Feliks being afraid of vampires and werewolves is kinda funny bcs of two things:

Historically, Jogaila, the prince of Lithuania, was believed to be a werewolf, that's why Poles offered a bath to him to check his genitalia to see if he actually was a werewolf. As you suspect, he was not. So the "show me your dick and balls" in hetalia is accurate! But also, Liet is a werewolf anyway so.

Feliks has a boyfriend that he has to learn not to be afraid of because of his fear of wolves respectfully as well as forced fear by Vatican of werewolves.

Vatican also very much forced the fear of vampires, the undead before zombies.

And Feliks' best friend is Romania and his little brother Moldova. Both canonically vampires? And come on I never saw anybody that didn't headcannon them as vampires.

So yeah it's kinda funny if Feliks is afraid of both werewolves and vampires.

“Tingyun…” you eyeball the tapestry hanging behind her. The Exalting Sanctum is generous with its pleasant chill. No one bats an eye as you fiddle with your warm coat that almost functions as a discreet (you hope) hood.

The worry lingers either way. A secret is both a poison and a leverage, still.

“Ah! apologies,” Tingyun's words do not match her delighted clap. “My lady—Lady Benefactor has always had many things to say of the General. This Tingyun has been swept over by your admirable enthusiasm and became clumsy with her words! Please forgive her.”

Overheard in the Seat of Divine Foresight Gardens, an old story dictates: one may call the General’s name three times. If all is in the same breath of a praise, Lady (Name) will appear behind you, hold your hand, and talk with exuberance as she sits you down in Sleepless Earl. If all is in the same breath of a meaningless insult, she will appear with a metal coated fan to cool you down.

Which, in essence, is not untrue. And by extension, Tingyun's remark is not wrong either. But still.

“In any case,” you cough into your fist. It’s a shame that your palm is empty of the gilded hand fan Jing Yuan gifted you on your last anniversary. But business calls for sacrifices. You need your hands, preferably empty. Thus, the fan sits await in your shared abode for the span of your little excursion.

“Do you have the good stuff?”

“Certainly, Lady Benefactor,” Tingyun reciprocates your whisper, “I have the special edition goods reserved only for my VIP patron...”

Walking past the meager amount of food stalls in the Exalting Sanctum, you feel grateful for the tuskpir roll and puffergoat milk you’ve secured during your trip to Aurum Alley.

Yes, Aurum Alley. Why took the trouble to meet Tingyun first? Well. You’ve already left your love's gift away from your person. You can’t possibly leave anywhere without at least one piece of your husband, can’t you?

“Hehehehe.”

A child turns his head, and his mother beckons him away from the odd stranger. With a furrowed brow, she tears her gaze as you giggle and caress the holographic, embossed picture of Jing Yuan’s side profile; taken from one of his public appearances.

The smooth surface of the print glints in the light. Golden eyes. Silver mane. Walking past Synwood Pavilion, it’s not never that your trance grants you a scratch or bruise from hanging pots and stairs unnoticed. But this time, a kind enough stranger pulls you away from the harm.

“Thank you—ouu?!!”

The sky falls, your blood runs tepid.

Not only do the stranger keep their hold on your arm, they take the momentum to pull you close and rest a palm on the slope of your waist.

“I have not seen you since this morning, and now you try to dispose of me?”

The sharp edge of the photo card in your hand stops by a breadth of the stranger's jugular. Staring back at you are a pair of familiar eyes as golden as a spring evening.

“A-Yuan?”

“My lady,” Jing Yuan words flow easily with his small laugh. He finds no struggle in grasping the hand hovering on his neck, and before you find the tact to hide the picture you posed as an instinctual weapon, he presses a tender kiss to your wrist.

…Oh.

“A- A-Yuan.” You parrot, throat scraping dry against your voice. “I thought Master Diviner Fu and Qingzu are keeping you for the day.”

Jing Yuan’s hand is still warm against your lower back. He shakes his head. “This self is not so young anymore, and this old man needs a moment’s rest, simply.”

???! Old man my foot!!!

Your eyes dart. Hiding the embossed photo card—which discreet nature is now questionable—remains tantamount. But Jing Yuan is as cunning as he is powerful. By deliberation or spontaneous display, he envelops your figure before you choose a step; warm curls tickling your jaw as he rests his head on your shoulder.

“Baobei—Jing Yuan, we’re still in public!-“

“I miss my beloved.”

