So with corrective running shoes the way it works is that they make you run on a treadmill and take stills of the way you walk and how your feet hit the ground and all that. Then based on that they recommend different shoes that have support where you need it. And these shoes *can* train the muscles so if you wear them regularly you might not need them in the future because they've fixed the problem.
When I first started running and did my first gait test I rolled my feet out, so I got shoes with support on the outer side to force my foot to hit the ground flat.
My second time doing the gait test I hit flat, no correction needed so I got a neutral shoe
Now, my third time doing and I roll my feet in. What the fuck?

I was drawn in by the allure of 20 dollar concert tickets... I've now spent way too much money and im not even at the concert yet
#not on the concert itself#but its across the state so i had to get a hotel for the night#then i decided to do a little shopping that i cant do where i live#specifically i needed new running shoes#and i have to get them from a specific place because i have to wear corrective shoes#so they have to do a gait test and all that stuff#and that cost me nearly 300 dollars#but i needed them#because my old ones are falling apart#and i wear them to work also#so theyre important#at least i just got paid
