For people who haven't seen them these are the current Sheep Tokens (I messed up on the white one, those masks didn't have the arch whoops! Have to make another one with the proper markings I guess.) The goal is to eventually do ones that look more like the current masks (and maybe eventually make some more detailed ones with beading/fancy details) + Espera (Esheepra)
It's been a bit since I made an update, but! I'm working on another one of this style right now and will probably do another for practice and then try my hand on the current masks? Maybe? We'll see, haha.

#Having a great time btw I've just been chased across a near sea of miasma by stal riders and more! 10/10 nearly died in a high speed chase#Made it out relatively unscathed which is truly amazing lmao#Spoilers ahead: I have had the funniest time doing the great plateau quest chain. Once I sucked it up and made nice with the creepy statue.#He's(?) been alright. Fair trader. Good deals. I've mostly been terrorising kohga in between absolutely failing to craft working vehicles X#His new boss fights are so much easier than the first one lol. Less fun I'll admit but the music is groovy. You can probably make a#Machine and try and dog fight him but with few exceptions the turning circles are decrepit so I just stuck to mild dodging and shooting him#And running over to hit him some more. Kinda bland for a boss fight I'll say. Could have done with a lot more pizazz. I noticed they changed their Spotify profile pic to just the three of them. I get that Charlie isn’t in the band anymore, but it just feels wrong on so many levels.
And you made a good point about that physical gap between Mick and Keith in the photo and how they would probably end up calling it quits if something happened to Mick or Keith. I honestly think they would continue on without Ronnie if it came to that, sadly. I just have so many feelings about this.

What’s up with Fear and Hunger? You’re the second person I’ve seen blogging about it and I’m curious. It’s a video game - is it difficult or scary?
It's both!
Fear and Hunger is a survival horror game masking itself as an RPG. It kind of has a similar vibe to Pathologic, if you're familiar with it? Both games gained cult following due to how difficult and unforgiving they are, although to be honest, a lot of the difficulty in Fear and Hunger comes from not knowing what you're doing when you first start playing. That's very much on purpose - the game doesn't explain shit. As a result, you die a lot (especially if you try to play the game like a normal RPG), but each run helps you to gain a bit more knowledge of how the game, its world and the enemies operate, making each successive run slightly easier and more efficient.
The first game in the series is a dungeon crawler heavily inspired by Berserk, while the second game is a weird mix of a post-WWII setting, a battle royale premise, and eldritch horror (although that last one is also very much present in the first game). Both games are very brutal and come with a ton of content warnings, but they're also made in the RPGMaker, so you know. Personally, I found that due to the weird stylised look of RPGMaker games, the graphic violence never felt like too much, even if the acts being depicted were in themselves brutal/disturbing.
If you'd like to find out more and enjoy long video essays, I'd recommend Super Eyepatch Wolf's video on the game! It's what made me fall into a rabbit hole of watching playthroughs/videos about the lore of Fear and Hunger, which in turn really got me into the game's story and made me want to play it myself. I'm currently playing the second game in the series and having a lot of fun with it!
#the first game is also what made me finally start reading berserk#shock and surprise: berserk good!#personal#the lore is really what got me into fear and hunger#each character has their own compelling backstory#the world and the mythology of its many gods is fully realised#and the worldbuilding/storytelling is build into the mechanics of the game in such a way#that any new info you get feels precious and interesting and not like an info dump#the fact that reading books about the world in-game can often help you get better items and abilities#and that you only get these books at random and if you successfully win a coin toss#also helps with making the lore feel like it's central to the game/a reward and not only some neat background detail#fear and hunger

