if 1k followers makes you Tumblr famous then I have a blog that is Tumblr famous, which I disagree with, because not once in my life have I felt Tumblr famous. nor do I want to be.
yeahh I too disagree with it, because that’d be a bit startling to many people if it was the case
I legitimately want to know of what blog has the most followers, to have like a baseline? but alas we shall never know, and must speculate on things like if 1k followers makes you tumblr famous lol

Do you ship it? ((C*nt of the month edition) trying not to get banned)
Hi Matt! Since I know comedians these days love googling themselves and finding things about them that piss them off so they can whinge on stage about it, I have something to show you. Here's a list of people in history with disabilities who made more of an impact on the world than you could possibly imagine;
1: Michael Bisping, professional MMA fighter, had multiple fights at the highest level on the trot with an impressive win ratio with a missing eye, unbeknownst to anyone but him (would love to see you make fun of him)
2: Albert Einstein, most famed and celebrated professor of the 20th century, was on the autistic spectrum. Gave more to the world in a year than you did in your life.
3: Tim Burton, among the most famous directors, producers and animators in history, revolutionizing goth culture in his long career, is also autistic. He put in far more work than standing on stage and being a dick.
4: Stephen Hawking. Even an idiot like you knows this one. I'll leave it at that.
5: Hellen Keller, was literally deaf and blind for most of her life and was still a famous author. So whats your excuse for writing such shit, tasteless jokes?
6: Zack Gottsagen, an actor with down syndrome, became the first actor with down syndrome to present an Oscar.
7: Stevie Wonder. I imagine even he could see how utterly insufferable modern comedians are.
Nooooow then, lemme guess, "yOu'Re jUsT a PiSsEd oFf TrAnS pErSoN gEtTiNg OFfEnDeD" lemme tell everyone something about myself.
I'm not trans.
I'm straight.
I have no physical disabilities whatsoever.
I actually don't get along with a lot of lgbt people because they're, guess what, PEOPLE, very few of whom I get along with anyway. Its never once been to do with their identities or rights, but purely because, as is the case with every demographic, most of the ones I've met are pricks.
"BuT ThEy GEt OFfEnDeD-" yes, when you deliberately scroll twitter looking for offended lgbt people, you tend to stumble across them. Wouldn't ya know it?
Anyways. Comedy is dog shit. Getting up on stage and deliberately being edgy because you've lived no sort of life away from people who you know you'll offend is not talent. Its something a 14 year old with an inferiority complex would do. Thanks for being another nail in the coffin of actual, watchable comedy.
Oh yeah, and if you want an example on how to actually joke about domestic violence, cross-reference the name "Wilbur" on my blog. See, its funny when you're making fun of the abuser and the fact that they do these things, but not when you mock a victim and make fun of them for having these things happen to them. Never once do I mention his victims, its purely making fun of him and the sheer absurdity of his behavior in the scope of who he is. And we're on Tumblr, literally the symbol of people getting offended, and never once have I gotten backlash for those jokes, so you, as a man with a Netflix special, have no excuse for such lacking creativity.
One last thing, for my readers... anyone wanna bet some petty cash that a woman or three from his past are gonna come out with a few tasty bits of drama about ol' Matty boy, if you know what I mean?