Your dearest has always had a penchant for words of affection. Yet, there is a sliver of genuine fatigue in his voice, this time. Not as potent as the nights when he sought your embrace to stave away regrets and guilt of the past, but you know the shape of his ails better than anyone.

And this, for a moment, melts everything else. Sounds and colors dissolve. The world becomes nothing but him. Inconsequential; all but him.

Your lips soothe into a soft smile. Running your fingers through his pale curls, he breathes into your collarbone.

“Did you run away from the paperworks?”

“No, not this time.” His laugh tickles your neck. A sound reminiscent of Mimi’s purr. A beat, he stands straight to stare at your face before a gentle hand caresses your cheek.

“Matters have settled down early in the Seat of Divine Foresight. I rushed home to see my beloved, but fortune seems to favor my side this day.”

“Yes—well...” your tongue is heavy. Years of matrimony and you are still unable to keep up with his affections. Fortune favors your side, in fact. For this lifetime and for the next, you pray.

“I’m glad that things have settled,” you fiddle with the photo still nestled in your right hand. “I was out for a small excursion and was about to pick you up. I bought some treats as well.”

“My wife spoils me so.” You always liked the way he smiles. “Although I’d prefer my lady not get hurt and distracted in the streets, much less if I am the cause."

“What?”

Jing Yuan glances sideways, so you numbly follow his gaze.

Jumping at the realization, raw adrenaline forcibly pulls your hand behind your back, hiding the glow of the holographic photo card—special edition! Tingyun said. Though, who can deceive the Luofu Arbiter General?

You stand helpless when Jing Yuan gently reclaims your hand, slowly raising it from the shadows of your back. He hums at the glinting photo when his image is revealed for shared observation, and, to your surprise, spares no word but merely presses his lips to your knuckles.

“Fortune favors me, truly, to have such a loving beloved like you."

You make a face. Embarrassment, humor, then it all sheds to eventual amusement. You want to shake this man like a chewtoy. Turn him upside down. Rattle him.

"Since when?"

"A while."

You orchestrate a pout, "Why only tell me now?"

Jing Yuan humors you with a twinkle in his eye. "Why settle for a moment captured in time when the real one stands present before you?”

You pause.

A blink. A couple. A cycrane flies over the sky. As it departs to the horizon, so does your incredulous, airy laugh.

You made up your mind to take a strategic step backwards, putting away the photo. “Why? Are you jealous?”

“Perhaps.”

“You say that as if I didn’t notice you commissioning paintings of my image too, General”

Jing Yuan’s smile is mirthful. “So I have been caught.”

You giggle, and with or without your notice, Jing Yuan sucks in a quiet breath. An unsaid promise; another oath sworn into the silence to keep that smile safe. To ease all the tears that linger on your lashes. To soothe all the curved frowns bending your lips.

From the day he was a mere boy running late for his former teacher’s training, stumbling upon a little lady who, even then, was already brimming with a penchant for trinkets and sweets alike, to the years witnessing both of your growth, the awkward young years, the losses you both braved alone and in hand, your courtship, the day when he tied the strings of fate and bound himself to you for that day and forevermore. Even today, he had loved you. He still does, and always will.

His reverie gave you way to tiptoe and leave a ghost of a kiss to your dearest’s brow. Mimicking his frequent strategy of making a move before the adversary registers, you take his hand and lead him away from the eaved shadows of the Synwood Pavilion.

“Let’s go home, A-Yuan.”

Jing Yuan’s hand fit too perfectly, engulfing yours.

A breathless chuckle mixes with the bustle of the Exalting Sanctum; his steps pulled along with your trots. Although poor in concealment, with a series of gasps and amused murmur echoing at your wake, you pull him along to sneak through street corners and pavilions as if you are both young again. And for that moment, everything is right.

im looking into snape gang, ive always been interested in them and never really sat down with them fully anything for beginners (omg it sounds like a lecture or smth) on mulciber or even group dynamics (fic recs welcome!!)

anyway point of this, is that mulciber dearest, commonly shipped with sev, does not have a first name? ive heard seth, aurum malvolio and wolfric all before,

so my questions are; which name is commonly used by fandom or which do you prefer and why?

