I think this really sent me deeper into the feeling I got all season.

It's not that Mark S doesn't love Gemma and that Mark's love for her doesn't transcend Severance. It's that as it is, Mark S can't love Gemma because he was created to not love her.

The entire reason Mark S exists is because Mark desperately wanted to forget his love for Gemma. He wanted for there to be a part of him that kept on living while being blissfully ignorant of how much it hurts to lose the person you love the most in the entire world.

Even Mark himself, who has spent every waking day since he lost Gemma choking on her ghost, had to have a literal hole dug in his brain for his memories of Gemma to come washing over him. That's how deeply buried he has tried to keep her.

So it makes perfect sense to me that when Mark S sees Miss Casey, he may feel a little twinge of something he cannot understand. But Mark's love for Gemma doesn't bleed through because how could it? It would be going against the very reason for Mark S's existence.

But that doesn't mean that Mark S doesn't have the same Gemma-shaped hole that Mark lives with everyday on the outside world. Petey said so himself, that Mark's grief seeps through and that Mark S feels it down there, he just doesn't know what it is.

And what is grief if not love persevering, right?

So it also makes perfect sense to me that Mark S is unknowingly, unconsciously, fiercely filling that Gemma-shaped-hole with H.R. Because who is the woman most alike Gemma in the Severed floor? It's certainly not Miss Casey, nice but passive and almost robotic. It's fierce and real H.R, and the show showed us this through the parallels established between both women during Gemma's flashback episode.

Gemma was the center of Mark's universe. Without her, he was off-kilter. So it's only natural that Mark S has been swiftly turning H.R. into the center of his, because he's been off-kilter, too—he just never realized it before because he had nothing to compare that emptiness to.

Feyre did not need to have a child so soon. She has only been fae for about 3-4yrs, had so much trauma, and I understand wanting to move on but their practically immortal for godsake. Rhysand is 500+ years old, he has lived his life. What makes it worse is the character they deem young and constantly says is young is 80 yrs old💀. Feyre, Nesta and Elain are all in their 20s and using Sjm logic could be considered babies in fae years. And I know Cassian justifies it by being like, 'ur dad and mom had a similar age gap' but that doesnt make it any better.

They're all so young and are now a species that considers their current age young, why couldnt Sjm just let them live. Everything happens in a span of 4 years, they all clearly haven't enjoyed life cuz they spent their teen yrs being broke and struggling, now that they have funds let them use it. The IC shamed Nesta for not coping a way that they liked, yet proceed to talk about the fact that Mor drinks like crazy and Cassian, Rhys and Azriel went wilding with one another. I just want these girls to live, let Nesta buy 15 bookstores, let Feyre travel the courts to see different art pieces, let Elain travel to see the native plants of other courts, just let them LIVEE.

Elain doesnt have to bother with picking between Azriel or Lucien for the next 40 yrs, Feyre could relax and have Nyx in the next 80 (hopefully by then they discover C-sections), Nesta could focus on the Valkyries for next 100yrs before focusing on Cassian. Let them explore, let travel, let them heal, outside of the Night Court, let them discover themselves.

LET THEM BE GIRLS. Give the girlhood they never had, let the people outside of their mates.

Thinking about Mina's relationship with Ford, and how she'd probably be a little bit intimidated by him at first. After all the stuff she heard about her brother doing to him, she'd probably be terrified of doing anything or saying anything that might upset him or bring back bad memories for him.

I think Ford probably has similar fears at first, but also he spends like five minutes with her and goes 'Okay, this kid is the polar opposite of Bill. That doesn't mean I'm going to just trust her willy nilly, but also she's about as soft as a baby mouse and is clearly stressed out about stressing ME out so now I've gotta focus on finding a way to help her relax.'

She's so different from little fanboy Dipper or hyperactive Mabel; so reserved and only answering questions instead of asking ones she desperately wants to ask him. I imagine there's a period of time where they just calmly and casually ask each other things about their lives and dimensions, slowly working to the bigger stuff. There's probably less of that stress with Stanley, hence why she probably ends up latching onto him a lot quicker. That and the whole 'reminds her of Bill' thing. Like she does adore Ford, but I do love imagining her spending a lot of time with Stanley as well. He's the kinda guy you want to give a baby mouse-coded girl to and see him struggle to try and like. Not make any sudden or loud moves and just see how gentle he can be with her. But then it turns out she ENJOYS how loud and rambunctious he can be, because those things are what she loved about her brother!