I understand it's not even the fifth-most important point in your post, but I really think that going forward, making sure all creators (at least those of Gaiman's calibre) have as little direct access to fans as possible should be industry standard. We've all heard the horror stories about Vic whatshisface at cons and whatnot, but even the folks who aren't certified creeps detract more than they add to the fan experience (witness the five-alarm Drama that breaks out whenever creators make the tiniest ship-adjacent commentary in interviews).
Couldn't agree more. The Neil Gaiman allegations are not a new phenomenon by any means; we know from countless prior exposures that predators use fame and fortune to ensnare victims, especially those that have been predisposed from maybe even an early age to revere and idolize them. And like you say, even if someone in such a position of power/influence has no ulterior, sinister motives for reveling directly in their fan base, there are so many other things that can go awry from crossing those boundaries. (Gaiman himself warned of the legal complications that could arise from people sending him fanfic directly- you'd think that'd be reason enough for him to, yknow, not be constantly on tumblr interacting with the fanbase and tags, but ofc we know why now)
I think there's something to be said about the quick rise of the internet/social media and the consequences of that in fandom spaces, that we're kind of having to catch up and learn from difficult experience how best to set those boundaries between fandom and creators. It's easy to think we should have known better already, but Gaiman had been carefully crafting his persona for decades at that point and always seeming like one of the 'good ones' as so many others were exposed throughout the years. I think in fact that probably strengthened the parasocial bonds as people clung even harder to him as the precious exception to the rule.
And yet, still I'm somewhat left at a loss of what the hard and fast rules should be, and if they should be the same across the board or if there's any room for nuance. I know that crafting a social media presence, even a persona can be important for accruing a marketed interest (and just unavoidable in the world we live in now, for people in related careers) and I don't think creators/famous people showing appreciation and recognition of their fanbases has to be an inherently bad thing. I know that people enjoy having Q&A panels with creators and interviews asking divisive questions about pairings/plot decisions etc in a show has been a thing since TV digest- but of course, getting in a friendly debate with your IRL friend over whether the last interview from the head writer of Friends meant Ross would end up with Rachel or not is very different from online discourse with thousands of angry, opinionated strangers, and maybe that needs to be taken into consideration in future- that is, if the creators in question actually care about their fans and aren't stirring the pot on purpose, which could also be the case. Anyway.
What's also true and I think should be taken into consideration going forward is that people of Neil's wealth and level of fame don't really need to be constantly interacting with fans on social media. I feel the smarter, safer route there for everyone involved is to have an assistant or PR person to handle social media accounts and in Gaiman's case specifically I feel that this is the least his team could do in the way of restorative justice/keeping his fans safe. This time, he really shouldn't have any public social media he runs himself. I'm literally imploring his lawyers, people, whomever has the ability if you happen to be reading this, to just cut him the fuck off from now on. I don't think that's asking too much of anyone involved. (They have for the time being ofc, but I'm calling for a lifetime ban). As that relates to other famous people, I would say we need to just bear it in mind. A little healthy suspicion for someone famous that's just trying to 'hang out with the gang' on a routine, intimate basis because, like, why? To what end, exactly?
And maybe we need to also have some discussions about predator behaviors from celebrities/creators during in-person meetups, how to recognize them and what to do on an individual and fandom-wide level if it happens. Like, I don't personally think it's appropriate or advisable for a famous person to proposition a fan (regardless of age or gender identity) romantically/sexually at their first meeting with this person at a fan meetup (it's a fan meetup not speed dating), I don't think they should be giving fans their number or contact info (even if it's purely intended, it's not appropriate or safe for either party). I don't think creators/famous people should be commenting on their fans' appearances at these meetups even if it's 'positive' ('wow you're so beautiful'- though there's nuance here, like if someone's wearing a cosplay and it's only about that etc, it can be nebulous but I think yall know what I'm talking about). I think all of those things should be regarded by fans as possible red flags and I think creators should have enough of a sense of responsibility over the power dynamic to know better than to cross those boundaries. I also think fans should feel safe and supported when coming forward with stories of behavior like this and I think we have to always be prepared to learn and 'accept' things we wish weren't true about famous people we like but don't know (accept as in accept as true and then get to work on what restorative justice can be realistically achieved for the victims).
But yeah, I'm interested in knowing what others think about this. Has this revelation made you view the famous people you like differently? Do you think there are better, further methods that should be taken to put boundaries between creators and fans? What can we as fandom communities do better to keep each other safe going forward? I'd love if it we could discuss these issues further.