Seth, no personal collection to it a i've heard its from a fanfic of a sort that i ofc have not read. seth x sev sounds funny and a bit of a tongue twsiter. also as a pureblood mass believer this man would be stacked with latin names

aurum, meaning glowing dawn. ive heard this used because of its connection to vulcan (or hephaestus) with fire and armory. i like it for a few reasons lore wise and then just name wise. as a name, the dawn is associated (at least to me) with new beginnings a new rise, a new dawn. i also hear that lion king speech in dream's voice about the sun and kingdom. so very ethereal and kingly befitting for him i'd say. the more convoluted lore section is something you're going to have to trust me on for a bit. aurum and auora are such twin names, so sinistra and him as twins! different last names of course, either due to marriage after hogwarts or more interestingly for me, seperated at birth. with the second narrative i'd say its a sonya (lizzy) and newt situation from the maze runner, lost and never found. however them interacting in the same group and displaying twin behaviour without them knowing is terribly tragic and dramatically ironic.

malvio, wont stay here long because far too close to marvolo for my liking HOWEVER its a shakespeare name and william my dearest namesake deserves all the respect in the history of ever. so. it means ill will, irony at its finest. bonus points if theres a benvolio (good will) in the hogwarts scene at current. these are also italian names and thus mulciber must be italian i wont accept it otherwise.

wolfric. honestly the one im leaning most towards, the most simple the most funny and the most ironic. all because of dearest remus lupin. severus calling his beloved his bestfriend the one that dramatically pines over him while sev believes hes unlovable being called "wolf" as a nickname and remus flinching every god forsaken time it happens is comedy (tragedy?) gold. after 5th year he started calling remus by "wolf" too and mulciber is absolutely betrayed by this fact and will not buy into the "lupin is a werewolf" conspiracy whatsoever, so just very fun stuff with the name wolfric!!

Do you know the deal behind Dark Almaz? He looks cool but I know nothing about him, All I know is that he was from Makai Wars and that's it...

Aaaaight!!! Long post incoming, I may misremember/misunderstand some things-

From what I could gather from my japanese understanding + machine translation, it starts with Almaz remembering the times where he was supposed to be strong/protecting Sapphire but instead ended up getting beaten up or ridiculed, and blames himself for being weak and "not enough". However he's suddenly interrupted by Mao taking his scarf away for some wacky experiments

and ends up looking like this (he looks naked without it oh my god XD)

He goes to Mao's lab to take it back but notices that his "scarf" has become dark purple, and says something like "Dark Purple? Perhaps it fits how weak I am.."

However, this scarf makes him act all like a typical honor student, specifically focusing on wanting to "become stronger". He skips one of champloo's classes because "sitting around wont help him become stronger", then proceeds to eat Stella's kimchee XD LIKE HE STRAIGHT UP TELLS HER "The weak have no right to complain" OH MY GOD.

After this he comes across two students fighting over an item (which i dont remember" and interrupts them, saying how he's gonna try and take it away from them, however, he's confronted by Salvatore and Big Star and he's thinking about having to use force if needed to take said item, but ends up chickening out last minute XD

Sapphire notices how weird he's been acting lately so she goes to find him, only to find him bullying an underleveled eryngi HAHAHAHA OH MY GOD- saying things like "Come on! Defend yourself! haha!" Sapphire confronts him saying something that's no way to show strength and that he's not weak, and he becomes offended. He goes on a ramble saying stuff like "More power more power more power more power- I will become stronger than everyone!" and woop- he's here

I am nosebleeding SO HARD- *HUFF HUFF DROOL*

Oh right I forget Asagi was here IM SORRY HSAHDH- thing is, Sapphire and Asagi retreat, thinking about why has Almaz turned like this and a way to solve it. Asagi mentions his power of a hero, which makes Sapphire get an idea on how to confront him!

They both head to Mao's lab, explaining the situation and Mao reveals that Almaz is acting all odd because of the scarf, aka "The scarf of Lament/Grief", which is fueled by Aurum's power- which explains his whole monologue of "becoming stronger", and his original scarf was there all along. Sapphire wears his scarf to obtain the power of a hero and finally confront him

i fw this outfit so hard

The evil academy folks (Beryl, Salvatore, Champloo, etc...) all gather together to cheer on Sapphire on bringing Almaz back, and Beryl teases Mao over him being embarrassed XD, he insists he wants to see the "Hero VS Hero" battle unfold to research it (Geez Mao always so stubborn....)

