Abut this 2024... Thanks to everyone

I wanted to sit down and write something for this end of the year full of surprises, please be patient with me because I am relying on a translator for this.

I recently decided to take a look at my blog posts this year, and boy have I seen some great things! Not only a significant improvement in my art, but seeing how I've dared to try new things and all the wonderful gifts I've received from all of you.

Starting with the fact that I probably wouldn't be here fulfilling my dreams and sharing my art if it weren't for all of you. Thanks to everyone who chipped in to help me with my PC, thanks to you I still have my job as a designer (hey surprise, I was the most active designer in the company this year :D), it has allowed me to do my research for my thesis, it has allowed me to dedicate myself to commissions as I have wanted for years and above all it has allowed me to share my art and improve significantly. Thank you.

I also want to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday this year!! It was a bit of a complicated date at home and I spent weeks preparing my massive drawing attack (pt1 and pt2) … but I'm happy that everyone enjoyed it. Special thanks to the wonderful people who made me drawings QwQ, I promise to put them in my album one day. (There are a few more drawings missing from my pendrive, thanks to you too)

Special thanks also to everyone who attacked me during artfight!! I never expected so many people to shoot me with so much art, so many different styles that I really appreciate (my mom says she wants to frame some of them haha). I also got the chance to attack a lot of people with art, it was fun and I got to experiment a lot with coloring techniques and learned to draw faster. (Special mention to the last drawing which is a gif and should be appreciated properly, loviu <3)

Thanks also to all of you who have enjoyed my little comics. These have been pure experiment, trial and error… And seeing your comments has brought me a happiness that I can't describe (I want to talk about this later in another post, in the meantime let's continue with my cheesy stuff)

And well, to finish I also want to thank all the friends, artists and in general everyone I have met during this year. In my life I never thought I would get to talk to someone behind the screen, much less with people I don't know in person or that I admire… It's still difficult for me but little by little I have been learning and I have gathered the courage for small conversations and interactions. I have received words of encouragement, questions, casual conversations, compliments and advice, and I can't think of anything that I value more than this, especially for someone who rarely leaves home but enjoys sharing their art with the world.

This year I have experienced so many new things that I can hardly imagine what surprises next year will bring. In the meantime I promise to put more effort into my art! try new things! try to interact more! (please be patient with me) and above all have fun with all of you.

Hi, Miss Raven! What're your thoughts on the new characters' designs and the new cards we're getting?

I'll post my general thoughts below! I unfortunately don't know enough about Pinocchio myself to point out all the little easter eggs in their outfits, so I'll leave that to those who are more knowledgeable than me.

Regarding the NRC boys' looks overall, I think it's a very fun theme and very fitting for the location of the event. I like that they all still wear masks, just in a different context than in Glorious Masquerade. One thing I did notice is that the masks seem... same-y? Like they all resemble thick tree roots or something like that. So maybe they aren't masks at all, but they're associated with whatever the conflict in the story is. (I previously suggested mind control or the loss of consciousness, so maybe the "roots" play into that???) You can see the marionette theme Yana was going for, as well as some design elements from Black Butler's circus arc, very clearly. The poses for each of the boys, even the R cards, are extremely dynamic and imply a strong sense of movement. The ribbons are such a simple detail that contributes a lot to this sense of whimsy and flow.

Some comments I have on specific designs and poses:

Suspenders are so... Trey 💀 THERE'S REALLY NOTHING ELSE FOR ME TO ADD HERE, THEY JUST SUIT HIM

I like it when Trey makes these kind of slightly sus but plausibly deniable faces... He should make more of them...

I can't see the front of Jack's outfit that well, so I don't know if I can fully comment on it??? But I can see his. Like. Physique... coming through... That chest to waist ratio/j

Seeing Jack's tail like that kinda weirds me out. I think that's the first time we've gotten a "full" view of how the tails look coming out of the pants??? So maybe I'll get more used to it with time...

I like how his undershirt is frilled and how he has that sash at his waist it reminds me of the genderbent design for my TWST OC! The fact that both he and Floyd have the eel emblem that resembles a heart is also really cute~

Lilis is my favorite design of the R cards!! There's a very good distribution of ruffles throughout the look, and his knotted skirts fit well with his personal flair.

I'm not a huge fan of the style of hat Cater's wearing (sorry to all the Cay-kun stans out there), but I can appreciate his look. His dress appears more militant than Trey's, and his posing is certainly more aggressive--it's nice to see him in this new light.

The way Floyd is posed reminds me of those people that walk around on stilts. I think I much prefer the coloration on Floyd's outfit than on Jade's, but I prefer Floyd's jacket to Jade's. I think Floyd's the best of the SR designs!

Shockingly, Vil's look doesn't stand out to me that much??? I enjoy his sash, but I don't immediately pick up on anything in his illustration that catches my eye.

His pose resembles that of a ballerina, which just makes me think about the time he assigned Epel and Deuce extra (ballet) dance lessons in book 5 ajdbhasivldsadued

Of the SSRs, Ace is definitely my favorite one. He just looks so dramatic soaking up that spotlight and trying to look cool while doing it... Bro's 100% thinking, "heheheheh, I'm SO awesome :))" in his head.

Ace's design also reminds me a lot of Jack Hearts (from Disney Villain Recruiters). Not sure if it was intentional or not, but I'm definitely super into it!

HHNNNNNGNGHGHHGHGNGNGHHGHGHGHGHHHHH I WANNA BITE HIS HEAD OFF AND BULLY HIM SO BAD, I WANNA WIPE THAT SMIRK OF FHIS DUMB FACEe Am I seriously about to revert back to my Brat Loving era for Trappola... Maybe so...

I was pretty much expecting a SSR Ace (because he's a trickster with a brother that works in an amusement park) and Ortho (literally a robot that became a real boy), but Kalim took me by surprise. In hindsight, I guess it makes sense though...? Kalim has a similar immature vibe as the other two (plus I do remember there being this one scene in Aladdin where the Sultan was dressed like a jester that was being maneuvered on puppet strings).

It's great that Kalim gets to be a little out of his usual element and make darker, more mysterious expressions like what we see in his new illustration. I'm not sure if I entirely agree with how he's dressed (the yellow jacket is WAY too bright), but I love his his coattails (???) trail behind him in waves.

OR-KUN MY SON 😭😭😭 As is the case with all of his gears, I adore how the devs creatively adapted clothing into metal parts for Ortho! The half-caplet is easily the best part of the whole look for me (the pattern on it reminds me of stars falling down)--and because Ortho has a smaller stature, the type of hat he's wearing isn't as offputting; it actually looks very cute on him.

ANYWAY, VERY HAPPY THAT ORTHO GETS TO HAVE A HALLOWEEN SSR TO MATCH HIS BROTHER'S HALLOWEEN SSR FROM LAST YEAR... They match!!!

... Is that the fucking cricket on Ortho’s cape... and the goldfish on Kalim’s scarf… AND THE CAT ON ACE’S WAIST… What does this meeeean 🤡

And now for my thoughts on the two new boys!! Honestly?? I don't actually have much to comment on in this regard because I try to reserve my judgment of characters until I've actually seen them in action. I haven't seen Pinocchio either, so I don't have a strong basis for what their personalities would be like based on their original Disney counterpart. I only vaguely understand that Honest John and Gideon trick children into visiting Pleasure Island... That's it, that's the full extent of my knowledge on that pair. I don't have any other expectations going in other than "yeah, these two are going to swindle me".