Long Time Coming - Prolouge
Summary: Being hired as the first female assistant coach in the league was a challenge in of itself. Being a football protigy and University Football Legend was easy enough. Coaching Jamie Tartt was a challenge all on its own.
Word Count: 1090
Warnings: Enemies to lovers, no knowledge of how football works? First person. Minimal y/n use. Based on an OC fic I'm currently posting on AO3 so
A/N: Am I joining tumblr again to write Jamie Tartt fanfiction? Now that's an interesing question. Hope you enjoy.
I didn’t know quite what to expect when I started at Richmond. I was coming on as the first female assistant coach in the league. Something of a prodigy myself, I graduated from university early after leading our women’s football team to the championship three times. I worked as a kitman (or kit woman) for some teams in the Championship league until I saw the opening at Richmond and decided to throw my hat in the ring. Never in a million years did I actually think I would get an interview, much less a job offer.
But somehow, I ended up walking up the stairs to Rebecca Welton’s office, bright and early for my first day. I stood outside the closed door and too a breath, centering myself, before reaching for the handle. To my surprise, the door opened before I could touch it. The door opened to reveal Ted Lasso, the head manager of Richmond.
“Oh! Hello there!” He greeted with an inviting smile.
“Oh, my goodness, I’m sorry, I’m here to see- “
“Rebecca Welton,” the woman emerged from behind Ted, bearing her own polite smile. “And you must be (Y/N), our new Assistant Coach.”
I gave her my own polite smile and reached out to shake her hand. “That’s me. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Welton.”
“Well! What a surprise, it’s great to meet my new partner in crime, I’m Ted Lasso, nice to meet you.” He took my outstretched hand in a firm handshake.
I had read up on Ted Lasso. The American Football coach who was flying in all the way from Kansas to teach football in the Premiere League. Yet somehow, all that research could not have prepared me for what I was meeting.
“Coach Lasso! Yes, it’s great to meet you. I look forward to working with you.” I maintained my level of professionalism, but he waved me off.
“Please, call me Ted. My father was Coach Lasso,” he told me.
“Was he really?” I asked, surprised.
“No, but that would have been a great coincidence if he was,” he joked, with a smile.
I stared at him, not quite sure how to respond.
“We were just heading on a tour,” Rebecca broke the silence, “would you like to join us?”
And that was how I ended up on a tour of the facility with Ted and Rebecca. She took us through the halls of history of the club, passing the faces of the team. Including, one, Jamie Tartt. Jamie Tartt was all the football industry could talk about of late. The young star who couldn’t seem to miss, and who stole the hearts of all those who watched him. Yeah, he was fit. And as much as I tried not to, I couldn’t help but let him steal mine as well.
I wanted to hate him. I really did. He was everything I was. Young, talented, eager. But because he was a man, he was able to get fame and fortune because of it. That kind of thing just didn’t happen for women. The women’s league didn’t get nearly the same notoriety as the men’s did and even if I scored twice as many goals as Jamie Tartt, I would never leave the same legacy he did.
So yeah, I wanted to hate him just because he was famous. But I couldn’t. Something about his stupid cocky smirk, and the way he seemed to understand the balls every move before he could even touch the ball. It was impressive. Of course, it didn’t go unnoticed to me that he was dating Keely Jones. A gorgeous model, just like all the other women he’d been seen with. He wouldn’t look twice at me. You were staring at his face for so long you didn’t realize that Ted and Rebecca were staring at you, expectantly.
“Oh, sorry, what?”
Ted’s eyes danced quickly between Jamie’s photo and you. But if he suspected anything, he didn’t dare to comment as he brought you back into the conversation.
“Do you believe in ghosts?”
The rest of the day went by rather quickly. After the tour, Rebecca led you and Ted to a disastrous press conference that ended early, much to my own gratitude. I wasn’t sure I was ready to talk to press yet. I wasn’t ready to be a poster woman for my gender across the league. I just wanted to coach football. But luckily, after the press conference we were allowed to go watch practice.
That was what I was excited for. To watch the lads, play football. I had watched football for as long as I could remember. I grew up in Richmond. My family could never afford to go to games, but we watched every single match, good or bad. Now here I was, going to coach the team that I grew up loving. It was almost unreal.
“So! Where are you from?” Ted asked as we made our way to the pitch.
“I actually grew up here,” I told him with a smile. “I’ve been a greyhound’s fan since I was a girl. My dad loved the game.”
“Well, I’ll be!” Ted exclaimed. “He must be mighty proud of you then.”
“Yeah, he was!” I responded, my smile fading slightly.
We made it onto the pitch just as the boys were scrimmaging. My eyes were immediately drawn to the legendary, Roy Kent. He was a legend for sure, and the way he commanded the field certainly lived up to said legend. But eventually my eyes landed on Jamie Tartt just as he was doing a trick shot to hit the ball off the top of the goal. God, he was amazing.
As Ted and Coach Beard headed back inside, I decided to greet the boys as they came back inside. As Jamie approached, I stepped forward, wanting to introduce myself. He was good, very good, but I knew that he could be even better. With a bit of teamwork, I was certain that he could become the best in the league.
“Hi, Jamie. I’m (Y/N) and I just wanted to say that-"
He brushed right past me, shoving his water bottle into my hands.
“Thanks,” he dismissed, not even turning around.
I stood there, water bottle in my hands, mouth agape. Maybe hating him would be easier than I thought.

