Hi Pia!

From the last post you answered about Temsen, why doesn’t he want to be close to anyone in UtB? Is it a peak alpha thing for him, or so much work? Or bad friendship/relationship in the past?

Side note: Temsen is probably my favorite character before Augus and the Raven Prince, so I seek to know as much about him as possible 😂

It is indeed a peak alpha thing! Temsen is truly happy.

Most peak alphas aren't drawn to personal relationships and are happiest when they have control over something much larger, like a group of people. He's a doctor who controls and oversees the health of over 20 omegas in his care, he has all the personal satisfaction he needs from the life he lives, and a relationship would only make him miserable and draw him further and further away from himself.

Most peak alphas never fall in romantic love and some are incapable of it. Temsen's definitely one of them!

He still considers himself as being close to people, it's just in a way that most people wouldn't recognise. For him, talking to Gary, or some of the caterers, or offering compassion to an omega etc. is all he needs to get by in life.

He's never been through any real interpersonal trauma, the worst things he's been through are around his training at university and seeing omegas in experimentation facilities etc. - things he chose to witness and that shaped his path in life and made it more satisfying for him.

Temsen's happiest as a doctor! He doesn't need anything more, including a personal (romantic) relationship!