Gidel looks like a mix of Cheka and Ruggie to me (because of the hair and the eye shape). He seems like he’ll be the other guy’s goon, similar to how Jade and Floyd/Ruggie follow Azul/Leona. Nothing else for me to add, Gidel seems alright… Just a silly lil’ guy!

I have more… mixed thoughts on Ferro. One one hand, he looks like the exact kind of shady bitch I’d love. (You know, the ones that smile and lie and manipulate and drive a knife into your back and—LOOK, HE’S VERY J WORD CORE) On the other hand, I’m beating back the “you like cat/dog boys” allegations from my friends, so 💀 I can’t give in so easily/j

Looks-wise, Ferro’s iteration of the rat tail hair is not as ugly to me as Malleus’s is. (I think it’s because it looks more windswept!) I also really like how he dresses—very dapper 😌 and he can pull off green eyeshadow well!

I’m wondering how they’ll make Ferro different than the other con artists we’ve seen so far *eyes Octavinelle* but I’m keeping my hopes up since the devs did a good job remixing the “I have a dead brother and I feel immense guilt about it” backstory for Rollo (when Idia had a similar one). Looking forward to that~

I’m sure my thoughts will chance once I actually get to see them in the event! ^^ I’ll keep you posted. For now, I’ll keep cautious. (Actually, this fan art basically summarizes my current feelings on the two! I’m Rollo/j)

Come On Darling

Part one has gotten a lot of attention and all the comments were really motivating so have a part two. Idk how good it is, i wrote this in the same general time it took me to write part one so hopefully it's decent.

Part One

"Hello, welcome to Roselight! How may I help you today?" The girl working there didn't even stutter when she saw Noah. She must be used to it in such an expensive shop like this one.

"I need a new tailored suit, she needs a full closet." You could almost see the dollar signs adding up behind her eyes.

"Of course! I'll have the tailors get prepared. As for her what are you thinking about for full closet? Different styles? All dressy? Casual? Sexy?" She didn't even look at you, just paying attention. While she and Noah were talking, you looked around the store. Eyes stopping on one of the other employees smiled at you. She was dressed down a little more than all the others, still in all designer. She seemed more normal then high class like everyone else working.

"Well, then are you ready to start shopping?" She was looking at you expectantly.

"No." Noah's arm you were told to hold onto tightened. His hand resting on yours. Not a threat a warning. "I was hoping I could work with her." You motioned to the employee you had seen earlier. Noah's arm relaxed.

"Unfortunately, she's not a shopper. She just helps stock and bag items."

"She'll be a shopper today then." Noah ordered. She finally started getting nervous.

"A manager has to sign off on i-"

"Then get a manager." Noah interrupted. "She wants to work with her, and we don't want to stand her arguing." A hurried, "I'll get one" was thrown over her shoulder as she retreated to the back. Remerging a minute later, a sharply dressed man following her.

"Hello, I'm Marcus, one of the managers. What can I do for you today?"

"She needs a new wardrobe and would like her to help." Noah motioned to the girl. Marcus glanced over at the girl, who looked like she was starting to get a little nervous with the attention she was getting for a reason she wasn't aware of. Marcus glanced at you next, understanding flashed through his eyes.

"Ah, of course. I'll go inform her of your request and as long as she agrees to it, I'll sign off on it."

"No i-"

"That would be great!" You interrupted Noah. You didn't want to pressure her into having to deal with Noah. Marcus came back a few minutes later, the girl following behind him.

"This is Jackie, she's agreed to help you and I've signed off her helping." His gaze was directed at directly at you. "All commissions will go to her for this sale." Noah's posture changed, considering Jackie's shift, it wasn't good.

"Thank you, that was my next question." Once again Noah relaxed. He had to be overly stressed because that could not be normal.

"I'll leave Jackie with you, let me know if there's anything I can help with." Marcus excused himself. Noah gave the same instructions he gave Caroline and Jackie wrote a few things down in a small notebook.

"Ok, whole new closet?" Jackie looked at you. "You've told me. I'm asking Y/n now." Jackie interrupted Noah when he tried to tell her again. She turned back to you. You nodded. "All styles?" Another nod. "No budget?"

"Budget." Noah immediately started protesting. Jackie waited until they stopped.

"Alright, we can easily get everything you need and any extra you want with 1 Million. So we'll set that as a tentative budget. Budget for you, tentative for the no budget peanut gallery." You were soon whisked away to a small room to get measured. With that out of the way, you were lead to a room full of overpriced clothes and accessories.

Anything you looked at twice or seemed interested in was added to a growing pile of try ons. Once you had ten full outfits, try ons started. Jackie was exactly what you wanted. If it looked good, she made sure you knew it. If it didn't look good, she figured out why. Certain styles were completely removed from the cart, some colors were pulled out too. She didn't try to get you to like the most expensive styles, or the big trends, her focus was solely on what you liked and what looked good on you. Something you were very grateful for.

Four hours of shopping later, and you were lead out to the main room where you had come in. Noah joined you and paid for the large amount of clothing you had liked enough to leave with.

Next you were taken to a shoe store. This time you had a name Jackie had given you. Another sign off and bags left with Noah, you got to work looking for shoes.

An hour and a half and 6 pair of shoes later, you were taken to a makeup store. Another name and sign off, more bags left with Noah and the process started all over again.

Three hours later, Noah paid and you left the outlet and went back to the hotel. Food was dropped off at the room and Noah inhaled his before changing and running out the door for a meeting away from the hotel. A quick "Here's my card, Don't leave the hotel or there will be problems." was thrown over his shoulder before the door was closed.

You started putting your things away, quickly realizing there wasn't enough room for all your new things and Noah's in the small closet in the room. So you made a call to the front desk and a half hour later a clothing rack with a few shelves at the bottom was delivered to your room. Setting it up was easy.

The hard part was deciding if you wanted to risk being petty and moving his things or just putting yours there.

Petty won.

If he was going to force you to get an entire new closet of clothes, you were going to put them in a closet. While moving his suits you snorted to yourself. If circumstances had been different, this shopping spree would have been a dream come true, but now, it just felt like something you would have to worry about repaying later.

Once all of his clothes hanging up were moved, you put his shoes on the bottom shelf. Once you were finished moving his things and adding yours, you moved onto the dresser. Moving his things into two of the six drawers and filled the other four with yours. Next step was rearranging the bathroom to add in the large amount of random makeup things you had gotten.

With nothing else to do, you looked through the list of things the hotel offered and decided to go get a massage. The shopping spree and large total numbers had apparently tired you enough that you didn't really care if Noah was upset.

Noah came back from the meeting to a dark and empty hotel room. Nicolas thankfully kept his head and told Noah to call the front desk to see if they had seen her. That phone call lead him to the spa where he was let into a small room where you were laying face down on a table while a woman worked on the knots in your back.

"He needs to go next. He seems way to tense to be healthy." Noah just stared at you in exasperation, questioning why the hell he was putting himself through all of this for Alec

When y'all finally start dating (which is a hilarious story I imagined but I don't have the energy to write. If you want it, let me know)

You thought Shuri was clingy before but now the nigga is SLOTH CLINGY! Holding onto your back, piggyback rides, held over your shoulder, or she's holding onto your arm.