So they head to the old school building, where Sapphire confronts him in a Battle to make him come back, Darkmaz acts all cocky over how he's strong and whatnot...LIKE HE EVEN SAYS HOW HE WANTS TO TAKE OVER EVIL ACADEMY AND TURN IT INTO A SCHOOL OF HEROES AHHHH- i wanna punch him (positive)

Sapphire eventually tries speaking to him, saying how she never saw him as weak and says how its the scarf making him act all weird, Darkmaz seems to succumb to his heart resonating for a moment, backtracking right after, and that's where Mao tells Sapphire to cut/destroy the Scarf of Lament while he's distracted, she does so. Regular Almaz comes back, he doesn't remember a thing and Sapphire gives him his scarf back, he's then thankful for everyone for saving him. He also thanks Mao for helping, to which he replies with "oh i just didnt want him causing any trouble in the school" (Sapphire literally mentions how her armor is also fueled by Mao's feelings XDDD)

Mao then mentions how he wasn't saved by the scarf itself, but because of the feelings inbetween or something like that- I already got tired of trying to understand kanji...

He and Sapphire end up saying typical lovey dovey couple things to eachother but she then orders him to do a 100 push ups HAHAHAH can't blame her honestly-

But yeah that's about it! That's the story of Dark Almaz and Sapphire's heroic shenanigans -w-

I’m so sorry if you already answered this before but I tried looking for answers and couldn’t find much. So I’m at the point in the game where I’m just willing to spend any amount of money on Zayne because I love him so much. Anyway, what’s worth spending money on in the game other than the Aurum pass to level up cards and increase affinity? I hear of other people doing that but it’s kind of confusing because I don’t get how money increases stuff like that. I don’t really have a limit either so I’m willing to spend whatever.

I try to only spend as little as possible tbh so these opinions are coming from a little goldfish as opposed to a whale

Aside from the Aurum Pass, I sometimes grab the Aurum gifts when I get frustrated on an orbit stage and I'm trying to get a little bit of a boost

And on event banners where I want to pull, I'll usually grab the $0.49 packs x3 and the $0.99 packs x3. Along with the tickets, the growth resources you get aren't too bad either

It usually works out and I don't have to buy more packs, but when I was first starting out and didn't have the Aurum Pass, I had to dip into the $6.99 packs too

Basically, I just renew the Aurum Pass every month and grab the two cheapest event packs if I want to pull on that banner

There are also the top up diamonds that you can buy outfits for the guys with and gain affinity that way, but the only time I bought top up diamonds was when they were resetting the bonuses tbh. I'll probably buy some of these again when they reset it next time too but I don't make a habit of this at all

If you're focused on levelling, there are the growth and stamina packs. You can gain affinity by levelling your cards and clearing their orbits so I think this might be what you're looking for

I don't usually go for these though since I'd rather just wait for stamina. But if you're willing to spend, these are available for you

Just keep in mind that this is a gacha game, meaning it's a marathon meant to be part of your life, not a sprint to be won in a single sitting. Once you reach your end goal, they will move the goal post further ahead in the future so that players will continue to stick around and give them money

So just be mindful that you aren't falling into a mentality where you're losing sight of how much money you spend (I've been there). Because you know how greedy and predatory infold can get

Now it's time to explain the physics of this hhh

Aurum doesn't live inside the UTMV, but rather, exists as a creator for it, and lives in the fandom itself. That "fandom" location functions as a realm that allows for creativity from beings living in our world to brew and develop further to then take form in the UTMV itself, and is also where Creators can interact with eachother, no matter the distance.

Aurum cannot interact directly with the UTMV, but, due to being a Creator, is able to craft things and characters that live within it.

To do this, she requires a quill that it takes with itself wherever it goes. It functions as an outlet for her creative abilities.

I've also been thinking of the possibility of its soul being that quill, due to how tightly Aurum is connected to her creativity, but it might take me a bit to figure out the specifics for that.

In addition to creativity, Aurum is also able to spectate the works of other Creators, and of course, interact with said fellow Creators, but it can take her a bit to get out of it's shell.

Aurum tends to add quite an amount of detail to its work. While it has tried various artistic outlets, the one in which she excels the most is drawing, animation and writing, especially the earlier 2, as those are the hobbies it has been practicing since it has memory.

It also happens to be quite the extra-clever being. (extra clever earthbound spirit ghost in the form-)

It struggles with issues from a past fandom she used to mostly create for, and is trying to recover by 'pushing away shame', as it would word it. It also appears to have a particular dislike of what is known as cringe culture.

