thinking about shilo bathroy tonight with his "innocent" merit. how to all who see him he's young and ignorant and wide eyed with wonder and curiosity about the world. a sickly victorian child who can do no wrong. but its shown almost immediately that he has no regard for his servants lives and dominates them to their deaths so he can have a little fun in the castle. he's incapable of drinking directly from a body due to his flaws, but its not out of concern for their safety, as he flippantly has a man drained completely into goblets right in front of him and doesn't give it a second thought. all throughout the campaign he recklessly dominates almost everyone he comes across with little thought to the consequences, ruining countless lives. and its not until the very end when he's finally faced with what he's done. and when the realization sinks in he loses that "innocence" that he never really had in the first place. even as hes grieving that loss he still continues to dominate. to alter memories. because its all he knows how to do. its his nature. does anyone else ever think about him

maybe because not everyone has to cater to black and brown readers? if i feel excluded then talk to ur black and brown writers bc why tf would (for ex.) white writers write black readers when…when they aren’t?? yall aren’t victims write ur own shit if u care so much like idk what to tell u but not everyone has to bow down and write the way you want them too.

I hesitate to even answer this because you sound stupid as hell, but since I think other people need to get this shit through their skulls as well:

If you are a writer, and you claim to be writing an "x reader" fanfic for a character you like, the general consensus is that "reader" in this situation should be neutral for the most part. Sure, there's different versions of that ( "x fem reader", "x masc reader", etc.") , but generally, the idea is that "reader" in this situation could be anyone, yes? A lot of writers on this app and others, write "reader" as if tiny white women are the default.

And you know what?

If you wanna write that way, fine, but say that. If you so desprately want to write about Abby Anderson fucking a 5ft nothing white girl with blonde hair and green eyes - write that. But don't call that shit an "x reader" when you know its a self insert meant to exclude everybody that doesnt look like you. Dont claim to be a safe place for all readers if when POC say they feel excluded from the things you write, you say stupid shit like what this anon just did. If your shit is labeled "x reader" with no other warnings, one should be able to assume that they arent going to see any specifics about body type, hair textures, skin color or eye color - but no. Thats not the case.

I swear, every time we bring this shit up you bitches act like we killed your fucking grandma. If you dont wanna write in a way that everyone can consume, fine, but dont make it seem as if petite white girls are just the default human in every scenario. Theres a content warning over every fic, if you dont want to see how problematic it is to write as if whiteness is the default then the least you could do it leave a big fat warning in that little "CW" section to let us know that you didnt write this with the existence of people that dont look like you in mind.

I LOVE MY PROCESS ITS SO FUN G4AHHH

First of all. Ms paint doodle I made before I even decided I was gonna make something . I ended up using this as a reference for how I'd draw all of them ...

Then I just hop into lineart! My sketch is my line art. It's more fun this way lmao. I don't worry about my art being wonky or perfect

I didn't like how Tisha was looking, decided it was better to have her cuddle like the rest of them, so I changed that

Then I just. I start rendering!! I didnt do too much of that on this piece but the process is still the same. I do this without color first because I just find it easier to understand and work with! I make adjustments as my brain seems fit at this stage as well.

And last I use blending modes to add all that lovely color!! I don't use one layer I use like. FOUR so that I can get a nice variety of shades n such... I don't color pic either I just slap colors I think fit... I usually merge everything at the end and draw on top on a normal layer to add finishing touches!

And that's pretty much it!!!

a silly shoujo concept with jade where he picks up your notebook after you've left it in class. resourceful eel that he is, he flips through the pages out of curiosity. he's certain he'll just find your notes or doodles you've made out of boredom, but it never hurts to pry just a little. he won't tell a soul if he finds anything embarrassing. certainly not!

to his surprise, he finds a bucket list of sorts, which details all of the things you hope to accomplish by the end of your time at nrc. you're quite methodical about this list. there are academic goals. personal goals. social goals. you've checked some of them off: do well on this year's midterm. commit to an exercise routine. make more friends. etc. etc.

but then he happens upon the romantic goals. things like holding hands, kissing, cuddling, going on dates, sharing meals... he reads through every item on this specific list and finds himself blushing like a lovestruck maiden. it's not because of the nature of this list but, rather, the notes you've made in the margin: possible people to try this with: jade leech?

and his name is the only one you've written! :O is this...an indirect love confession? do you have feelings for him? is now a good time to hopefully try to kindle a deeper bond with you after he's spent so much time pining from the sidelines??????

tl;dr - jade wants to be the one to complete the goals on your romance list, but you're too prideful (and suspicious of him) to admit you'd ever think of him in such a light! that's too embarrassing! too much opportunity to be exploited. and jade's a bit of a shameless coward.

so he decides there's only one solution: he's going to try to court you. the mer way. the human way would be much too obvious, after all. ^^;;;;

Logan has gone through tremendous amounts of pain and suffering. He can take beatings, being shot, stabbed, gutted, radiation, skinned, have literally HALF his body beamed off and he'll shrug it off eventually.

But the moment he accidentally stubs his toe. Hes creating new swear words, his anguish is heard miles away, he destroys the table that dared stood in his way and turns it into firewood. You may call him dramatic but cmon, stubbing your toe is AWFUL

Bucky growing to hate wearing any kind of footwear and opting to go barefoot a lot, especially in Wakanda. Some of it might be things he picks up as customs, but Steve thinks it's more than that judging by the almost melancholy look on his face any time he has to pull his boots on to run errands and how quick he is to fling them off the first chance he gets.

When he catches sight of him walking around in the soft ticklish grass later, wiggling his toes and smiling down at his feet, he thinks he gets it. He understands it enough to stop and unlace his own boots before heading out to join him by the lake and the smile on his face when he catches sight of Steve's pale feet is answer enough.