Don't blame her though, she lost everyone so she needs to keep an eye on you

She's practically moved in with you and only goes back to Wakanda to do check-ups on the people and their safety (she is the Black Panther after all)

Riri has gotten used to coming home to Shuri and you laying on the couch or the floor watching tv

"I left you a box on the counter," Shuri said, her eyes never straying from the tv and her hands still playing with your hair. Riri sighs as she walks into the kitchen, greeted with the site of two boxes. One with her name and the other with MJ's name. "I wasn't sure if you were bringing MJ, or not, so I got something for her!"

Meanwhile, you're grumbling cause your sleep was disturbed by Shuri's yelling.

Speaking of sleep! We all know that College is a bitch, having a job doesn't help, and running a side hustle with Riri is kinda tiring.

I don't know if Shuri really thinks they're flirting or is just really jealous but if she sees a girl staring for too long or breathing weirdly. She's ready to throw hands... unless you can stop her in time

So, you're a college student running a business. Maybe you're selling hair care products. Just because some old people can't tell if you're a dude or a chick doesn't mean you have unkempt hair.

She bought a printer for you so you wouldn't have to keep using your friends' or the library's printer. She's piping shea butter hair cream into containers, pouring hair oil into bottles, and sticking labels on them.

She'll restock your ingredients, and buy another mixer for you so you can make two batches at a time instead of one.

One time, she sat you down and created a schedule for you. It's got what classes you have on certain days, restock days, wash days, birthdays, vacation time, etc.

Since you both know, you're not gonna keep up with the planner, she has complete access to it. She'll add things to it and you'll get a notification on your iPhone, iPad, laptop, and kimoyo beads.

Did I mention she got you kimoyo beads? You have them as a necklace and she made you Kimoyo earrings as well so you both are matching.

Homestuck: Beyond Canon Upd8s for June 26, 2024 and July 6, 2024

The peak of my convention season is almost over, and I'm taking a break to liveblog some Homestuck. It doesn't help that we've had two upd8s since I last checked the site. I'm also not feeling well, and I like browsing Homestuck stuff when I'm not feeling well.

When last we left off, I predicted that Calliope is using the Plot Point to influence the Candy Timeline through their connection with Roxy and her/their Void powers. If I'm right, this is the worst thing to have anywhere near a Serket. So I'm really wondering what's going on. Perhaps they think Vriska's ability to influence the narrative can give it a boost?

We don't get a news post for either of these upd8s, so we're going to jump right in!

Trippy . . . Though this seems considerably less seizure inducing than Homestuck's prior stuff. Perhaps the HICU are working on that a bit.

Okay, so I might be way off! So the Plot Point itself is the singularity at the center of the machine. The machine itself just stabilizes it, perhaps preventing it from expanding Big Bang style or sucking anything into it. And the fact it has both Calliope and Roxy's colors means they probably just worked on it together. I'm gonna go stand in the corner and turn into a sheep now.

Oh boy. Vriska is not having any patience for this . . .

Calliope said they needed authenticity, and Vriska following someone else's plan wouldn't exactly do that. Vriska would actually get as much info as she could normally though. So she thinks she has all the information she needs, she doesn't believe she can get accurate info from anyone in the Candy Timeline, or she's being affected by the Plot Point too. Possibly a combination of the three.

Either way, no we get an [S] page! Maybe this will be a substantive one.

So Vriska just got spaghettified into the Plot Point, and that seems to have changed the machine. That music was really creepy too. I'm continuing to have a bad feeling about this . . .

Okay. So the sprites seem to want to set Vriska straight. Emphasis on "seem." So why is this a bad thing? Is this simply bad from Calliope's perspective and her goal of trying to stabilize everything and end Dirk's influence on the timelines and the narrative? Is this a trap? Is this a previously unseen force or a new angle on one we know about?

So I'd previously blogged about how powerful the Plot Point could be. It is well within the realm of possibility for Vriska to be forced through a redemption arc. And there are definitely people out there that are hungry for that. As a god, this could put Vriska on the path to ascend, which might give her even more control over the narrative than Dirk.

But even with all the bullshit that's been going on in the Candy Timeline, even with the potential power of the Plot Point, even with all of Homestuck's prior ridiculous shenanigans, this feels a bit too convenient. Too contrived. Vriska, her Hive, the sprites. It all strains any kind of credibility.

And while there are people who are hungry to see Vriska redeemed, there's another outcome that I think far more people are hungry for . . .

Redesigning/Reimagining Hazbin's Characters-1 (Charlie)

I tried y'all, I really did, but I didn't have much to work with. Sorry about the cut off, the shoes did not go as planned.

So- How'd I do? Tell me your thoughts!

(I'll go in depth under the cut)

Okay, so, where to begin..

Well, first, I'll start by stating the obvious.

I don't like Charlie's design. If you like it, fair enough, but it's just not working for me.

There's thr usual problem of- you guessed it- Too. Much. Red.

Red eyes, red background, red details, red clothing, red cheeks, red Bang style, red under sleeves (even though the shirt is supposedly White when you look at the chest area, but then you see around her wrist and it's a dark red for no reason. I'm willing to bet that the animators just forgot which color goes where because the color palette is just red, pink, white, and black. Over and over again.

Next: I get that she's supposed to be bubbly, and happy-go-lucky, all that stuff. But to be honest, I feel like it would be more interesting if she actually wasn't that nice.

I feel like one thing that would be fascinating is the idea that she wants to help people, but she's out of touch. She's one of the most powerful things in Hell after all. She doesn't understand the point of the lower class People. Plus, she's never been out of hell, she doesn't know what Earth is like, or what heaven is like.

I feel like a version of her where she is trying to do good, but is ruthless or harsh in the way she does it, could both be entertaining- and provide character devolopement as she learns how nuanced proper care is.

Also, if she's the second / third most powerful thing in hell, she shouldn't be scared of Alastor. I don't mean that he can't be in the series or anything, I feel like there would still be plenty of uses for him. But with her being a high class royal, and as powerful as she is, she shouldn't need to rely on him for his power or his money for that matter.

I understand the idea that maybe Lucifer Cut Her Off from funding because he basically disowned her or whatever, so maybe funding could be an issue, but even so, she should not be afraid of Alastor.

I like the idea that she intimidated people into going into her hotel so she could "fix" them, not realizing that the fear of her wrath is the only thing keeping people there.

Or maybe the whole hotel thing could be an act of defiance against her father fitting, as "history repeats itself" (referencing Lucifer's defiance of God in biblical lore)

Perhaps she does good things, but isn't all that nice to begin with. But she attempts to be friendly and relatable without understanding how to ACTUALLY relate to or approach others.

How does all of this tie into my design of her?

A few things:

1. Viv said at some point that Charlie was meant to look like a porcelain doll, which... She doesn't look like at all. (I do like her new ponytail. But other than that I don't like the design.)

To me, she just looks like Ellen DeGeneres with long hair and clown makeup.

So, I made her more doll-like. But it wasn't enough. It was too simple.

Then, it hit me: in a lot of movies with demons or ghosts, oftentimes a doll gets possessed by said demon/ghost.

