So anyway I hate read the Hollows series every year or so and it has become a comfort read somehow (don’t ask bc I don’t know why) and I���ve never read the the fucking prequel until now and??????? Spoilers under the cut lol

Nobody was gonna tell me Trent caused the fucking plague that killed most of the humans in the world because he’s a petty, violent misogynist????????????? Hello??

Like obviously he isn’t a good guy he literally put Rachel in a cage and then made her fight a death match as a small animal and also tried to hunt her down like a fox in the hunt but like? He killed? Most of the people in the world? Some of the vampires?? Some of the elves, who were already at risk of extinction? To best the girl he relentlessly bullied in school? After he already destroyed her career?

And then we’re supposed to like him????? I?

What’s worse than fucking the house? Because that’s what he did!

Chapter 13

“It’s good to see you again, Captain . . .”

“Weast.”

I'm just thinking about that Spongebob joke. “Oh east. I thought you said weast.”

By the lack of information coming from Ivy, it was a good bet that the I.S. Knew what was going on and was sitting this one out. They knew all the victims had similar auras, but had suppressed the knowledge.

THEY DO THAT WITH EVERYTHING. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU SURPRISED?!

“Glenn is right. If Weast decides you’re a threat, he might try to put you in the cell next to the zombies.”

Chapter 13 summary: Trent, Rachel, and Jenks go to the coffee shop to meet up with Glenn, who is randomly back in town. (He had a weird relationship with Ivy and it sent him packing to Arizona. He hasn't been seen or heard from since.)

As they're waiting, Rachel tells him that Dali wants an introduction to one of the Rosewood babies. Trent says that he feels bad about what he did about those babies, how he almost killed them to keep them from the demons. But he says that Dali is probably using it to boost the status of all of the demons, and thinks that the parents could benefit from a relationship with Dali as well. Rachel points out that it's only Al and Dali who live in their world, while the rest of the demons are watching to see what happens.

Glenn shows up, along with a man that they've seen before. He gave Trent and Rachel a memory blocker about their help with the human-based supernatural-hate group, but thanks to their time at the youth camp when they were younger, that stuff doesn't work on them anymore. His name is Weast, and okay there Patrick Star.

Anyway, the baku belongs to this hate group, and when the lines went down when Landon was mucking around with shit, it got out. Except that these pretentious a-holes are too proud to accept Rachel's help when they offered it. Because racism.

Before they leave, Rachel guilts Glenn into what he's doing, saying that his father would not approve. But they're worried that they might try to capture the lot of them before they leave town.

Chapter 14

“Trent!” I shouted, but I don’t think the word made it past my lips as Hodin yanked me into a ley line, and I was nothing more than a thought.

Chapter 14 summary: After the almost usual padding about Rachel sitting around and doing jack-all that relates to the plot, she sits down with Trent to discuss the book's plot. They talk about using the same kind of soul jar to capture the baku, but they aren't sure that it'll work since it's more of a build-up of energy than an actual soul. They also talk about how Weast is walking around with a ley-line dampening amulet, but they aren't sure that it's going to work on the baku, since it's getting energy from the host.

Trent then reads some passages from his mother's journal, which sounds suspiciously like what they're currently going through. However, Rachel notes that several pages were torn out. And Trent confirms this, and says that if they did manage to capture the baku, then the knowledge of how to do so is gone now.

He notices a ring on Rachel's finger, one that Hodin had given her. They talk about the possibility of Rachel shifting her aura so that the baku isn't attracted to her. Rachel tries to use the ring to contact Hodin, but when he doesn't respond, she says a lot of nasty things about him. But then he shows up in pixie form, and drags Rachel into the new ever-after.

Three ships: This took me some time lol but besides Spuffy which I'm not even gonna mention because it's obvious by now:

I guess it's Kisten Phelps x Rachel Morgan (The Hollows), Anna x Hao (Shaman King) and Yeon-Joo x Kang Chul (W: Two Worlds)

I added some honorable mentions to: Rachel Morgan x Trent Kalamack (i'm still unsure about this lol but i do love them because it wasn't love at first sight but it progressed slowly~), Inuyasha x Kagome (Inuyasha) and Tomoe x Nanami (Kamisama Kiss)

First Ship: lol it's so difficult but I guess the one that made me go down really badly was Hao x Anna (Shaman King) which was the reason I started to write fanfics, and the reason I decided to become a fashion designer (still working on this), and basically the reason I'm most of the person I'm right now~

Also I would add Kisten x Rachel because this ship was the one that made me love jazz and blues... and cured my depression in so many ways it made me go back to write and to start learning languages, and many other things. I didn't even think that was possible. Rachel Morgan is kind of... well is a redhead version of me lol we have a lot of things in common tbh~ even the way she acts it's 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣😭 yes, that's me. I wish I could say it's getting better and I'm less impulsive but sometimes I crave chaos I guess? Dunno~

