Guys??? I'm crying??? I was too shy to write down a my name, but still! It's beautiful. The people who ran the stand were amazing. Me and my siblings each got a Spritekin, which are these little buddies that the fae put magic in for us. They don't have names untill you adopt them, and if you can't think of a name, they bring out a jar of little papers that have the names from the book.

This is mine, his name is Billy. I named him myself. I adopted him because he had a mad face, and I was scared no one else was gonna adopt him because of it.

This is my little brother's Spritekin. His name is Berry. Berry got his name from the jar. He has a broken arm, but that's okay. If you break the Spritekin, you can take them back to the Keepers, who can fix them!

It was just another couple of hours of waiting for the next game when Cael had to use the toilet and he begrudgingly pushed himself up.

"Had a feeling. You also left your knife behind, which confused me," He replied. "I may be high, but I'm not stupid."

Cael just laughed, putting his glasses on. "Definitely not. Now to do what i came in here to do and shit."

Buck and Eddie are two masculine men who are best friends and are falling in love. Buck is now confirmed as bi and I believe Eddie is gay.

People make fun of Glee. However at the time it was considered progressive. Glee had gay, lesbian, bi and trans representation.

Glee was actually one of the first mainstream stories where a trans character was play by a trans actor. If anyone remember the character Unique. Yes there were some stereotypes but it also shows representation that were not stereotypes. There was an obvious bipobia issue in the show. There were feminine queer women and masculine queer men. Also butch and flamboyant girls and boys exist and deserve representation. It was a happy queer show with some drama and it was for teenagers, kids and taught them about themselves and different types of people.

tgirl lindsay and lesbian beth take ezekiel to pride he learns abt trans people (hes been transgender his whole life)

Taking this prompt and running it through my oblivious transmasc Ezekiel headcanon.

Lindsay and Beth adoopt Zeke into their social circle to teach him about the world outside of his farm in a healthier way than whatever media he'd been exposed too after his Island elimnation did. In doing so they come to find out that he has literally no idea about anything LGBTQIA+ - he didn't know people could be attracted to the same sex, let alone not identify with their assigned at birth gender.

It's safe to say, Ezekiel is given a very educational rundown by Beth. He doesn't have any issues with the idea though, and easily accepts Beth's sexuality. The two of them are almost impressed that his father's misogynistic rhetoric wasn't also homophobic, but they logisticise it by assuming his dad was so against anything non-cishet that he declined to mention it at all.

It isn't until Beth starts explaining gender as a concept that Ezekiel starts realising things; at first the girls are a little concerned that he's so focused on the biological discrepancies between sex and gender, but when he reveals that he's got "girl parts" (which is news to him too, thanks to his homeschool education) Beth's quick to connect the dots.

She quickly and quietly lets Lindsay know what's happening, and the girls settle in to help Ezekiel through his oncoming crisis. Lindsay's very relieved to know that Ezekiel won't be holding any transphobic views, since his taught misogyny was difficult enough to overcome.

Except there isn't one, really. He's a boy. He always has been, and being trans instead of cis doesn't change that. In the same way that Lindsay and Beth are girls.

Ezekiel is a simple lad of simple beliefs, and to be entirely honest a lot of the terms Beth tried to teach him goes way over his head, but he gets the general gist of it.

And he's over the moon when they invite him to his first pride parade! He gets his face painted to match Lindsay with the pink, blue and white stripes despite not really knowing the significance of it, he's just happy to be included! He meets a tonne of new friends who wave around their multicoloured flags with so much happiness that he can't help but share their glee!

The other day this really cute trans girl I've been talking to on Discord said in passing that I have "a really cute voice" and I can't stop replaying it in my head and kicking my little legs in glee.

Specifically we were in a voice call with a few other people and she said (in reference to a friend who's been too shy to talk on mic because of their vocal dysphoria, as I was just a few days earlier), "Well Fib was too shy to talk on VC and she has a really cute voice, so I bet [x] has a cute voice too." And my heart fluttered for a second.

I have such vocal dysphoria that for the first two years of socially transitioning I did not show my voice to anyone that didn't already know me before my transition. I've just recently started coming out of my shell and talking to people on voice calls, first with my gf and then that got me comfortable with talking others that I don't know as well. It has been immensely validating to meet other women who like me not in spite of but often specifically because of my voice.

They have not seen pictures of me, and they know I'm early in transition and haven't done much to change my presentation, so I know they're not imagining me as some idealized model. All they have to go on is my voice and my personality, and time and time again, based on that alone, they are attracted to me.