I'm not even afraid of dolls personally, but I know a lot of people who are

So What if, Charlie did the same? Maybe her true form is something really scary, so in an attempt to come across as more approachable, she has some sort of doll-like shell? (But, unbeknownst to her, most people are very afraid of dolls. So it does very little to actually help. I think that's some decent comedy potential.

Plus, imagine her having stiff or janky movements, like she doesn't actually fit that well in her body.

2. The horns.

I actually kind of liked her weird demonic form, at least I liked the horns and the moving hair, but since I decided not to give her a crown, I gave her those weird 4 horns with decorative string tied between them, as a way to make it appear *similar* to a crown. Plus as a reference to the whole 'demonic' thing

I kind of used Sofia from "Harmony and Horror" as a reference. (Btw, great analogue horror series on YouTube, highly recommend it)

3. I did make Charlie's hair a bit darker, but just a little. That was in reference to part of Lucifer's lore, which said that when he fell from heaven, not only did his feathery angel wings burn away into bat wings, but his once golden hair burned into a dark red. So I decided that for Charlie, her hair is darker, but since she's trying to do good, it turns lighter.

But yeah, I'm honestly not sure about her outfit, I'm probably going to experiment with that in the future. But overall I'm okay with how this turned out.

My personality: I tend to make a lot of jokes and be sarcastic even at inappropriate times it's not on purpose and it's just my way of dealing with life situations I'm quite shy at first but when I get intimate I become much louder and talking about being loud I talk too loud and laugh too loud, I'm the type of person who often thinks too much before doing something and I also often do things without thinking which ends up causing me to get hurt there was even one time I ended up in the hospital because of it ,I like to be kind and polite to people but I will also treat people the same way they treat me if the person is kind to me I will be kind to them but if the person is cold to me then I will be cold to them no matter whoever the person is, I have some anger issues and I get irritated very easily so I end up being rude and talking a lot louder (and also because of these anger issues I can end up getting into some fights) I know this is a problem so I'm trying to deal with it, I'm the therapist friend I don't mind people venting to me even if I don't know the person and it's very likely that I hug the person to make them feel better since for me hugs always make things better ( but I won't hug the person if they don't feel comfortable) and as much as I can deal with other people's emotions I don't know how to deal with my own emotions and I have difficulties to vent in a healthy way that does not harm me, I I'm also a bit lazy and introverted I like to go out for fun but I need to have some time alone (it's practically a necessity), I've never been in a romantic relationship and if someone showed any interest in me it's very likely that I wouldn't I would know very well how to react and I would probably be very shy even though I don't like it but if I've been dating the person for a while I wouldn't be so shy anymore and I wouldn't have a problem flirting all the time or being bolder.

Jk ily, now here's my submission for the surprise date thingy and lemme tell you, I'm sooo happy they're still open.

Now, about me, hmm, where do I start... am a bit of a weirdo, I guess, or well, I've been told that I am a very unusual personality. If you'd like, I could provide some insights on my physical appearance, but I deliberately left that out, as I believe that falling in love has little to do with bra size and eye color.

I am a very private person; I take some time to warm up and won't do that with anyone, but once I am comfortable, I am very passionate, talkative and have been told I have a wicked sense of humour. Also, while I am fairly introverted, I am by no means shy or a pushover; in fact, I have no problem speaking my mind, even if others think it is weird. I do have a clear idea of what I want, but I am not stuck on it and always open to new things and perspectives.

In my free time, I draw and paint a lot, experimenting a lot with different mediums and styles. I also enjoy gardening and cooking, reading, and spending lots of time alone in nature, be it on walks, with my boat on the river or also rock climbing. I am very interested in history, particularly military and art history; trying to reconstruct how the daily life of the people really was like is very interesting to me. And the thought that all of it already happened and nobody can change it also is strangely comforting to me. I also love systems; building them and exploring them in my mind to make sense of the world.

My MBTI type is INTJ and my Enneagram type is 4w5 (I find tests like these very interesting, because they help me make sense of my own and other people's emotions which I struggle with at times).

I value smartness (even though I think of myself as arrogant for it), creativity, uniqueness and individualism. What really annoys me is things like drama, gossip and being forced into smalltalk.

Not much is known about this guy, and he prefers it that way. He won't necessarily go out of his way to maintain his mystery, but he will also prefer your date be in a part of town he knows his clone brothers don't frequent. He'll say it's to explore a new place, but secretly he's nervous and doesn't want anyone to know. What if you don't like him? What if he messes up the date somehow? He'd be so embarrassed.

Thankfully he doesn't have anything to worry about, at least as far as the date is concerned. He walks up to you with his helmet beneath his arm and you can't help but comment on what seems to be a hand-painted design. This immediately launches you two into conversation about art, which leads into sharing about all the crafty projects you've both been working on, which then turns into chat about other pastimes you share. You'll be amazed at how much this guy does in what little spare time he has, and he'll be equally enthralled by how easy it is to talk to you.

You'll have walked side-by-side in conversation all over the city, barely aware of your surroundings as you learn more about each other. Blackout regrets that time slipped away so quickly, he'd wanted to treat you to a drink or dessert or something. His nerves return at the end, worried he didn't take good enough care of you to warrant his ask for a second date. If you gave him another chance, though, he'll definitely prove himself worthy of your affections. You'll be one of the rare few in the galaxy he lets close.

Character Creator Chat: The Sims 4!

Yeah, it's kinda weird that I've never covered "The sims" in this series, From what I've heard, it's pretty much the GO-TO game for creativity. I have not touched the series in years, long before my design journey.

The gameplay of the sims has never really been for me, so today we're just going to have some fun with the character creator, we're not going to worry about setting up a family, or anything extra. And I'll probably again stick to just re-creating my style savvy avatar again, like normal. (I'm not very creative, so coming up with something new each time would be very difficult)

Right from the start, we're kinda blasted with information, first a kinda 'battle pass' type of progression system, then some informational videos, purchase suggestions, patch notes, and more. It was all a bit much for me tbh, so I just clicked 'New Game'.

Here we can either start building our sim character, or we have the 'create a story' option to have a pre-made sim based on a personality test. That actually sounds pretty neat, I'm sure some people would get lost in all the sliders and options, I'm glad they have the option to jump right in,without being force to select a default character/preset Let's give it a try, just to see what we get! (Feel free to skip)

Ok, so they ask a series of Questions, like "what's your age", "how do you inspire people", and "how do I cheer myself up?" they have some more humorous questions like: "What role would I play in a criminal heist?" There are a lot of interesting questions here, and you have the option for 'new question' if you don't think any of the answers fit. So I tried to fill them out in the way I thought my character would respond, it's a very interesting creative exercise, as I don't generally think this way. For example, one question was like "What would you like to be remembered for", with answers "The art I created", "My contributions to science", or "for everything I've collected" For me, the whole concept of 'legacy' is nebulous at best, It's kinda embarrassing to admit, but it every single one of these questions (side from age) were kinda difficult for me to parse:

I always had to kinda ask myself, why do they actually mean by that? And I had a hard time answering them for myself, let alone for a fictional character, it almost felt like solving a puzzle, thinking about the relation between the question and the answers to figure out what they were actually asking. Not because I needed to find the "Right Answer", nothing like that, Just because they're not really written in a format that I feel like I can answer accurately. like, "What do you mean, what do I do for fun?" "When? How do i feel that day? Where am I? What did I do prior?" I'm sure that just sounds like 'Overthinking' to some people, but that's just how I operate naturally, most (personal) questions for me can have multiple answers based on the context, It's like asking someone "what's your favorite...?"and expecting a reply They'll wonder, "what drink? food? or color?" and it would be hard to give an accurate answer. So in short, how I worked with these questions, was mainly focusing on the subject and keywords, and tried to figure out what answer seemed to most accurately fit the 'theming' of my character. Like picking choices that focused more on design/art, because of their affinity for style, rather than focusing in on what it really meant for their personality. ----------------------------------------------------------------

And here's what I got:

Ok, so I really don't know if these questions really affected the characters' appearance, or just their personality/outfit, But I was given: "bodybuilder", "high metabolism", "active", "creative", and "evil" (maybe because I said 'mastermind' on the 'heist' question) Well, that did not work out how I expected, I tried to answer them in a way that pushed a bit towards active, creative, and assertive. But clearly the quiz was not the right choice for me. so we'll start over ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, So I've manually set up the personality to manually be creative, (best-selling author, since fashion was not an option) She's also, Active, loyal and ambitious, I think they kinda covers the vibe my avatar is supposed to give off. Ok, on to character editing, starting at the top:

For hairstyles alone, there are tons of choices, with a great array of styles and filters, over 100 choices and I'm just a f2p player! I'd imagine you'd get even more if you bought a few dlc packs! You get a great selection of style and lengths, and a few good color choices (but no full color picker/slider tho) Ok, so Skintone was actually supposed to be above hair:

We have a good selection on display, with a lot of natural tones, With a brightness slider, so you can further dial in the exact tone. As well as some fantasy options as well! (Blue, green. bright red, etc) Skin Details is also a dedicated section:

You can apply multiple different effects or skin colorings, such as freckles, moles, or other types of skin coloring that I've not seen represented in any other game! It's a really great option for representation, you can even dial in the coloring for many of these too! Next up is teeth:

While there are not a ton of options here, I still think this offers a pretty crazy amount of variety, there are various presets, including braces, and less uniform layouts. I'm a little surprised theirs no 'color' option, just to make some of them look a little less 'perfect', but it's still a great showing! Next up is 'eye detail'

This allows you to add bags under your character's eyes, You have four different options, but oddly no further customization. So you can't blend them(no transparency) or adjust the coloring. And somehow I skipped another option 'faces',

This is a selection of 19 presets, that would offer a good variety of starting points. I'm not sure why, but I did have a little bit of trouble navigating these menus, they look very clean, and fairly well laid out. (Maybe it was the lack of a 'next' button, I'm not sure) I also found it a little strange that I'd run out of menu's for editing the face, no nose, eyes, or lips settings, and later clicked the face by accident to find out it's pretty much a 'hidden menu' I'm sure if I'd played any sims games in the last 6 years or so this would be easy to figure out. I'm not saying this creator is bad, just the opposite! It's just not really easy (for me personally) to navigate at times! I'm used to everything having it's own dedicated menu entry.

Eyebrows are next, again a very wide selection, but lacking filters or advanced settings, or labels. I kinda feel like I need to go in with a reference when looking at these, Without being able to have the character emote, it's a little hard to be able to see how they'd move with various facial expressions. And without labels or a way to 'pin' the choices you like, it's a bit hard to compare, and some advanced options to tweak maybe the angle or transparency/fullness would be nice, rather than having to pick a separate (unlabeled) choice, but some of these may be limitations of the engine. (But still with over 50 choices, you have a ton of variety)

Eyes are next:

Over 70 options with a variety of styles, sizes, and looks and I'm going to again assume this is just how the game engine works, because I kinda prefer other game's creator option where you start with a preset, and can kinda tweak and refined the design till you get what you're looking for, Rather than scrolling through a selection of presets that is this large, Sure's there's an 'undo button' but it kinda makes comparisons hard, especially when the eye options don't really seem to be sorted by anything in particular. Also, go presets for eye color options, overall, but I still would have preferred a full color picker, especially when the game lets us have blue skins, having more unnatural eye colors (or color contacts) would have been nice! Also, maybe it's just my PC being weird (running the game on Linux) But it looks like some eye options really mess up the eye lighting:

Next Up, is nose:

24 presets, and honestly, I don't think these previews are very helpful. It's mostly the angle, but just how they're framed as well, makes it kinda hard to tell what you're selecting, you just gotta manually rotate your character, and try a few out until you find one you like, no advanced options here either. Next up is cheek:

Over 35 options here, and again, I kinda found them a little hard to judge by the previews, but they have a good amount of variety. It's here that I also figured out, you can make some adjustments to the positioning of facial features, but only by clicking and grabbing.

It's not really the most precise way to adjust your character's features But, it's easy to understand when you find it, and the undo button makes it serviceable

Next up is mouth:

27 options here, and a bit easier to judge based on the preview. I really like the section on offer, it's really cool to see how a simple change can change the personality a lot, the first choice I picked, looked nice, but a little too 'standard' for the character I was looking to make, but one simple change really add a bit more personality!

Next up is chin:

This is something else, I really think I need to be looking up references for, so I can understand the styling concepts of better. They have some cute dimple options too, But just like with nose, I decided to keep thing simple. I thought I was done, and was about to go to makeup when I found that 'head shape' is also a option exclusive to clicking the face:

Only 14 options here, but they seem to most effect brow height, and a little bit of the shading on the forehead. Almost missed this one too, as there's only a small area to click on.

'Jaw' has 9 presets, and it's great for squaring up or rounding off the face, I went with a mostly longer design, but with a small bit of roundness at the end. Ideally, this will help with the more 'mature' look. And with that, we're done with the body shaping options! So now on to hats!

There's a pretty.. Interesting selection here, Baseball caps, cowboy hats, beanies, sunhats, and much more!

Accessories are next:

(What are with these wild emotes? D:) A pretty broad selection here too, glasses, earrings, and even hearing aids. Many offering alternet colors (but only a small, fixed selection) But I would love to see a little more option to customize these, like the feather earrings are super cute, But I think they're a little too bright. Same with the glasses frame, I would have loved to get them in flat black rather than dark gray. Next up is the makeup selection, first 'eye shadow.'

20 options, And it looks like we finally get some color sliders! We pick a base color, then we can tweak the hue, transparency, saturation, and brightness, and we can save our new custom color for future use! Next up is eyeliner:

Only 13 options here, a good selection of patterns, and the same color selection as before. Eyelashes are next:

Only two options, and not much in the say of color, I guess it mostly represents an option for eyelash thickness. though, it would be nice to have more granular options. Next up is cheek makeup,

Cheeks only have 3 patterns, but a fairly good selection of color choices, I picked something a little brighter than my character's skin tone in an attempt to lighten up their face a little. ---------------------------------------------------------- ...And I've now used up all 30 of my image slots, so looks like I'll have to divide this into two parts!