for better and for worse, i do think taylor has pretty solidly insulated herself from the "outside world" in a lot of ways. for better bc, at that level of fame, like unfortunately people are Fucking Crazy on such a large scale, that you either insulate or lose your mind. for worse, bc i think famous people at that level all ultimately are extremely disconnected and often tend to grow super out of touch. and i think her departure from tumblr was also sorta that wall being solidly closed, no matter what you think the reasoning was. just kinda interesting to think about, must be such a weird way to live tbh

Meghan and her eternal celebrity worship by u/Hermes_Blanket
Meghan and her eternal celebrity worship I find it so interesting that the way MM chooses to start her marketing campaign for "her" jam is by drip-dripping celebrity friends receiving it and saying how much they love it. When the general public can't buy it yet. As if to say: "Look, only the rich and famous get to have my strawberry jam; bet you can't wait to get your hands on it, but you can't yet, ha ha!"It makes complete sense. Meghan grew up in Hollywood, where celebrities are the next thing to God. Or, to some people, virtually gods and goddesses themselves. She may have gone to Catholic school, but in her father's workplace after school -- the set of "Married With Children" -- she learned formative lessons about the power of fame and celebrity. And she wanted it for herself. Oh, how she wanted it.When she married into the BRF, she saw this purely as an entree into the highest level of celebrity. The other side of the BRF, that of duty and tradition, was completely foreign to her. Confident in her belief that now she was solidly the equal of the most famous actors and actresses in Hollywood, she invited her favorites to her wedding. She assumed OF COURSE they were now her dear friends, because she was just as famous as they were! How disappointing it must have been to discover they didn't see it the same way.And how boring to have to do things other than pose and merch, which was all she expected to have to do as a first-tier celebrity. And to live in a "cottage" like a plebian! After ditching the BRF for California, she continued to attempt to use her new status to cozy up to as any showbiz celebrities she could find. To show she was one of them. She snagged a few -- Ellen, Serena, Melissa, Tyler Perry, and poor Gloria Steinem -- but these photo ops seemed more like publicity thirst than real friendships. The others avoided her like the plague and continue to avoid her like the plague. So now that she has to come up with a way to make money, she still beats the eternal drum of "Look at all the famous friends I have!" rather than "The quality of this jam speaks for itself." In her head, it's still essential that everyone know she's part of the celebrity world.Problem is, NO ONE CARES about whether she has famous friends or whether they like "her" jam. She herself is already NOTORIOUS for all eternity. post link: https://ift.tt/U6EoxRM author: Hermes_Blanket submitted: April 21, 2024 at 11:08PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. why do you reckon mapi and ingrid may be being more private with their lives? im not tryna be a freak or anything like that, im just curious if something happened for them to do that? or is it just a suspicion you have? again, not tryna come across as weird, i just wish the best for them and totally understand why they wanna be more private considering the eyes on them and especially more if something happened x
Okay so we did end up getting a birthday post (I’ve never been more thrilled to be wrong about something!), but I definitely have seen some discourse about Mapi and Ingrid becoming a little bit more private on social media. Not a whole ton, obviously they still post each other quite a bit (I haven’t really noticed a difference to be honest), but I have seen some people discussing it for some reason.
I think it feeds into a bigger discourse of footballers and the line between their private versus public lives, and where fans fit into that.
Mapi and Ingrid both have been very open in the past, but they are both getting more famous. And with more fame, comes more online abuse and just overall more dialogue about their lives and choices. Perhaps they just want to live their lives as they please, without having to appease or perform on social media, or be subjected to any sort of abuse/homophobia/whatever it is. Everyone has their limits.
I think it’s important for people to remember that these are real people, with real lives, and we cannot grow so attached to people or the idea of a person in our mind that we aren’t still respectful of their boundaries. I probably sound like a huge hypocrite saying this, but as much as I enjoy writing about these women, I don’t find myself in any sort of like para-social relationships with them, and I caution anyone against growing so invested. When I write about them, I’m not attempting to write about real people, but more along the lines of a character that is based off of that person (utilizing the fact that my audience already understands the characters and often the setting, and I don’t have to do that myself). Thats one of the reasons that fanfiction can be so enjoyable for people to write and read, is this idea that it’s easier to understand because both the author and audience already have an idea of the world/people/setting, and the author doesn’t have to spend the time and word count setting that up. It’s not that writing about these people is us trying to invade their lives or change history, but rather utilize our own creativity to think of our own stories. No writer, including myself, should ever claim in this sphere of writing to be writing the truth, because we don’t know these people!
I know there has been a lot of discussion on invasions of privacy, and I might get some push back on this but I figured I would state my own thoughts. People are more than allowed to disagree, I think there’s room for healthy discussion without being cruel toward one another:
I don’t see that big of a problem with writing about or discussing football and footballers on platforms like Tumblr and ao3, where the chances for these people to actually view what is being discussed is very, very low. In my mind, players would at that point be seeking out that information, and that is their choice and within their boundaries to do or not do, as they see fit. People are naturally curious, they have questions and want to connect with others about things they enjoy, and I see platforms like Tumblr and ao3 as a way to do so. People can learn, discuss, debate, etc with the freedom that these players are not on the platform, and will therefore not see what they are saying. I think it’s healthier that way, for all involved, to have a level of disconnect. I do think there are still lines to be drawn on these apps, I’m not saying it’s a free for all, but I tend to be more forgiving of potential mistakes or more risqué posts because I doubt that these people will ever see them.
I personally see a much larger problem being had on platforms like Instagram and Twitter and TikTok, with heavy amounts of abuse and overly harsh criticism about honestly all aspects of their lives. There is a difference between discussion and constructive criticism and bashing someone, or being abusive. Players see these things, we clearly know this, they are people too with feelings and bad days and people need to respect that and have some empathy. I find fault with Tumblr posts when someone on twitter/instagram/tiktok pulls a post and put it on one of those platforms. Why people would do that and open players up to seeing these things is beyond me, and feels disrespectful to all parties involved honestly.
I also see a lot of issues on those apps with invasion of privacy. My take on the issue has always been if a player has posted something, that is public knowledge that is allowed to be consumed, because they have made the choice to post and share that with the world. There’s a difference between scrolling back a few years to find a funny picture of a player when she was younger on her instagram page and ending up on her aunts friends Facebook page, digging up pictures from 2012 to use in some facet. Or taking something that someone has since deleted, or somehow getting a photo from a private account that might be a personal photo. There’s a line, and sure, it might fluctuate a little depending on the person because we all were raised differently and have different boundaries, but I still believe there is still a universal level of respect that can be upheld. We are not entitled to anything, the fact that we get to engage with these women and learn about their lives is a PRIVILEGE, and not a RIGHT. I think people often forget this.
Anyways, this got very long and waxy, which I apologize for. I’m sure I’ll get some pushback for this, because everyone feels a little differently on the subject, but this is simply where I stand. People are welcome to disagree and discuss as long as it is done so respectfully!

