, and definitely the better one of the two imo. And good lord I love this guy. He may look terrifying but good lord if he's silly. And I actually don't mind his human appearance as simple as it is. Silly man, this one.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The Nutcracker Prince (1990)
HIM. MY BELOVED. THE GOOD LAD. Definitely my favorite, and not because this was my most beloved childhood movie. He is such a sweetheart with a hint of awkwardness but who can still kick your ass. And the final scene in the castle in the Italian dub is just *chef kiss* 10/10 lad.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The Nutcracker (1993)
The other ballet-based movie... it's just Macaulay Culkin. And his nutcracker costume looks hideous lol. Nothign to say. Surprisingly, he's not the worst one.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The Nuttiest Nutcracker (1999)
Ripoff Ken. He is incredibly dumb, and a tiny bit of a freak, but could be worse honestly kdjng They did Barbie before Barbie did it lol that's p much it.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Barbie in the Nutcracker (2001)
THE OTHER GOOD LAD. I love Eric so much he's such a sweetheart wanting to fix his mistakes. It's so easy to root for him. As for his human appearance... he's just Ken skjngf 10/10 lad #2
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The Nutcracker and the MouseKing (2004)
Oh boy what to say about this one. Very hateful in the first half. At least he learns and becomes bearable at the last third of the movie. But I do like the nutcracker form, they made the blocky design work as well, like later on it's actually very nice to see him move. Still, horrible personality. Needs a slap in the face.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Nutcracker in 3D / Nutcracker: The Untold Story (2010)
Hellspawn. Nightmare fuel. Abomination. Who the hell approved to that design?? And why did they pitch up his voice like that?? At least the kid playing human NC is not as bad, but good lord. 0/10 Just burn that puppet with fire, please.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (2018)
This one just pisses me off. This one had so much potential, and the actor is actually good. It's just the way his character was written that is dog awful. They made him basically a dumb side character who barely does anything despite everyone in the movie treating him like he's a big shot. And the the fact that this was made by Disney just makes this worse. Just so much lost potential.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The Nutcracker (???)
I actually don't know who made this movie or in which year, but I do like this one. The movie is comedic so he's a bit silly, but he's still quite enjoyable. And for some reason he reminds me of Waluigi.... Still, silly guy.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
That's all for the movies. There are a bunch more that I've missed or that I can't find anymore so my list of opinions on them is not complete. But one day...
---
As for other medias, hm... I have a couple books that are just the original story by Hoffman and the retell by Duman (of which I don't have much to say) and the graphic novel by Natalie Andrewson.
He's just a li'l guy, silly kid but enjoyable.
---
Lastly, while there are no actual nutcracker based games, I do want to mention a few skins and characters I am aware of for the hell of it. I'm pretty sure I will be forgetting some but eh.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Terraria
Silly guy that speeeens. I wish I didn't have to kill them skgjfn.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Overwatch
As much as I now despise Overwatch for many reasons, I still love Zenyatta's nutcracker skin to death. Look at this silly guy. Definitely my favorite skin in the game.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Saints Row IV
SR4 had a Christmas themed DLC, and among all the xmas reskins of the enemies, one was the terminator-like enemies being turned into Nutcrackers. And their design look so sick.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Fortnite
I don't play Fortnite, but I do have to admit that the nutcracker guy looks neat. The crazy look fits the look quite well. If I would ever get in there (I doubt it but still), that would definitely be the skin I would use.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Lethal Company
I don't play LC neither but I've seen videos of the nutcracker enemy in action, and yeah he looks silly. I love how he moves around.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~
That's all of the apparitions that I can think of. I'm also aware of the point-and-click game made by Big Fish Games, but I have not played it myself. I really should do that one day...
---
Aaaaaand that's a wrap. I'm definitely forgetting a nutboi or two somewhere but these are all the ones I can think of at the top of my head that are officially published and all.
If we start talking about folks in social medias I've come to know over the years... I'm gonna be here for 3 months trying to talk about them dkjfgn
Well, hope you enjoyed this personal spiraling into nut madness :V
