So, I think I've figured out why, out of all the powerful demons in Hell, Vox is SO focused on Alastor.
It's because he needs a nemesis from a time before water guns were mass produced and widely known about, who also hasn't bothered keeping up with the times. Otherwise, it would be over in seconds.
Like, any 90's kid would take one look at Vox's head and just go "Alright, imma go grab my super soaker."

Akunda vs Kimbul
So I’ve had to postpone a bunch of projects  because I just, don’t have enough time. But there is a headcanon explored on the Kaia comic that I really wanted to share and talk about with others, so I’m gonna go ahead and just do that XD
I think that the Temples and cults of Akunda and Kimbul on the desert of Vol’dun are not there despite it being a place for criminals, but actually take a function there because of it. Let me explain!
So, for starters, I always found it curious that Akunda was stated to be the Loa of Storms and new beginings (edited for correction), and took away the painful memories of those who asked for it in his temple. Like, weirldy convenient that people that are sent to this place because of their “mistakes” or wrongdoings can just, forget about them.
Then on the Temple of Kimbul you have his teachings written on a visible spot and being very focused on courage, strength of will, not thinking you’re above nature, and just generally very noble values? And I’m assuming those are the ones the followers held when the Temple was inhabited.
And there is their placement on the map. Here I put my character on the entrance of each temple, in front of each Loa, and then compared.
Tumblr media
It gave to me the impression that they were possitioned opposites of each other both geographically and also “morally”? As in, if we follow the logic of the Temples being there because of the outlaws, in one place they’d be forgetting their past pain and starting anew, while on the other they’d be faced with a specific set of morals that could revolve about facing their wrongdoings and rectifying them. Like, imagine rehabilitation.
Runing away from your mistakes vs facing them, sort of metaphor
(Obviously the out of game, IRL reason as to why the lessons of kimbul are so visible is for the player to have clues to complete the shrine of the ring quest, and Akunda erases memories to have to recover them for an important character, but I’m jsut havig fun here so xD)
Although, I don’t think all of the outlaws that Zuldazar sent to Vol’dun would go to either of the temples, nor all the people living in those temples would have been criminals. There’s always exceptions and variety.  We also don’t exactly know what crimes entail banishment to Vol’dun, and if you know about caste social systems you know some ““crimes”“ can be bullshit, so... I won’t speculate on that end.
There’s also an object called [Chain of Exemption] that implies you can only leave Vol’dun with a special permit, so I’m guessing an exiled couldn’t easily leave Vol’dun, or maybe could never leave, but life on the temples is a better alternative than the desert for sure (this item was added on shadowlands though).
The fall of the temple of Kimbul must have upset the balance at some point, given how he refused to accept new followers until the last ones were avenged. And we don’t know when exactly the Sethrak started to turn hostile (I didn’t consider Sethraliss in this equation because I couldn’t find a Troll follower of her in game), so this is a headcanon I have of the past of Vol’dun, and not of current. It gets a bit more explored in the comic as I say, but this is the gist of it ^^
What do you think, too far fetched? Maybe some of it makes sense? Let me know xD
Also, noticed the modus operandi of the Naga when it comes to Kimbul and Gral? Kill their followers while the Loa is away, leave their temple in ruins? What’s that about, are we gonna get more of Naga vs Trolls in the future? I think I’ll have to make another post regarding that.

Who's Jackie ex partner?
That'd be a man named Gunther.
Jackie is a fake changeling, she uses a modified glamor mask to pretend to be human, it was a rough road but she figured it all out. However, she began to date a man, and long story short he was an obsessive and insane person, and tried to kill her so no one else could have her, that's how she found out Gunther was a real changeling.
He's been hunting her ever since, trying to catch her in public or private. I have a headcanon that trolls born with firey, copper colored hair are called Firemanes, and they're considered very rare and very powerful within magical standards as they were hunted given the magical properties of their bodies. Gunther knows this, he knows how rare they are, and because of it he's obsessed with catching her so he can keep her all to himself. It's definitely not pretty.