That scarf it wears? Just as the ref sheet says, it provides safety, but it also helps somewhat at covering up her neck scar that comes from a far older thing that happened. The scar may sometimes bleed when Aurum feels unsafe or as if it has 'slipped up creatively'.

Some bonus trivia:

Aurum's blood is gold! I made it like that because i myself have RH Null blood, which is also known as the....golden blood type.

It's design is inspired by the silver fox because I just recently found out it is one of my kintypes. And also because i have a tendency to represent myself online as a fox.

And the 'draconic' stuff? Dragon kintype, though that is covered by Io.

Speaking of, Aurum is the being that puppeteers Io.

Aurum is meant to be in the autistic spectrum, as i myself am autistic!

I got the name Aurum from "Au", which is the periodic table of elements's symbol for gold. And y'know.... AUs! Aurum is a Creator! Doesn't that tie together nicely?

Yes, the scarf that it's wearing is a recreation of Ink's scarf.

Aurum first started as an arctic fox but then started getting covered in ink over time from drawing and drawing and drawing a lot, so it's basically identical to an actual silver fox.

Aurum sometimes stands on 2 legs, usually when interacting with other Creators.

I believe that's all i can think of right now, now off i go to catch up with Inktobertale. I may also do asks for Aurum when i take breaks! (AND I JUST REMEMBERED I MADE A SIDE BLOG TO RP AS IO HHHHH I GOTTA GET IT READY)

Thoughts on the 2.4 HSR story quest

As anticipated, I'm yapping about the 2.4 continuance story quest. Spoilers ahead, so I'm putting a read more - hopefully it works like it should.

So, we're back on the Luofu huh. Can't say I'm exactly happy about that - everything about that region except the High-Cloud Quintet bored me to death, but this time around I think they did a better job with the characters (and the stakes, frankly. I found Phantyllia to be a yawn inducing antagonist).

This time, while I still found some parts to be still a little wonky pacing wise, I enjoyed myself more. Mostly due to Feixiao and them finally deciding to utilise Hanya and Xueyi more. These two had so much potential and I felt like they were terribly underused the first time around.

Yunli was a fun little character, very prideful and somewhat bratty just like Yanqing is, so it was no surprise they butted heads lol. Their arguing dragged on a taaaad much during the March 7th event, but during the story they were fine and they had a fun dynamic.

The story was alright. The IPC are back to being villanous, though this time after Aurum Alley I found them to be pretty pathetic (the main threats were their mechs and what the experiment with biological life + metal means for the universe *shivers*). The Borisin are basically being herded by Phantyllia who clearly finds some usefulness in Hoolay, so hopefully they interact and it makes me enjoy her just a little bit more.

The jailbreak part was absolutely the highlight of the story for me. Moze's right though, security in the Xianzhou Luofu is wack lmao. Like I can buy the borisin infiltration somewhat, but the invisible random mara-struck soldiers? xD The parts with Hanya and Xueyi were great. They really needed some extra screentime, the ghost event was not enough, and I feel like this quest showcased them a lot more as characters AND sold me on their relationship more.

My biggest disappointment in this quest was probably not showing Jingliu at all. Like, I get it, they are saving her for the continuation and all of that, but having no insight at all on her thoughts on the situation is frustrating. Jingliu is probably one of my favorite Luofu characters, if not my fave tied with Blade, and we've been teased with some action with her and Luocha since what, 1.3? 1.4? I really hoped to see at least a snippet of her, but nothing. Oh well, since Hoolay definitely wants revenge we'll probably see her somewhere along the line, hopefully sooner rather than later. I feel like the Luofu has burned too much good will among the fanbase to afford to dangle plot threads over our heads like that.

Overall, I enjoyed the quest, and it definitely suffered less from trying to stuff all characters inside of it than the first time around (or, at least, this time the characters actually came across as interesting) but I think the first part dragged a little bit. We'll see how they continue it; hopefully they don't drop the ball like they did the first time around, because the Luofu is already hanging on by a thread.

I’m sitting here imagining Aurum as an actual published book and suddenly I get hit with a few thoughts.

-What do you imagine your little “About the Author” blurb saying? I think it’d be funny/cool if you put “writing Sonadow fanfics” as a hobby or something. Like

ahahaha nah goofs aside, i havent really thought abt what i’d put in a bio— though i will admit i’m not at all eager to have this story be associated with its origins as a sonic fanfic fjsjfjs. I know it’s probably inevitable, rumor will get around. but i think like i’d be a little… idk, embarrassed? To have that association attached to my name as an author? 😅 I want my work to be professional and to be taken seriously.