from one person who is Not Normal About These Old Men to another:
how come it's always men? at least on tumblr? like i see plenty of people thirsting over women or saying they like women but i don't see any of them going as absolutely batshit insane as we get about men.
is this just internalized misogyny? is it just because many of us are straight women? what's going on? i have a personal interest in this because i would love to be one of the famous people tumblr gets obsessed with, but i sort of wonder if (provided i even achieve that level of fame, of course) anyone will ever care about my art the way they care about the art of men.
(the exception to this rule is Taylor Swift. and i don't know why.)
anyways i know you probably can't explain this perceived sociological phenomenon any better than i can but i like hearing what you have to say about stuff
It honestly is just misogyny but it’s not our fault (for the most part!). I’m not saying fandoms aren’t sexist (I’m out here saying every day that they are lol) or don’t treat female characters unfairly. but I for one don’t have these issues and would love to be blogging about a slow burn gay subtext show with two women as leads. But there are just fewer shows where the central relationship is about two women.
Jessica Jones for me was the same level of crazy as any show with two guys. orphan black too. If they just give us media that scratches this part of the brain but with more diverse leads I will be eternally grateful. We are getting there, and honestly when it comes to movies and shows with one female lead, we’re so far ahead but a slow burn homoerotic will they won’t they with two women? I blame the industry because I’m ready to hype it and I honestly think that audiences at large have proven that they can enjoy women-led things.

