The rest of the outfit is him finding whatever he can.#and what better way to pair a lack of shirt than with fishnets?#Lan Wangji doens't have the historical cosplay thing kim has going on but he does wear cute bunny socks. As a treat.#and YES it would be electrochem getting the boost.#It's the skills for *more* than just drugs and sex! Its also the one that goes 'YIPEE! I understand from a logical standpoint why the scene at the end of Adolescence of Utena is sweet and important thematically (they’re finally free and moving towards the real world together) but every time I see it I’m just filled with a deep fear that their hair is going to get caught in the wheels of the vehicle and they’ll both die horrifically

Every episode, I fall more in love with him <3
These screenshots do not do justice to just how comforting Game is in this moment. His voice is so, so soft and kind and he doesn't try to pretend like Diew didn't just completely bomb the presentation, but he's also offering very honest and practical reasons for Diew to feel better. Sometimes when friends try to comfort you and they tell you that it's not a big deal or it wasn't as bad as it seems, it feels more like they're downplaying or not acknowledging how awful you feel but I like that Game isn't doing that.
But most importantly, he's not letting Diew face it alone:
I know everyone has things on their plate and so sometimes it's not always possible to offer to walk with someone through the difficult thing, but when someone DOES offer, goodness it can feel so, so good!
MND is so good at portraying genuinely good friendships. God's entire friend group, while chaotic, is just so enthusiastically supportive of each other. And I love that Diew and Game's friendship is built on these genuine moments of connection and common interest. You can really see why they're friends. Sometimes in shows there's a sense that if these people weren't just in the same class/thrown together by the situation, they may not really be friends but Diew and Game's friendship feels like they'd've found each other even if they weren't in the same class(es?) together (probably through seeing each others names on the same books they borrow from the library or some other cute shit like that). Literally every time they're together its just wholesome and lovely and good. <3

#What he's wearing are just round glasses which is cute and all but also proper lab safety goggles have special rims that would also protect#your eyes from different sides#Cause things could splash from the side too not just in front of you#Covering your hands: good. Not covering your wrist: not good. Especially since your wrist has some pretty important vessels#I've seen some nasty burns that you really don't wanna get on your wrist cause again. Vessels are there and you'd rather burn your hand#Than your wrist.#USUALLY you'd tie your hair up if it's long so it doesn't accidentally burn or get caught in anything#But i feel like his hair is in this weird stage where it's like...kinda short so it's not TOO bad but also still long?#Would still tie it up tho#I am not explaining the chemicals or the lab coat i think that's pretty self explanatory. C'mon murr these are basics.#Metal is awful in almost all labs#you'll get burns if something goes wrong with electricity#Also can heat up if it absorbs radiation. I've literally never understood parents who don't let their like... TODDLER age kids play with kids of the "opposite" gender. Like wtf do you think your 3 year old is gonna get up to????? News flash heteros people aren't literally born sexual beings and you don't need to protect your sweet baby girl from the boy from her preschool class.
Which also makes boy/girl friendships later on actually LESS TABOO meaning, if your kid grew up being friends with OTHER GENDERS, they will be less likely to see others solely as potential romantic/sexual objects and can actually have positive normal friendships with people of any sex or gender. Who fucking knew that if you don't treat something as FORBIDDEN then it stops being so appealing, especially if you have a rebellious streak