As for cover art, I don’t have a concrete plan at the moment but I kinda think I’d commission someone else to do it! Like, sure, i could save money and do it myself, and it’s entirely possible i’ll end up doing that to keep my budget lower, but i do like the idea of giving someone else a basic overview of the story & maybe some basic composition ideas and letting them design something. It’s something i’ve got plenty of time to think about, haha ^^

trespASSer is my silly trespasser novelization with my elf rogue that i will probably never finish, but that i've been nursing slowly for the last two years. maybe the replay will get me to add more than three words at a time.

here is an excerpt in the meantime (minor spoilers ahoy, nothing plot relevant):

“Maker,” he breathes. He hears Cassandra enter behind him, Dorian and Bull shortly after. “I forgot how colorful the Crossroads are.” “...colors?” Cassandra steps up to his side and frowns, looking out over the area with a scrutinizing eye. “I only see dead branches.” “Ah. Dorian? Bull?” “Nope! Barren for me,” Dorian says.  Bull grunts his agreement. “Floating shit and blood stains? Sure. If that’s the color you’re talking about.” Part of Aurum bemoans they cannot see the beauty as he does. But aloud, he says, in as petulant a voice as he can manage, “Must be an elf thing. You wouldn’t understand.” “Alright, Inquisitor,” Cassandra says wearily. “Lead the way.”

and "what if we were married [etc]" is a continuation of ye olde norribeth post-cotbp marriage au, that involves enough scrunching of the plot that it feels too self-indulgent and nonsensical to fully flesh out — but i do like the way the dynamics change. it shifts the balance of trust in a way that's fun to rotate around, but i've yet to find a way to illustrate it to my satisfaction. alas.

The new recruits sleep on the floor of the gundeck before the Pearl takes a wave hard and displaces them. Lone undisturbed among them is James Norrington, who has pinned his torn coat in a makeshift sort of sling along the wall. Elizabeth walking the deck sees him by chance, and though he does his best to bear the situation with dignity, it lends itself to piteousness. For all his years at sea, James is junior on the Pearl, and it smarts to see him in such straits.  Elizabeth invites him to her cabin, so he will not have to sleep crammed up against the guns. He squints at her like she is joking. It is only when she bodily jerks him by the arm that he stirs into movement. He makes to set up a bedroll on the floor of the cabin when Elizabeth finally gestures to the single bunk, impatient. "Will you not lie down?" she grits out. He frowns, not understanding. Then, abruptly, “Oh God. You mean..." He lets out a single, mortified laugh. "It's like our wedding night all over again.”

hello, any healing tips for lower lvld dungeons? im kinda struggling since my whm has been boosted (a gift) and i find it hard without skills such as pi and rapture etc :( thank you!

Note that Whm really fleshes out in HW, so take your time to get used to all of those new abilities since they remain an integral part of Whm's kit even now.

The Basics

The core is basically the same as it is in ShB/EW: Keep Regen on your tank as much as needed, and use a Lily/Cure 2 when your tank is around 60-70% HP. Lilies always come before Cure 2 because they are MP free. DPS outside of this as you are comfortable.

You "wait" with Cure 2 because it has a hefty 1000 MP cost and you don't want to overheal. 75% HP is a generally good threshold to cast at because the tank will have lost enough HP by the time your cast goes off to get full value. Outside of this time, you should be using damage spells.

Give your tank a Regen before they start pulling. If your tank presses sprint, you need to sprint right behind them! Falling behind is a sure way to wipe because you'll probably panic and misuse your resources.

Holy spamming is important because it's effectively a 6 second stun in the beginning, and healer DPS significantly contributes to packs dying faster. (I use Swiftcast + Holy to get an immediate stun off :)) It may seem that healer DPS is insignificant, but I guarantee it is not so. Faster enemy deaths = less healing required

MP management

Use Lucid Dreaming around 7-8k MP and keep using it as soon as it's up again. Adjust this threshold as you get comfortable with your MP management. The later ARR dungeons have the most difficult MP management, but it gets a bit easier after that.