Last Movie: I've been into series lately but the kast movie I saw was, A Man Called Otto (I loved it and I'm gonna make a brief review on it soon~ it was on HBO Max but it's not anymore~ if you can catch it, watch it. You'll never regret it. It's very sweet♡)

Currently Watching: True Blood. Yeah~ I haven't finished yet lol mid season 5 of True Blood, watching Law School again~, just finished with Spinning Out series like yesterday~, Mr. Queen. Yes. Still watching. I'm on episode 18 so I'll be finishing this ine pretty quickly. Went back to Crash Landing On You because it's the thing that makes me swoon lol.... add Gossip Girl because it's good noise to work with lolol

Why does he do that? by Lundy Bancroft, and Grimm's Fairytales (ADHD is real lol) I cannot focus on just one book cause I get distracted and easily bored by reading these books... although gotta be honest, my main issue is that I'm doing this as part of my studies, which makes my ADHD worsen.

I need these books, and while I'm reading I'm also taking notes~~~ and I'm also thinking on many ways to quote and use these on the videos I'm working rn... and I'm currently working on at least 6 videos, and my future streaming... sooooooo yeah lol my ADHD is crazy and I need to read several things at the same time rn.

Did I mentioned i'm gonna get some tests tomorrow? So I'm in middle of my fasting~~ and it's one of those things, like, you know when you are fasting all by yourself because you want to lose some pounds, it's easier than when doctors say you're not allowed to eat. You keep craving on everything. Actually I wasn't that hungry earlier on. Until it was already past the hour of eating LOL i'm kinda starving and craving everything~ tomorrow is gonna be so annoying cause I have a lot of tests done.

The only fun part is to watch the process. I keep freaking out everyone because I tend to watch while they poke me to draw blood. But it's fun~~ \\^♡^//

But the ship I will count as the real first is Ichigo x Rukia (Bleach), because above two are the kid me testing the waters (of fandom and shipping) and not actually shipping them.

Last movie: Uh...what was it... Oh. It's a South Korean film called Hijack 1971. A good one. It's about a commercial pilot whose plane got hijacked and forced to go to North Korea. I knew about it happening but didn't know it wasn't a one time thing.

Witch With No Name Chapters 25 & 26

Chapter 25

“Manual it is,” the vampire said, and with a soft grunt, she planted a side kick on the lock, exploding the door inward.

Chapter 25 summary: They all go to what's apparently the only hotel in Cincinnati (which considering that there's apparently one coffee shop, it checks out). Like most of this series, there's a lot of stuff that's going on, but it's like “Nina whines for five paragraphs about not having a gun” and “Jenks complains about old-school technology and how he can't get in”. It's pointless and adds nothing to the plot.

Trent and Rachel go into the room where Ellie and Landon are supposed to be staying with the kidnapped Lucy. However, in the room they find Ellie tied up, and spitting mad. She basically regurgitates Landon's evil plot, but the others are unimpressed because they figured it out ages ago. For some reason, despite the book constantly wanking off about how Lucy is a seat of power, Landon left her unsupervised in the room with Ellie. This allows mother and daughter to escape while Trent and Rachel go face down Landon.

Chapter 26

That probably wasn’t going to go over very well.

Chapter 26 summary: They fight Landon and his supporters. Despite everything, and if only because there's still a few more chapters left, the lines start to collapse anyway.

...That's it. That's literally the entire goddamned chapter. I am so fucking tired of this series. I don't give a fuck anymore.

Characters Whose Job I Wish I Had

(maybe not even because the job sounds fun, but maybe the co-workers are cool or the boss is hot?)

Daisy’s Run (The Clockwork Chimera #1)

I’d like to be Daisy I think she is a cool character and she has an interesting job on a spaceship that’s heading back to earth.

Synopsis: Life in deep space could be a drag sometimes, but Daisy supposed things could have been worse. They were still alive, after all, which was always a plus in her book. Now if only she could figure out who, or what, was endangering her return home, things would be just peachy.

It had been one hell of a way to start the day––being rudely snapped from a deep cryo-sleep, and in the middle of a ship-wide crisis to boot––but Daisy was pleased to note that the ship had not decompressed, the crew hadn’t been blasted into space, and, most importantly, they hadn’t simply blown up. At least not yet. So, they had that going for them, but being stuck on a damaged ship in the inky depths of space as it limped toward Earth was not exactly the relaxing trip home she’d imagined.

With the powerful AI supercomputer guiding the craft beginning to show some disconcerting quirks of its own, and its unsettling cyborg assistant nosing into her affairs, Daisy’s unease was rapidly growing. Add to the mix a crew of mechanically-enhanced humans, any one of whom she suspected might not be what they seemed, and Daisy found herself with a sense of pending dread tickling the periphery of her mind.

Something was very much not right––she could feel it in her bones. The tricky part now was going to be figuring out what the threat was, before it could manifest from a mere sinking feeling in her gut into a potentially deadly reality.