I've talked about my children a bit before but I am MORE than happy to do so again (and again, and again), so sorry in advance to my followers (jk they're definitely not surprised by now)

Anyway, they're basically part dementor part vampire part spider. Their natural forms are based on what little we know about the appearance of black holes, and their disguises are based on the spectacle left behind by supernovae- beautiful, colorful, hinting at disaster and danger. The disguise has almost a magnetic effect, pulling in other magical beings like an anglerfish's bioluminescence.

Star Eaters are created when a being- human, or from any other planet -wishes to become a star, Jafar style, and becomes corrupted by selfish motivation. On occasion they create new Star Eaters by combining their energies, but they're all so hesitant to relinquish any power that second-gen star eaters are immensely rare. When they do happen, second-gens tend to have a lot more self-control and variety of personality than first-gens, and some even seek out stars to wish for a normal life. Ironically, the few second-gen Star Eaters that manage to become human tend to have powerful magic left over from their previous life, fulfilling the desires that corrupted and doomed their parents in the first place.

They're a pretty rare occurence in general, really, but what they lack in numbers they make up for in the ability to blink/teleport short distances, climb walls, and endure harsh environments. They have the habit of hitching rides on comets and asteroids and nesting in black holes.

As the name suggests, less than subtly, Star Eaters bite stars/starfolk if you're into that (but it doesn't matter which really), and any other magic they can get their claws on, to drain their power. They are always hungry, always hunting, and always waiting for stars to leave the safe haven of the sky for worlds where they'll be more vulnerable. Their true appearance is incessantly emaciated no matter how often they feed, reflecting the hollow pursuit of power that created them. They're feral, become more and more mindless over time, ruthless, and just generally impolite.

They can't kill stars, but they can drain them badly enough they become next to powerless temporarily, and their appearance shifts more towards a white dwarf until they recover.

The six-limbed, fast, agile, strong, 8-ft thing does tend to be disconcerting for humans and similarly weaker species though.

My girlie Mordrea is a second-gen Star Eater who's determined to become human and learn glassblowing, or maybe be a librarian, or maybe a servant in a grand palace- she hasn't decided but she'll figure it out, probably. Now all she has to do is find a star or star-person and not munch them long enough to do that. Easy.

As for how they'd interact with the canon characters? They'd mostly ignore normal people in favor of any magical presence, like Magnifico, or Asha's wand, or lil Star. They're single-minded in the presence of anything they can eat, turned into little more than starving predators when they can sense magic nearby. I don't know how much magic Asha herself has, but she'd have to find a way to try to keep these things off her wand, for sure. Magnifico in his little mirror is cornered- though, a Star Eater may be able to pull him out of there! if only to eat his magic a minute later-

That could be a way to free Magnifico from the corruption of the dark magic, actually. Can't be corrupted by dark magic if all the magic in ya gets forceably monched-

🌟 Hot Take from someone in the Wish fandom🌟

I think Star is overrated. And I haven't been to any other part of the Wish fandom, outside of Tumblr and Twitter, so I have to say I'd much rather see Asha redesigns, AUs or more Wish OCs than everyone talking about Asha and Starboy.

Not saying everyone needs to talk about Magnifico. He's not everyone's cup of tea. Some even think he really is an irredeemable villain. But there's more to Wish than Magnifico and Starboy redesigns. I just wish people would explore more or even create more, since I know there's a VERY long list of things to criticize about the movie.

Tell me about your OCs, Asha headcanons, Magnifico headcanons (of course 🤣) or Amaya headcanons. Invent a cute animal companion for Amaya. Make an OC (that's not a Starboy redesign) fall in love with Asha. Have the Evil Book turn into a human sorcerer like Jafar and make HIM the Real Villain in a rewrite.

Today is Wednesday but not just a regular Wednesday. It’s the day of the meeting with Elizabeth Olsen and her manager, Jane Vernon.

Your phone alarm sounds break the silence in your room slowly but sure it gets louder enough to motivate you to start the day. You woke up with mixed feelings. Excited yet nervous at the same time. You turn on some music. Sunset Lover - Petit Biscuit starts to play and you get ready. After a fresh shower, you put on just enough nude color makeup then you go to your walk-in closet to pick a close-fitting button up white shirt with burgundy stripes and black slim fit women's suit and trousers with burgundy open toe high heels that match with your nails color since it’s your favorite color. You get your side parted wavy medium length burgundy colored hair done that makes it flow down to your shoulder. You may be the type of girl who doesn’t really like to put on much makeup, but you take your hair, clothings and nails pretty seriously as well as your perfume.

As soon as you are all ready and putting your heels on while sitting on a little sofa in the middle of your closet, your phone rings. You guessed that it’s Mitchel and you are right. 

“Good morning darling.” You answered as you continued to put on your shoes. “Oh wow, that's the spirit! Good morning love! Are you excited for today? Are you ready?” said Mitchel on the other end. “Well, yeah but no but also yeah that I’m all ready to go.” You replied while you took another look in front of the mirror and slowly twirled to make sure you looked good. Then you spray a little bit of perfume and you are ready to go downstairs while still on the phone. “Okay great. I will see you over there, I want to say hi to Jane. Everything will be okay. Don't be nervous, okay Y/n?” Mitchel tried to make you feel better. “Thank you Mitchel. I appreciate it. I’m leaving soon so I’ll see you there. Bye.” You grab your medium size leather purse and go downstairs.

As usual, your mom is already awake, sitting on the big living room couch. “Morning Ma. I have a meeting this morning. It shouldn’t be that long but you know Mitchel, he might want to have brunch after that but just call me if you need anything, okay? Love you Ma.” You gave her a hug and went to the garage. “Okay hun. Good luck. Love you too.”

You put on your prescription aviator style sunglasses, blast some music to amp you up started by White Lies - Odesza then start driving. The sun was up but not too bright, the traffic wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be so you arrived there a little too early. 

As you walked into the lobby you saw a coffee shop so you decided to get some ice coffee for you. Just when your order is ready and you are about to grab it, you notice a familiar face whose order is ready too. It was Lizzie grabbing her order. Eye contact was caught between you two and you gave a smile just to be friendly and she replied with a nod and small smile. You recognize her even though her long dirty blonde hair flawlessly covers both sides of her face and she is wearing sunglasses that were intended to cover her face so she won’t be recognized. You both walk towards the elevator and blend in with a group of people in the elevator. You saw her pressed the floor button then she dived back into whatever she was doing with her phone. The elevator stopped on your floor, some people went out to go to other offices which are on the same floor as Vernon’s office. Lizzie went out as well but she stopped in front of the elevator to answer a phone call so she didn’t know that you both actually have the same destination to meet Jane.

After you greeted and talked to Aaron, Jane’s assistant, he informed you to wait in the waiting room. Few minutes later, you heard that Lizzie came in and was told the same thing as you were. She is sitting on the chair across you talking on the phone with her best friend about the plan to meet up after the meeting, while you are browsing on your phone and enjoying your ice coffee you can feel that sometimes she takes a quick glance once or twice at you without knowing who you are and why you are there. 

“I don’t even wanna be here. I still think it’s a stupid idea to get me another personal assistant. This already made me upset to begin with and it’s just gonna make me not like this person already even though I know it’s not her fault to get hired by Jane.” She tried to talk as quietly as possible but not quite enough for you not to be able to hear it. Aaron came and told her that she can come into the meeting room. “I gotta go, I’ll see you later after the meeting. Bye.”