Healing DPS Members during mob pulls

I don't usually think it's worth it to heal DPS teammates unless they look like they're going to die. Remember that Melee/Ranged Physical DPS can heal themselves too (RIP Magic DPS). I say this because it's a lot more important to save your resources for the tank. I only heal a DPS if they're dropping dangerously low.

This also applies to yourself, the healer! I don't heal myself during packs because I trust myself not to die. If you think you'll die, then heal yourself ASAP.

In bosses, heal whoever needs it. Your resources are a lot freer.

ARR (1-50)

Cure 1&2, Regen, and Medica 1 are your bread and butter, and you just press them as needed. Drop Cure 1 once you have Cure 2. Let this be the time where you practice DPSing when healing is not necessary. Build your comfort with it over time.

Skipping to the real nasty stuff:

Stone Vigil, Dzemael, and Aurum can get rough when your tank is pulling big, so you may often have to spam Cure 2. Do not refresh Regen until their HP stops yo-yo'ing up and down. ARR tanks can die fast, so keep Cure 2 spamming until their HP feels stable enough to use Regen. Reminder to have Lucid going to keep up with the hefty MP demand.

Aurum is very painful since we don't have Medica 2. In its absence, be preemptive on Bosses 1 and 3 with your Medica 1. The debuff stacks will start to hurt a lot, so keep people topped off as often as possible. Wane off your DPS a bit if your MP is struggling to keep up here.

Cure 3 is niche use because it has a very limited range. I've never needed it in a dungeon. Medica 1 and 2 are much easier-to-use options.

[Extra info: The post-ARR 50s dungeons are mechanically creative, and since they're so rare, people seldom remember the mechanics and just brute force it instead. That said, brute forcing mechs means healers pick up the slack with extra heal spamming. Don't let the randomly massive damage scare you, just do your best!]

HW (51-60)

Don't worry if MP management felt rough in ARR because it gets easier in HW! Every new ability is MP free and some are actively beneficial to it.

Lilies now come before Cure 2 on priority list. The use criteria is the same as always.

Medica 2 is now your go-to AoE heal. You most likely only need it once, so don't spam it or your MP will suffer. If you know you need more AoE heals, use Medica 2 and then Medica 1. Refreshing Medica 2 too early is wasteful to your MP.

Benediction is great for emergencies, but you might like it better as a planned heal! Letting your tank drop low while you Holy spam will help conserve your other heals and give you a few seconds of free DPS.

Place Asylum as soon as your tank stops running. Its total value value equals a single Lily/Cure 2, plus it gives a 10% buff to all healing. This 24s buff should last you through the beginning of the pull, which is the most dangerous (most mobs alive).

Use Assize when your tank is done running to maximize its DPS and also heal some of the mob-pulling damage. Asylum/Regen will do the rest while mobs are Holy stunned.

Thin Air is primarily used on MP-heavy spells like Medica 2, Cure 2, and Raise. All are great options, but you absolutely want to use it on Raise. (You can also randomly use it on Stone, since it's often just sitting there capped. An MP gain is an MP gain.)

Tetragrammaton comes late but is a fantastic addition. This will take priority over Lily/Cure 2. Tetra is my usually my very first go-to heal. In HW, it's almost a 50% HP heal.

As for dungeon specifics:

The Vault Boss 3 is a pretty tricky one for people, so don't feel bad if you aren't DPSing as hard so you can focus on not dying to mechanics. The final phase can be a bit overwhelming, so focus on mechanics and healing until you get the hang of it.

StB (61-70)

[It's basically HW healing, so get comfortable with those abilities. I skipped PI since you mentioned it already]

Your one new ability is Divine Benison. I use it all the time since it has such a short cooldown. You can use it on the pre-pull and then whenever you want basically. It's very open-ended use.

Jumping straight to dungeon specifics:

Shisui: Watch out for the long hallway between Boss 1 and 2. Tanks can pull the whole thing, so have a heavy-duty heal plan ready.

Bardam's: This whole dungeon is a healing trip, so you may be Cure 2 spamming more than usual. The first section is the most infamous, but I'd stay on my toes throughout the whole thing.

Doma: The section before the first boss can catch you off-guard because the tall robot with the sword can actually cleave the whole group. Yes, this is more on the tank to face it away, but you can make up for their lack of preparedness with your own! Make sure you stay behind that giant robot. This is also where Melee DPS tend to die, so watch them too.

