Maybe an unpopular take but I think people who try to paint anti-Palestine/anti-Arab sentiment as just being the work of Zionists, or implants by the Israeli government to distract from what’s happening, are counterproductive—because it essentially insinuates that outside of Israel, anti-Arab sentiment is just fiction. In reality anti-Arab racism has historically been one of the easiest things for people to tap into, and I think it’s misleading to pretend that there aren’t people like that lurking among us. Some are silent and some are vocal, but they exist. A lot of people don’t see Arabs as worthy of saving simply because they’re Arab. It’s counterproductive to imply it’s just propaganda work or doesn’t actually exist.

- Levi knows all of your stims.

- “Oi! Keep it down.” He’ll tell the others when he can tell the volume of people’s chatter is getting to you.

- Anytime there are large group meetings or crowds, he’ll watch you closely, making sure you don’t get overwhelmed. He won’t make you feel bad if you need to leave. He’ll even encourage you to leave before you get too overstimulated.

- He’ll listen to you info dump and will even ask questions about your special interests.

- When he sees anything related to one of your special interests, he’ll get it for you. “I figured you might like this…”

- He’ll let you know as soon as he knows when there’s a change in the schedule.

- He doesn’t get annoyed when you bump into him while walking. If anything he’ll stay close to you so it’s easier for you to walk straight.

- He also never minds explaining things a second time or making something simpler for you to understand. Whenever you apologize for needing a re-explanation he waves you off and will tell you he was the one who wasn’t being clear enough and he’ll start again.

- When someone makes a joke and you look confused, he’ll lean over and quickly explain it to you. If he’s also confused, he’ll roll his eyes, leaning over to you, saying “I don’t get it either…”

- You tell Levi you’re tired even though you got a sufficient amount of hours of sleep. “Take a break and go do something you like.” He’ll tell you simply. “Don’t worry about anything else.”

- Levi is so so patient. When you’re overwhelmed and trying not to shut down he’ll wait until you’re ready to speak.

- All in all, Levi would be incredibly understanding and would not second guess accommodating you.

Me, walking the New Guy around on his first day: And yeah, that’s pretty much it as far as the tour goes, so we’ll just hang out here in the driver room until your trainer shows up.

New Guy: Yeah ok, that’s cool.

*HR/payroll lady walks in, I say hi, we chat for a second about a pumpkin spice cake recipe she gave me right before the holiday*

Me: Oh! By the way, New Guy, this is the HR lady, her name is *redacted* and she’s very nice!

HR lady, that I know full well used to be the ONLY accountant and called “the accounting nazi” but has honestly been nothing but kind and helpful to me personally: *does that old person, no bullshit, over the glasses with raised eyebrows look* Oh, you really are still new!

Me, to New Guy: Okay, she’s honestly been really nice to me personally, but there’s a rumor from the veterans to not get on her bad side.

HR lady: *straight up cackles, then does that sweet old lady shoulder pat where they barely touch just the outside your shoulder their finger tips* There we go!

people have GOT to be more comfortable with some spaces not being about them. sometimes spaces are not for you. sometimes you will be told you cannot enter a space because it’s not for you. or you cannot bring a friend because a space is for you and not for them. that’s ok

Stand Up, Date, & Get Wrecked

You’re out having a refreshing drink after a long day when three hot men approach you and ask you out, one right after the other. Super flattered and without thinking, you said yes to all of them.

Unfortunately, you need to stand one up. He’s not answering his phone and you’d double booked yourself. Oops. You also have to pick one to go out on your date with. While you’re out, you discover the third guy is the waiter at the restaurant your date chose, and he isn’t happy to find out why you cancelled your plans with him. He snarks at you during your entire date.

This is a weird thought I’m having so I wanted to ramble a bit but I don’t understand this weird double standards in fandom that I’ve noticed and it’s just. Idk.

JayVik is one of the most popular ships in the arcane fandom despite Jayce saying ‘he’s like a brother to me’

Meanwhile Genji says ‘you’re like a brother to me’ to Cassidy in one of their interactions and immediately everyone starts dunking on the ship saying it’s found family it’s this it’s that and now you can’t ship it. I think it mainly just comes down to ship popularity tbh like. It’s undeniable people like yeehan and JayVik a lot more than they like things like Spuriken and idk. MelJay? (only comparison I could think of)

I think with JayVik specifically it’s also that you get to see a lot more development between Jayce and Viktors relationship, so most fans would probably grow attached to it more despite what happens with Mel who we see a bit less of??

Idk about overwatch every ship just gets tablescraps I don’t even know where yeehan came from 😭 blizzard can’t even decide if it wants to push Pharmercy or Gency so I am so honestly over it at this point lmaoo

I have no issues with any of these ships do whatever you want I just think it’s interesting how people cherry pick depending on the ship/fandom ig?

I’ve been tired and unmedicated for two days so you’re getting a weird post with minimal context.

In an alpha or beta version of AHIT, if you gave a Time Piece to Mu in pity at the end, you’d end up exactly one Time Piece short and have to walk all the way home. Then there’d be a scene with Hat Kid having grown up, thus being Hat Adult, and you’d meet a similarly grown-up Mu, who would give you the Time Piece back.

I just realized within the past hour that if grown-up Hat Kid is called Hat Adult, the adult version of Mustache Girl must, by necessity, be called Mustache Woman.

I find that far funnier than I probably should.