She hangs up then proceeds to follow Aaron to the meeting room. After what you heard, you can only chuckle to yourself knowing this is not gonna be easy work between you both. Aaron comes for your turn. “Ms. Y/l/n, they are ready for you. You can come this way.” Aaron guides you to the meeting room. You smiled and thanked him as he opened the door for you.

You come into the meeting room that has large windows around it that give natural light and a pretty sky view decorated with clouds and top of skyscrapers of L.A with the trails of the streets and cars that look so small from up here. You see Lizzie is sitting next to Jane with Mitchel sitting in front of them, parted by a big rectangle glass table. 

“Y/n darling! You made it!” Mitchel came to you and gave you a cheek to cheek kiss as always. “Hi Mitch. I’m glad to be here.” You smiled.

“Come, let me introduce you to these fabulous ladies. Jane, Lizzie this is Y/n Y/l/n. She is my best friend slash the best personal assistant you are looking for. Y/n, this is Elizabeth Olsen and her manager Jane Vernon.” Mitch proudly introduces you to them. 

“Nice to meet you Y/n, Mitch talked a lot about you once he knew I was looking for a professional assistant. I hope you don't mind me calling you by your first name.” While Jane offered her hand for a friendly handshake yet felt so formal, you can see from the corner of your eyes Lizzie’s jaw dropped a little, looking at you up and down realizing you might have heard what she said on the phone earlier about you. “The pleasure is mine Mrs. Vernon and yeah I don't mind you calling me by my first name” You gave a firm professional handshake and smiled. “You can call me Jane.”

You then slightly turn your head to Lizzie and her beautiful green eyes are now so easily noticeable by you without her sunglasses on. “Ms. Olsen, It’s nice to meet you.” You smiled and tried to stay professional even though you know how she feels about this meeting and about you. There is an awkward vibe from Lizzie towards you since she thinks you heard her conversation but her stubbornness about this whole thing is bigger than the awkwardness itself that made the friendly Lizzie respond a little cold to you. “Thanks, same here.” She gave you a quick handshake but you can feel the softness of her skin even though just for a few seconds.

The four of you take a seat. “So Y/n, this is not an interview because practically you are already hired because I read your resume plus the reference from Mitch here. I gotta admit, it’s pretty impressive. Lots of years of experience working in this field, you have worked with big names in Hollywood. You speak five languages and that’s another big plus. We have this meeting just so we can sign the contract and agreement. I believe Mitch already gave you the details of Do’s and Don'ts and our expectation specially from Lizzie here.” Jane explained while she was looking at your resume then slid some papers in front of you on the table for you to take a look at it.

“Well, to be honest what I wanted was actually simple, I don’t want any new personal assistant but Jane insisted on giving it a try, so here I am. So, I hope you are as great as your resume Y/n to make my try worth it.” Lizzie said it in a quite firm tone with the best pretend smile she can do. Deep down she hoped what she just said would’ve just made you change your mind.

“Ha Ha Lizzie was just joking. Isn’t she funny?” Jane laughed awkwardly and tried to give Lizzie a look about what she said. 

“Is that so, Ms.Olsen? Don’t you worry about it. I hope the way I work and the way I do my job suits you.” You gazed at her eyes before you gave a fake smile. You tried to remind yourself in your mind that you respect Mitch and don’t want to put him in a hard time with his client even though Jane is a good friend of his otherwise your reaction would be different.

“This is the contract, it will be only for two years but it might be for less than that. If it does change to less than two years, there will be a notice in advance. It can also be terminated early if there is a mutual decision by both parties. All of this is written in it. It says you acknowledged and  agreed with what I just informed you. You can sign on every section that’s marked X” Jane explained all the details while she showed each point. You read everything, gazed at Lizzie’s mesmerizing green eyes and gave a little smirk to her then signed each section. As you can see, this clearly upset Lizzie.

“Okay, everything is good. In this envelope, there are all Lizzie’s schedules, addresses and numbers. Plus all lists what she likes and dislikes. Sometimes you need to drive with her, sometimes you don't have to. I’m sure you know the drill, but just a friendly reminder that everything is confidential, especially all Marvel related. You can start on Friday. I guessed that’s all. Welcome to our family Y/n. We are thrilled that you joined us here, right Lizzie?” Jane finalized everything with another handshake with you and Mitchel. “Yeah, sure. Now if you guys excuse me, I gotta go right now. Sorry.” Lizzie put a tiny smile in the corner of her lips, waved goodbye then left in a rush and looked upset.”

As soon as Lizzie left and the door was closed, Jane apologized. “Ummm, Mitchel, Y/n I’m truly sorry for how Lizzie acted earlier. Trust me, she is actually a very sweet, genuine and friendly person. That’s the reason I have been her manager and agent for years, she’s like a sister to me. It’s just that she sometimes can be very determined or stubborn with what she wants or what she doesn't want and not afraid to show it but I’m sure she will slowly understand why I need to have Y/n’s help. She just has anxiety when she has to adjust or deal with new people. I hope you guys can understand.”

“Don’t worry about that Jane. I have met Lizzie and I know how sweet she is. Like I told you before, Y/n has her own way of working and don't be surprised with how straight forward she is plus she doesn't sugar coat things. She is eccentric in a good way. Right Y/n?” He nudged your arm and smiled.

“Haha. yeah sure Mitch.” You answered jokingly. “I guess we better get going. Thank you Jane. Nice seeing you as always.” You and Mitch bid farewell to Jane and left. “Bye guys. See you again.” Jane walked back to her office room.

“Mitchel, what the hell was that? Why did she act like that? On top of all, why didn’t you tell me that she actually didn’t want an assistant?!” You tried to whisper so nobody at the office heard as you both were walking out of the office.

“Yeah about that, I forgot to tell you. I’m sorry. “ Mitch squinted his eyes waiting because he was worried how your reaction was gonna be.

“You are lucky we are best friends otherwise I wouldn’t sign that contract and would’ve said NO on the spot after what she said. I already don’t like her. This is not gonna be easy.” You said it jokingly but it has a little bit of truth in it.

“Haha. I love you too!” Mitch replied happily, knowing you would help him no matter what. Both of you parted, continue with your days.

It's an early morning, and the dew on the grass shines when the sun hits is. Mother is helping the servants make breakfast and father has gone into town for work. It's not often that you wake up so early, and you would like to enjoy your time outside. Mother does not like when you wander around outside because you always come back with the hem of your dress dirty and tattered. In order to avoid the wrath of your mother, you put on some pants that one of the stable boys let you borrow. Oh but if mother ever saw you in pants when not riding, then you would have to pray for your life.

You lay down in the damp grass, trees providing some shade, but sun still covering your body. It's a beautiful day, you think you may go horse back riding later. Your favorite horse, Tim Tam, would be excited to see you.

Wind blows, rustling the grass around you, sending a chill up your spine. You can just barely see your house in the distance, you walked quite a ways.

The sound of a horse clopping nears, stomping in the grass and surely leaving tracks. You sit up and look around, but can't find the source of the sound. One of the stable boys must have taken a horse out for exercise. Without warning, a horse leaps out of the trees, it rears in front of you and lets out a bellowing neigh. You gasp and scatter backwards.