The Burn: Damage comes very fast in Boss 3, so do not let it catch you off-guard. This is an infamously difficult boss for a reason. That ice puddle that does damage-over-time hurts a lot (even on tanks) so watch out. This boss also has a mid-damage raidwide.

Dungeon Bosses

In ARR-StB, non-tanks will typically only take damage for a failed mechanic. You will basically bounce between Medica 2 for party damage and Tetra/Lily/Cure 2 for single-target healing. You may also opt to use Regen.

Bosses will occasionally throw out unavoidable partywide (raidwide) damage, which can almost always be healed with a single Medica 2. (Remember you also have Asylum and Assize as options, though I prefer to use Assize for DPS. Asylum will buff your Medica 2 if you need heavy healing.)

Practice your DPS here, because you're going to have a lot of downtime between heals. I also urge you to get used to reading the boss's cast bar. This is a vital skill for everyone but healers especially. Pay attention and you will start to memorize patterns. Soon, nothing will catch you off guard. (For example, I have never forgotten The Vault's raidwide is called "Altar Pyre." I always have Medica 2 ready to go for that :))

Conclusion

A typical pull in StB will look like this:

Pre-pull regen + Benison -> (run with tank) -> Asylum/Assize -> Holy x 3 -> Tetra -> Regen refresh if needed -> Holy spam -> Lily/Cure 2 as needed -> Holy spam

If all else fails, spam Lilies and Cure 2. This will get you through mostly anything, with only your MP as the limit. Remember that Thin Air can save you up to 2000 MP through this. Hopefully you can stall for enough time to kill the pack or for another heal like Tetra to come back up.

If you wipe, don't let it shake you! Everyone has wiped, and I myself have caused wipes many many times. You can only get better, so please keep trying.

I’m planning on writing a sci fi/fantasy book and I’m struggling >.< I think I’m good with world building (if you have any tips pls advise) but I’m struggling with like the government? Idk if that sounds stupid 😭 but how does the government really work in moc. I haven’t gotten very far since I just recently started reading it (I’m in loveeee love love) so I haven’t really grasped it yet. I’m not sure if I should have one authoritative figure rule one system, or one planet. Blah blah.

Last question, love I’m so sorry, how did you come up with the idea? It’s so unique and amazing I just sjshjdajsj. I’m struggling with the plot of my story but it’s getting there. Like, I love blaming characters and their back story but then they’re literally just standing there with no world and plot other than their little back stories😭

hi!! no worries i love answering questions like these (¬‿¬) sci fi fantasy stories are incredibly hard to write i don't blame you i envy the people who are able to do it easily!! the government is esp hard for me since the story deals with multiple solar systems and spreads across several different planets like there's no much to deal with and that's one of the hard things about writing governments in sci fi plots 😭 i have a fairly solid idea of what the aurum military system looks like and i use this diagram to help me keep track tbh but everyone will like different kinds of things for their stories so don't let me be the end all be all of what you want for your story!!

so i've got three kings who jointly rule the solar system that is aurum, and for other systems i don't really delve into what the governments look like beyond there being a military/guard presence on the planets. it's kinda a tell as needed basic for me where i don't go thru the trouble of nitpicking every tiny detail and focus more on fleshing on what i know will be important to the plot and the story! and you can always make things up as you go, there's no hard and fast rules against that sort of thing either!

i always feel terrible saying it but honestly i had the idea of space pirate ateez. and then from there the story just kinda blossomed itself. i sat down with the test document where i keep all the character stuff and plot stuff and just kinda let it all come as it did. i did focus on fleshing out the characters first, that was the very first thing i did -- i put down the characters and i went thru creating their backstories and their personalities and their motives and from there the story kinda just took shape and worked its way out from those bare bones i started with

my biggest piece of advice would probably be to not be too harsh or strict with yourself and your writing. the first draft will always be the first draft so it doesn't have to be flawless and perfect on the first go, and even if its imperfect on the second go of things that's okay too. let yourself have fun with it, and if you find that it's stressing you more than making you happy then adjust and find a way to change things so that you become happy with it again!! good luck my friend i'm wishing you the best with it （づ￣3￣）づ╭❤～

They rebelled against their intended noble purpose and are in many ways like the Aurum from Kid Icarus Uprising; beckoned by destructive and corrupted influences, they take orders from and return to like minded individuals. There wasn’t a single Kwami that willingly went bad until Taaka and Ulloo’s miraculouses were created; the few people who know them call them the darkness to the mother box’s light.
