I feel so itchy and skin crawly looking at this picture
Like that is Eddie covered in bees (shudder) I’m assuming during the call at the perfume launch thingy where we’ve seen him running with his bee net on!
It’s also making my brain itch!!
#Eddie covered in bees like that is making me itchy#but also - the metaphor is not lost on me#actually there are several metaphors#the idea of being covered in bees and thus being stung repeatedly - much like Eddie has been stung repeatedly by life#the idea that bees only sting when under threat - Eddie blowing up his life could be seen as him stinging because he feels under threat#in part because of his familbut mostly from himself - his subconscious is fighting against him - related to his dawning queer awakening#plus there is also the fact that the reaction to being stung is a delayed one - yes you might feel the initial sting#but the reaction develops over time as the body reacts and tries to expel or neutralise the bee venom#this is a massive metaphor for Eddie - the delayed reactions he’s had to many things in his life but in particular to buck coming out as bi#he felt the initial sting but claimed it wouldn’t change anything only now he’s reacting to that sting - the swelling and pain is happening#and that will lead to recovery - it all plays into the queer Eddie narrative very nicely#because when you get stung by a bee you think it won’t be that bad - but it’s always worse and more itchy than you think#I’m not being remotely coherent about this at all#I might come back to it tomorrow!#911 spoilers#eddie diaz#911 abc#bee theory

Hello again, fellas. (And to whoever is actually interested in looking at my weird little AU-) Sanctuary has been on my mind lately and uhhh, I’d like to introduce you to some new characters!
Meet the Eventide Duo: REI and KAI!
I, like with Aster and Del, have never drawn them before, and because I honestly didn’t have it in me to do two full-body drawings with color and everything, doodling them was the next best thing. I’ve been thinking about these two a lot and just really wanted to get them down as a start. Soooo—this is their first pass and things are subject to change! (Please excuse the messiness-)
Rei (the Red) and Kai (the Blue) come from—okay this is kinda funny now that I’m writing it out—their AU was inspired by an FNF fan song that I heard awhile back. It was something like “Frostbite but Blue.” The person who made the song (I don’t remember their name off the top of my head) said they were going to post the lore, but as far as I know they never did, so my brain kinda took the concept and ran with it—making it into my own story. (Sorry to whoever that was-)
Rei is the fledgling god of the Sun and the Second Coming of Arceus. He ascended to godhood after his untimely death, returning to earth to protect the one he loves. Rei may look like a massive grump, but in reality, he's a ray of sunshine and one of the most warm-hearted and protective people you'll ever meet. Kai is still a Pokémon Trainer, but he’s also Rei's singular devotee. He's honestly pretty quiet for a Blue, if not a bit high-strung, but he's loyal and sweet, even if he has a bit of a hard time showing it.
The both of them worked together to survive the violent floods and rainfall that devastated their original home, and now live a quiet life together in Sanctuary, going on little adventures here and there to try and reclaim the life they lost bit by bit.
(Okay, time to tag my one fan. @100nebulas , I think you said you wanted more Sanctuary content in general that one time, so I guess you’re gonna be eternally tagged in these lmao. Hope you enjoy :])
#WOO NEW CHARACTERS LETS GO-#Okay actually it’s 4 am and I’m dead. I genuinely thought I was going to do this tomorrow but I finished the art a few hours ago-#and just really struggled with how to write their mini bio :/ I’m tired.#But Anyway! More Characters for the Cast! Yippee!#(And for whom it may concern—Rei and Kai are the only two characters I have that are canonically (romantically) in love.)#I really wanted to do something special for all of my characters. Like- make them all full-body art and then doodle in the extra details-#and write a ton of headcanon/lore about them under a cut kinda like what the folks over at TheMissingNumbers did-#but I’ve got no drive and doodling is all I’m capable of to be honest.#But getting them down is the most important part. I can go back and reorganize everything later with better art and info.#All of my characters come in pairs (for whatever reason—not even I know.) So expect more doodles at… some point. I can’t really tell you.#Sanctuary’s main cast (and by main cast I mean the characters I think of most often) is around 8-10 characters.#(on the fence about the last two.)#But uh- don’t expect anything high-quality for awhile. Idk why I'm so nervous for my embalming theory midterm tomorrow, I've never scored less like like a 90 on any of my assignments and get 100s on most of them, but by god. I feel like I'm going to throw up and die
#i have to wake up at a reasonable hour tomorrow and clean my room ao the proctor doesnt judge me for my “decor”#i shouldve updated the proctor browser today but. well. i didnt.#i also just hate the fucking room check.... like i have a gaming laptop from 2015 that thing is NOT lightweight lol#makes it a huge pain to show the proctor under the desk and around my walls and everything. and half the time something happens#connection-wise and i have to start over... annoying its all just annoying

#GOD IM JUST#so both Q and I were under the impression we would be getting help fixing the place#almost a full week later#it’s basically just been me his elderly grandma and him when hes not working#which is very little time since he’s full time#I have been working on this place from basically sunrise to sunset#doing what I can to make it clean and repaint#but I can’t do most repairs#mainly what the bathroom needs#but today#ooooooo today#Q’s parents are getting on our nerves man#we’ve been trying to explain that the bathroom is not functional in it’s current state#and instead of Q’s father#the landlord of this place who decided keeping it while living two and a half hours away was a smart idea#helping to fix said bathroom#says he’d rather work on the living room floor which is the lowest priority#and when we expressed this to them#his mother goes#if you don’t like it you can go live somewhere else#EXCUSE ME#I have literally been spending all the time I can trying to fix up YOUR place for you two#to the point where I am now coming down with a cold and my lowing back is killing me#where Q is sacrificing every free moment he has trying to do what he can while working a full time job#and THIS is the thanks we get???????#what the hell#anyway they’re coming tomorrow but Q has work so I am going to cry#I am so exhausted and stressed if they pull some shit I might just do something I shouldn’t#I want this to be over#the second were able to afford a house we’re getting the hell out of here
