"Transandrophobia isn't real"

A few years back my grandparents and I wanted to see a gynecologist for reasons, I was under 18, but every gynecologist that worked with minors refused to take trans boys. I haven't had a single bit of medical transition unless you count birth control. I have a vagina and boobs. Everything about my body is female but I was denied care because my hair was short and I had a deeper voice.

And when I tried explaining this to a transphobe they went "Well yeah they don't want mentally ill people"

My exclusion was based off of me being too masculine. Y'know, the thing that transandrophobes claim doesn't exist?

Transmascs go through the same shit transfems do. Transandrophobes need to stop shitting on us to feel superior and get a fucking life.

Cissexist bigots see trans people as failing both binary sex-gender roles, due to not being women assigned female or men assigned male. But importantly, they aren't trying to get us to fit the role of our actual gender, they prefer to bar us from it entirely.

They want those that they see as transmasculine to fit the female role, and those that they see as transfeminine to fit the male role. We are punished on that basis. I have seen so many people act as though trans men are only ever seen as queer men and trans women as queer women by cis transphobes. I’m truly sorry to tell you this, as I wish it wasn’t the case too, but transphobes very frequently do not believe we are our actual genders.

#nuance: you can be trans and a man assigned male/woman assigned female!! e.g. bigender intersex nby & so many other diverse folks exist #but honestly they typically lump us into one category or another (basically transmasc or basically transfem) regardless of how we identify #cissexism #transandrophobia #transmisogyny #exorsexism #transphobia #antisexism #transfeminism #misogyny #ase

What some people don't realize is that some trans people don't know they were trans as kids, but not for the reasons you might think...

Like when I was a kid, I would watch movies with women in them and I'd be like, "okay, I guess I'm a straight guy. These are very heterosexual feelings," and that was the end of it. What I didn't think was that that made me trans, because as far as I cared, I started life as a straight little boy.

and nothing will stop me from spreading that joy
