The Lamb blows a raspberry. “It wasn’t gruesome, it was just…slow. And painful.” Ah. No, wait. They bring it up now because it happened here. “I remember.” Black eyes dart to him. “You do? “Of course I do. You came to my domain soaked. You stunk of wet wool.” They had been covered in algae. A lily pad stem was still wrapped around their foot before it rotted away in the Land of the Dead. They coughed up not black sludge or blood, but murky water until their lungs expelled it all. There was no wound for him to heal. No alleviating of the pain he could provide until the process passed. He could simply just stare as the lamb shivered before him.

April has finally poked her head into the story! And she is miffed! She can't believe these boys got themselves hurt the one time she wasn't around. But when she went to check on them, Donnie appeared to be missing!

Speaking of Donnie, (being as stubborn as he is) set out to find something to help Leo. And what luck! He found pieces of a wheelchair tossed out to be trashed. Now all he has to do is fix the wheelchair and everything will be much better! Just gotta get home first. ... Home. It felt so far away. Donnie's not sure how far he traveled in the sewers, and he wasn't fully recovered from his illness, leaving him weak and alone in the deep dark of the sewer tunnels.