I get what people mean when they talk about how taylor's level of fame atm is very hard to comprehend and all the discussions of "over exposure" but tbh it doesn't feel that different than other times to ME...especially bc she rarely does interviews or photoshoots anymore (as opposed to like the 1989 or even lover era). idk like taylor has been one of the most famous musicians in the world for a longgggggg time and I think her being on tumblr helped some fans feeling closer but I just never was like that personally so??? idk where I'm going with this 😭😭😭

what’s the most unhinged things that’s happened in your dr?
Shifting content 😻
Well, I haven't shifted yet (tho I'm definitely going to) because the only attempt I do at it is go to sleep and hope to wake up in my dr lmao. Which can work btw, but you gotta set the intention to and I don't even do that.
But I'm still gonna take the opportunity to talk about my drs (they're so good even if they're Wattpad coded, I promise 😭) because I love them and I need to get out of this shitty reality as soon as I can.
My main reality (not the one I'm shifting tho rn) is a tvd one, where I'll permashift and I'm basically the daughter of Hecate in that dr aka the reason to make myself as overpowered as possible (yes I made myself more powerful than Hope deal with it, I'm literally a goddess in that reality). Given that is the dr where I'll stay forever, it's the last one I'll shift to. But my s/o is Klaus and I'm having his tribrid child because no child of mine is being born on this rat hole and I literally love Hope. But it's so cool, I created a new family so I don't have to be part of the main families of tvdu and I basically script those siblings in almost every reality.
Btw, if someone shifts to tvd as well, please script Damon doesn't rape Caroline/Andy and that Katherine doesn't rape Stefan either. And script out the racist shit the Mikaelson are always pulling on Marcel as well as Klaus (and any other Mikaelson tbh) treating Marcel like he's family and not making any blood distinction between him and Hope.
My fame dr is practically those siblings I mentioned earlier and characters of the tvdu in a human au. I'm dating Klaus as well in this reality, and I'm basically the most successful actress and singer of the century (I need my main moment leave me alone). Klaus is a successful painter, at the level of Picasso, van Gogh, Dalí, da Vinci etc. Rebekah is the most famous models of Victoria's Secret, Elijah is one of the best lawyers, Kol is a professional magician and Finn and Freya manage a luxurious company. In other ways, they're famous Kardashian level, as well as my family.
Their parents, Dahlia and Henrik are still dead though lmao. Rip
And I scripted out Julie Pl*c, JK R*wling and Rick Riordan as well. And I basically attributed Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and a lot more to a poc woman named Elia Lennox. I changed everything about hp and pjo btw, they're not problematic books in my dr at all and I added a lot of representation, diversity as well as subplots.
And I asked an ai a way to eat meat that doesn't come from animal abuse and scripted it into my dr. Short explanation: scientists grow meat in a controlled environment using animal cells, without the need to raise and slaughter live animals.
But going back to your point, idk. I like to script scenarios I see in tumblr (especially the ones from @klausysworld 🙈), but perhaps is the one where I run over Klaus with my car and throw him off a bridge in my tvd dr. I need that enemies to lovers trope and he's an complete asshole anyway.
Or perhaps the scenario I scripted where the Mikaelson "go poor" for a week and they have to come live at our house and I suddenly have to share my bedroom with Klaus. Dw they get rich again, think about it as if their bank account was suddenly hacked by no reason other than karma. Or perhaps witches, who knows.
Ah, I love my stupid fanfic drs that make absolutely no sense. They're so ❤️💗🌷🌼💛 and ☠️💥💢🕳️💀 at the same time.

I wasn’t on tumblr at the time but Z’s bodyguard snapped a photo of Timmy entering the jet? Wtf?! Talk about a major breach of privacy.
I think a lot of people would prefer Z and Timmy not be friends because they (subconsciously) think he poses some kind of threat to Tom. It’s ridiculous. I think the three of them are friends and I’m going to add Darnell to that too. They’re all the same age, have the same level of fame, and there’s no reason for them to dislike each other. Z is private by nature and like you said, aware of optics. Her trying to not give shippers any ammunition doesn’t mean that she and Timmy aren’t friends.

Girl YEP!

Next thing we know, he gets fired. 👀 You really have to be very careful of what you post, especially when you work for famous people in the public eye.

THANK YOU!
Plus, Z has said herself that she's pretty introverted and shy, so she doesn't really keep a whole lot of friends in general. She's very selective with who she is friends with, and is probably just a homebody in general. She seems to have a very close small circle of friends or acquaintances, but she's not a "large group of friends" type of person, and that's okay!
She's definitely private by nature. But to try and claim that she and Timmy aren't friends, or aren't close anymore (even though you really have no basis on that other than press tours??) is just wild.
I'm not going to assume something like that based on VERY LITTLE information. Especially when Timmy himself isn't acting like anything has changed in their friendship dynamic.
To me, like you said, Z, Tom, and Timmy all seem like they like each other and are industry buddies. :) Idk why that concept is so hard for some to grasp.

