#blimbo rambles#wc#I imagine human/anthro WC sort of has dental in the clans#But they don’t have fillings for cavities so if you have one you got two choices:#get it knocked out or have a big cavity in your tooth causing horrible pain#For human WC specifically it’s a little more complex because they have metal/steel fangs#replacing their actual canine teeth. But they rarely get their hands on actual fake teeth that they can#drill right into the gums. I don’t know how it works either that’s a wip

#I am a scaredy cat at heart I did need the distraction#I was being So So brave#and were actually only dealing with the Slightly Worse tooth on Saturday and I hope they can like#Do something noninvasive non painful for it#Less drilling the better you know#Less severing also the better#If they can actually do a bit of filling and fixing my dentist will be my favourite person on the planet#this tooth has been chipping and breaking for 24 months now#(I have valid reasons STOP)

GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY IM BACK I HAVE ANSWERS so we looked at my teeth etc and I’m not gonna die of sepsis bc despite all the shit my toothache caused me there’s no infection. so what was it, Bronwyn? good question!

#LMFAO#my wisdom teeth are……… so poorly angled. 100% impact on all four#and the left one is tryna make moves so it’s swelling my gums which is raising my molar#and jacking up my bite while the tooth is sensitive in sensitive gums#¯\_(ツ)_/¯#so he suggested just. get rid of them. take the wisdom teeth out. all 4 bc of the possible impact from them#and if I didn’t I’d just periodically have this crazy ass pain come and go and come and go and fuck THAT so. removal it is#👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻#I have no idea what that’s gonna cost lmfao so we’ll…. we’ll see#and today basically the pain hasn’t been nearly as severe. the swelling has gone down significantly. so I think the pain/problem is#subsiding for a bit. I hope. lol. so they’re referring me to the dental hospital teehee#and then we did a clean of my teeth bc I have crazy plaque buildup and thus bacteria and thus making the issue worse. apparently. so#which isn’t a surprise. depression and adhd means I don’t brush my teeth as often as I should. and floss is scary#while doing that he seemed to have no problems with any of my fillings so I assume they’re fine atm too#all those side effects bc my wisdom tooth wants to play up…….. attention seeker#also between that molar and the gums where the wisdom tooth is. there’s a pocket. apparently. and stuff is getting stuck in there apparently#a pocket……. head in hands. and obviously that’s difficult to clean so that’s also bothering my gums and thus my tooth. GOD#ooc#anyways that’s the dentist update. tldr; I’m fucking fine it’s just wisdom teeth fucking it all up

Fun fact about me: when I was a kid, I was one of those kids who’s baby teeth grew in late asf and thus wouldn’t budge by the time that my adult teeth started growing in(so I had to have my baby teeth manually removed by a dentist sequentially when each adult tooth grew in >m<). But that’s not the fun fact!!! This is atleast a little common to some capacity I think!!!
Where it actually gets interesting is the fact that I wasn’t born with one of my adult teeth at all(if you didn’t know, babies are born with both their baby teeth and adult teeth ready to go in their gums), and thankfully the corresponding baby tooth never became wobbly or damaged. So. As I grew up, and my jaw changed etc, in comparison to my adult teeth, I now have this silly little smol baby tooth hanging out there too

Me, the other night: "I may be going through a fuck of a life situation, but it could always be worse if I broke a flower pot in the shower again."
Me, today, waking up with a swollen and painful mouth infection:
#im in too much pain to find a better react#im so fucking tired#when will life stop throwing me multiple curveballs?? i dont even know how to juggle!!#im just getting hit in the face with each curveball. and it feels like it today too holy shit#im in the middle of teeth alignments for treating my tmj pain idk how im gonna go thru another root canal#my first root canal was only preceeded by hot/cold sensitivity. it never got swollen or hot#im so exhausted man. at least the regular dentist can see me today and hopefully give me antibiotics#im on immunosuppressants so i was crying this morning like damn im gonna have to go to the er for this i wont survive the weekend#im so upset tho it took me forever to fill my last prescription. so dont jinx it but i might still need to keep that er plan on hold#the good thing ab that tho is my back mri is tomorrow which is at the local er so i can do the mri and walk right over if needed#i just dont understand how this could happen i brush and floss after everything i eat or drink (so at least 3 times a day. thoroughly.)#bad genetics and stress strikes again i guess#vent#Cori.exe#Post.exe#god and i spent the last 2 days stress picking my face too so i look ROUGH right now#everything sucks lol#its right over where my wisdom tooth would have been too so like. way back there. im gonna be drinking soup for weeks#rip coris jaw. never had a chance