I had yet another long, strenuous day yesterday and didn't finish work until super late and then I couldn't fall asleep until well past 2am cuz I was in so much pain from standing literally all day
#what made it worse was the client I spent most of my day with was a brand new client. and she booked super last minute#so I wasnt mentally prepared for doing a 5 hour color. and her natural hair was already pretty light so I had to foil foil foil. go back.#pull out first couple foils. foil foil foil. go back. pull out the next few.#over and over and over.#and her hair was so fucking long. and so fucking thick.#and after the first hour she wouldn't talk. like I like my silence so I don't fight it much#but every now and then I would try to engage with her. I'd say something and she would straight up ignore me. no acknowledgment.#which makes me feel anxious cuz it's like jesus... does she hate me?? did I piss her off somehow?#even when I finished her hair (it looked fucking amazing no lie. one of my best highlights yet.) she had next to no reaction to it#she was like 'it looks fine. I mean good. it's good.' completely deadpan#I laughed it off and was like yeah it's been a long day girl! but it looks amazinggg on you!!#no response. deep inhale. alright.#whatever tho.#when I did finally get off work I stopped @ bojangles cuz I was lightheaded and hadn't eaten since morning#and when I tell you I almost broke down into tears cuz there were so many people crowding the goddamn pickup area.#and so many bizarre conversations going on. genuinely felt like I was in some form of hell#like my feet hurt. my back hurts. I'm tired. I didn't get the validation I like to have over a 5 hour transformative color.#I'm hungry and there are two elderly women blocking the pickup counter. one is hard of hearing so she keeps yelling HUH???#and the other only speaks in soft baby whispers. that goes as well as you can imagine.#there's a man behind me grilling an employee abt whether or not he goes to church. he starts witnessing to him#and the employee says 'I've never thought about it like that before' no less than 4 times.#there's a child in front of me playing tiktoks @ full volume. and this is all happening simultaneously.#I really considered just leaving without my food but I knew I needed to eat and didnt have anything at home so I stuck it out#was it worth it? no. bojangles honestly sucks these days but what's a girl gonna do.#got home and tried to pass out but nope. tossed and turned all night.#put on hot n cold patches to try to soothe the pain a little. didn't work cuz one pain would be eased a bit and another pain would take over#blahhhhhh#and now. I get to do it all over again! yippeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

How would you recommend new mutuals break the ice?
that's actually such a good question anon, because I'll admit that I haven't made breaking the ice easy over the last few months while I've been trying to get my drafts under control.
I do try to like starter calls that new mutuals post as I can, or send memes myself when I notice prompts that work, but in terms of others breaking the ice... memes or replying to random open starters I post are usually your best bet. I haven't been reblogging a ton of memes recently, but I'm planning to change that and try reblogging and answering them more casually to encourage ice breaking! I've also been considering posting a new starter call soon, but even then... I work a lot better with meme prompts than coming up with random scenarios lmao
you're also always welcome to simply reach out through ims if you'd like, though I totally understand if that's a bit too direct. if that's not your speed, I'd say just keep an eye out, I'll try to provide more opportunities for interaction very soon!!

#finally got some more incense from my uncle and immediately burned a hole in my brand new curtains#im not very bright am i#i thought like 'hmm. is it too close to the curtain' as i set it down and still just let it be there#it doesnt RLY bother me but like come onnn i got the curtains like this week!!#my uncle gave me a bunch of ones he had and since they didnt have labels ive been just kind of testing which ones smell good#and this one didnt so i thought ok ill let it burn up next to the window so it doesnt stink up the whole place#shoulda just watered it and tossed it away.... oh well#complaining here since its too stupid and small of a thing and my fault to complain about to any real person#anyway i also got jasmine incense and omg. it smells so good#ive always thought jasmine smells like intoxicating its so strong and so like strangely sweet#so good would recommend#i have jasmine tea too but either it doesnt taste like much or im bad at making it#smells great tho!#my post

i made korean tacos for dinner (no recipe just vibes + what i had in the fridge) and they were unbelievably delicious. my god.
#with a lil hazy ipa on the side!!!!!!#i forgot how EASY and GOOD tacos are to just have fun with.#for the curious: i picked up some stir fry beef at the store and while i chopped cilantro/onion/radish/cukes i let it sit in a combo of:#gochujang + fish sauce + rice vinegar (a dash) + garlic + chili powder + cumin + black pepper + salt + lime juice + onion powder#(just a bunch of stuff i had laying around - use what you have or can get)#then after the veggies were chopped and ready to go i tossed all the meat in a wok and cooked it up#THEN after pulling out the meat i threw a couple tortillas in the wok one at a time and sprinkled some cheese on one side to melt and get#a lil crispy...and also mixed some mayo + sriracha into a sauce for drizzling#(i would've used sour cream instead of mayo if i'd had any but mine was bad T-T)#also i'm out if kimchi or i would've put that on top too. god that would've been so good. i'm kinda mad abt it#anyway then i filled the tortillas with the meat + cilantro + onion + cucumber + radish and drizzled on some sauce.#divine. transcendent. revelatory.#i absolutely love how well korean (honestly a lot of different asian) seasonings and flavor profiles pair with mexican foods and flavors.#CULINARY SYNERGY!!!!#i know this is not a new observation but it still brings me joy every time i remember#anyway fair warning i like spicy food so this is spicy. obviously.