It's here! The first fic from the Weasel Den Emergency Fundraiser!
I know my trolls aren't exactly super popular, but I hope that the few people who do enjoy them appreciate the little extra content
This time we're back on Vrede's story, catching her as she tries to find shelter in the last safe haven she might find in the Troll Lands
(also the Mountain King is a lady in this, because women who use the title of king are absolutely fucking amazing)
The mountain range stretched as far as the eye could see, like a grand wall built by the gods themselves. It curled around the southern borders of the Giant Lands, though some groups of frost and storm giants still lived even further south, in the frozen lands beyond.
Built into this natural wonder were many gates, each leading into the many cities of the mountain and fire giants. Though the grandest of all gates - built to fit even the divine father of giantkind - was made by a troll.
Lyral, the Mountain King. The leader who brought all giants, trolls, and ogres together under the same banner. The architect who built their people a grand fortress to keep them safe from the small folk invaders, and inside it a capital worthy of only the greatest of kings.
The woman who would bring them a brighter future.
That was centuries ago.
Now the Halls of the Mountain King - as the city had become known - was a home to giants and small folk alike, a celebrated beacon of their peace and unity.
Some saw this as simply letting the small folk steal their lands after all this time, but for others - others like Vrede - it was a safe haven for those who could not find their home among either people.
Perhaps among fire giants, tieflings, and other horned trolls like her, perhaps there Vrede would find acceptance, maybe even a home.
So she now walked those halls, climbing the grand staircase that led into the capital, in the blind hope that maybe here she won’t have to run, or hide.
Even still she dared not show her face, her features hidden under a hood that only allowed her horns to show, and her body covered in a ragged cloak.
Her left arm - the arm that had destroyed her master - was left bandaged. A dozen blistering burns had emerged in the weeks she had spent traversing the lands. Even as she refused to let her fire free again, it just continued to spread, starting at the palm until her entire arm was nothing but seared skin.
And no one needed to see that.
So she pulled her cloak a little closer as she continued to march towards the halls. The sounds of the crowd above echoing through the long entrance tunnel as she went.
Above her a massive mural decorated the walls and ceiling. Retelling tales of the grand ancestors. The thunder slayer, the fae friend, the undying, the bridge builder, and of course, Vaprak and their seven daughters.
Vrede’s eyes singled out the middle daughter, the girl who dove into hell itself to find her father a cure, and returned changed.
She was the reason she had the horns, the red skin, the fire. All thanks to this one girl who traveled to hell and back. Though she wondered if maybe it would be best if her ancestor had stayed behind with her little sister all those millenia ago.
The murals ceased as she reached the main gate, two massive stone doors spread open before her, and beyond them a market square that could easily fit her entire village twice over.
Around her hill giants and frost giants set up their food stalls, trolls and mountain giants peddled their goods, and ogres and elves played their instruments for the crowd. People of all kinds gathered in one place, no one batting an eye at the other’s strangeness, even her own large horns and red skin barely standing out in the crowd.
As she walked further into the great hall that contained this entire section her eyes were drawn to the great statue at its center.
It stood taller than any troll or giant, a great stone pillar seeming to hold the ceiling aloft. Sculpted from the mountain itself with incredible precision and care, there stood Lyral, greater than all, still watching over her people.
Soon Vrede found herself walking towards the statue.
It was unlike anything she’d ever seen before. Sure, the stone workers of her old village were skilled, but none of them could have built something this massive, this detailed. Whoever was responsible for this deserved to be celebrated just as much as Lyral herself.
She reached the base of the statue, the richness of detail now perfectly clear to her. From the waviness of cloth, to the expression on her face, to the detailing of her crown and horns.
Horns.
The great Mountain King was a horned troll. A bearer of the flames of hell. A descendant of the middle daughter.
She was just like Vrede.
Then why did she get to become a king? Why did she get to be accepted and loved?
Why did Lyral get to be a hero?
Vrede was never given the chance.
She was always the villain, always the monster. She spent her whole life being told time and again that she was a danger to everyone. But this entire time their King, their greatest hero, had been just like her!
The sting returned to her arm, worse than before, so much worse. She could feel her skin boiling from the inside out.
She fell to her knees, the pain growing stronger and stronger by the second. She tried to cling to her burning arm, just to feel her bandages burn to ashes around it.
“Hey, are you okay?” Someone called, but she couldn’t see who it was.
Oh no.
No, no, no. Ancestors, please spare her.
She didn’t want this. She didn’t want anyone else to get hurt.
Suppress it. Keep it under control. Pull the flame into yourself and don’t let go.
The burning had reached her chest now. Her lungs full of smoke and her blood boiling in her heart.
But it wasn’t hurting anyone else. She wasn’t killing anyone else.
“She needs help!” That voice called again, more loudly this time.
Vrede hadn’t even noticed when she had collapsed to the floor, the stone under her threatening to melt.
“Somebody help!”
She couldn’t see anymore.
Vrede closed her eyes, and prayed silently to every god to please let this be over soon.
And then there was silence.

What could be more natural to such entrusted with Nature like Trolls happen to be--
--than to have sex on a regular basis, knowing that the sexual act is a manifestation of Nature such as Trolls are recognised as protectors of ... and actually enjoying it, even considering where sex is as much an agent of procreation as relaxation and fun?

Had a silly dream where JD and Floyd came back to the troll tree before the last trollstice but after singing killed their grandma and decided to doodle and expand upon it a bit
Clay never left the tree but was too scared to return to the families pod since he didn’t want things to go back to how they were before, he did try to find his brothers during the escape but got separated by the cave in.
John Dory was the one to find Clay and see him get caught by the cave in, when he came out of the tunnel without Clay and holding his wristband they all just assumed he was dead. Even so JD still searches for Clay with the hope that he might’ve escaped and is alive out there.
They know Bruce is alive but after JD got the post card he assumed Bruce didn’t want to be found
Some more doodles that kind of show their dynamic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also-
JD always brings home souvenirs for the brothers both as an apology for being gone for so long and also because of this:

Lovely Queens in Lovely Outfits
Tumblr media
Just the pop sisters Viva, Poppy and my oc Pippy in cute outfits i designed for them lol
Also, Pippy lore time!!!
Pippy was separated from Poppy like Viva was, however it was during the travel through the woods after escaping Bergen Town. Lost and alone, baby Pippy was found by a Bounty Hunter, an oc i will be making who's the only troll of his music, who took her in and raised her, as well as taught her combat and stealth.
When Pippy got older, she united the kingdomless trolls and bounty hunter trolls, like reggaeton, Kpop, Yodeling and Jazz amongst others, under her rule, which made her Queen Pippy of the miscellaneous trolls!
So all three girls are queens! Queen Viva of the Putt Putt trolls, Queen Poppy of the Pop trolls and Queen Pippy of the Miscellaneous trolls!!!