friend, you do realise that no mater how vocal you are about disliking kylie it still isn’t gonna change the fact that timmy and kylie are seeing each other right???? like there NOTHING any of us can do about it because it’s his decision, pr or not, he CHOSED her. so pls stop body shamming/slut shamming or calling her all kinds of vile names it sounds a little misogynist!
Alright, here we go.
Me being vocal about my dislike of her is for two reasons. Firstly, I don’t want her fans interacting with my blog, I don’t want people who support her or think their relationship is “omg so cute!” interacting with my blog, etc etc. Second, I’m venting to people who share my feelings. I know I can’t do anything about it, yeah. I am fully cognizant of the fact that he will never see my blog in a million years (actually, I suspect you either don’t follow me or don’t know me very well, because if you did either, you would know that the last fucking thing I want is any level of interaction with that man, I don’t even follow him on Instagram for god’s sake, interacting with him is something I have had actual nightmares about). That is desirable for me. If I found out he had a Tumblr, I’d block him faster than you can say “not today, Satan.” That doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to voice my opinions on my own blog, though, does it? If you’d rather not see my opinions, well… you can just block me, y’know.
Yeah, he chose to be with her. His decisions are stupid. I support his right to make his own decisions, yeah, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to say that they’re stupid when I think they’re stupid. Supporting someone’s right to make stupid decisions doesn’t mean I am obligated to support those decisions, nor does it mean I’m not allowed to say as much.
Have I slut shamed her? If I have, I’m sorry; I don’t think she’s someone who sleeps around, based on what I know of her. It seems like she prefers serious relationships. Not that there’d be any issue with her sleeping around, mind you. As long as all parties know what’s going on and no one is being unsafe or harming anyone, I have no issue with that. And for the record, I don’t blame her for wanting to date and presumably bang Tim. Obviously she does. She’s got eyes, after all, doesn’t she? I don’t blame her for that, and I don’t take issue with her choosing to do that since he gave her the opportunity to do so. What’s she gonna do, say no? Obviously not. No, I don’t blame her for that. That’s not shitty, that’s a perfectly normal reaction to Timothée being down to date and/or fuck her. I blame her for all the shitty things she’s done, continues to do, and is complicit in.
As for the body shaming, I can see how you might feel I had done that. That was never my intention, though. My issues with her appearance do indeed exist, because of the harmful beauty standards she puts on young girls—young girls who looked like her before she had all that surgery, young girls who are still growing, like her daughter, for example—and the idea that in order to be beautiful, one has to look a specific way, be a certain level of tan when their skin isn’t naturally that dark (which is a whole other issue, believe you me), have the right facial features, the right size boobs and butt, the right size waist, a flat stomach, the list goes on and on and on. I also take issue with the fact that she lies about those things.
I support women and their rights to make decisions about their bodies. But—and this is very important, anon—what we must keep in mind is that she is not a normal woman. She is one of the most famous people in the world. She may not have chosen to get famous as a child, but she did choose to continue that fame once she reached adulthood. And to be as famous as she us and also be as blatantly shitty as she’s being… yeah, sorry, I’m gonna call her out on it on my blog, and if anybody takes issue with that, idk what to tell ya. Sounds like a you problem.

I think some people might possibly think that Barzy could “find someone better” and insists that “he deserves more” because of the fact she has a whole lot more to gain from the relationship than him. Yes, she is really rich and has a good status but he has his own money. He has a simpler lifestyle compared to her so he doesn’t need that much. Also, if they both are really toxic to each other, it kind of evens out the field even more… except on the part that he’s famous. If it’s true that she’s an attention seeker, it’s possible that she would stay in a relationship or would rather people conceive that she’s in that relationship just to get that level of recognition she hopes for because money does not always equate to fame.

I love when people say to others that their favourite celebrities would be scared or wouldn't care but they live thank to their fans and haters. They are famous because of people that follow them, if tumblr didn't exist I highly doubt that conventions were a think. They are celebrities and people can speculate about them. Period. If it wasn't like this they wouldn't be called celebrities
I don't understand why people think Jensen should be exempt from being speculated about. Do they even know every celebrity is talked about, the good and the bad??? Like, every day I see something about Kanye and his gf on TMZ, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp. And they worry about a few Tumblr blogs. AAs could never handle the level of fame real celebrities get if they're paranoid of a handful of Tumblr blogs.