The horse brings it's hooves down with a loud 'thump'. A man sits atop the horse, tall and intimidating. He dawns dark clothing, between farm clothes and noblemen clothes. There is no other way to explain it. His hair is tied up in a pony tail, and it is quite long. But that's not what catches your attention. It's his eyes. Dark and hollow, endless, hypnotizing.

You clear your throat and stand up, patting the dirt off of your pants. "Hello sir, what brings you around here?"

His voice is flat, monotone, and unchanging. "Get on."

"Excuse me?" You ask, completely baffled.

This scene reminds you of an old story your mother told you. Somewhere in Greece there are two gods, a dark one taking the woman who is amongst the flowers.

He seems angry, only slightly furrowing his brows. It's his eyes that tell you he's frustrated. He leans down, and grabs you by your bicep, gripping it tightly.

"Hey! That hurts!" You yelp out.

There's no time to react when he yanks you from the ground, seating you in front of him on the saddle.

"What are doing?!" You exclaim, unable to move with one of his arms holding you against him. He digs his stirrup into the side of his horse, and with one hand holding the reigns, rushes off.

No matter all of your screaming and crying, there is no escape or answers. Eventually your throat is raw from the yelling, and you fall silent. It feels as if you speak that blood would fill your mouth. Soon enough, a fence comes into view. Beyond the fence you can barely make out a farm house across from the acres of fields. The horse jumps the fence, and trots contently towards the house. As you get closer, you realize just how big this house is. It must be three times as big as your own house. There's a barn to the side of it, it's doors wide open, but it seems that there are no animals inside.

A servant is waiting outside of the house, and when the both of you dismount the horse, he leads it to some stables. The man who abducted you grips your wrist tightly, enough that you know there will be bruises. He remains quiet, and you do the same. The doors are grand, and he pushes through them. He leads you through the foyer and to what must be the Great Chamber of the house. Sitting in a love seat with a round wooden table in front of her, is a tall woman dawning a fascinator, and an elegant dress.

Without turning to look at you she says, "I see you obtained her Illumi. The servants are waiting in her room." So his name is Illumi?

"Thank you mother." He returns.

He leads you up excessively tall stairs and down a hall to a door with locks on the outside of it. He pushes you inside and locks the door behind you.

In the room there are three women, standing in a line with their heads bowed. "Welcome my lady." Says the woman in the middle. The woman to the left follows, "We are to wash and dress you." The woman on the right adds, "Please allow us to do so."

Soon enough, you're sitting on a chair in the nude, the women using cloths on your body. They dip them into the bucket with soapy water, and rubs the cloth up and down your body. You're dressed in under garments, and then in a round gown. Your face is covered with powder, some light lip balm rubbed against your lips, giving them a rosy tint. Lastly, your hair is styled in a way that it never has been, it takes two hours.

It's dark by the time the women unlock the door and leave. You wander around the room, examining the furniture. The curtains are drawn, so you look outside. It's hard to see anything in the dark, the light from the barn being just bright enough to see in the distance. There's a thump from below you, and you peer down closer to the house. Someone is dragging something off of the deck, but as they get further away from the house, you are unable to see them.

If being abducted weren't enough evidence, there is definitely something wrong here. When you try to speak, all that comes out are quiet whimpers and squeals. It's painful to the point you wish you had never tried to speak.

You realize that the bedroom door is cracked, leading to the dark hallway. You make your way over to the door and peek your head out, looking both ways down the hall. It's almost pitch black, the only light from a window, shining bright moonlight. You step out and find yourself wandering to the end of the long hall. A room with two doors which are wide open presents itself. A man sits on the unusually large bed, examining your every move.

He calls out to you in the darkness, "Come in. I don't bite."

You tip toe towards him, standing in front of the bed where he sits. He's large, the moonlight reveals his muscles, and glowing blue eyes. "You will make a wonderful wife." He leans forwards, and pets your face, holding your chin in his hand.

"So strong, so smart. Yes, a wonderful wife for my son." He says. You would protest but there is no way you could produce sounds from your mouth. These people are fucking crazy. "Go on now, explore your new home."

You happily do as he says, pulling your face away from his hand and scurrying out into the hall, and down the stairs. Have these people not heard about candles? They have servants, so they must be able to illuminate their house.

The house is eerily still, the air stiff. The front door, you'll go out pf the front door. But you have a feeling if you try to escape there will be someone on guard.

You push through the heavy doors, needing to put all of your weight and strength in order to open it. The door slams behind you, and you let out a sigh, wiping sweat off of your forehead. Yes, they are neurotic.

This is where you saw the person below you dragging something. There's a path in the grass where something has been pulled through. It's flattened it, leading far away.

You pick up your dress, stepping down the stairs and following the path. Eventually your arms get tired and you drop your dress to the ground, allowing it to be tainted. Your feet begin to hurt as well, so you pull off your shoes and carry them. The grass is wet, and makes a gross squelching sound when your feet meets the ground.

Soon enough a light can be seen, it's the barn. The path leads directly to the barn. Your dress is muddy, the beautiful peach color having turned into a gross black and brown color at the hems.

Your heart begins to pound as you begin to near the wooden structure. You debate turning around and going back to the house, or even trying to escape... but something compels you to continue.

The doors are shut, before they were wide open. Once you step onto the concrete in front of the doors, you wipe your feet on it. Trying to get the gross muddy feeling off, not accomplishing this. You take a moment to gather yourself, and grab the handles of one of the barn doors. Similarly to the house, the door is just as heavy. Your feet scrape against the ground as you pull on the door, causing them to bleed. Quickly you slip inside the door before it shuts on you. Your feet sting and your hands burn from the effort.

It stinks, it smells absolutely rancid. It smells like rotting bodi-...

Humans. Corpses. They hang from the ceiling upside down, being drained of their blood as farmers do with chickens. The ground is covered in blood, a puddle of it that you could swim in. Some people are pinned against boards or walls, just as Jesus was. There's a large bin in the back where bodies are piled into, hands and feet and legs and arms hanging out of it.

The smell is overwhelming. The sight is overwhelming. You fall to your knees and hang your head back, looking at all the nude corpses. Mortifying. Their faces seem to hang off of their head, as if they're melting. Well, those of them that still have faces. Some are blue and purple, some are missing arms. There arms hanging down from the bodies, as if reaching out to someone for help.

Who could do such a thing. What man would do such a horrible thing. You fall forward, holding yourself up on all fours. There's a pile of hair underneath you, and can feel the bile rising in your throat. You can't help it, everything you've eaten in the past week comes pouring out. But at least it smells better than the bodies.

A hand pats your back, and weakly you turn your head to look up. There, 'Illumi' stands, watching you with emotionless eyes.

He looks at the travesty in front of him and back at you. "It would have been best that you stay in the house." He walks forward, and reaches out, touching the hand of one of the hanging corpses. He grips the hand and rips it off of the body, but there's no blood left in that body to come out. It's bloated and diseased, but he throws it into the bin of bodies.

"Go to bed. I will send breakfast and medicinal herbs to your room in the morning." Before waiting for an answer or a reaction, he leaves, leaving you leaning over your own puke.

You would stuff your face in the puke if that meant not smelling the rot anymore. Instead you hurry out of the barn and collapse on the concrete. 'Oh god, oh god please spare me' repeats in your head. It can only get better, right?