Though I probably will in the future, I haven't done any voice training. I will occasionally change my inflection a bit, but when relaxed and speaking in casual conversation, it's just the same deep voice I've always had and always hated. I’m a 15 year old guy, masc presenting when I can, fem presenting when I have to. I’m bi, asexual, and have a preference towards men, but I think if I were a girl I would be more inclined towards women. In my personal opinion, I’m a faggot in every universe.

I’m going into 10th grade and I’ve been single for the past year. I had one brief talking stage with a trans girl I was friends with, but it went no where because of her mental health. I had a crush, well, less of a crush, an infatuation with my friend, but she’s straight and I only girlmode around her, so that’s a dead end. In 8th grade, I had 3 boyfriends. All of them were physically and emotionally abusive and one SA’d me frequently, so this is all to say, I’ve been through some shit, but I think despite this I’m a hopeless romantic.

With all the factors below, the three things I have to hate the most as infantilization, feminization, and purely sexual/physical relationships. That’s not to say it’s wrong, to each their own, like what you like…but I hate it.

I couldn’t imagine myself falling in love with someone that isn’t my best friend that I can playfight and be an asshole with, so imagine my fucking surprise when I get to see two masculine punk dudes call eachother fags and fall in love. I applaud Shameless.

Despite the shit they’ve been through, Mickey and Ian have the relationship I can only dream of. Straight men treat me like a girl and so many gay/bi guys want Heartstopper/Love Simon/Glee love stories. This isn’t to say those stories don’t carry weight, they definitely do, but I’m sick of it.

Trump coming back to the US presidency and the rise of authoritarian regimes all around the world had me thinking about humanity's nature and our future as a species.

I do believe that humans aren't either wholly good, or wholly evil, but fundamentally selfish. This is horrible to say, but I'm used to our species' propensity to commit atrocities in the name of selfishness.

"It befits me and I won't be seriously punished because of that" explains most of the horrors of the 20th century and beyond.

It's the type of banal evil that exists everywhere and we are already used to it. Nothing to see here.

But there's one type of evil I will never be able to understand. An evil that is beyond mere selfishness. An evil that defies all rationality. The evil that only tangentially benefits the perpetrators. The evil of feeling pleasure from people's misery.

It's not vengeful rage, like when you finally inflict pain back on someone who hurt you before, although many people try to frame it as this to avoid feeling worse about themselves. It's about inflicting harm on a helpless person, just to see their pain and suffering, just to feel a sadic glee that you have power over this poor person's life.

It's not about using cruelty to get what you want. It's about already winning, about already getting everything you wanted and still wanting to inflict harm on others, because their pain is worth more than achieving your goals.

I will cite an example. In Brazil it came to the news a couple years back that a vineyard from the south used slave labor. They tricked innocent and desperate men into working there and then imprisoned them into sub-human conditions. It's sad, but this is the type of cruelty I'm already used to. But here's the catch. Workers from the Northeast region, a poorer region of the country, were treated much harshly and more cruelly than the slaved workers from other regions. They were personally insulted and beaten, which didn't happen with the other slaved workers.

The vineyard already had their slaves, they already had won, but they still tortured a few of them for no other reason than to be extra cruel.

I can understand and I am already used to the rational cruelty, but the animalistic one when you are moved by sincere desire to hurt and main is something that will never fail to horrify me.

Trump's goons are moved by a sincere desire to do harm. Yes, he has some useful idiots that sincerely believe he will help the economy. But so many in his movement are very vocal about how they don't care if he destroys the US economy, if he makes everything costly, or if he severely reduces the GDP, as long as he puts the immigrants, and the blacks, and the jews, and the gays, and trans back in their place.

It's no longer "It's the economy stupid", it's "I don't care about the economy as long as they suffer".

Explain to me how to train little boys to say to girls "your body, my choice" is anything more than an irrational and savage desire to inflict harm.

Trump brings the worst of people and tells them that they should be proud of their awfulness. And the American people rewarded him for that.

Not just in the United States but everywhere where far-right rhetoric is growing, these movements are moved by nothing more than a deep desire to harm people they hate.

Make no mistake, these creatures aren't moved by material needs. These are just excuses they find to seduce the useful idiots and to show a false veneer of respectability. If they can't find dissatisfaction, they will create it. And once in power, they are more than willing to burn their countries to inflict psychopathic harm on the people they despise.

With climate change getting more intense and deadlier, and with several global conflicts on the edge of exploding, I don't know how we can survive a movement whose entire ethos is "Be as cruel as you possibly can. We can find a justification".

We have centuries of religious and secular art showing us what evil is, and we still have people today wholeheartedly embracing the most openly irrational and proud form of evil.

I just have to wonder if decency and reasonability are truly dead. If people still can have basic empathy and common sense. If we can stop humans from destroying themselves, or at least to survive the great calamities to come.

Have hope my friends, it's the only thing we have, because darker times are coming.
