Feliks being afraid of vampires and werewolves is kinda funny bcs of two things:

Historically, Jogaila, the prince of Lithuania, was believed to be a werewolf, that's why Poles offered a bath to him to check his genitalia to see if he actually was a werewolf. As you suspect, he was not. So the "show me your dick and balls" in hetalia is accurate! But also, Liet is a werewolf anyway so.

Feliks has a boyfriend that he has to learn not to be afraid of because of his fear of wolves respectfully as well as forced fear by Vatican of werewolves.

Vatican also very much forced the fear of vampires, the undead before zombies.

And Feliks' best friend is Romania and his little brother Moldova. Both canonically vampires? And come on I never saw anybody that didn't headcannon them as vampires.

So yeah it's kinda funny if Feliks is afraid of both werewolves and vampires.

If your transition goal is to have a complete removal of all your internal and external genitalia, there is a real surgery that people get to do that. It’s called genital nullification.

It’s also called nullectomy or nullo.

It’s not a very new or super complicated surgery. Everything is taken out/taken off and you’re left with just a hole for your urethra (where you urinate out of). The urethra may be moved as part of surgery. If you research the procedure you’ll also probably hear them talk about urethral shortening, because nullification is mostly done on cis men/transfems/nonbinary patients who require a penectomy as part of the surgery.

Now don’t get this for an aesthetic or because you like how dolls look. It takes 6-8 weeks of recovery and is as serious a decision as any other bottom surgery. More info is here and here. This website has some info and pictures (graphic warning) of nullification along with phallus-preserving vaginoplasty, another nonbinary surgery.

I'm okay with not being "normal". In fact, I think it's a good thing.

With regards to my genitals, that is not my gender; those are just body parts. My gender is more like an art project; something I'm constantly working on and experimenting with, an extension of myself. Something I create.

Sure, my genitals do not "work" the way people expect, but what does that even matter if I myself am happy with that? Even in considering SRS, it's never been about desiring "working" genitals for me, just ones that feel right to me. I don't want them to "work". It is entirely about my own enjoyment of them. If other people want to try to say that the functionality of my genitals determines my gender, well, they can go right ahead, but I think that's weird and invasive. I mean, you came into my inbox talking about my genitals, it's creepy. I don't know you.

Here is one of my problems with The New Norm cartoon. How is Chaz the antagonist if they can’t defend themselves? Towards the end of the pilot, Norm tosses a beer at Chaz. The latter says they’re not 21. Charlie (Norm’s friend) questions why Chaz doesn’t want to beer, but is cool with kids getting their genitals “cut off”. Chaz is scared and calls government workers.

Chaz is likely a teen, but they are sent to by the government to educate Norm. How is a scared teen supposed to be the bad guy? A way for Chaz to defend themselves is to say that they’re trans, but they haven’t gotten a surgery. People don’t need a surgery to be trans after all. Chaz can also say that gender surgeries aren’t given to kids.

Great question! I would probably go back and do more world building ahead of introducing the presentation structure I used in my room full of coral series. It hinges on single sex designations “presenting” from baseline genitalia and while I had it all in my head, I realize in hindsight that I didn’t explain it as well as I could have. That a single sex omega could exist as a pup, could present, and still be male or female — that kind of stuff. I didn’t want to default to making male omegas dual sex or deal with anal genitalia, but I didn’t flesh out that process as much as I could have in the story itself — people had to ask me about it on here, which I feel bad about.

I would probably figure out beta sex a little bit more in that same framework. I haven’t written myself into a corner necessarily but I do recognize that I haven’t given betas their due when it comes to pleasure, since the current framework posits betas as defenders and child rearers while alpha/omega pairs copulate. I don’t necessarily disagree with that, I think it makes sense in pack hierarchy, but I still want to give them something, you know? Something Alfred could have had with Martha and Thomas. Etc.

But overall yeah! I’m very happy. I think I put a unique spin on some common a/b/o tropes and I’m proud of that part. There’s lots of lampshading in my fics and that brings me great joy.

Intersex, Trans, Feminine

Heads up for talk of anatomy and genitals in a non-sexual context

As an intersex trans person, I can only describe my transition as uniquely hermaphroditic. My transition, my transsexual experiences, will not look like anyone else's because it is inseperable from my individual intersex experiences.

I desire femininity, even if my femininity is one I often lack words to describe. And that femininity is an intersex femininity in addition to a trans femininity.

Every part of my body that others try so hard to gender any other way besides the way I want to label it is feminine and intersex. Each step in my transition is feminine and intersex, regardless of the hormones I'm on or the surgeries I choose to have. Estrogen and Testosterone both become feminine intersex hormones when they enter my hermaphroditic transsexual body.

Would I have made the same decisions I have about my body and my gender expression if I were instead a perisex trans person? I cannot say, but what I do know is that my experience of it would not have been the same - everything about my being trans is related to my being intersex.

I was able to wear underwire bras that fit my intersex anatomy for the first time yesterday. My partner bought them for me from a shop that sells bras for men. I could not describe the euphoria I felt seeing my gynecomastic chest in a bra that actually suited it. I simply stayed still for a while, not saying much of anything. There was a period of my life where my chest was simultaneously so heavily mocked and sexualized by others that I felt a desire to be rid of it; there was a time when I wanted surgery to flatten my chest. I since have come to find great pleasure in my chest, and I no longer desire that surgery.

I do desire genitals from which I can pee standing, and I would like the surgeon to use the hole I was born with just beneath the tip of my ambiguously-sized phallus to make it happen. This surgery is unique because it is intersex and it is mine. I struggled for a long time with the conflict between taking pride in my intersex anatomy and my need for gender-affirming bottom surgery, and finally I have realized that even with surgery my genitals will be intersex genitals, and that's the way it should be. And even after this surgery, my genitals will be feminine because they are mine, regardless of what they look like or what gendered language others may try to force on it.

Someday I hope to leave my dysphoria up on the same bookshelf I keep my uterus and ovaries on, keeping it in an overly decorated jar covered in bows and stickers. It will become something which was a part of me from birth that no longer is, yet I will still keep it with me in my home, welcome it and care for it. It is mine, but it cannot live inside of me forever.