I feel weirdly jittery and keep getting palpitations too. what the fuck

Thinking about evil uses of the transporter
Move them every time they go through a door so they hit the frame
Rustle their sheets when they're juuust about to fall asleep
Give them a cavity
Put one of their shoes in the corridor
Put a splinter under their nail
Move their bed back and forth an inch or two every day so they're constantly stubbing their toe
Put pollen straight in their sinuses
Move their tibia slightly out of place so their knee hurts a little when they walk
Open up a tiny hole in their retina
If that's too mean, put an eyelash in their eye

it’s finally getting cold enough that i can bring my cardigan collection back into rotation without feeling like i’m gonna melt into a puddle the second i step outside!!!
#Seven.txt#my face#i have rematerialized back out of the void to once again make my once-in-a-blue-moon selfie & life update post#i’m running on 4 hours of restless sleep and the single banana i ate for lunch earlier today. let’s do this#hrrrrg i hate the lighting in my bathroom but i refuse to take pictures in the absolute Mental Illness Disaster Zone™️ that is my bedroom#anyways. got diagnosed with Mystery Pain Syndrome at the dentist today. so now i take ✨steroids✨#the less funny explanation is that my tooth still hurts with pressure nearly a month post-root canal and That’s Not Good#so we’re trying some new medications to see if that fixes it. and if not then who knows. root canal pt.2 the sequel. or extraction. sigh#and so the Dental Saga continues. todays visit went quite well in spite of the unforeseen mystery pain delaying the tooth-shaving plans#we had some time to kill so he managed to fill some of my other tiny cavities while i was there today so that’s good#okay moving on. what else. uhh. Today was really good even though fatigue was a bitch. I was able to go pick up my plushies, hit the used bookstore and found the second book in the Ambergris trilogy, and got some tacos for dinner.
I am trying not to freak out about my dentist tomorrow or psych eval on Friday, and the little joys are really helping with that.

#luka rambles#why has my sleep schedule been shit? because tooth pain!#i got to see a dentist just before they closed and guess what! no cavities! none! so-why pain??#i got lotsa work done on them a little over a year 1/2 ago and apparently ive been really good abt keeping them in good shape!!#so again-why pain?well apparently when u have fillings too close to the root they get traumatized overtime and that can lead to infection!#& ive got the lovely combo of weak teeth and long curved strong roots. aka will likely be prone to extractions that will always be complex#so guess who gets root canals on one front tooth and the one to the left of it despite no cavities just after christmas?#and also they fucked up the perscriptions so that i thankfully have antibiotics but unfortunately no pain meds#so. guess who got like 2 hours of sleep before being woken up this morning to Pain. that took 2 hours to back calm down so i could sleep.#and then only got another two hours of sleep bc yknow it fckn chrismers and we had to wake up to get on the road!!#i have had a collective 8 hours of sleep in about 2 days and i get to go right back to work and will not have a day off till thursday#i am. Very Tired. is it any wonder i got an infection my body couldnt handle in the first place? w/ holiday stress to boot#i asked for a galaxy comforter for chrismas and i rly hope i get one bc i will be so ready to take the biggest nap

pain has veeeeeery suspiciously disappeared from the tooth which makes me veeeeeeeery suspicious bc that’s not good lmfao bc if the pain goes without treatment, it means smth in that tooth has fucking died if I can’t feel anything anymore LMAO. okay if I press hard enough it hurts but it’s nowhere near the sharp ass pain it’s been leading up to this point so! I’m gonna go into that appointment expecting dead nerves and an infection or abscess of some kind. I’m also going in expecting the tooth to get ripped out so! what a day that’s gonna be

I get a root canal. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#mind you the one tooth I did have pulled had a hole so fucking big I’m assuming#it just took the nerves clean out at the start#bc that hole got BIG. BIG. I could put my tongue in that thing I had to clean it out after every meal#and I told the receptionist on the phone yeah there’s a hole and she’s like how can you tell#I CAN PUT MY TONGUE THROUGH HALF THE TOOTH LMFAO#but a different tooth HURT so we fixed that one first dmfnfndj AND GET THIS. ITS THE ONE IM EXPECTING TO BE RIPPED OUT#HAH. A FULL CIRCLE. MAN. THAT WHOLE HUGE FUCK OFF FILLING FOR NOTHING#luckily they cap at a certain amount per financial year so it’s $36 or smth and if I go enough and hit the cap I don’t pay anymore which is#additionally the first pulled tooth was a very back molar also. this one is on the other side and on the lower jaw instead#which Could effect chewing a bit#but like the other one I figure I’ll get used to it. so. it is what it is#I’m willing to just say goodbye I just want a photo of it if possible#bc one root canal was like. a worry. bc of how fucking huge my roots are they worried the filling#would push the tooth in and it’d hit nerves and maybe it would reject. alas that did not happen so!#ooc#can you tell we have good luck with teeth in my family#I’m not the only one with teeth missing and technically with how bad mine are they’re still not even the WORST so! silver linings!
