It’s so disappointing people don’t engage anymore. No comments, no reblogs, ppl can’t even take a micro second to leave kudos.

I miss having support. I miss community. I miss people caring and being interested. I miss people coming along for the ride with me.

Really makes me want to stop sharing publicly. I try to not get discouraged but man. I’m really fucking discouraged right now.

At least if I went full private and left things just for my eyes, I wouldn’t be so disappointed or feel so neglected.

I’m also such an active cheerleader for other writers, I feel like I am super supportive and to not get any love back, or very little I should say ( the beautiful 2-4 ppl who are amazing, you know who you are) , starts to wear on me. I am seriously thinking about pulling all my work and going private.

I miss how these spaces used to be. And how supportive readers and others used to be too.

#this is a big decision and I’m gonna sit on it before deciding #I’m so tempted to delete everything right now #this isn’t about writing for me #I do #but like many I share because the community and support enriches the experince #now that it’s gone it all just feels to empty and lonely (the public sharing part)#not the writing I’ll always love that #I’m gonna try to think this thru but if I suddenly peace out this month or delete my masterlist u know why #to those who have been lovely thank you

It's not perfect but I am very happy with it + I am so happy to put down the tablet pen.#Digital art has some nice features but I'm sticking with traditional! I need a month to recover from the 2+ weeks of torture.#Okay lets talk about the AU and the comic now #Disco elysium has some of the best existential-horror-dream sequences I have ever seen.#The dialogue here is heavily inspired by The Final Dream - A scene I'd love to talk about more were it not so heavy with spoilers.#My AU is a lot more complex than a simple character swap but I really felt like LWJ + YLLZ fit this scene.#The final dream is about being unable to move on from a lost love. From something You made holy. From something You ruined.#It is about realizing that no matter how smart you are or what you offer or how you try to change -#You will never be able to turn back time. You will never ever be able to fix what is broken. That you also have been broken for a long time #You are a fuck-up who worships the nail covered ground of someone who did not want to be holy. And even though it hurts-#You cannot let this nightmare go. The pain keeps the love close. It is worse to forget. You promised to remember.#WWX died thinking LWJ disliked him. LWJ lost someone he thought was revolted by his love.

These are my earliest attempts at drawing Lemongrab that I have access to, I first wanted to try my usual more semi realistic/less stylized artstyle, but soon decided I prefer the cartoon style better! So that's what you will see going forward

Still, the whole point of this blog is to just have more art of him out there for me and others, so even if I don't like them as much, I should share them as well!

#mine.txt #i mean the char doesnt have to be That much of an asshole to be someone you both love and hate ofc #but once youve gone to that extreme theres basically nothing stopping you from indulging in whatever feeling a char gives you #regardless of assholery #this was ages ago so idr where i found them #but like there was this person who couldnt believe that ppl would actually stan villains and not just the heroes cause they were evil 😭#i think?? i found them on youtube???#idk its been a while #but that baffled me cause even when i was a kid thanks to my interest in noir and darker media #i had a streak of being a fan of morally grey asshole characters #who were like. Objectively assholes who i can gurantee Nobody would like irl no ifs ands or buts about it #but who were still really interesting and complex and flawed #you didnt like them cause they were nice or good or even Likeable #you liked them cause on Some degree you respected or at the very least were entertained by them #whether it be their integrity; their conviction; their goals; their audacity; their suffering; etc #there was always Something that intrigued you #you may not like them on a personal standpoint but they put on a good show and thats what matters #unfortnately it was also common for chars from these media to be laced with bigotry but its just how it goes im afraid #theres a few that dont really contain those but they tend to be either hidden gems or for younger audiences #idk i should watch and play noir stuff again i think i missed them #like that kinda stuff heavily colored my preferences in things

Hi,

I just wanted to update you on the status of most of my stories. I am currently under a lot of stress for a multitude of reasons, and my lil noggin is finding it hard to write with it all.

I have the next chapter of NSWL written, it just needs looking over by my beta (and no doubt they will be doing a lot of heavy lifting this chapter so they can take as long as they need) but I don't have anything written for my other stories yet. My next aims will be NSWL, Oathbreaker and, after that, For Pluck's Sake. Hopefully, things will calm down in a month, but updates will not be as soon as I would like.

I know I've not replied to a few of your comments recently so I want you to know I've seen them and I greatly appreciate them, I just don't have the energy to reply to them as of yet. So here's me saying thank you to all who've left comments and been so kind. Your support means a lot!

Not to constantly be Christian on main, but every day I get a bible verse from my bible app (youversion). And today's verse felt very fitting:

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Even though I think most of us, regardless of nationality feel disheartened by the US election. To me at least there's strength in knowing that not all hope is lost. There is someone greater than what's happening. Don't let this weigh on your heart. Don't be afraid.
