He is adorable! Sometimes he gives off awkward little boy vibes, and other times he's a tough guy, like when he punches and kicks his way through a whole inn of people. He steals hats from defeated red guards, he gives fencing tips to the king, he's my special little guy and I want more people to know about him

Dart-In-Again - Max Linder L'Etroit Mousquetaire/ The Three Must-Get-Theres 1922

Best version, I don't know, but definitely a solid parody! Made in 1922, starring Max Linder it takes all the beats of the classic plot and gives it the silent movie comedy twist. This D'Artagnan is strangely not that bad at Musketeering! His duel against Rochefort is based on a lot of running for his life, sure, but he can fight when needed! His mustache is iconic because its Max Linder and his outfit is on point! Shining moments of this adaptation include : bonking Richelieu (Poorelieu) on the head with a big hammer, and the Three Musketeers all sleeping in the same bed and jumping on their horses while sliding a pole like firefighters. Iconic I say. And you can watch the whole thing on Wikipedia!
